The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Ha. I fail to see how I'm the sidekick in all of this." Streak commented to her. Finally it seemed like Jewel was picking up on the footsteps. All he did was nod at her recognition of the footsteps. So he wasn't going crazy. That was always a good sign when it came to how crazy his life always seemed to get in this city. Most people would have dismissed the extra footsteps as another couple. Like Lily had suggested. Although there was a tone in her voice that suggested that she didn't quite believe what she was selling. His attention was soon divided between her and the footsteps that seemed to be getting closer and more instant that they were there and that they be recognized by the two mutants. Once again Streak glanced over his shoulder and found that there were three people behind them, all of which scattered like cockroaches when you turn a light on.
Fortunately for Streak they weren't quick enough and he was able to see their shapes. None of them looked like girls so that ruled out Lily's couple theory. He didn't get a good enough look at them but he did know that they weren't your usual late night walkers. Shawn turned back around watched where he was going. "You are with me. So it'd be more like you're walking with a mobile jewelry store than carrying one around with you." Streak quipped. There were more people than he'd originally counted. This is going to be tricky. Streak thought as he took another count of people that he saw that were just a little off to his side. As he looked back in front of them he saw a few more that were starting merge onto their path. Even though Lily had grasped his hand earlier he was only just now realizing that she had done so. "Man I hate ruining my clothes." Streak commented knowing what was coming next. The group started to move closer and closer to him and Jewel. This wasn't going to end well for someone. Whether it was him or them they weren't going to enjoy this as much as they might be thinking they will be.
Some of them were still trying to be sneaky while others were just blatantly obvious that they were coming after Streak and Lily. Streak found it apparent that they were very organized, or used to all working together because of their lack of decision on whether they were still sneaking or if they were going to just confront the mutants. He had an obligation to protect those that couldn’t do it for themselves, mainly because of the X-Men but also because he knew that Jewel wasn’t that good with fighting. One lesson with Sam wasn’t enough to make her confident enough to stand in a real fight, especially if there were more than one person involved. It did look like there were close to a dozen of them if not more all converging on Lily and him. Streak began to hope that they hadn’t seen Lily show him what she’d learned to do with her powers.
When she agreed to a night out with Shawn, Jewel wasn't sure where the whole thing was going. Getting away from the Mansion was goon enough in itself; getting to know the silver guy better was a bonus; a night in NYC should have been as much fun as it gets. She was naive enough to think the stolen car was all the trouble they would have to face for one night.
Streak heard the footsteps too. They were definitely there, and even she could tell the difference between what they heard and what a couple of wandering lovers would sound like. When men started to appear from among the shadows both behind them and in front of them, Jewel experienced the first tinge of fright. Just how many of them were there anyway? It seemed bit of an overreacting to one guy and a skinny girl. Either they enjoyed to gang up on people, or they knew... Uh-oh. She took a deep breath, and reached out with her powers once again. Tiny lights of bracelets, earrings and whatnot showed up here and there, not nearly enough of them to be of any use. She could feel the silver in Streak's body reacting. She was still holding his hand.
"Man I hate ruining my clothes."
He knew what she suspected: there was going to be a fight. She swallowed. Stay calm, gal, panicing does not solve the situation. Everything's gonna be fine. She glanced at Shawn. He looked composed and ready to act, but her instincs were telling her having someone to protect made his job a great deal more difficult. Damned if I'm going to be the damsel in distress.
"Shawn" she whispered, lips barely moving, as she kept her eyes on the slowly approaching men "I am going to need some silver."

Jewel seemed to be getting more and more worried by the minute as the group started to get closer to them. Streak couldn't bame her since he was started to get more anxious as well. Streak new exactly how to handle the situation. The only problem was that he didn't know how Lily would handle it. Apparently being with him gave her a little more confidence. She had already started to think about what she would need and do in the fight. Streak talked quietly but he didn't hide the fact that he was talking to her. "Take what you need. Just don't do anything yet. Especially if it has to do with weapons."
Streak then started to cover his body in silver. He started with the side that Lily was on so that she could start taking any of the silver that she needed for whatever it was that she was planning on doing. Personally he didn't care what she did with it as long as she didn't instigate the fight. As the silver covered the arm and hand that she was holding, blades appeared on his arms and ripped his jacket. The silver continued to crawl up the rest of his body, covering his face, arms, torso and lower extremeties. When the silver was completely covering it the blades poked through his clothes. Streak then retracted the blades because if they saw his blades no one could guess what weapons they might pull out in retaliation.
When Streak was finsihed with his silvering he looked at Lily. Shawn couldn't remember when or if Lily had ever seen him use his powers to this extent before. Streak didn't worry about forming any weapons just yet because he was still hlding Lily's hand and he wanted to know how her taking his silver would affect him before he tried to create anything. Another problem that Streak saw potential in was looking more and more like it was going to come to fruition. Thankfully it seemed like none of the group gathering around Lily and him didn't notice him change. It wouldn't take long before they noticed the change in him and possibly, depending on what she did, Lily's change as well.
