Character
Personality: Faye is a gossip, pure and simple. She loves to find out other peoples secrets and spread them around for the attention. She enjoys the drama that she can create with the simple act of re-telling a secret or two.
Hobbies/ Interests: Faye enjoys Swimming and Jogging as well as hanging out at the mall and reading blogs online and tweeting. A keen drama-queen Faye was often a regular in the school play. Faye also smokes.
Job or part time job and description: She used to babysit for the 7yr old Tyler Masons back home.
Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Due to her sensitivity with sound Faye has a phobia of fireworks and other sudden loud noises. She also finds it hard to sleep without her Bose headphones. Faye often fears that no-one is paying her any attention.

Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Faye can be a bit self-centred at times but will do the right thing 90% of the time.
Mutations:
Eidetic Auditory Mimicry Faye is able store voices that she hears.
Strengths:
• Faye has an eidetic memory when it comes to voices, including her own.
• She can repeat voices (And only voices) that she has heard vocally. Weaknesses:
• Faye can only repeat voices (not sounds) and she can only repeat it in the tone that she originally heard it in.
• Faye remembers every word that she hears; people don’t often like their secrets known…
Enhanced hearing Faye has a heightened sense of hearing and is able to focus in on one specific sound.
Strengths:
• Faye’s hearing is 4x more powerful than normal humans allowing her to hear a whisper 100m away.
• If she concentrates she can ‘zoom in’ and pick one sound out from many.
Weaknesses:
• Due to her enhanced hearing Faye takes more damage from sonic or sound based attacks.
• She can still only hear in the human range of frequencies.
• When ‘zoomed in’ the one sound she is concentrating on becomes louder than all the others, including nearby sounds, allowing people to sneak up on her.
• If spending over an hour in a noisy crowd or upon hearing a sudden loud noise the she wasn’t prepared for Faye suffers from Tinnitus (A ringing of the ears).
• Faye has trouble sleeping due to her enhanced hearing and so relies on a set of Bose noise cancelation headphones to get night of uninterrupted sleep.

Explanation: If she had too she would slap you silly. Pros for fighting style: No-one likes a slap. Cons for fighting style: Slapping people isn’t that effective.
Faction Allegiance: None. She was a girl scout when she was younger does that count for anything?
History of Your Character: Faye grew up as an only child in Hawthorne, Wisconsin, with her mother Pam and her dad Brian. She was quite popular in school as she always knew the latest gossip and bartered that for popularity. She has had only one boyfriend and he broke it off because she wanted to take it slow so she finds herself shy around boys she likes.
Faye found her powers on the fourth of July 2009 while watching a fireworks display. The repeated loud bangs caused her ears drums to split and she passed out from the pain to awaken in a hospital, her ears swathed in bandages and white noise machine on in the corner. A few days later she was discharged from hospital; her healed and heightened sense of hearing going unnoticed.
With her new enhanced hearing it took Faye many months to reintegrate back into the community as sudden loud noises would cause her terrible headaches. Faye’s dad bought her a pair of noise cancelling headphones to help her sleep at night and she has taken to carrying them around with her at all times in case of loud noises. While revising for her end of year exams with friends Faye found her memory had greatly improved to the point where she was able to re-recite any spoken information. Using this to her advantage she found that with a little work she was able to recall a large amount of information from simply reading her text books aloud.
Acing her tests, well accept for Maths but no-one is perfect, Faye revelled in her new found pseudo-intelligence; to her it was just another feather in her cap to show off about. However the more obvious side of her power soon reared its head while Faye was being told off for bullying another student she started to repeat the teachers words straight to her; pitch, tone and accent. It was the start of a long decline in popularity as she started repeating her friend’s secrets, mocking them with their own voices and one by one her loyal cohorts drifted away. Noticed by the schools nurse she sent Faye to the doctors and one test later the full extent of the person she had become was revealed to her.

Sample RP: They three of them sat in the waiting room, Faye and her parents waiting for the so called mutant specialist to call them in. Her mother sat between Faye and her father who was reading those awful magazines they congregated in hospital s.
“I need a cigarette” Faye said; A statement of fact more than asking for permission. “Just wait,” her mother said “Were next”.
Sighing Faye scratched her wrist and looked at the doctors door not knowing what that one test, that one blood test might mean for the rest of her life. The clock ticked onwards, its marching hands sounding the death knell of her humanity. She knew what she was, she’d known for month’s truth be told. This test wasn’t for her but for her parents. They needed to know, they needed to make sure. She knew she was a mutant, No normal person could hear both ends of the receptionists’ telephone conversation from across the room. No normal person would be able to recite it back word perfect either.
The clock ticked onwards, the doctor was running late it would seem and the clock was getting on her nerves. It was like it was deliberately dragging this out. She sighed and concentrated on her hearing; turning it inwards focussing it on her breathing till each exhale roared like a wave breaking on a beach. She knew what she was going to do, she’d known for months. She had found school in New York that catered for people like her; she laughed causing her father to look up from what he was reading, Faye had never seen another mutant before let alone talked to one and now she had decided to go to a school full of them. Sure she’d seen them on CNN, fighting each other, these so called X-men and their kind. Her kind she corrected herself; your not human anymore remember, but that couldn’t be all there was to them surely. There must be more to them, more to herself.
