The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Fade was taken by surprise as she was ripped from the wall to the ground by a fellow X-Man. She looked up at where she was originally to find that it was a target and Wire had, in fact, saved her from being...well, temporarily out of the training session. "Thanks she smirked before she rose to her feet. Wire then asked what Raph's name was but before she could help his memory, he remembered and called for him.
As soon as Raph came over, Fade felt much safer than before. Not only was Raph there and she knew that he would never let anything happen to her, but Wire had saved her life before and she was forever in debt to him. Now these two great X-Men stood next to her and she felt inferior but glad that they were all on the same team.
"Yes, what is our plan? We're gonna have to have diversions. The ones that distract the robots and the ones that could easily rip them apart. Or something even more simplistic?" She asked before she saw another lazer being pointed at her. She ducked just in time and quickly threw herself on the wall before throwing herself from the wall right onto the robot and ripping out his wiring too. She took one step forward again and was once again in the huddle, waiting for another's imput.
(OOC: That OOC Raph was talking about was referring to Cass. He'll be back...eventually lol)
Tricity gave a hard swallow as Zeke questioned Mike's condition. "Believe, me...we are looking into every possibility. Sometimes it just takes the patient to want to come back before any magic of mutation can help them. Prayer and patience is all we have now." Just as Tricity said that, Deathstar barged into the room and immediately walked to the window to have a see at the training session. Tricity's mouth fell open to say something when not a moment after, the new resident, Darius walked in.
She smiled and sighed. "Ya know, technically you aren't supposed to be watching this. We like to have a private session so there is full concentration both upstairs and down...but, as long as you keep relatively quiet," she started, mostly looking at Deathstar, "you guys can stay. Pull up a leather chair. Oh, and no Deathstar, there isn't anything about to happen. At least, we don't think so. Unfortunately there aren't any mutants in the school that can predict such a coming."
Tricity continued on with her notes until her watch began beeping to indicate it was time to turn the level higher. This meant more robots, much faster, and more difficult to destroy. Tricity pulled the God mic toward her. "X-Men, the program is going to level 4 now. You'll need decisive teamwork and a strategy. I'd like to try real danger mode in the city streets simulation too. It will turn on itself once a certain number of robots have been defeated."
As Deathstar relunctantly sat in th chair next to her, she looked down at her belly, trying to guess how many months was she, I know your not planning on going the field with a baby on the way, lat me ask you this!!..who is the second in command??.. she asks tricity while leaning back on her chair putting her feet on some piesce of equipment.....she looks back out at the viewing glass.. how far up are you planning on taking this thing, looks like some people can't handle themselves out there!! she grins as she was obviously talkin about fade.......
Raphael opened his mouth to say something. If Wire was not going to give them orders as the senior member of their little trio, he might as well step up to the plate. Raphael snapped his mouth closed as Tricity came over the loud speaker. He thought Fade was on the right track as far as duties rather than a formulated plan. He took the reprieve from speaking as an opportunity to think through what he was about to suggest.
As Tricity’s voice faded from the room he looked between the other mutants crouched behind cover with him. “I think you’re right Jenny,” he stated. “Since this sim is about taking down these robots as effectively as possible, and not taking out a generator of some sorts… I think we aughta take on ‘jobs’.”
Raphael pointed a finger at Fade. “You’re our scout, quick and stealthy. I want you somewhere high and away from the action, but still in calling distance. You need to warn Wire… it is Wire, right? Nevermind… You need to warn us if something comes up that we don’t notice. Got it?” He said in an order tone, something not to be questioned, or second guessed. He knew Fade wanted to be in the combat, but also figured her for a stealth job. He also did not want her anywhere near some action that might get her hurt.
“Wire, you and I are gonna take these things together. If your threads for some reason don’t drop one, lemme know. And damned right quick at that, I’ll be back over here in a split,” he said. “I’ll do the same; let’s watch each other’s backs here.”
Raphael gave a nod and a gesture towards Fade as to say ‘go on and hide thyself’, and then set into the robot to round their private corner. He drove a metal-laced fist into the thing’s ‘throat’, and followed through with a hook to either ‘temple’, each hard enough to break essential circuits and send the thing crashing down. If he could help it, he was going to avoid using his blades for this battle.
Tricity gave a sly smile to Deathstar. "No, I don't go into the field much since I'm about ready to pop this baby out. I'm here more for guidance...since our second in command," she looked over at Deathstar, "Cassiel, is rather incapable at the moment. For now, Daria has now become the second in command. And don't you worry about who can handle themselves down there, Missy."
Dominic gave a nod to Raphael's plan, thinking that using Fade in that way would be perfect. He gave a wave to Orion and explained the situation and plan just the same. In a minute, he realized there team was comprised of mostly agile and quick women compared to the more rough approach the men had. They were all about immediate confrontation where they would just beat the hell out of their opponents.
He wrapped his wires around one of the last robots and watched it drop to the ground in a shower of sparks. The sudden sound of the simulation stopped and the Danger Room program began to change. The group had suddenly appeared in an obvious New York City street. Wire had never done this simulation before because they were so few in X-Men after the first destruction of the mansion. He wondered what would happen next.