(OOC: feel free to start interacting with them whenever)
"Take what you need. Just don't do anything yet. Especially if it has to do with weapons."
The pull of Jewel's powers followed his permission instantly. It was not strong; she took some silver from his skin tentatively, careful to avoid hurting him. She had no idea how this worked, so she started out slow. She'd seen Shawn in full silver before, but the blades ripping his jacket were something totally new. She suspected he had some kind of weapon when he used his powers in combat, but still, she didn't quite expect this. Once he was covered and retracted the blades, she pulled on the silver again. The cool metal slid up from Shawn's hand onto her arm, up to her shoulder, across her chest, and down the other arm. It left a strange, tingling feeling behind - the same she sensed whenever Shawn was near. She'd never worked with this kind of pure, organic silver before. It bended to her will much easier than her jewelry ever had. The shadow of a smile found its way to the corner of her lips. She covered her hands and forearms in silver, melting her bracelets into it. Under her dress she created something that could have been called a chest plate, thin enough to let her move freely, but still something that would block at least a couple of hits. Depending on the weapon. Jewel was truly surprised at herself. A couple of weeks ago she would have frozen up in panic, or shouted for help. And now here she was, calculating the possibilities of a fight with silver armour on. Wow. Deciding wether this change was good or bad... well, she'll do that later.
She let go of Shawn's hand with a nod (a gesture saying 'I'm fine'), and turned a half step so she was almost back to back with him. Looking at the men, she cleared her throat, and flashed a polite, innocent smile.
"Can we help you with something, gentlemen?..."
Jewel hadn't been in a fight before, but she was not stupid. These men were not the same caliber as the two who stole the car. There was no noise, no big talk, no swearing, no calling names. Actually, they were pretty silent. Their silence sounded much more menacing than any swearing ever would.

The pull that Jewel created on his powers was probably the weirdest sensation he’d felt in his entire life. Imagine yourself wearing a long sleeve skin tight shirt and you have someone else grab your shirt and gently try to pull it off you while you were still wearing it, only the shirt didn’t come off it just kept extending and extending until the other person had all that they needed. Aside from the weird sensation that Lily was giving Streak he also felt a little light headed. Little black spots appeared in front of his eyes like he’d taken a few to many photos with the flash on. Every time he blinked he saw the dark spots. He was, however, thankful when Jewel finished her pull on his powers because the light headedness went away almost instantly.
Streak shook his head once she released his hand. With his head now clear and his feeling back to normal he was ready to get down to business. There wasn’t much either of them could do at this point aside from starting the fight themselves. Starting fights was not something that Streak liked to do; however, he was good at ending them. Lily’s question went unanswered as the group moved closer. The click was a catalyst for the rest of the group. Seemingly all at once they all pulled out various weapons. Some were guns, some were knives, and others were simply pipes and bats that they’d probably found lying around or stolen from someone.
The silver man decided that it was probably about time that he chimed in. “So yall don’t like mutants. That’s cool. But you should realize one thing… that you won't accomplish anything by fighting us.” It may not have been a good argument but it was the best he could come up with when his mind wasn’t exactly focused on talking to these guys. His attention was more on the people’s posture and weapons they were holding. Even Streak’s own words didn’t spark a tone with them. He leaned closer to Jewel and said, “I don’t think they want to talk.” It was more than apparent to him but he wanted to let her know that little fact so that she didn’t get caught trying to talk to one of them and then get hit unexpectedly.
The click was the final straw. Everyone in that group was waiting for a signal and they got it with that click. It was almost as if someone had signaled the beginning of a race. People from all sides rushed in at once. When the rush happened Streak cast off his jacket for freer movement and looked for at the first person who was going to reach him. He swung a bat at Streak’s head. The silver mutant ducked and came up with the blades on his body extended. The batter swung again and Streak met it with his blades and sliced it into pieces. Mr. Babe Ruth over here was shocked when the mutant smiled at him as the bat fell to pieces, right before he was punched in the face. The first guy went down. He wasn’t unconscious, just a little dazed but that gave Streak enough time to block another attack that was coming. It seemed like more of the wanted to mess with Lily than with him. Streak intercepted one of the people with a knife and looked to see where Lily was and who might be attacking her.
