The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Syn was dead, and aura responsibility for it was as plain as if she had killed her leader herself. She had failed in one of the few things the order had asked of her, she had been unsuccessful in keeping people out of KP, and now it was a barely standing shattered husk. Aura rage was vast and entirely focussed on herself, so she had begun to wander the streets, taking random directions, her rage had blinded her to the point whare several gang members had actually escaped her with just a few deep wounds, most would live through the night. Bending down, Aura looked through the pockets of the one member she had killed, it had been clean, her blade and struck his heart without touching a bone. The man had nothing but some white powder and a bunch of neediles, which Aura casually threw over her shoulder. Finding Nothing of value, Aura slashed at the dead body again, and again, her blade slicing threw shoulder and rib bones like nothing, Forming a drill, she jammed the hastily made tool into the man Mouth, ripping his teeth out of his head and cutting into his mouth. Forming it back into a blade Aura pulled up hard, slicing through the top of the man's jaw, his nose split as if to make room as the blade finally rested in the man's brain, Pulling the blade out, Aura aloud the mutilated corpse to fall, in one last petty act, Aura slammed a hammer down onto the man's neck, the snapping noise echoed through the alleyway.
Walking away, Aura found a door leading into the building and slipped in, Aura's knee length blue skirt and white tank top, belied her true nature, to the first person she encountered, a minister, who blinked a few times. Still enraged Aura brought a hammer to the side of his head, making the older man tumble down the concrete stairs, he groaned but did not get up when he finally came to rest. Aura sniffed the air and could smell pine, all around her the scent was strong, and Aura soon knew why, despite the stairs, their were trees everywhere here, mostly pine trees. The forest looked famillier to her, still she moved slowly, unsure of the situation and then a face she knew well popped out, Syre. The silvery haired boy, smiled at her again, and softly sighed, taking note of the bright moonlight in the forest, which was a bit abnormal itself. "How dare you live!" Aura screamed and charged Syre looked at her, his face suddenly confused, then his eyes went to horror, as the Axe bit through the middle of the fourteen year old's skull, silking to his jaw bone. He fell over dead and Aura breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, finally she had avenged her Matriarch, the first one anyway.
Then a brown haired boy looking just like Syre came into view, Aura's mind questioned this, but the fact it looked like him was enough, Aura easily ran the kid Down, Her Hammer smashing into the back of the boy's knee, not breaking it but tripping the kid, until he fell before Aura. Her Eyes were distant even as she stared directly at the Kid. "Die Syre! Feel the pain our friends felt!" she screamed as the blade severed the boy's head from his neck. As Aura entered the next room people began to run, apparently having seen what she did, but every one of them looked like syre, they all had different hair and different heights, but still they were him. Were they clones? She asked herself, if so then all this equipment has to be destroyed, the sterile scent of the lab filled her nose, and she formed blades on both hands, forgetting entirely about the forest she had been in just seconds before hand. One of her Blades cut into one of the lab tables which fell to the floor with out much trouble, her Other blade came around, smashing a glass beaker on the table, a coffee pot in reality. Moving she quickly sliced into the cold storage chamber, dragging the blade slowly down the front of it, a screeching noise sounding as she did.
Aura had no idea where she was, or even why she was here, rage, the visions in her mind and self hatred for her own weakness had blinded her to all of this. One thing was clear to her the Lab and the clone Syre's had to die, had to fall, or the Matriarch could never rest and her friends would have died in vain. her hand came up to her head, something was not right about all this, something was off but what as she tried to figure it, out Aura brought the wrath of her Aura upon the Kitchen of the orphanage, in minutes, devastating it. Her head went back and she screamed into the night sky only she could see, not even considering a starry sky, at 4pm and in doors was completely impossible. Brushing a stray hair from her face she advanced on the living room, unable to hear the screams of those still in the house.
