The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(OOC: permission for positioning)
Alex’s movement was slow and hesitant at first but shortly she had made her way to her side of Sam’s bed and when she lowered her self and leaned in for a kiss Sam responded by pushing his head as she retreated making a failed attempt to lengthen the kiss. A loud yawn protruded from Sam’ mouth as his foot twitched slightly like it always does before bed as he watched Alex start to fall asleep. It wasn’t long after till he joined her in dreamland.
The sun crept in through the window as it reflected off of something on his dresser forcing a small beam of light to force itself upon Sam’s shuteyes. Lazily and painfully Sam opened his eyes, yes it was painful he obviously had an interesting night with Ghost, did she in fact make out with that other air elemental? And who were those girls that he had met and did he really suggest that Alex should become his girlfriend? His left hand reached up the tips of his fingers iced over as he placed them on his forehead in an attempt to fight back the headache which was usually bad but now was more painful that usual. ”Too much…” muttered Sam to himself as he shifted his body to notice that there was something in his bed that usually wasn’t there.
His head tilted down slightly as he spotted Alex’s hand on his chest while her head was resting in the crook of his arm. He was shirtless and from the lack of covers over one of her legs she seemed to be pant less, looking around for an explanation Sam’s eyes darted to the end of the bed and found the shirt he was wearing the night before at the end of the bed. Really hope we didn’t do what I think we did… thought Sam as he shifted his weight a bit more this time to reach his left hand across his chest and brush some of the hair out of Alex’s face.
His eyes darted down to the shirt she was wearing, it was Kiss, which meant something did happen, and it was after all his lucky shirt. After brushing some of the hair behind her ear Sam retreated his left hand and placed upon her hand that was on his chest. Did she drink too? Sam thought to him self curiously hoping that there decision wasn’t one influenced by alcohol. Hell maybe nothing happened at all and she just didn’t have any pants and he decided that his shirt was better off but the question would be how did it end up on his bed, it should have hit the floor.
Inside the world of the molecule manipulator named Alexandra Kettler and sometimes Circe was a comforting blackness. Her body seemed to float in the middle of the silent nothingness, protected from everything that meant the outside world. There were no dreams, no nightmares, just sleeping. Warmth surrounded her like a blanket and Alexandra slightly moved her fingers while the beginning of a smile appeared on her lips.
And then, something happened. The distant echo of a sound disturbed the silence. She could not understand anything but her eyelids slightly moved in response. Something touched the side of her head, brushing the hair behind her ear and the nothingness began to disappear. Although half awake, she refused with stubbornness to open her eyes while the soft touch caressed over her temple. Only her lips parted slightly while her face moved in an attempt to hide herself. Her leg also moved, wrapping around something. "Five more minutes." she managed to say, in her native language as the touch moved to her arm. Without waiting for the reply, she began to slide back into the nothingness.

The touches he gave Alex were indeed intended to be gentle ones however he had hopped she would wake up and explain a few things at least give him a hint to what had happened last night seeing as a majority of it was a blur at least the time he left the bar. The headache subsided for a time as everything remained still but as soon as Alex stirred his head throbbed painfully as he felt the ice on the top of his forehead cool his brain for a brief time.
"Înca˘ cinci minute."
As Alex spoke goose bumps trailed up Sam’s shirtless body as the meaning of the words were lost on him seeing as he didn’t speak…. What was it? Romanian? He knew she was from there but he never heard her speak it before which why he didn’t really know how to respond. He waited a minute as her leg wrapped around his, their legs intertwined his bare feet for a moment felt her bare skin as another chill ran up his spine, coming to the conclusion that she was indeed pantless Sam nudged her once more this time he shook his body as he kept his hands on the side of her face and the other one on her hand which was still located on his chest.
”I don’t understand what you just said…” Sam said quietly more of a whisper to himself than anything else. ”Alex…. You need to wake up….” Sam bit his tongue as he wanted to know what happened last night however he was far more content with her glued to him laying in his bed, did something happen last night? Something that shouldn’t have?