Deathstar looks at tricity's belly, listening to what she was saying, Cassiel??....never seen or heard from her or him,..umm!!... Don't tell anybody but I think that guy right there should be second in command.. she points to wire as she was talking... he seem as if he can handle himself in any situation, but let me ask you something if you don't mind me asking, who's the daddy??.... she asks Tricity as she fooled around with the buttons on the tech desk....
"Um, don't touch that..." she quickly said, shaking her head at Deathstar. "Orion is the father." Tricity looked down below as Orion continued his fighting with the X-Men. She knew Deathstar had no idea who he was, so she nodded down to Orion in the training session.
A scout? That was it? It was Fade's moment to show what she had and she was suppose to warn them? What was that about? However, she could tell not to argue back and she snorted a simple "Fine." Before disappearing.
The danger room went to the streets of New York and she climbed up a building, angry because she was just going to look out for the others. So she huffed up the wall and watched. Then she saw a robot, approaching Wire, and fast. He was busy with another and just as Fade was going to shout out for Wire, she got a better idea. She kicked a nearby window, shattered the glass, of course, she did not hurt herself, then grabbed one of the glass pieces, a fairly large one at that, and sent it hurling towards the robot. It hit him square in the torso and sent him up in sparks.
With a triumphant smirk, she adverted her attention to another robot before attempting to throw another piece of glass, it did not hit it, but it confused it as the robot began to calculate where the piece of glass came from, leaving a window for it to be attacked.
Raphael shivered a little as the setting changed and suddenly they were in a New York alleyway. He moved and took up a position guarding around a corner, dipping or dodging underneath a laser blast as a robot rounded the corner and responding to the attacks with crunch punches and kicks.
He dropped the third robot to round the corner and heard the sound of shattering glass. He turned about and found a robot with a significant shard of glass imbedded in its chest and emitting sparks. He cast a glance skyward, centering his gaze, for only a moment, on the only shattered window. When he had told Fade to scout and keep an eye on their backs, this was not what he had intended.
But, nonetheless, it worked. He dropped his eyes to the distracted robot and set to attacking it, kicking both of its knees out and quickly wrapping his arm around its head and wrenching hard to the left and right for a moment before plucking the head of the robot off and letting it clunk to the ground beside him in a shower of sparks. He immediately abandoned the hulk and returned to his station.

"Interesting stuff." Zeke spoke randomly to himself, and watched the X-Men jumping in and out of the streets, attacking robot after robot. There was certainly a lot of carnage here... but this was nothing new to Ezekiel. He had grown up around carnage after all. That was half the fun of watching this session.
Suddenly, a slight ring on his phone alerted Zeke that something was wrong. No one usually called at this time of day. Strange... plus he had left that message for no one to bother him. I guess I need to go figure this out...
"Excuse me, I have to take this..." he said to Tricity and the others, standing, and then walking out of the room into the hallway outside of the Danger Room. He drew the cell phone from his pocket and stared, then flipped it open.
"What's up Felixar?"
"Code Yellow sir. The Influxor sent me a signal, and I thought it best to alert you sir."
Zeke shifted on his feet and stared into the phone gawking. This was the first time the Influxor had responded to anything. This was certainly the first. Strange that it would happen now. Of all times and places, the Influxor was going off now? "So what's up? What's it telling you?"
The computer phone hummed back, "Looks like a security breach sir. Someone's coming."
Zeke was concerned now, "Who... and where is he goi--"
Before you could get out the final words, a sharp pain pierced his skull. He had time to let out a loud cry of pain before crumbling to the floor in a heap. The world went dark. He had been knocked out.
Wire ducked under a car as one of the robots shot its lazer. He was lucky enough to just see the red beam hit his shoulder before it was able to fire at him. The sound of it loading for the hit made him spring into action. The lazer hit the four door car and smashed the roof inward, making the car shake. Wire rolled back out from under the car and quickly ducked between two buildings. As he peeked around the corner, Dominic saw Orion pick up a robot by the neck and smash it into the ground. 'That guy is such a beast,' he thought with a smile and touched his fingertips together, then pulled them apart to reveal the silver strings. Just as the robot who was persuing him came around the corner, Dominic wrapped the wires around its neck and yanked its head off.
There was a loud stomping noise that made Wire shield his eyes from the simulated sunshine to see what was coming down the street. Another stomp made him swagger for a moment before gaining his balance. Whatever was coming was huge and he thought he had a pretty good idea of what it was. As the gigantic, unknown thing blocked the sun from Wire's face, he could make out the shape of a sentinel. The same resounding step of another sentinel made Dominic turn around where he saw a second one coming from the opposite end of the long, New York City block. 'Well damn, Tricity!'
Tricity sat in the observation room, watching the X-Men deal with their new obstacle of sentinels. She knew Zeke would probably want to see this, but he hadn't come back yet from his phone call. 'Hope everything is ok. He seemed pretty surprised to be getting a phone call...' Just as she thought that, the radio on her hip sounded off. She clicked the button to receive the transmission. "John, I'm a little busy at the moment. We're in the middle of an X-Men training sess..."