The short child like young woman with straight black hair, and slanted green eyes was just starting to feel the buzz from her special coffee drink. The triple shot mint mocha with Carmel, peanuts, chocolate chips, whipped cream, and cinnamon was hitting the spot. Petunia glanced sideways across the street where she was enjoying her drink, where there were a large amount of screams suddenly erupting.
Huhh. Petunia checked her watch where the little date read under the time, around small stickers of rainbow bright, with a Scooby Due head part of another sticker sitting in the palm of ranbow bright's out stretched hand. It wasn't quite close enough to Halloween for haunted houses, that were that good, to be set up yet. So petunia Gardener decided to investigate.
The loopty loop straw stuck in the top of her Styrofoam cup was tucked lightly between her lips as Petunia strolled in. Eyes glancing right left, and flicking up and down as she started making her way inside. She passed the first body, stepping up on the body's rib cage as if it's just a simple stair, and stepping down.
Well that body would have to be taken care of. Petunia pulled up her sleeves where bugs had already started forming in her skin. first as bumps up and down her arms like giant mosquito bites. Then little itchy legs extended through the centers of the bumps and bugs popped out of Petunia's skin like weeds in the smooth mowed grass.
Spiders started climbing down to the ground via petunia's legs and down their own lines of webbing till they reached the floor and scampered over to the first body. Starting to either bite it, or wrap it in a web so the body started to look like a mummy. Herculean Beatles scurried out from under Petunia's pant legs and started shoving the body, rolling it like a rug, behind pix, as she followed the latest screams. "Helllooooooooo."

The radio in the pearl white G6 played some Rush as Sam turned it down and looked to Koga and said, ”Alright, if your going to tag along with me it’s super important you do as I tell you alright, so if there is a robbery or a shoot out, turn invisible and get out of firing range, I taught you enough to know what is and isn’t a sturdy hiding place during a gun fight… and if I tell you to stay in the car you stay in that seat got it?” Sam said more of a command and rhetorical than anything else. After the mission with the commissioner of the city the X-Men’s standing with the police had become fruitful to say the least. No longer where police dying around the clock within the first few days the numbers dwindled to the single digits it wasn’t perfect but it was clear that the Commissioner was getting more and more comfortable calling for help.
Pulling up to a barricade of police cars Sam hopped out of the car and waved Koga to follow him, ”Stay hidden and close until I say other wise got it?” Sam said as he approached the officer in charge of the situation, ”Commissioner sent me, Sam, member of the X-Men…” “Ahh yes! He said you’d be coming, we got a call about ten minutes ago about a woman with a pink glow went into the building and started to a wreck the place.” Sam frowned, ”An orphanage? That’s messed up…” “Expected of your ki…” the man caught himself before he finished and said, “Sorry, still getting used to working with your kind…” Sam blinked at him and then pushed forward, ”Are you keeping the building surrounded?” Sam didn’t give the officer time to respond before he hoped of the barricade and started to approach the building.
”Koga, I think I know who we are dealing with, so you can come with me, but I need you to do something for me… find them, whoever you can and get them into well hidden places, if it’s who I think it is she’ll lose interest if I show up and she can’t find anyone to play with…”
Walking forward not crouching but standing tall Sam headed up the steps of the orphanage, the closer he could get the louder screams of scared little kids and a few adults could be heard, his walk turned into a sprit till he tried opening the main entrance of the building. It was locked he didn’t know why but that wouldn’t due at all. Ice forming around the hinges of the large doors Sam placed his hand on the large wooden handle and gave it a tug causing the door to fall forward.
Jumping back to avoid the falling door Sam spotted a few kids crying and shaking, ”Police are good guys right? There over there!” a few kids scurried out as Sam entered the building his voice loud and hoarse,”AURA!” again he yelled louder hoping if she was nearby she would hear him and come to confront him long enough for Koga to enter and find the kids.
~~“Alright, if your going to tag along with me it’s super important you do as I tell you alright, so if there is a robbery or a shoot out, turn invisible and get out of firing range, I taught you enough to know what is and isn’t a sturdy hiding place during a gun fight… and if I tell you to stay in the car you stay in that seat got it?”
