MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

I think I'll stay freelance working for anyone that pays until I get into the Xs, but if anyone wants company on a patrol cafas will likely be on site to drop into your thread for mischief and cookies... I mean for serious guard duty >>

Twyla is going to be responding to the whole 'OMG Henri got kidnapped' thing with some volunteering for guard duty (if that's okay) and otherwise getting her nose in as much stuff as I can feasibly get her into.

Jaxon, in the midst of her little 'Who am I, what is my purpose' issue could (And I would love to have her do this) be part of the team dispersing the drug to the humans illegally. With a little convincing (handwave or rp) it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for her to start doing that in order to 'help' mutants by making humans see what it is like to be a mutant. Plus, it gives her some power over her human junkies that she lost. *grins at the amount of fun that could be had*

Nope, you can just leave them unmarked, like normal threads.
We just do the weird markings for plots that are outside of the main story line/need some kind of disclaimer to avoid confusion; FP (Future Plot) was outside the "current events" storyline, and FF (Freaky Friday) was... really confusing, if you didn't know a particular thread was part of the plot.

Assuming drug plot might eventually end up with attribute points being awarded, is that something the mods would keep track of then? Or will individual players need to keep track of it for their own characters?

Lori or myself are likely to start a thread archive for the Drug Plot, but that's something we'd be doing as interested players, not as Mods ('tis not an official Mod task). As such: make sure to keep track of your own threads, and tell us if the archive we make is missing anything.

As of June 1, 2010 IC and OOC time, you may mention humans affected by this drug. Influence will start out slow because the drug is not officially distributed at this point. It is only being tested. Official distribution threads will start in the third stage.
I'll just wait and see what other opportunities there are.
