The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It had been a while since she'd walked through those massive Golden doors. Lenna spoke to Lisa the secretary, and told her she wished to speak with Mars. Lisa obliged.
Lenna sat down to wait. Why was she at the Order, though? The last time, she'd had a reason. A very 'Michael-trapped-in-a-woman's-body' reason. Today, her reason was different. Her reason was infiltration.
As her first order of business post-Romania, Lenna had decided to pop by the Order and say 'hey'. It was about time for it, wasn't it? Bacchus had spent far long enough behind bars. He was sure to be brooding, and brewing up trouble in there. She had to get to him before he got out again. He was important to her efforts in 'joining' the Order. He was her ticket in.
And so she waited, in the main foyer of the Sanctuary, dressed in blue jeans, boots, and a black leather jacket. After a minute, her hands found a magazine. On two minutes, she ran a hand through her re-dyed and growing-out neck-length brown hair. On four minutes, she put the magazine down.
Mars had arrived.
She looked him in the eye, and spoke. "I'm here to help you break out Bacchus Brickson. You in?"
Mars walked in to the lobby glad to see his favorite adapted, she'd survived Romania and from what he heard blew off Venus with ease. Something that if she kept up would earn infinite points in his book.
~~"I'm here to help you break out Bacchus Brickson. You in?"
Mars let a grin come to his face. “ Well if you are here to help me break him out I suppose I better be. I do think I may see a few others want in as well though.” He glanced at Lisa and received an eye roll.
**Lisa lightly said with a bit of professional sass. “If you want it done quick, Mars I suppose it is only proper that you delegate, who do you want me to contact?”
Mars grabbed a post it and wrote out a short list of people to see if they wanted in or at, counting his brothers among the group. “ I heard you had a knack for strategy, you made an impression on Abyss, You have any plans for this one already? Also would you like to discuss this elsewhere? Though I must say I doubt anything will get out of the lobby to anyone who we wouldn’t want to have it.”
Lisa began to blaze away a message about what was going on and who all would like to be included.
>>“Well if you are here to help me break him out I suppose I better be. I do think I may see a few others want in as well though.” He grinned.
"Cool."
Extra hands were always useful. It looked like Lisa had the 'contacting' thing down. Mars handed the secretary a post-it note with names, and Lenna returned her attention to Big Red.
>>“ I heard you had a knack for strategy, you made an impression on Abyss, You have any plans for this one already? Also would you like to discuss this elsewhere? Though I must say I doubt anything will get out of the lobby to anyone who we wouldn’t want to have it.”
Lenna smiled. "Oh, I've got a plan." She was glad to hear her 'plan-making' reputation preceded her. "The plan involves explosives, and strong men who can move mountains. I already did the research to find out which cell block Bacchus was in, and got us a map." She'd shaken down an old friend for information. It hadn't been difficult to get him to open his mouth. "We set the explosives near the guard stations, and use that distraction to bust in. Also. I was thinking, maybe some mutants in the prison might want to join your cause? If we get a following inside the prison, there isn't much a bunch of human guards can do to stop us. And even if they have adapteds and collars," Lenna shook her head demurely. "My bullets don't need anything beyond good aim."
~~"The plan involves explosives, and strong men who can move mountains. I already did the research to find out which cell block Bacchus was in, and got us a map."
“Strong Men, Check. Knowing where Bacchus is, Check. How are we doing on explosives?” Mars asked as if they were putting together a grocery list.
~~"We set the explosives near the guard stations, and use that distraction to bust in. Also. I was thinking, maybe some mutants in the prison might want to join your cause? If we get a following inside the prison, there isn't much a bunch of human guards can do to stop us. And even if they have adapteds and collars,"
He nodded and smirked at how readily Lenna sided with the mutants, he liked this one. The it was “his” cause and not “our” cause though. Something that he had a mind to rectify once he figured out what it was the woman wanted. Thus far he had kept a careful distance away from the woman before him, no need to make his tailored clothes fit wrong.
~~"My bullets don't need anything beyond good aim."
“ I think I will keep that little tidbit handy for future reference.’ He half joked with Lenna. “I definitely like the Idea of liberating as many of our kind as possible. Even if they don’t join our cause they are a part of it regardless. I like the plan it is flexible and to the point, there are always varibles that we can’t account for, but that is where instinct comes in I suppose .Mercury has a certain flair for blowing things up, if we want to leave it to him, though he might get carried away. “
>>“Strong Men, Check. Knowing where Bacchus is, Check. How are we doing on explosives?”