Koga opened his mouth to let the first sarcastic smart Alec reply to fly from his lips like they did the in the danger room. But he wasn’t leading the mission nor were they playing with holograms today. So he didn’t remind Sam that he had indeed been the one to teach him and of course he would follow orders. So he simply proved it with an enthusiastic. “Yessss Sssir!”
He was thrilled with ColdSteel at the moment, not only had he helped Koga get out of Doc Prof’s clutches he had also took him to go on a routine patrol. He wasn’t sure if it was because Sam still wanted him to know he was usefull or what, but he hadn’t even comment on the amputated limb to his left side.
~~ ”Stay hidden and close until I say other wise got it?””Commissioner sent me, Sam, member of the X-Men…””An orphanage? That’s messed up…”
^^ “Expected of your ki…” “Sorry, still getting used to working with your kind…”
Koga’s eye narrowed as he looked at the captain who hadn’t even noticed him yet.
~~”Are you keeping the building surrounded?”
^^“Of course we have it surrounded.”
~~”Koga, I think I know who we are dealing with, so you can come with me, but I need you to do something for me… find them, whoever you can and get them into well hidden places, if it’s who I think it is she’ll lose interest if I show up and she can’t find anyone to play with…”
“I’m on it Bosssssssssss.” He hissed his word extra to mess with the officer and that got his attention. He kept ColdSteel’s pace as they neared the building. Koga Wore a long trench coat over his specially made uniform, He was pretty sure that he had the most embarrassing uniform ever. It was like he was a frickin flasher… He wore a royal blue trench coat and under that were a pale pair of Sheerish tiny shorts. After realizing his power would have him running around they added an up grade of heat packs on his hips as well. It wasn’t the Most intimidating mission wear but it played to his abilities and managed to have him not be a streaker…mostly anyhow.
He slipped the trench off his shoulder to let it pool there on the porch. And immediately took up his camouflage the flesh under the shorts slightly brighter to allow for the obscurity of the shorts to help him blend in still
~~”Police are good guys right? There over there!”,”AURA!”
“maybe if you’re their kind” koga said under his breathe and darted into the building along a wall, He headed toward the room where the most voices were Screaming…It is where he would head if he were a maniac. Along the way he helped three children hide in a cupboard and had them cover there mouths, He also whispered a code to them that would let them know it was safe to come out.
“Mutantssss ssssaved you.” He would enjoy telling the chief that there were several children in the building that wouldn’t come out until they heard that shouted on a megaphone.
Aura heard a hello from behind her the voice, despite never hearing it sounded like one she knew and so she called back. "I am over her Solkat, keep an even spread, the others are dead" she explained completely unable to grasp the idea that Solkat had died in the attack she was refrenceing and so coulsd not be talking to her. Aura's grip on reality never the strongest anchored ship, slipped further out of reach, as her mind tried desperately to process information that on many levels, it knew could not exist. A hammer sent a once shiny toaster, threw the window, ensuring it would never be used again. Looking over the destruction, Aura smiled, their would be no more clones, no more of the traitor.Aura heard her name called in the distance and suddenly a cave she had not seen before sat right in the open. Not giving a passing thought to what a cave might be doing in what was a cloning lab, or even whare the forest had gone, it was likely another clone of Syre seeking his doom, wrapping her hand around a tree branch she pulled and the thin branch popped free. Aura then walked into the room with the person who had called her. She had been wrong this was no Syre, it did seem like she should know him though, but from where she could not say.
