The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Kasumi leads Juka and Shana to her room. She smiles as she walks with her hands behind her back. She has not had anyone in her room yet a sleep over does sound fun. Kasumi's long hair moves behind her as she walks. She ends up humming the sailor moon opening. Yes she is a nut but a good nut none the less.
Soon Kasumi gets to her room she opens the door as she walks in. The room is very neat and clean. It is done in a light blue with book salves with a number of books on them almost anything you can think of to read she has a little bit of it.
Her bed set is deep blue with a silver dragon on it. The pillows have a dragon on them with the same deep blue. Above her bed is a dragon painting that she did herself when she was younger. Still she loves it she will never get ride of it.
She has a TV with a PS3 and a Wii with games always games. But her fave's are fighting and RPG's. But there is a few that she does not play like sports and shooting games. She keeps them around for other people to play. On her desk is her lap top and her birthday gifts that she got.
Kasumi smiles "This is home sweet home." She sits down in her puter chair there is a blow up chair and a bean bag on the floor also. But they can sit on her bed if she likes. Like any girl she has make-up on her dresser like the rest of the room it is very neat and clean it seems that everything has it's place here she speaks in a happy voice "Sit anywhere that you like. We can do a few things I have games, books, movies and a few other things to do."
Juka floated silently after Kasumi, feeling conflicted. He couldn't get his dark thoughts out of his head, ever since Aura had done to him what she'd one, but he was posatively touched by the kind actions of both Kasumi and Shana. They had shown him such caring when they hardly even knew him. It was hard to grasp that there could be such evil and such good in the world, both existing side by side. He hoped he was worthy of their kindness.
Juka looked around Kasumi's room, taking everything in. It had character just as she did and, he decided, he liked it. It felt like her and given how good of a person she was, he approved of that fact. "We can do whatever you want to," Juka said with a warm smile in her direction. For once he wasn't showing off or flirting, for once he was being entirely authentic something he rarely did, even with his Jewely.
Juka hovered indecisevely for a moment before floting over and sitting on the bed. Or rather, sitting slightly above the bed since his bubble wouldn't actually allow him to properly sit. It was better than nothing though. "This is such a wonderful thought," he informed both of them, "and I will surely never be able to properly repay you for this kindness."

Things had began to happon quickly and soon the three of them were being guided to Kasumi's room. Shana had never done anything like this before. Juka however neeeded them and she did want to be there for him. Her own idea's of confronting Aura began to become temperd with the thoughts that both what happoned to kasumi and Juka, she tried to see why Aura might think the way she seemed to, but that line of thinking was alien to her.
The room looked nice and looked to be pretty clean from what she could see. Chooseing to sit ont he beanbag she looked around curiously. Her eyes rested on Juka, at least he was benadaged now, she had been suprised the dorctors let him go as easily as they did. true they could not do much for him, but if the bubble popped so to speak, their might be an issue. Still they were in the same building so maybe that was why, or maybe she thought to herself, she was just looking for an excuse to run.
"im sure you being here is more then enough already Juka" she said with a reasuring smile. She took to form however and said nothing at the offer of so many things to do, she figured she would let Sumi pick as Juka opted to let her do so as well. Sumi did seem to have a lot of video games, she would have to see what she had, Shana had a good collection of those herself.

It was late. So late, it could have been deemed 'early' by some. Shin awoke with a start on that late-early sort of morning as the phone rang in his room. A seemingly-drugged hand flopped onto the alarm clock, smacking it off the bedside table in vigorous retort to whatever ringing went on in the Asian lad's head. The clock hit the floor with a 'thwack'. it lay on its side. Batteries hung out like a 'frowning face', yet the ringing didn't stop.
Hazel eyes blinked. Slowly, the light from the bathroom helped his eyes adjust to the darkness. Too slowly, in fact. Shin's hand fumbled with the telephone, brushing over a copy of 'Yotsuba&' and something green and fuzzy. He picked up the receiver.
"Y'ello?" Mushy mushy, was his brain. The voice on the other age was old, cantankerous, and pleading. Shin's eyes widened as 'Doctor Professor' gave him the news. Juka had been wheeled in, injured. Kasumi and Shana had saw him through the pain... but... they hadn't been able to do as much as they'd liked. Now, it seemed Juka was off in Kasumi's room. DocProf told Shin he thought, since Shin was friends with them all, he should show up unannounced to give Juka his sympathies... and spend some time with Juka, to brighten his spirits. 'Maybe, have a root-beer-guzzling contest', DocProf had suggested jokingly. It was times like this when Shin loved the old man's sense of humor.
His hand struck out again to brush against the 'something green and fuzzy' in the dark, closing around it. He lifted the 'squishable something' up in front of his face, and pinned the phone between shoulder and ear.
"Yeah." He replied with a weak smile. "Think I'll do that. Thanks, Doc."
He hung up the phone, and turned the green stuffed 'something' over in his hands. Now was as good a time as any to wander over to Kasumi's room, he supposed. He had a feeling nobody'd be able to sleep on a night like this, anyways. Shin's feet plopped down on carpet, and scuffled over to shoes. They stopped. Shin bent to pull on socks, then left the sneakers where they lay. He walked over to his bed, and grabbed the squishable 'something', and wrapped it 'round his neck. With a yawn, he slipped out the door.
A few minutes later, there came a knocking on the barrier between hallway and Kasumi's room. Shin stood in the low light of the hallway, dressed in baggy gray pajama pants and a white undershirt, unshaven, tired, and with a squishy green frog scarf wrapped around his neck. He knocked once more, and said her name in a hushed tone. "Kasumi. I heard Juka was injured. Can I come in?"