She had almost started sleeping again. Almost. For her plea for a few more minutes for sleep was unheard or perhaps ignored. A nudge pulled her away once again from the comforting sensation sleeping offered. A voice broke trough again, this time clear enough to have Alexandra recognize Sam. Sam? What was Sam doing in her room? And why was he telling her that she needed to wake up? Maybe the doc sent him to get her because she was late to her job? Yeah, that must be it. "Ce este?" she asked lazily as her eyes opened. She closed them again when the face that she assumed that would be there wasn't. Instead, a disturbing light greeted her. Alexandra moved her head away from the light as she opened her eyes again. Where exactly was Sam?
Fingers moved and her brain registered the texture under her fingers. It was warm... It was smooth... It was... Skin! Blue eyes widdened as she realized that her hand was resting on a man's chest. Putting two together she realized that Sam wasn't standing next to her bed. He was in her bed! What happened last night? She didn't remember Sam coming into her room last night, let alone laying next to her in bed. Now with her body fully awake, she rotated her eyes around the room. This isn't my room. It was Sam's room, if she recalled it corectly. Confused eyes returned to the chest she was resting her head on, while her body shifted. The leg wrapped around Sam registered the postition and sent it to the brain provoking panic inside the molecule manipulator's mind. She retracted her limb as quickly as possible without betraying the confusion inside her mind. Brown haired head also moved upwards until Alexandra was starring at Sam. "Sam?"

She stirred again though this time it was far less movement at first, she spoke again in her native tongue and again Sam blinked utterly confused. Once again Sam mumbled, ”I don’t understand you…” he wasn’t upset his tone if anything was a kind one that was more worried about what was about to happen if he did manage to wake the sleeping beauty. Would she turn dragon and rip off his head or would she greet him with a hug and a warm smile? Only time could tell.
Watching her reaction with his slightly elevated head he watched her eyes lids open all the way, though unable to see her blue eyes she was sure she was looking for something. Her leg moved away unlocking form his as her head tilted up. Eyes locking with hers as she said his name in more of a question than anything else. ”Were you expecting someone else?” Sam asked as the ice around his forehead constricted slightly.
Feeling slightly relieved now that his head didn’t feel like it was swelling or on fire Sam’s hand reached to the side of Alex’s head as he brushed a little hair out of her face, ”So…. Ummmm…. Did I do something last night?” he asked trying to remember and hoping he didn’t do anything that would hurt his chances with her, but then again she was sleeping in the same bed with him…pantless.
Alexandra looked with curiosity as Sam spoke those words. What did he mean by not understanding her? With a questioning look in her eyes she shifted her body to a standing position. "I don't understand you." she said as she extended her hands, stretching them lazily over her head, a yawn accompanying the moves.
Blinking again, she tilted her head from side to side a few times while she placed her hand on Sam's. A sleepy and confused smile appeared on her face as she locked her eyes with Sam. "What do you mean if you did something last night?" An eyebrow arched slightly as her mind tried to run trough her mind the events of the last night. Nothing came back to her, just the desperate scream of her mind to get back to sleep. "Did you do something?" she asked with unhidden curiosity.

Her head tilted, her hand placed on his, and her eyes locked, Sam watched her eyebrow rise as she was now sitting on his bed. Sam sighed slightly when she didn’t seem to recall anything, ”Well… I’m not complaining or anything but how did you manage to get into my room last night?” he lowered his head and sighed slightly, ”That didn’t come out right, what I am trying to say is, I don’t remember a lot of last night and,” Sam pointed to the small band of ice around his forehead, ”From the way things are now it seemed I had a long night and I wanted to know if I did anything…to you…”
He disliked how awkward this situation was becoming for him, did they… snoo snoo? She was pant less and he was shirtless, so it was possible, from the way she made things seem she didn’t remember much either, ”Did you drink last night?” Sam asked curiously his hand fidgeting nervously under hers not sure where or how this conversation was going to end up.