Aura formed an axe like blade, but so far only used it to cut into the poorly isolated wall, she was sticking close to trying to cut the area she had to watch in case the clone showed back up. her Eyes looked at Cold steel but her gaze was distinct as if she were not quite seeing him, her eyes still blazed with unfocused flame her anger and rage apparent. . Forming her hammer into a blade she pointed a Cold steel. "The base may burn, my friends lie filled with lead, but our destruction shall be Mutual, May the Matriarch and the prophet lie in peace, despite the information Syre betrayed to you" she said having concluded he must be working to make the clones and thus had to be responsible for her friends death. Aura took a step forward but it was unsteady, her hand grabbed the exposed wooden support mean tight, as she grimaced, something was not right but what was it, why did this situation not make any sense. As she tried to figure out, she accidentally cut almost through the block of wood, her Aura blade losing substence just before it cut all the way through. her other hand gripped her head tightly, so that her hands went white, it took Aura a few moments to regain her composure but when she did, she looked right at Cold steel, she would work out what made sence after she dealt with whoever this was, he had to be some kind of scientists right? Should be easy, "Victory is life, Vengeance our blade, and Loyelty our existence" she said more to herself then anyone else, she had been hoping the phrase would make her feel better, it failed horribly at it's task.
Aura failed to notice anyone else in the room, seeing only the cave, Cold steel and a few bats flying overhead. Whare had Syre gone to anyway, was he still alive, or just these clones of this scientist. Did it matter? Syre had to die if he was still alive, vengence dictated that much. But she recalled killing syre, before, but had he not just betrayed them? why did she have so many diffrent memories of the same events, which ones were real, which were simply false, atleast one set had to be true, it simply had to be.
"I am over her Solkat, keep an even spread, the others are dead"
Petunia blinked. Ok so that wasn't really what Pix had expected. She took a minute to figure out if the response was really meant for her, or not. petunia took a moment to figure the answer to that question out, filling the silence from herself for a moment, with the sound of herself sucking the last of the contents of her coffee. Petunia didn't hear anyone else respond to her on that last remark. so that answered her question.
She took a moment to think on what this told her. It seemed that this person either thought that petunia was someone else, and only acting like this for the joy or what ever job. The other possibility was that she didn't actually know what was really going on. Petunia's older brother was in the asylum. Petunia had seen things like it before on her visits. Some of the confusion at the asylum was started by her but the result was the same.
"I'm on it." Petunia called back. playing into this little game that was going through the other girl's head. Petunia paused for a moment as one of her spiders had sucked out a good portion of blood from the body Petunia's bugs had been toting behind her. The body was shoved off to the side, as the spider scurried after Pix's heals, climbed her boot, up her leg, around her back till it reached her shoulder and went across her arm into her hand where she daintily held it between her thumb and forefinger with her pinky sticking out. From there, the spider was crunched between Petunia's teeth.
”AURA!”
OK so apparently someone knew this girl. Petunia had only heard her voice so far, and while it sounded familiar, Petunia didn't really put a big emphasis on knowing every voice of every person she had ever talked at. The voice had come from Behind Pix and with Aura clearly unstable a head of her, and Someone who had a really big voice behind her, she decided she didn't like the position. Immediately Petunia seemed to have disintegrate into a large colony of lunar mouths. Petunia's cloths were stashed behind a door, and Petunia and her group fluttered over Aura's head, close to the ceiling to Aura's other side. petunia didn't even notice Koga, down the hall the other way, or the kids that were now hiding. Though her biting bugs, once she was out of range and un able to tell them what to do, would find the kids and do what bug's instincts say to do.

It didn’t matter if Koga had one arm, he had faith in his student and new that Koga was far more than capable of this task. After all it was just Aura right? There weren’t any other signs of any other Order members, they usually stood out when using their powers, meaning that they had no problem hiding what they were doing. After this was all over Sam figured he would ask Koga a little more about the loss of his arm after that he would try and figure out what they could do to try and replace that arm. It was the reason he had brought his student out on patrol in the first place even though Doc hadn’t approved of it in the first place.
