*Delphi hands him a try with everything he could possibly need on it, including directions to where in the freezer the ice packs are in case he needs them for his head.* Ok, here is everything you can need they are good till one. I'll be back by four thirty. *Del says grabbing her stuff and wrapping up for the cold outside. *She pauses at the door and gives them a once over, "everything will be fine' she reassures herself.*
*The week progresses pretty much in the same manner till Thursday evening. Del's later class was cancelled and she stayed home for lunch. Which has so far had very little conversation at all.*
Siren has been taking one of the Xavier-cars to work, so he's not been as that night, but he's still been drinking a bit more than he normally would, but no more hangovers.
He sits quietly, sipping his tea, feeding one of the girls.
*Dephi has Apollo in her arms and Aria is on the floor rolling about. She seems to be the best with the movement. Del is getting really tired of the awkard silences, she needs conversation outside of school and are the babies feed, tired, or cranky.* Siren?
*Delphi gives it a long pause and sigh and finally says,* Ok the silence is driving me crazy, can we talk about this . . . please? *She asks very tentativly.
"My Darling Delphi," He sets Harmony down to roll around with Aria, and the two of them gurggle happily, "You are the one who has refused to talk about this. But regardless- of course we can."
Wait one minute, last time we 'talked' we ended up yelling. I made us stop yelling and tensions were high. *Del points out, not yelling but a little put off.*
"You ended that conversation, as I recall, by leaving the appartment. I assumed that as you ended our last attempt at a discussion, you would let me know when you were ready to talk again."
Did you seariously think that after the yelling we were going to calm down and have a reasonable conversation?-You know what if we keep this up we will just end up right back at the yelling stage and we need to talk. Since I intrupted last time by all means go ahead. *Del says not in a gracious voice but she isn't yelling, so props to her.*
I'm sorry for fighting, I really am and I shouldn't have been so blunt but Siren, I can't say I'm sorry for not trusting Gorgon. *Delphi says honestly.*
Siren shakes his head. "You're not listening. Yes, I'm not exactly thrilled over your personal standing with Gorgon, but I'm not disputing it. What I would like you to appologize for is calling me a failure as a father."
