The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

*Delphi pauses looking stumped . . . *huh** What? Huh! I mean when did I say you were a faliure as a father?! I don't even think that, you're great with our kids, really. Why would I ever say that? *Del asks stumped and starting to feel badly.*
Siren mimics Delphi's voice using his powers, which means it comes out slightly musically, which just adds to the slight mocking. " I love you but I will not put my children in danger." He frowns. "Which, you'll have to forgive me, translates to 'You pathetic man, you can't even be trusted with the safety of your own children. In short- You failure."
No it means I love you but when it comes to you and Gorgon. . . *Delphi sighs she needs Siren to understand this.* Siren you love Gorgon and kinda have a weakness in your need to protect her. I can understand that, I can even respect it but, let me put it this way I trust you in every way with our kids except with her. You won't mean to get them hurt, she probably won't even mean to hurt them but I don't trust her!
"Again with the-!" he throws his hands up in the air. "Let me try to explain this again. In a contest between Her and the kids, the kids will win out every time. I understand how dangerous she is. More than you. So you telling me that I will allow her to hurt them- which is hurtful to me on so many levels- is paramount to you calling me an idiot parent." He is keeping his voice level, but he's realtively upset.
*Delphi takes a few deep breaths, calls to mind the times she has seen Siren incapable of protecting him self from Gorgon. Ok fine maybe he'd sacrafice him self for them-no he would.* Ok, I do not see you as a failure as a father, I believe you would do anything in your power to protect our kids. I am sorry I don't think you are and idiot parent.
Siren looks at her sideways. The music in the room is rather sour to his ears, which says to him things have still not resolved. ".... And do you mean that, or are you just saying it because it's what I want t hear?"
I understand you wouldn't hurt our kids, I've appoligized, I do mean it. But this has been a big argument and reaching the end doesn't make it all better. *Delphi points out not getting too emotional.*
"You're right. It doesn't." He says, taking off his glasses and rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Not in the slightest. But for what it's worth, I appreciate your appology, and accept it."
*Delphi finishes up feeding Aria and deposits her and then Apollo into their play pen. She cleans up lunch and cleans the dishes standing up over by the sink. She finally pauses and asks Siren,* So where does this leave us?
That is a pretty accurate discription of the situation. I still love you too but the past few weeks have definatly proven we are very adept at hurting eachother. *Delphi says getting right to the heart of the dilema.*
Probably not a bad idea, but we are pretty much going to end up staring all over again then huh? *Delphi asks, not sure how she feels about starting over, but she is more than willing to give it a try if there is even a small chance of getting back to where they were.*