As he entered another room a hallway perhaps Sam spotted Aura and she looked quite distraught, ”Aura…” Sam paused as she turned her pink hammer into a pink blade. ”You need to stop this, these children have done nothing wrong… No one here did anything wrong to you, you have no reason to do things like this.” Sam said as he thought about the last time he had met her, she defiantly had a reason for trying to rob the gas station she was hungry after all, so the robbery was justified and even then she was trying to do it as discreetly as possible in regards to not killing anyone, but now… what reason did she have to do something like this?
”The hell you talking about?” Sam asked confused to the goings ons in Aura’s mind. He looked confused now not sure how to respond to her, who was Syre and where did she think she was? ”Get a hold of yourself Aura!” Sam yelled as he spotted a few bugs flutter overhead followed by a large mass of a swarm. Sam ducked slightly and rolled away from the door where the bugs had entered as he watched a group of moths flutter near Aura he asked, ”Who are you?”
Bending his knees slightly Sam debated the best way to handle the situation, in all reality he could just shut the doors with ice and then deal with the two from there but if he could avoid a fight that was what he was going to do. Sam watched a few bugs escape down the hallway towards where Koga entered, he wasn’t to worried about a few of the bugs but what he was more focused on was the fact that he kept Aura near him where she couldn’t hurt anyone other than him. ”You with her?” he addressed the bugs nearest Aura.
Koga got that group settled and had them tucked away he found a couple blankets nearby, wrapping the huddled group in it. He put the oldest in charge and told her to keep everyone calm and quiet and closed the door behind him and then it was off to the next group... He took a couple steps and then tilted his head….what was that sound? It was like bees but a bit more clickity clackity it was almost like a bunch of. No Freaking Way! Why were there tons of bugs coming his way? Why were there that many of…what were those things? And why was there that many of them in an orphanage. He gritted his teeth… this was not cool! How many freaks in this city liked to give kids nightmares?
He turned around and flung open the cupboard behind him hoping for something big enough to smash these things with, but what he found was even better. His right and only hand snatched a big green can of bug spray, he swung the can and the plastic cap bounced off into the cabinet above the children.
He wondered if these incest paid attention to raid commercials. He tested the bottle and it was everything he wanted and more. It was one of those designed for tagging wasp’s nests from the ground no ladder needed. He held down the spray top and attacked the biting bugs with a vengeance.
There he stood in his hands and trumping his mutant abilities, and spraying with accuracy was a bottle of bug spray. It wasn't worthy of the cover of a comic book, but he was feeling pretty good at the moment.
Somwhare in the realm of her mind, Aura tried to pull herself from the darkness, she had to fight it, regain control and her composure, everything was so distant now, voices people the environment. The ground she had gained was quickly lost however with a gentile voice saying she was on it. The Illution, had to be sanctuary, the mansion the x-men, yes in reality she must have never left the woods, could all of this be some kind of torture, or just made up to extract information from her? Aura was fond of keeping a calm manner in combat, but with her mind and misguided revelations she failed at this as was evident in her aura, the normal calm pink material darkened a bit and Aura grunted forcing her blade longer, trying to grab every inch she could, the effort caused rippels in the blade as Aura struggled to keep it solid.
"Chilldren?" Aura asked the idea of children being in such a location was laughable, Aura could recall seeing young looking people here though. A trick? Likely if all of the last six months had been an illusion it was possible. Shaking her head she tossed aside the idea of an illution weather it was true or not, she was pretty sure she had to fight whoever this guy was. Aura had no idea who Sam was really talking to, instead she assumed it was her. " As you stated i Am Aura, Leader of the 12th squad of Alpha, but you likely already knew that. I see my error in letting you capture Syre, cloning him was a good plan a good way to exploit my error" Aura said but just as she did she realized Solkat was alive she had responded had she not?