"I've got a source. He should be able to hook us up with a whole lot of C4." Lenna replied.
>>“ I think I will keep that little tidbit handy for future reference."
Lenna smirked. She listened patiently as he gave his take on things. A flicker of amusement ran through her as she recalled Mercury. She remembered that clone well from Romania. Wasn't he the one that had hit on her? Or, wait. Maybe that was Vain-ous. Okay. Maybe, she didn't have the clones as figured out as she'd thought.
Blowing things up, though. "Let him get carried away. It could be fun."
>>"So, How are things?"
Lenna crossed her arms, and arched an eyebrow. "You tell me. I haven't seen you in a while. How've you been?"
Mars furrowed his brow for a second. “ C4 and we are going to let him get carried away… If we can enter on the opposite side of the prison I am ok with that.”
~~"You tell me. I haven't seen you in a while. How've you been?"
“Wait, what is that supposed to mean? How have I been? I was asking you a simple question….Don’t you.” Mars wagged his finger at the crossed arms and arched eyebrow. “ how’ve you been me!” He then sighed out a breath.
“Good I guess. Notthing big happening in the city at the moment, though it makes me wonder why?”
Lisa wastrying to pretend she wasn’t listening just across the room.
Isabel had been rooting around the kitchen when her phone went off, signaling that she had a new message. Casually she pulled it from her pocket, flipped it open, read the message, and replaced it. Apparently Lisa needed her to report to the foyer immediately. Being ordered around wasn't something she exactly appreciated, but it seemed to be one of the ways that Lisa operated, and it was something she could overlook when it came to her friends. She'd been raiding the kitchen more out of boredom than real hunger anyway.
Closing the door to one of the refrigerators and strolling back out into the corridors, she made her way to the foyer. Despite the interpreted urgency in the received message, she was in no huge hurry. She never had been one to worry about being the first in line to much outside of a new slaughter in the streets.
She sauntered lazily past Lisa's desk, smiling pleasantly at the receptionist in spite of the semi-irritated look she received in return. Turning to see who she'd been summoned for, she paused in her stride. One of the Big Guys was present, though she didn't know exactly which one just yet. She wasn't quite able to identify them by sight, but she could usually make a good guess based on their mannerisms.
The other individual was someone that she didn't know at all, though the young woman seemed to be engaged in a conversation with the red giant. Perhaps they were friends? Picking her pace up again, she moved to place herself closer to the pair. "Nice of you to invite me to the party. Who and what are we crushing today?"
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
>>“ C4 and we are going to let him get carried away… If we can enter on the opposite side of the prison I am ok with that.”
Like she'd said, fun.
"It's workable." Lenna replied.
Then, he asked her some open-ended fishing question. She turned it on him, simple as that.
>>Wait, what is that supposed to mean? How have I been? I was asking you a simple question….Don’t you.”
He made a big show, then finished.
>>“ how’ve you been me!”
A big sigh.
>>“Good I guess. Nothing big happening in the city at the moment, though it makes me wonder why?”
Lenna masked a smirk. "No idea. I've been alright. Nothing too important to note, aside from setting up this." She gestured to the current conversation. "It's my take on a present. You said I was welcome here any time, right? Just wanted to show my thanks. Oh, and slap Bacchus." Her smile vanished, replaced by stark serious-face. "Definitely slap Bacchus."
Lenna paused for a moment as a new figure came into view near Lisa. She tilted her head, and examined the brown-haired woman. She was fairly tall, about 5'10", and not too skinny. Her eye color matched her hair. The woman came over to join them. Lenna put on a smile.
>> "Nice of you to invite me to the party. Who and what are we crushing today?"
There were many, many reasons why Lori liked Lenna. Walking around the corner and hearing that Lenna knew Baucchaus deserved a slap (and wanted to deliver one to him) happened to be one of those reasons.
Isabel was there. Fresh off the otaku's-dream truck and ever faithful to her inquisitive and destructive nature. She asked Lenna what was happening while Lori picked up messages from Lisa. Meeting at Faust Pharms. Overdue bill paid in blood. Oh. A note from Lenna that they were to break Baucchaus Brickson out of prison.
"We're breaking someone out."
"Isn't law enforcement your favorite flavor, Isabel?"
Lori wasn't sure about entirely relying on Lenna's plan. Not that the girl wasn't trustworthy. It was that she wasn't Order. She wasn't family. Not yet. And anything organized by a non-family member was suspect. Hell, even Order plans she wouldn't trust unless she'd help lay them herself.
But then again, she didn't like having to make every decision. Surely some one was responsible and crazy enough to plan a good old fashioned break out?