"Miss Tipper, Zeke is lying on the floor outside the Danger Room!!" the teenager's voice sounded over the radio. "Aaaand I don't think he's moving."
Tricity immediately left her seat and hurried to the door. She mentally used her power which caused the electronic door to go up. Just outside the door, Zeke lay on the ground and was seemingly unconscious. Tricity bent down and turned the man over to his back. She picked his head up and cradled it to see any signs of trauma. Some of the others who had been watching the Danger Room exercise had peeked their heads out of the doorway from curiousity. "Someone go get the Doc Prof! Hurry!!"

An image flashed through Ezekiel White's mind. Then, it came back around and flashed again. A third time it came, but this time it stuck. Glued to his mind. Perhaps it wasn't just an image? Perhaps this was real.
He was standing in the middle of a large desert. Nothing but white sand for miles around... with no trees or vegatation or water to be seen. Nothing but a blackened sky and white sand. He peered around and the nearby sand and found it was level with his own, but in the distance the sand rolled up and down in high and low dunes. It was a hilly desert so to speak.
Suddenly an airy and deep voice sounded behind him. It was loud and commanding yet soft and humble. "Ezekiel." It said his name and stopped there. Zeke spun around and found himself face to face with Beth. There she was... or rather here she was. Standing before him... alive! She was in a long and flowing white lace dress, and had on a golden belt with a silver buckle off to the side. She looked stunning. Her hair was now blonde and glistened in the moonlight, if there was any moon in this place...
"Beth..."
"Ezekiel..."
Zeke ran forward and embraced her, and she welcomed him with open arms. The two stayed that way for a long time, and then finally Beth pulled away. "Ezekiel. You're dreaming again."
Zeke stared at her. Then he looked around. It all felt so real... how could he be dreaming? This had to be real... didn't it? But no, she said he was dream... and Nightdream was usually right about those situations. He didn't want it to be a dream though. He wanted her to be real and here.
"Ezekiel, look at me."
He looked up at her and she continued, "You love Severity... I know. I am happy for you both. But there is danger Zeke. You are not the one perhaps to stop it, but you are the one to whom the information will be given."
"I don't understand." Zeke stammered back.
"Zeke, there are two things at work here. Your own path, and those of the mutants. There is a young mutant named Haywire, and the headmistress may not know of her yet. Report that this mutant's situation muts be looked into immediately."
"Haywire?"
"Zeke, the second thing. Your path. There is one who seeks your life. You know what I speak of. You wouldn't have placed the Influxor if you hadn't felt such danger approaching. He will come for you Zeke. He will come and do horrible things. And you will be given the option of whether or not to chase. It is your decision Zeke, I only forewarn you that the decision to chase will cost you your life."
"I don't understand."
"You will Zeke... in due time. Goodbye now."
Within a second the image had faded to black with a loud whirring sound in the background like a soundtrack of Myst.
A shooting pain rushed up his spine and entered his skull. He found his vision restoring and saw that he was laying in the hallways of the mansion. Surrounded by several mutants and Tricity. A voice sounded down the hall. "Oh my gosh... Zeke... not again." The DocProf.
Zeke struggled from the ground and stood to his feet. He found the cell phone in his hand and replaced it in his pocket. The Doc was looking him over already, and the pain in his head was annoying, but there were more pressing matters. He turned to Tricity, "I've dreamed again. This time she tells me there is mutant you need to know about. She's named Haywire. I don't know anymore... I was just told to tell you to look into her."
He fell back into the Doc's arms and let the Doc check him over. After a minute or so, the DocProf found that he had been hit over the head with some blunt weapon, and that there was no long lasting damage or trauma. Just a painful gash and perhaps a concussion. But it wasn't a concussion, it was Zeke's dream.
"I'm fine Doc, thanks." He said, struggling free of the man's grasp. "There's a person on this property that shouldn't be here. He obviously attacked me. He got past the security system somehow. I came out to take a call, and he hit me from behind. My call actually was a message alerting me that someone had snuck into the mansion without authorization. One of my systems told me that, and I was just about to check it out before I got hit..."
OOC: Figured that was as good a way as any to get the X-Men involved in the new plot. I didn't know if there was a plan in place so I threw that in there. If there already is a plan to get the X-Men involved, let me know and I'll take it from this post.
Raphael shifted and brought his heel around and crunched into a robot and brought it down. He had noticed that the robot attacks were getting less and less frequent, though he was beginning to notice a disturbing trend in ground tremors. He had felt such a force before, during the closing chapter of the Whitmore attack.
He glanced around, sighting in the other members of the X-Men team. He locked his gaze on Wire, figuring him to be the most sensible of those on the field, and made his way across the street. Dipping and dodging around lasers blasts from the smaller robots he took cover near his comrade.
“Are those what I think they are?” He asked, dipping his head as a robot sighted him in. “Sentinels?”
He did not even bother waiting for a response before tossing out his next question. Something he thought was more important, especially since he did not know the best way to go about taking out a sentinel. “What’s the plan?”