What exactly happened last night? the moments and scenes he could remember where anything but pretty. Over half of the memories were consisting of a blonde and a brunette, every time both of them were all over him, hand on his Johnson, tongue down his throat then there were a few scenes with Ghost and an air elemental…. A sudden fleeting thought went out to ghost wondering where exactly she was. Sighing again he looked to Alex, and asked, ”You drove me home last night right?”
Any movement stopped. Alexandra didn't even dare to blink or breath as Sam spoke. Until Sam kind of insinuated that they had ... errr... snoo snoo last night the thought was thousands of miles away from the molecule manipulator's stare. Her vision started to get hazy and only then she blinked. After the looks of it ... Sam was waiting for some answer. Which she didn't possess right now. Everything inside her mind was blocked, all the little wheels stopped. No, she didn't have an answer. At least not right now, when her mind refused to remember last night.
"I..." She paused, uncertain of what exactly was she trying to say. Or did she even had something to say. "I need to use your bathroom." The words left her mouth without a thought. Her body moved at a speed that would have turned a speed mutant green with envy. In a few seconds, Alexandra was already closing the door behind her. Her back leaned against it as blue eyes seemed to watch one of the bathroom's tiles with unexpected interest. But she wasn't seeing anything. Did we do something last night? The words kept echoing into her mind over and over again. Bits of information were revived into her mind. The last thing she remembered? The training session in the Danger Room. The other was a blur, only images that passed too quickly trough her mind, before she could process them.
She took a step forward, eyes moving now to the sink. Another step. And one more. A hand touched the cold sink. A few frames stopped long enough for her to see. It was her, dropping a pair of pajama pants that were awfully familiar. They looked just like the shirt she was wearing now. Then, she walked toward the bed. Sam was waiting. She reached it, crawled to him and -
Everything went back to a blur. Did I drink last night? Brown haired head moved up, now facing the mirror. The reflection watched her sympathetically from inside the mirror. She didn't look like someone that was so drunk that she couldn't remember what happened in the morning. Maybe she looked like someone who certainly needed a few more minutes of sleep but drunk? No. No headache, no hangover, nothing that she usually got after consuming alcohol.
A small hand moved to turn on the water. When the sound of running water reached her ears, blue eyes trailed down. A hand was placed under the cold water and Alexandra sighed and bent over to wash her face, in hope that it would make her remember. It did. She remembered the cell phone ringing. Her assailant hitting her. Alexandra looked into the mirror and touched her lip. The evidence of the bruising was fading but was still there, a proof that she was actually remembering everything right. What happened after? Sam's message, telling her that they should meet and her getting out of the Danger Room then speeding away on her motorcycle.
A blur again. Blue eyes moved again, this time bellow the mirror, in search of tooth paste. Her hand almost reached for the tooth brush too but she remembered that this wasn't her bathroom so her toothbrush was a few rooms away from her. Shrugging, she placed tooth paste on her finger and proceeded with washing her teeth. Blink. The powerful mint aroma hit her nose and forced her to push away the sensation of tiredness. Her mind reacted quickly to this, and rushed to show the molecule manipulator what she was looking for.
Alexandra widened her eyes suddenly. They didn't do anything. We didn't do anything! Extracting the finger from her mouth, she rushed to the door, opened it and stopped at the border that separated the bedroom from the bathroom. Blue eyes searched for Sam and when she found him, her face no longer looked like it didn't had any of the answers. She had all the answers. "I didn't drink! And we didn't do anything. It seems that my mind refuses to wake up when my body does." Alexandra shrugged slightly at the last comment then continued before Sam could have had the chance of even opening his mouth. "Anyway, you called me and I drove you home and we just slept together." Her mouth closed. English was tricky once again, especially for sleepy molecule manipulators. She gave an embarrassed smile. "Not the wisest choice of words." she muttered. Perhaps she hadn't completely waken up. Or the effect of the toothpaste was washing off? Speaking of toothpaste...