(ooc: That is so cute!)
Kasumi pulls out Mario Party a killer 4 player game for the Wii. Great when guest's come over. Soon she flips on the TV as she smiles nodding "This is a fun game." She soon hands Juka a Wii controller soon she hands Shana the other Wii controller. Kasumi has on in her hand soon a knock comes to the door "Who could that be?" Soon the voice that she knows and loves comes to her ears. Kasumi jumps and leaps to the door and unwilling frog act if you will.
Soon Kasumi opens the door seeing Shin. She lets out a high pitch chirp warping her arms around his shoulders "Always you can come in." Kasumi smiles as she pokes the frog scarf "That is so cute." She lets out a giggle as she leads Shin in. She is so happy that he was here "I was thinking about you.. wow you have ESP or something. Juka and Shana is here also." Kasumi smiles more as she nods. We are having a sleep over "Juka got hurt.. I want to make him feel better. We are getting ready to play Mario Party want to join?"
Ah the sweetness is almost dripping off of Kasumi. One can not help but to feel happy around her. She is just so cute "Oh will you will give me some time I need to change I was working out and all" Kasumi nuzzles Shin giving him a kiss on the cheek.
She soon makes her way to her dresser and pulls out what she needs. Kasumi walks into her bathroom closing the door behind her. In a very short time Kasumi walks out in a dark green tank top with PJ bottoms that has frogs on them. On her feet a frog slippers she smiles "There better." Again the cuteness attacks ah run away run away! Kasumi takes her place by Juka. She holds the last Wii controller out to Shin having her own. Ah the fun of fore player games.
Juka was in the midst of contemplating whether or not he could even play video games while being stuck in his bubble, unsure whether he could partially bubble an object or not, given that a cord would have to exist both inside and outside of his bubble to be useful (never having throught to try) when the door of the room opened and in walked Shin. The feelings that assaulted him were conflicted, to say the least. One the one hand he felt comforted that so many people apparntly cared about his well being, but on the other hand did he really want yet another person to see him in the state he was currently in? Shin didn't seem the type to judge, but how could he really be sure?
"A mutant named Aura tried to kill me for rescuing a human she was trying to kill," Juka stated depressingly. "She almost succeeded."
When Kasumi handed Juka a wireless Wii controller, his video game playing problem was magically solved. He accpted the controller, sending out a tendril and a mini bubble in order to transport it from the outside world into his little caccooning bubble. It had been many hears since he had picked up a controller and played video games, not since he was a child. His parents, being their typical conservative selves, had never approved.
"I'm not very good at video games," Juka stated hesitantly. He waited for the game to start and, despite his apprehensions, felt comforted.

Shana liked video games, she was good at them but rarely had she really played them with others. Most of what she played were one player games. Still she was happy for kasumi when shin wa sat the door, it certainly made Sumi happy. Shin had some starnge thing around his neck that made Kasumi practiocly gush. The Nice thing about the wii and the main reason she ahd never selected one for herself, was that it was a party system and rarely before did she have friends. So their was never a reason to pick up sucha system that relied on groups to sell games.
"the point is just to relax and have fun, being good really is not needed" she responded trying to comfort Juka. She had more fun when doing well herself but as long as it took Juka's mind off of things it would be fine. "What's importent is that she failed though Juka" she said making a smile even as she watched the system turn on. She considerd checking out what she could find on the girl, Aura was dangerous but their had to be reasons for those actions, maybe she could help her with them. Juka's power from the look of it had been aboit all that saved him though, the blade had sunk deep.

He'd expected silent somber. He'd expected candlelit vigils, or hospital bed humor. What Shin hadn't expected was... chirping? Shin flushed as Kasumi shot from point A to point B in a blink, warping her arms around his shoulders. Shin caught her in a hug. His mind drew a blank for a second.
Warm.
He hardly noticed the laughing, or the poking of frog scarves. His mind was still focused on the one leading him into the room. "Y-yeah." Shin replied with a sleepy smile. He was fine with helping Juka through the experience. Fine with video games.
But, more importantly. He snugged Kasumi as she nuzzled him, and planted a kiss on his cheek. "Don't take too long," He watched her exit, then turned distractedly back towards Juka, scratching the back of his neck.
>>"A mutant named Aura tried to kill me for rescuing a human she was trying to kill. She almost succeeded."
The dopey smile vanished quickly, replaced with a far-more-somber nod. "She tried killing Kasumi too. Someone really ought to do something about her... like a firm talking to, or... but, you're okay, right?" He didn't look beyond repair in that bubble, though certainly worse for the wear. Shin pulled up a bean bag chair by Juka, and plopped down onto it. His hands moved up to the scarf around his neck, and unwrapped it. Shin held it out for Juka with a weak smile. "This..." Was supposed to be for Kasumi, Shin thought. "Is for you. A 'get well' gift." Shin said. He hoped Juka liked it. He'd have to get Kasumi something else to snuggle.