Aura swung her Axe this time only cutting into the wall again. looking down at the Axe she tilted her head, and the Axe ebgan to twist in on itself untill it formed a drill which began to rotate slowly. venegence and her Savior, Alpha would guide her path all she needed to do was surrender herself to it. Aura suddenly and without warning charged sam, leading with the drill she had formed completely unware of the police or Koga or even the bugs in the room. Her mind only had room for one thing, beating the man who to her was cloning her dead freind and her worst mistake. Though somwhat blinded by her mental breakdown, she still moved with grace and practice.
through the many many eyes of the moth, pix watched this scene play out. her little moth self grinning at the new action and play. Petunia gardener had no idea of the gruesome scene that was playing out down the hall as her minions tragically inhaled Bug killing spry cast on them by, what was to them, a giant one armed bully. None the less, as long as their legs still twitched, erratically or controlled, the mass was struggling to move forward. The front line fell back. Slowing down to the chemicals of bug warfare. Though instinct kept them struggling to move on, even in their dying breaths and twitches. Their comrads behind them, began scurrying over the falling friends. The comrad's fresh speed adding to the slowing speed of the dying friends and the marching bugs became a mound that grew, managing to let the bugs on top pick up speed like a rolling mound of snow or dirt down a hill.
It was true. The bugs were dying and leaving a trail behind them, but Petunia's bugs were as sensitive to chemicals as she was making them survive longer. The bugs on the outside of this rolling mound protected the bugs within, and while it was true, that they were loosing their ranks and leaving a trail of dead and dying itchy twitchy limbs, it was a small loss to pay for the swarm in it's entirety.
Mean while, back in the room with Aura...
”Who are you?”
”You with her?”
Petunia fluttered down from the middle of her swarm following Sam's movements. A few of her fellow lunar moths fluttered behind her making it hart to tell witch of them was in control. petunia liked it that way. Letting a few stray moths stay out on the outside of the mass that gathered on the ceiling that rest above the floor between the two mutants. "I've never really seen her before." Petunia lied. "At least we've never spoken." Petunia and her smaller band of moths circled around this hero's head and shoulders. "She's clearly messed up though." Petunia let her voice buzz through the mouth of the moth.
Aura was talking like she was in some sort of RPG game. The type people use to get out their fantasies. It was as if Pix and the rest of the orphanage was stuck in the middle of a sci-phy convention. Then Aura decided to charge. Pix made a split second decision. It looked as though Aura had a good target on this hero so Pix was going to provide her with some cover.
As it they had been startled by the sudden movement, Petunia's bugs fanned out away from the ceiling. Making a fluffy like clowd of lunar moth wings around Aura's body and specifically thickening around the side of her weapon as Petunia instructed her moths from over this hero's shoulder. Making sure she had a view from his eye level so it didn't look like she was specifically trying to hide the weapon from his view, with the dispersal of the rest of her mothy minions. "Watch out!" Petunia cried in her little mothy buzz of a voice that was a little easy to loose in the commotion, Just before The moth that was pix shot up in the air to what she hoped would be safety.

One thing after another added to the convincing Sam needed the convincing that told him that brining Koga out of Doc while he had one arm wasn’t the best thing for him. To be honest Sam was just looking for a quiet ride along that would consist of a few boring hours of just driving around, Sam after all only wanted Koga to get some fresh air not be put in harms way. One thing was for sure Sam would do his best to keep this little police/mutant escapade between just the two of them or at least till Doc wouldn’t be so upset about it.
The sudden flash of a pink axe and the squeaking of a small voice coming from the group of moths that now fluttered about before him Sam, blinked once and then his face distorted into utter confusion, ”Aura what are you talking about? Who and what is Alpha?” Sam didn’t have much time to react however seeing as the Axe in her hand or on her arm or whatever it was started to spin at a rapid pace.
Instinctively taking a step back as she charged Sam bent his knees slightly inward as the moths that were sitting unlatched themselves and flew out in front of him. As they called watch out Sam could only catch a glimpse of pink before he activated his mutation covering his body and the floor under him with a thick ice. Not as thick as he would like but it was strong enough for the most part to help redirect the drill once it skinned his chest. Jumping to the side and away from the drill Sam focused on the armor once again repairing the beginning of the hole that could possibly be his demise.