Blue eyes traveled to her finger. Then the same finger connected with the corner of her mouth. And she wished she could melt away. A nervous laugh left her lips. "He he. Hope you don't mind I used some of your toothpaste." Her eyes shifted from side to side more nervously. How could she forget to rinse her mouth before appearing in front of her boyfriend. If he remembers that. The thought brought a bitter taste to her mouth. She didn't want to worry about that right then and forced herself to push the thought away. Without another word she turned around and walked toward the sink. She let the water running too, she noticed.
When she was finished, she headed for the bedroom once again. Who knew what poor Sam would think about her right now. Well, she did warn him she was awful in the mornings, she remembered as she walked inside the bedroom.

Blink that was all he could manage as she launched herself from his extra large bed and bolted for it slamming the door behind her, did she really have to go? Or was it more of a, ‘I can’t look at you cause you can’t remember, or something another look’. If only Sam’s mutation involved dwelling into the mind of girls, then and only then could he understand the opposite sex like he would like to.
Sighing slightly as he heard the water running in his bathroom he looked over to Cammie and Bruno who were despite all the noise trying to go back to sleep. Grinning slightly Sam propped a pillow behind his back to give himself a better room of the view so he could get a better look at Alex when she exited his large bathroom.
Knowing that girls took a long time in the bathroom Sam waited patiently his eyes beginning to close slightly the adrenaline that he had worked up when waking up next to Alex had almost run it’s course as he felt his hangover begin to take effect again. Resting his hand on his forehead Sam traced the ice with one finger trying to focus on not only what happened last night but the pros and cons of drinking this much, and for the moment he could find no pros.
The girls rushed back to his mind the image of them made Sam grin slightly, was he really that good? The images continued as he recalled walking down the streets texting or calling Alex. Again he couldn’t remember what exactly he did but he knew that she had seen him with the girls…. Was that the reason they… fooled around or not? He didn’t know what exactly happened but he had a feeling that something good came out of it. After all he did wake up to her, sleeping…pant less…
Jumping upright his body moved down the bed a little as she opened the door taking both him and in turn to his reaction Cammie and Bruno who both let out their displeasure for waking this early. Eyes trailing from Bruno and Cammie and landing on an Alex whose face lit up like a child during the holidays. Curious to what she had to saw Sam eyed the toothpaste at the corner of her mouth and gave a silent smirk as his eyes trailed to her finger.
"I didn't drink! And we didn't do anything. It seems that my mind refuses to wake up when my body does."
”Oh thank god!” Sam said quietly as she continued telling her memories from the night before. This was both a good and bad thing, good because she drove and was able to take care of him and bad because she was completely sober all of last night. No doubt he had done something stupid, or said something. A reason he never liked drinking as much as a liquor store sells.
"Anyway, you called me and I drove you home and we just slept together."
Sam blinked once then twice as her face turned red and his eyes trailed down to her legs, which were as he suspected all along, were uncovered. It seemed as she realized what she said instantly regretted saying it. He knew Alex was from Romania though from time to time he overlooked and forgot about the language difference, the reason he had such a hard time understanding her when she first woke.
"Not the wisest choice of words."
”Maybe….” said Sam his smirk growing into a smile despite his body trying to compensate with all the alcohol by churning his stomach and making his head swell up like a balloon. ”and you have a little something…” Sam pointed to his own mouth to mirror Alex who still had toothpaste on her mouth.
"He he. Hope you don't mind I used some of your toothpaste."
Shaking his head Sam only smiled as Alex turned to the bathroom and went to go finish up with her brushing. As Alex exited his bathroom Sam made a patting motion on his bed and said simply, ”Come back to bed….” he paused laying his head on his double layer of pillows that kept his head elevated still, ”There is something I have to ask you…”
Not waiting for her to return to the bed, which he hoped she would do Sam, turned his head to Alex and frowned slightly, ”You might have not drunken anything but…I know I did and there some thing I want to apologize for…”he didn’t recall everything but what he did recall he was despite his pride ready to apologize for. ”I am sorry you had to see me with those two girls, I met them after Ghost and I got to the bar….can you forgive me for being stupid?” that much he remembered, the way he ate up all the words that they fed him, not really putting up much a fight as they stuck their tongue down his throat… details like that were going to be something he would avoid.
