The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(OOC: Just to let you know, we are under the assumption that all the X-Men have arrived, except Emerald. That means, Daria, Orion, Wire, Fade, Raphael, and Riruki are here and in the simulation with everyone.)
Raphael did a couple last minute stretches as Tricity gave her speech. He gave a small smile to the rest of the group, most of whom he knew, though he only knew Fade well. He figured he would get to know them well enough in time, even if he wished he had gotten to know his new teammates before the training. In truth his early arrival had been double-fold; one, to get some warm-up exercises in, and two, to hopefully meet other members of the X-Men on a more personal and upfront manner.
He turned his gaze back to Tricity as she finished and wheeled herself across the room. He gave another glance to those gathered around as he wondered what each of their unique talents was. He drew a slow breath, held it for a moment, and then blew it back out as the computer announced the beginning of the simulation. He watched Wire spin threads from his finger-tips and expertly removed the head of a robot.
He nodded, more to himself as he realized that no one else would care what he was doing, so long as he was holding his own for the moment. He listened to Tricity’s directions, and followed them accordingly, moving away from the clustered group of X-Men as six fresh robots appeared.
He watched them trod along and pick targets from the group of warriors. Raphael was already formulating his own attack strategy, one that would save the use of his blades until later. He drew a breath as a robot sited him in while remaining a good couple sprints worth away. He dipped under the initial shot as he started his legs into motion; pumping engines beneath his well built frame. He carried himself nimbly around a second blast from the robot and closed the distance with it. As he closed in he snapped his leg out in a near perfect snap kick to the robot’s leg, just below the knee joint.
A soft clink resounded as the metal of the robot and the metal of his shin collided, and the metal of the robot gave out first. Raphael winced slightly; the impact had hurt a little more than he anticipated, though the pain was fleeting as his healing factor repaired the damage almost instantly. He continued with his attack even before his shin healed through, bringing a quick uppercut to the robot’s chin and followed through with a quick jab to the ‘throat’ of the robot, sending it down in a heap as critical components were crushed under his fist.
Raphael turned, sparing only a momentary glance to the other members of the team before launching himself at another robot.
Fade nodded as she and Raph were introduced as new X-Men. When Tricity left, she separated herself just as Tricity had said and she waited for a robot to appear. THe first one appeared and Wire took care of it. Then six more and Raph took care of another one. It was her turn. One of the robots targeted her and began to advance. The robot fired, well, what it was that Tricity stated they fired yet it did not hit her. For the moment it came close, she threw her arms over her head and kicked her legs up, landing on her hands, before she pushed off of her hands, clamped her claws into the wall using her feet, and swung her body up, catching herself with the claws on her hands. With that, she leap from the wall and landed behind the robot before she thrust her claws into it's system and clung onto the wires before she ripped them out, causing the robot to malfunction.
Well, a malfunctioning robot is not that much better than a fine-working one, and it began flailing around, shooting it's weapon at the red head. Fade ducked just in time as the robot attempted to fire at her, but missed oftenly. She turned herself invisible before she approached the robot, dodging it's firing. She could not ripe out more wires as it was to risky, so she dropped to the ground, and by using her feet, pushed it up against the wall before running up to it as it was dazed and lunging back onto the wall. Now she reached down as it attempted to shoot the wall it was pushed up against and ripped the rest of the wires out, causing the robot to shoot sparks before vanishing as Tricity said it would.
In relief, she turned visible, showing that she was alright and waited for the next attacker as she stayed pressed up against the wall, scanning the fighting to see how the others were doing.
Wire ducked a blow from one of the robots and nearly had a heart attack when Fade appeared somewhat close to him. 'Well, she'll certianly be good for stealth missions,' he thought, wrapping the strings around the hips of the robot and pulling hard. Its gun fired into the ground, missing Daria's back. Dominic stepped on the robots neck and pushed down until the loud crunch folded inward. In that process he was able to pull more of his wires from his fingertips to wrap around its neck, pulling it off.
Wire looked across the large room and saw Orion using his chaos mutation to cause the robots to easily malfunction, but it soon bored him. The large man then began pounding the machines in a sparring match that was easiest for him out of everyone there, no doubt. 'Tricity will be sending in more of the robots quicker. We have to think of a strategy plan or we'll be wiped out.' It was then he noticed a lazer aimed at Fade, but it didn't look like she noticed it. How could she really, since she was dealing with her own robot and it was another one from across the room that was aiming for her. Wire quickly moved toward her and took her around the waist, collapsing forward and to the ground in his rush. The lazer hit the wall and gave a simulated breaking appearance. He quickly helped his new teammate up and gave a smile. "How bout we all try and think of a plan. This wave of robots will keep coming in a minute." Another lazer blew up the wall just above their heads and Wire pulled Fade down to take cover. "What's your boyfriend's name again? Ra...Ra...OH, that's right." Wire stood up and waved to him to come over since he was closest and the others were still busy fighting. "Raphael! Bout time we think of a plan!!"