One step back and another and without much thought the air around him started to become brittle as the temperature dropped a few degrees at first but then started a quick decent. If he could slow Aura down he could get her under control without hurting her, which was his exact plan. Throwing his hands up Sam focused his mutation through the tip of his fingers as the frame he was pointing to quickly frost over in a thick wall. Within another few moments the other and last exit was sealed off not taking the window into account Sam turned his attention to those that was in the room with him.
Aura in her maddened was a problem already but with the bugs flying about they only aided her. Spotting out of the corner of his eye he watched as a moth flew near him only to slow freeze fall and shatter once it got close enough to Sam, ”Sorry buggy,” Sam said his attention leaving the now shattered insect and focusing more on Aura as several other moths froze and then shattered.
Koga’s eyes widened as the bug mound kept moving toward him…he wished he had his other arm…if he did, he would light the stove and make a flame thrower, but as it was, he was doing well to just hold the can and the spray button down. He then realized a trick he had learned as a young child.
He was in his back yard and frustrated that a can of spray paint had no red top to push down on only a little straw that did noting if you held it down. So he got a hammer and nail and poked a hole in it, and it spun around spraying haphazard stripes all over him and his back yard. He flipped the can around in the air holding the bottom up, spotted a nail sticking out of the wall and slammed it into the wall; the nail busted a hole in the can even as the rouge nail was forced into the wall. Immediately a stream of spray was whipping the can nearly out of his hand, he tossed it into the mound like a bug spray whirlwind. He then spotted his next mode of attack…bugs tended to have the same problem with cold that he did and luckily the orphanage was up on code. He pulled the pin to the fire extinguisher before picking it up and then grabbed the trigger pulling it down and releasing another liquid attack on the mound. He of course again didn’t have a second hand to aim the hose, so it waved around coating the whole area in front of him at random… if he could settle the bugs, he could grab the kids from the shelter and move them further away from his impromptu bug bombing.
Aura's drill deflected from Cold steel and instead ripped a small inch wide trench in the wall, sending a small cloud of dust into the air. She could feel it growing colder in the room, and far away she noted she knew this power, had seen it before, but where, could she not place it. It was getting colder much colder, her Aura did not prevent heat and cold from affecting her. Aura watched as the exits froze. He wanted to ensure she could not run. Her Free hand touched her head, her fingers messaging her head, had she not just been in a forest, something was wrong, not making sence, Like how Sayre could be alive at all, even as a clone. Sayre never had ice powers, he had....what did sayre do? Aura Asked herself, her uncertainty showing as she stood thare, trying to work things out in her head.
Her focus was slipping and she knew it, her head was showing her images again she could almost smell the mortar rounds again. She considered Cold steels question as if she had just heard it, in reality mentally she really had just processed his words. "The Goddess of nature" she said simply, she had never seen an image of her goddess and knew others were out thare, eight others actually. Aura drill began to loose it's shape almost looking like it was melting except it was flowing back up to her fist. Yes, that was it, faith in the goddess, that would guide her through this, her blessing would allow Aura to prevail. Still without solkat she could not even ask the goddess a question. "WRONG" Aura suddenly screamed as more images of blood and carnage passed before her eyes, including her fingers around Miracles neck. In her Anger her Aura flared back up forming a hammer which she used to strike at the wall. "Can't...be" she said almost forgetting the others were even thare.
She barely heard the moths their voice tickling her mind. "My enemy, is before me, whoever that may be, combat brings calm, brings order, makes the false memories go away" she reasoned with herself, she was cold yes, and it was going to make things tougher she knew, but already she was not entirely sure what she was fighting was real, or even thare. truth be told she could still be in her room or in the super bowl wherever that was. Her Hammering turning to s sharp blade she smiled, her Maddened slash Aiming for Cold steels midsection. The Moth seemed helpful but why would bugs be helping her? Maybe their was a mutant in it somehow, could bugs be mutants?
