The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

She actually did turn down the tour. That was a first. It was completely understandable when it came to being tired from traveling. He’d been there before after missions and after traveling for long periods of time. There were times when he wouldn’t even work for a few days so that he could catch up on sleep. “That’s fine. The tour is completely optional. If your sure about that then you have your key and the rooms are down the hall and the second corridor to the right.” Streak said giving her some directions. He looked over the paperwork and saw most of it was filled out. “If you have any questions, you know where my office is and I'm always available to help.”
He turned to Alistair, who had been sitting through all their conversation very quietly. “So what do you have in mind with helping out the mansion?” There were some good perks to having a genius on call to help teach the mansions students. Heck even some of the teachers would benefit from having him around every once in a while.

Callie nodded and got to her feet. "I... uhm... thanks." She was sure that she was going to forget his instructions the moment she stepped out of the office, but she didn't dare ask him to repeat them. Stupid, stupd, stupid, she told herself, but still couldn't quite bring herself to do it. "I'll just leave you two to talk then. Bye." She smiled uncertainly at Streak, and then a little less tremulously - but with a lot more blush - at Alistair, and slipped out of the office.

Alistair smiled back at Callie kindly and, he hoped, reassuringly before turning his attention back to Streak. "Well, I guess the shortest answer to that would be 'whatever you need,'" he said and his smile widened. "As long as I get to stay independent and free to turn down suggestions I don't find appropriate there isn't much I'm not willing to do."

"Ya we wont try to tie you down for anything specific. Although I can't say what we'll need you for at the moment." Streak said to Alistair. "Are there any questions about the school that you have, ya know, not related to being a student here?" he asked. There wasn't much for them to discuss. Streak had his information down and would be able to call on him for anything that they needed teaching wise in the future.
Alistair shook his head "I think I know what I need to for the moment, thank you," he said whilst rising from his seat. He extended his hand to Streak with a warm smile, "It's truly been a pleasure. Please don't hesitate to call if you thing you might have need of me."