"Come back to bed. There is something I have to ask you."
Alexandra paused for a moment, eyes moving from Sam to the spot on the bed that Sam had patted and back to Sam. Curiosity appeared in her eyes as she walked toward the bed and once again crawled on it. Folding her legs under her body and placing her hands on them she looked with questioning eyes at Sam. Her head tilted to the side slightly and a smirk appeared on her lips when he finished talking.
A hand reached out and was placed on top of Sam's. "Sam... we agreed on something last night... concerning this... issue." She paused for a moment, a finger moving to caress Sam's skin. "We agreed that if this won't happen again..." Alexandra paused again, looking in Sam's eyes for recognition of what she was saying. Regardless if he was remembering or not, she decided to continue. "Then we will pretend like nothing had happened." She smiled reassuringly as she slightly squeezed Sam's hand. "I won't lie, I was disappointed but I want us to get over this. Okay?" She gave a small shrug at her comment, she was telling the truth. Yes, she had forced herself to erase from her mind the disturbing things she had seen last night... with the condition of not happening again. And... if it did, she wouldn't like to be in Sam's shoes at that particular moment.

Watching her approach and then sit on his bed Sam couldn’t help but wonder what exactly went through his mind last night, more often or not when he had a few drinks in him he had a tendency to have ‘Wandering hands’ which often got him into trouble with his female friends, this however must have not been the situation last night seeing as Alex was willing not only to spend the night but hop back in bed with him.
"Sam... we agreed on something last night... concerning this... issue."
Eyes trailing from her knees to her hands and then to the smile on her face that made his head stop swelling, ”We did?” Sam asked curiously trying his best to remember his frame lifting it’s self into a sitting position as his face scrunched up into his thinking face. Did they? He remembered talking to her about something important last night, but why could he remember them talking in his room? Was that where the conversation took place? As she placed her hand on his and started to move her hands across his skin Sam achieved a few goose bumps trailing up the arm she was touching.
"We agreed that if this won't happen again... Then we will pretend like nothing had happened. I won't lie, I was disappointed but I want us to get over this. Okay?"
Nodding his head as she gave his hand a reassuring squeeze Sam smiled and said, ”That was… a good agreement!” surprised with how cool she was being about everything has happened Sam nodded his head once again, ”And it won’t happen again, promise!” was that a promise he could keep? Maybe Sam should start bringing Alex around when he started to drink? That would certainly take the focus off other girls seeing as most if not all would be focused on her.
Eyes narrowing on Alex slightly his hand turning over so he could clasp his hand in hers, ”Already forgotten then…” his hand twitched slightly as his stomach churned, either the alcohol left over in his stomach had decided that it was time to ruin this moment, or something else had happened that caused his stomach to knot up. ”Was that all that happened Alex, I have a feeling in the bit of my gut that there is something else that happened, something big…”
Alexandra gave only a nod when Sam promised once again that the last night episode wouldn't happen again. For his own good, she really hoped that it wouldn't. Sam was the first person she had opened up to in a long time, not to mention he was the first one she had a romantic interest into. She had taken her chances with him, she had decided to get over her 'no emotions' way of life and if Sam hurt her... she was certain that there would be hell to pay.