"Isabel! we are just going to have a nice night out on the town....reeking havock!"
Mars's cell phone went off like a wild bansheee anouncing that they were five for five, all of his brothers were in. well the ones he could count on anyway. this would be rather fun.
"as soon as we are ready to leave and pick up some c4 apparently, the boys are all home and are getting ready to go. Mercury and Venus in particular." He said looking to the respective women in front of him.
"Shall we meet in the garage? and how soon can your contact have the bombs ready?" Mars moved toward the way Lori had come, his tail subtly petting her ankle as he neared the exit.
Isabel smiled pleasantly at the declaration from the unknown young woman that they were aiming to destroy a prison. She always did like playing with cops, and what better way to find them than to cause some trouble in a place they guarded at all hours? The prisoners could be fun, too, if they got in the way. Most likely they'd be too occupied with getting back out onto the street or playing with the cops themselves, though.
The only person she could think of that was in prison was Bane. That blockhead had to have been the only Order member that had been successfully detained by the police for more than a few hours. She'd had her own run-in with the cops and the SWAT team, but she'd managed to wriggle her way out of trouble.
Hearing another familiar voice, she turned to see Lori strolling up to join their little group. If the boss lady was joining in, it was bound to be a good time. "You know it is," she replied, her pleasant smile shifting into a more devilish grin.
She also grinned to Mars in turn. Havoc was far more funthan raiding the kitchen for entertainment. And with the phone sounding off and the mention of C4, it looked like it would be one hell of a party. This was going to be a good time.
"Well, what are we waiting for, then? That prison isn't going to level itself," she commented, following the Big Guy's lead and instruction to head to the garage. Maybe she could find an ill-attended motorcycle or something to wreck while she was at it. They'd need an entry point, after all. If they didn't blow a hole in the wall with some explosives, she could always send the bike through it.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
>>"Isn't law enforcement your favorite flavor, Isabel?"
Lori asked as she flipped through her messages.
>>"You know it is."
The brown-haired woman replied. A smile snuck its devious way back onto Lenna's face as Mars commented on the situation. Night on the town, huh? Oh yes. If C4 was involved, it'd be a blast.
Mars answered his phone, and swung his attention back to the ladies in the room to announce the party was on its way.
>>"Shall we meet in the garage? and how soon can your contact have the bombs ready?"
He asked.
"Sounds good. And soon. He should have the supply ready by the time we swing by his place."
Lenna moved to follow big red from a distance. Everyone was ready and willing. Onto the garage~
They were heading to the garage now and a thought occurred to Lori. A spectacular thought.
"Why don't we take the tank?"
They did not often get to use it, but if all of their reds were coming someone could pitch it right at the prison. "I'd love to give it a whirl. Mars, you up for tossing a tank?" Did she need a helmet if she wanted to ride in side? It might not be a bad idea.
There was something very exciting about the prospect of hurtling through the air. Even more exciting to make a big impact.
Mars tilted his head and smiled, "You want to take it out? Yeah I'd love to, Mercury will still want to stop by for his explosives...I suppose they could meet us there? or are we picking up explosives in a tank? I mean I suppose it is like showing up in a minivan to soccer practice."
They made their way swiftly down the hallways and to the garage where five other Red men stood in various attire and with very similar looks on there faces. except for the one that looked perturbed by who knows what.
"we're taking the tank boyos!" Mars looked at the modernized King Tiger, the thing could go 41 miles per hour but it could do so in a strait line of destruction, there was no way there was anything ready to go in New york to stop this thing aside from a carpet bombing. It had space for five passengers which would more than likely be enough space for the four of them. It was painted black and red with small Order insignia's on the turret.
"make a path for us to get out of here." Mars said to the rest of the guys and they started picking up and moving other vehicles out of the way.
"We get to take the tank?" Isabel chimed in, her grin spreading across her face once more. She couldn't remember the last time she'd gotten to play with the tank. The Order tended to favor the vans for group travel, like the last time they visited the Mansion to help them throw a birthday celebration. She wondered how bumpy the ride would be if she perched somewhere on the outside of the metal beast. Either way it was probably a bad idea, especially if explosives were to be involved. A shame, really.
"I vote stopping on the way," she offered, idly watching the rest of the big guys rearranging the garage to make room for the tank to move out. "Why bother going out in a tank if we don't make a few stops and show off while we're at it? Might as well have some fun on the way." It wasn't like anyone could stop them with any level of ease. And, besides finding Bacchus, this little outing was supposed to be fun. So why not have as much fun as possible?
