The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It seemed that coffee was effective for Brian. That was good, in some ways. Henrietta would either need caffeine or naturally be a hyper-weirdo. It was one of her many charming qualities. She didn't need anything to make her silly or awake, depending on the day. It mostly depended on how she woke up in the morning. If it was a natural wake up, Henri would most likely be hyper all on her own. Waking up when she wasn't ready, well, that was a different story.
The girl thought it made sense that the boy who could do almost anything in dreams, was sleepy. It was probably more normal for him than his awake life. After all, if one thing felt more comfortable, wouldn't you do that more? If sleeping and sleep-related things made him comfortable, one could only expect him to want to sleep more than be up and about. Henri smirked when he said he would be like a zombie. "We wouldn't want that. Zombies can become a serious problem if they're left to roam around, right?"
He chuckled amused as he finished his cup. "Well indeed even tough in my case it would be more sleep walking then roaming." He actually briefly wondered if he would be able to do that because what he did wasn't exactly normal dreaming aether. Shrugging the thoughts away he focused back on the girl.
He suddenly put his hands in his pockets obviously looking for something until he pulled out a small notebook that he carried along. He had written several memo's to himself on it so he couldn't forget those things if he was too sleepy but they where written in his native language. Finding a page that was empty he rips it out before looking at her. "Well before i forget it here is something where you can write the address of that mansion on. If i get things sorted out ill probably take a cab and drop by." He also fetches something to write out of his pockets that he gives to the girl after noting down another memo to himself that he should check that place out.
The boy handed Henrietta a piece of notebook paper to write down the Mansion's address on. She took it and a pen and jotted it down the location down. Setting the page on the table, she slid it back across to the boy and smiled at him. "It's definitely a good place. I'm sure you would get settled and make tons of friends." She paused. "It's a good place for that. Making friends, I mean." The brunette should know. Back home wasn't exactly where she had a lot of friends, but now she had quite a few. Good old New York City, home of mutant friend-making.
Henrietta drank about half of what was left in her cup and then sat it back down. She glanced at the counter and the girl behind it saw and walked over. "Um, do you need more coffee, Miss?" Henri smiled and held the cup out to the waitress. "Yes please. I guess I'm thirsty today." The girl walked off to the back to fill up her coffee. While she waited, Henrietta passed the pen back to Brian. "Sorry, I almost forgot to give it back. I guess I'm a pen clepto." She gave a joking smirk and set the pen down next to the boy's notebook paper.
Smiling he nodded at her Remarque. "Yeah i don't doubt that i will get settled in, i guess i just need to find the place where i belong tough. Going to live somewhere is easy but feeling yourself at home however that's more of a challenge." Smiling he picks up the paper and neatly folds it before he slides it back in his notebook.
Smiling he accepted the pen back too and slid it in one of his pockets again. "Don't worry about that , there are a lot of people who tend to do that. You would be surprised what a collection of pen's i had back at home just because i forgot to give it back. " He smiles showing the notebook before putting it away. "If your so sleepy most of the times as me you have to take note of what you do. I write small memo's down so i don't forget the most important things."
Brian made a good point. It was much easier to move somewhere than to adjust to it. Of course, that made a lot of sense. Just because you could take a bus to a place, that wouldn't necessarily be your home, right? Henrietta shook her head to bring herself out of her thoughts. "Anyway, it was nice to meet you." The girl glanced at a clock and stood up. "I think I should be going though. Thanks for helping me up and around." She set a tip on the table and then began to walk to the door. Before she walked out, Henri turned and smiled. "Hope to see you around the Mansion sometime. Again, thank you."
He smiled paying for his own coffee too before walking out whit the girl. "Oh really no need to thank me, i couldn't let you sit there in that park now could i." Smiling amused he turned to her on the street nodding as she said goodbye. "Yeah it has been a pleasure meeting you too Henrietta and I'm sure that we will run across each other once again. Just hopefully whit a little less falling from your part." Grinning he waved one last time as he walked of himself too while his thoughts went back to the address she gave him. He was sure he would pay that place a visit soon and perhaps he would indeed meet her again. Smiling he headed back to his temporary apartment to make sure everything was in order for when he eventually decided what he would do now and whit his hands on that address it would probably not take long for him to decide.
((Ok sounds good. Thanks again for the thread ;D))