Zeke sat and watched the training session from his view in the protected room. In here, it was safe. Out there, not so much. But Zeke wanted to be out there. He knew he needed to be, so he wanted to be. He always wanted to do what he needed to do. At least... almost always.
He watched as Fade went invisible and Wire and Raphael did their thing. Droids or robots or whatever Tricity called them were dropping like flies, but then again, this was a lower level on the session. Soon it would get harder.
A though came to his mind, so Zeke leaned over and spoke to Tricity, who seemed to be enthralled with the proceedings. "How is that mutant named Mike doing? I heard he was in bad shape, but I didn't hear if he had recovered or not. I hope he is doing better..."

Daria was below, dressed in her catsuit. She had a lot of anger lately and this was such a good way to get rid of it.
She bobbed and weaved, teleporting in and out of sight as the robots targeting her knocked into eachother or missed completely. Her tail provided her balance as her deadly claws scratched through the material and wires that operated them. She wasn't in frenzy mode; she swore after the stone was removed from her back she'd never go back to that, but she was close and she fought with a passion that seemed it would soon exhaust her energy if she didn't calm down.
She was dizzy and tired but she didn't care, each one looked like Fusionist to her and she was fighting for Mike.
Riruki was dressed in one of her gothic dresses, an xmen logo embroidered on the front but she wouldn't wear a uniform, not pants. No pants for her.
She clutched her doll tightly chanting in her head how she wasn't afraid.
(But you are afraid) Hina whispered in her ear. (You're afraid and you need to use it.)
"I don't want to hurt anyone." She muttered as she sat in the corner curled in a ball.
(Anyone who gets hurt, Ruki, wasn't strong enough in the first place. they shouldn't even be here. Think of it as doing Tricity a favor)
Riruki couldn't control it as her head filled with pressure and a sphere of brownish gold energy formed before her eyes. She screamed as the pressure increased and the sphere grew bigger and bigger, before she knew it, it's diameter was equal to that of a hula hoop and it shor forward creating a hige explosion and destroying nearly ten droids and anything in it's path.
The pieces flew everywhere as Riruki stayed curled in a corner. "no...no" she whispered. the doll grinned happily
Tricity jotted down on her notes of everyone's progress, determining strengths and weaknesses and possible tag team moves. "How is that mutant named Mike doing? I heard he was in bad shape, but I didn't hear if he had recovered or not. I hope he is doing better..." Zeke asked.
She kept her eyes down to the observation room, but spoke to Zeke. "He's not doing so well...He's still in a psychic coma and as you can see," she nodded toward Daria who seemed to be in a rage, "the affects of it are obvious to my other teammates. The Doc Prof is keeping an eye on him and..." it was then Tricity noticed Riruki's expression after the huge burst of energy that destroyed several of the simulated robots. "Excuse me one second."
Tricity took the God mic and spoke into it while the simulation continued. "Ruki, can you come upstairs for a moment please? I'm speeding up the program, guys."
Emerald Lupin walked into the office thing that Tricity was sitting in, her tail wagging back and forth. She was wondering if it was now time that she would finally be able to become a full fledged x men and not just an in training one. Hell she had been in enough battles, taken enough injuries and experienced feelings of teamwork she never experienced while she was alone. Now it was time she finally was able to join.
She sat next Tricity, glad that the mic was off. "Umm Tricity. You know how I have done alot of missions, fought off badguys with the other x men. Well I was wondering if perhaps..." The wolf girl paused, waiting for the leader to finish her sentance
"Of course," she replied, nudging the girl in the shoulder with her own. "Ya know, I was waiting for you to get here so we could give you a proper induction." She smiled and nodded down into the training room where the other X-Men were practicing. "Raphael and Fade have just joined too. In this part of the training, robots will be coming into the room. When they are destroyed, they'll fade away. It's simulated danger, so if you're hit, you'll take a 'time out' for 30 seconds. Right now, the robots are coming in waves, so you'll want to use teamwork which it looks like..." she strained to see who had gathered together through the smoke from the destroyed robots, "Wire, Raph, and Fade are about to do. You can head down there. I'll take your measurements for a uniform afterwards. Get down those stairs, Missy."