Although her mind was wandering, Alexandra kept her eyes and ears on Sam as he spoke again. His question surprised her and also disappointed her. He didn't remember what he'd asked her last night. Strangely, she was aware that this might happen from the moment he had popped the question but, unfortunately, this didn't do anything to soothe the feeling she was experiencing. Although the temptation to tell him that she was supposed to be his girlfriend now was high, she resisted it. She wanted to see his reaction, if he would be happy or back away but, making a quick scan of her feelings, she realized she wasn't ready to face his regret, if that happened to be the reaction. Instead, she shrugged and looked away at the window for a few moments. As her head turned back to face Sam she took a deep breath. "Nope. Nothing big happened." she replied, quickly using her acting skills to make herself smile.

Was that a fake smile? He had seen a lot of smile in his day most of which were fake but this one; it was in his opinion a real smile but a forced one. Did something ’big’ happen then? Was she lying? Sam didn’t like that… he didn’t like that one bit. ”Your not a very good liar are you Alex?” Sam asked curiously as his gripping on his hand gave he a quick squeeze to let her know he was looking for eye contact and the truth.
Sighing slightly his headache slowly starting to come back as the hamster on the wheel running his thoughts started to tucker out. He was getting dizzy but still wanted an answer, and she was going to give it to him, even if he had to do stuff to get it.
Leaning forward quickly hand still around Alex’s he pulled it causing her to become off balance from there he pivoted on his knees and landed on top of her forcing her waist in between his legs. ”Now let’s start with the not so big things then and go from there shall we?” Sam asked as he leaned forward and pinned her hands as small little cubes of ice formed down the line of her ribs and back ready to move on command. ”I have ways of making you talk…” Sam said with a sly smile as the ice pressed up against her ribs the coldness reaching through the shirt she was currently wearing.
Alexandra blinked. She was one of the best liars. So what happened? Why was Sam seeing trough her lie? Was she loosing her touch? Or... Or she wasn't trying hard enough to lie to him? Alexandra grew concerned with this, she didn't want to get sloppy, and it seemed that emotions were doing this to her. For the first time in a long period of time Alexandra was afraid. She was afraid that Sam would notice some other lies of hers.
Thoughts and concerns, everything was pushed away from her mind as Sam pulled at her hand. She fell to her side and rolled over searching for Sam with curious eyes. What exactly was he trying to do. "Sam, wh-" Words got stuck into her mouth as before she could even realize what was happening Sam was on top of her, blocking any movements she could have done with her upper body. What was in that mind of his?
”Now let’s start with the not so big things then and go from there shall we?”
To find out the truth, Alexandra received her answer. But what exactly was he planning to do to have tell him the truth, she wondered as Sam leaned forward, blocking the movements of her arms when he pinned her down. With the corner of her eyes she could almost see Bruno's head as the pet lifted up to see what was with all the noise. However she didn't have time to be concerned about Bruno's deranged sleep as she could feel the coldness forming on her skin.
”I have ways of making you talk…”
"You do?" Alexandra replied stubbornly, answering Sam's smile with one of her own and a slightly arched eyebrow. Ice sent a shivering sensation down her spine and she tried to push herself up in an attempt to escape but placed it back on the bed defeated. Nope, she wasn't escaping this one trying to fight back. She took one deep breath. If Sam was planning to make her talk, he would have to think of something better. After all... she was a molecule manipulator.

She wasn’t fully aware what he could do, or maybe she was simple playing hard to get with her stubborn response or the smile that she returned to him. Grinning now Sam nodded his head slightly before leaning forward near Alex’s ear. He breathed in slowly then whispered, ”You have no idea what I am capable of…” glad that this was before he shaved Sam leaned in closely and moved his lips to hers for a second before turning his face to his side and rubbing his stubble cheek against her smooth one.
Cruel and unusual? Maybe, but it was more unusual than anything else, he had no intention of harming her what so ever, everything he was doing was gentle. The ice cubes he created moments ago shook back and forth creating a vibrating motion from under Alex as Sam smiled his face no longer rubbing against hers, ”So other than my forgotten mistake what else did I do? Or was it something I said? Take your time, I can go for hours and this is only the beginning.” his head was inches from hers, he watched her facial expressions her eyes, anything that would give him a hint if she was to lie again.