Oh the male had a very evil ability. A very very evil ability indeed. Why where Pix considered herself a goddess of life, who deserved to be worshiped, this male very well could be a god of death. A god of ice death that make certain unnameable parts of one's thorax, and abdomen, ache and then go numb. Parts of Pix's thorax that she didn't really feel were appropriate to name to the readers of this thread.
As it got colder and colder, petunia had no choice but to chang back into her heman self. Her naked human self. Not that it mattered, no one seemed to be looking. Through her naked self was covered in goose bumps for a moment as she hovered above and just behind the cold ice man. Her body, for a moment, was hidden by the moths, but those were 'dropping like flies' so she'd have to figure something out to defend herself, not only from unrightfully prying eyes, but also the cold.
Pix pulled her legs up and pulled her arms around herself trying to keep from freezing to death as more soft winged moths started to form around her skin. They grew out from her the pores of her skin. The moths carried the warmth from inside her body, to the outside as the growing moths built up into layers over her skin, using their wings to trap warm air against her body. However even when she started to feel comfortable, she had to keep her moth clothing growing to keep the heat from her body steady. And she wasn't able to stop shivering very fast.
She was still shaky when the aura gal started in on her next attack. Pix made her move. She dropped down onto the cold man's shoulders. Making sure to put an extra layer of mothy warmth between herself and those cold shoulders. Her arms encircled sam's head and she quickly pressed on hand over Sam's nose, the other, she tried to place over his mouth, and her arms pressed against his ears.
Why cry to cover every posible openning of this cold man? Because with the ice armor that Aura had already demonstrated, he obviously didn't have that many weaknesses that pixes bugs could exploit. Only the theory that he needed to breath, to talk, and to hear drove her to try this little experiment called, how many ants can be shoved up your nasal cavity compared to the number that can be shoved down your throat and in your ears. Ants wiggled to freedom from her palms and arms and assisted her in their attempted shoving into their new homes.
Mean while, it seems Koga had started to win the war of the bug mound. There was much more twitching and wiggling on Shelly backs, than there was coherent movement.

Aura seemed to be losing her grasp with reality more and more, calling out to people who weren’t there, saying things that made little sense, was it possible she was seeing things? He didn’t know what exactly was happening but the girl who first introduced herself as Rena back at the gas station wasn’t there any longer. Sighing slightly as he watched her next strike to a wall with a hammer shatter the plaster, ”What ever you’re seeing isn’t there Aura!” Sam said quietly mostly to himself than anyone else. Things were quickly proceeding from bad to worse and the only good thing about the situation was that Koga, his one arm student wasn’t there to get caught up in the mess. With Koga out of the equation Sam could focus on getting things under control.
His body thrown off balance as he felt someone on his shoulders Sam wondered when whatever the thing was that pounced him had gotten there. Was it the bugs? Could they shape shift? He didn’t know or care but as he saw his vision go dark he noticed that it was getting harder to breath and something… something was itching him….in his nose! ”Gross g-get off!” Sam called out as he felt something pierce his midsection.
It was warm, blood Aura must have seen an opportunity and taken it. Luckily for him it wasn’t a deep cleave, just a shallow one, oh it was so much better. Getting super annoyed with the situation Sam breathed in slowly and then exhaled as the surrounding dropped another noticeable amount, ice now covered the room as he could feel what small amount of creepy crawlies that entered his nostrils froze and ceased to move. He didn’t like that one bit. Leaning forward Sam managed to shake free of the bug thing that was on top of him as he jumped back a few feet.
”That is so…” Sam blew his nose forcing a ant or two to shoot out and shatter on the ground, ”Disgusting!” eyeing the moth covered figure Sam sneezed a few more times as he continued to bleed, ”Gross, now knock it off both of you! Aura get a hold of yourself! I don’t know who your looking for but they aren’t here! Now both of you,” he sneezed again ”need to leave before I get upset!”