Emerald grinned happily, hugging Tricity tightly before bounding down the stairs in wolf form. She attacked the nearest Robot to her. Ripping out it internal mechanism for it.
The wolf girl sniffed the air, before turning to the other robots, continuing her wolven assult of claws and fangs.

Zeke listened as Tricity continued to speak about Mike and his illness. Didn't sound like a very good situation. In tha moment, Zeke felt sorry for the man. In a lot of cases he only looked out for number one, but in the case of a coma fallen ally which he had never known personally, he was definitely feeling sorry for him.
"I'm really sorry about Mike. I really hope he pulls through." Zeke said sincerely. Boy, life was short wasn't it? It was things like this that really brought life back into perspective. Life is but a vapor Zeke remembered the Bible said. It is like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Life was certainly short, and Beth's death and everything else that had been happening recently had brought him to that conclusion.
"Is there anything anyone can do? I mean, there has to be someone in this world who can bring this guy back... there has to be some sort of healing. I mean, I can shoot sulfur from my fingers for Pete's sake! There has to be someone with this ability."
Zeke stood and walked to the glass, now visibly upset. He was starting to feel a little more than pity now. He was working himself up into empathy. Probably not good for him, but in a lot of different ways this was the true Zeke. He watched the X-Men down below dodging in and out of robots, most currently oblivious that another mutant co-worker was lying in a bed only a few hundred feet away, dying in a coma. Then there were those who did know, and they were easy to spot too...
"Is there something to be done? Can a mutant with some sort of ability possibly be found to heal him?" Zeke asked emotionally.
OOC: Did that RPer that played Cassiel leave MRO for good?

Raphael brought his head to bear against a robots, testing whose was strongest, and the end result left him slightly dizzy, but the victory of the contest as the robot crumpled to the ground. He glanced around a moment to see the other X-Men working, and used the same moment to clear his head. The robots were getting tougher, though no one seemed to be having any difficulty just yet. He suspected that it was nothing more than a matter of time before they did get hard, and the group would be almost forced into acting together.
For now he simply delighted in putting to use his body in a destructive manner. Something he had not been able to do since his return from the facility. He had spent much of his time in a self-imposed rehabilitation routine; building his stamina, strength, and agility back to their former levels all the while coping with the weight that had been added to his frame. The result had been phenomenal, as he was displaying with every punch he threw dented, smashed, or completely rendered a fresh robot useless. He tipped his head one way as Daria zipped through what seemed to him a near berserk rage, something he gave a small sigh to.
Though the pause he gave himself lasted almost too long, a near miss of a robot’s laser brought him jarringly back to the present as he heard Wire’s shout. Raphael gave a nod as he turned his head to fixate on Wire and Fade, then made the short sprint to cover, taking his heels out of harm’s way at least temporarily.
“Whatcha got on your mind?” He asked the huddling pair as he took the moment to catch his breath, a thing that literally only took a moment. Such were the wonders of having the healing capability that he did.
Deathstar walks in the viewing area of the danger room, she walks pass Glare purposely not acknowledging his presence and walks near the glass looking in, she turns her head towards Tricity, Don't mean to barge in here, but I had to have a peek of X-men in action....I want to see what I will be working with in the future she turns back looking at the viewing glass, watching the X-men and Fade....battle it out... Tricity!!!....let me ask you somethin!!...is there a reason for this all of the sudden training?, is something about to happen?? she asks tricity while she still looks out at the X-men battling...
she giggles to herself, Fade look out!!.....You lucky Raph is in there to save you once again!.. she says softly to herself quietly under her breathe...she shrugs and let out a soft sigh as she continues to look on.....
After hearing Deathstar talk so much about the Danger Room Darius just had to check it out for himself so he started by asking around a number of different of students which all pointed him in different directions but eventually he found himself on the bottom floors of the Institute walking down a long metalic corridor. It's got be close now he thought as he felt the coldness of the metal chill him slightly. Then he heard the voice of Deathstar yelling something loudly at Tricity the Headmistress.
Ha I'd never find anything around here if it wasn't for her and that voice of hers he thought laughing to himself before seeing the door to the viewing room about to close Darius managed to slip in just before it did. "Hey Star" he said while heading over to stand next to her. The sight below was almost awe inspiring, The X-men!, the ones he had heard so much about, his heros where all there in the room next to them. "Wow look at them all I'd never had dreamed of seeing them all training together like this" he said smiling at Deathstar as he leant on the railing trying to see as much as possible.