"Fine by me." Jewel nodded "It wouldn't be a challenging conversation anyway." A glance at Shawn reassured her that pulling a fair amount of silver off him did not cause any harm. Apparently. Note to self: have a training session later to figure out the details... They attacked. All at once. It only took a split second to realize, and it didn't really register in her brain either, but a real fight as nothing like anyone would expect. From the movies. Surprise surprise. Bad guys don't queue up to wait for their turn to get hit. Jewel was as ready as she could be, but when two of them were in her face at once, she was just about overwhelmed. Number One on the left had a pipe in his hands; fortunately Number Two was not giving him enough space to take a decent swing. Jewel raised her arm just in time; metal hit metal with an echoing sound. The other guy had a bat too, but apparently he decided a skinny looking girl was not that much of a threat, and tried to grab her with his bare hands instead. So Jewel did the only thing every decent lady was raised to do when touched without permission: She slapped the guy. The good od Southern backhanded slap, together with a firm layer of quality metal did an excellent job: Number Two staggered backwards, cursing away, just realizing those elegant gloves of hers were not made of silk. Jewel took the opportunity to turn back to Number One just in time: he took a second too much to observe above mentioned gloves, and thus forgot about the shoes. The pain caused by a high heel colliding with his lower regions reminded him of his mistake. "Bitch!" Blood was drumming in Jewel's ears as she looked around; the guy was down for the count at the moment, but there were plenty to replace him. Judging by the sounds, behind her back Shawn was doing a good job kicking ass. Cheers. Number Two came back with a distinct red mark on his face, baring his teeth; he didn't bother to pick the bat up, just threw a punch at her face. His fist collided with a metal-covered palm, and because whatever came after that (in the big book of fighting fair) was not covered in Jewel's first training session, he got his fair share of the high heel too. Jewel backed away a step and drew a breath for the first time since... forever. It was a mistake. Two of them came at her again; on the left, a knife slid off her metal-covered arm, then she was yanked to the right by someone who grabbed her shoulder, and the two were trying to hold her down. Fighting got messy and not really predictable; she kicked someone again, and was called a bitch, then a balde slid off her chest plate, tearing her dress, and she could see the two faces really close up on both sides, and she snapped. "Back off!" The silver changed shape on both of her arms; spikes like those of a rose - a really huge, metal rose - shot up from the smooth surface, tearing into the hands holding her down, and burying themselves into the arms and chests of the two attackers. Both of them yelled in pain and fell back; Jewel staggered backwards too, pulling the silver back close to her skin, panting. About fifty seconds into the fight she was still alive. And standing. Unbelievable. Then the next hit came from behind, shooting sharp pain from her shoulderblade down her left arm, and someone yanked her head back by grabbing her hair. Jewel realized something: she wasn't talented in fighting. She just got lucky. And her luck was bound to run out real soon.

More and more of the people were leaving him alone and heading to Lily. It didn’t take long for him to knock out the guys that were still trying to fight him. Unfortunately they weren’t holding back when they went after Jewel. Streak was able to turn around and look to see how she was doing against her opponents. Thankfully she was still standing and still fighting. Streak ran into the bigger group and started fling people around. They were being tossed like rag dolls and once they realized they were out of the main brawl they came rushing back in after him. As far as Streak was concerned he was fine with more attacking him and less attacking her. He knew that she wasn’t a great fighter and she knew it too. Their opponents were about to find out soon as well. Streak’s attention was focused on fighting another person. This guy was smart enough to not use a weapon. That made things easier for Streak. Kicks followed kicks which followed punches. A couple good kicks to the head and the guy was unconscious.
Lily’s shout really got Streak’s attention. The silver guys head turned to look and see what was happening. He looked just in time to see her pulling silver spike things out of two of the opponents and stand up. Getting back up from the ground was always a good thing. Just then, as Streak was looking at Jewel, he got sucker punched really hard. “Ahh!” he cried and clutched his jaw. That one really hurt. He turned around to see what had hit him. As it turned out it was a big burly guy sporting brass knuckles. No wonder that hurt. Brass knuckles what a cheap shot. He thought. The silver mutant was attacked by another barrage of punches from brass knuckle guy. Even though he was being punched at Streak continued to fight him. His punches didn’t seem to be affecting the guy at all, so he tried a different approach. Streak formed a staff that was about the same height as he was. This tactic alone made the man cower a little. He quickly recovered and started to attack the silver mutant. Shawn gave him a couple hard hits. The loud crack could be heard throughout the commotion. After one good stab the brass knuckles guy went down and gasped for breath. Streak didn’t care about his breath after that because when the guy went down he saw Lily get hit in the back and grabbed. Big mistake. One more loud, strong crack and brass knuckles was out for the count.
Streak quickly pulled his staff back to himself and formed a knife out of remaining part of the staff. The silver mutant took aim and threw the knife into the guys back. Once the knife had left his hand he ran over to Lily. The knife reached the man before he got there so there was enough time for him to he grabbed Lily’s arm and pulled her away from the man as he fell to the ground. It seemed like most of the opponents seemed stunned enough to pause for a second. Streak knew that they had bitten off more than they could chew when they’d threatened him and Lily. She may not have been a great fighter but he was even better when there was someone else’s life to worry about. “You alright?” Streak asked Lily as he looked into her eyes. As he waited for a reply he could hear groans and shuffling as people started to get back up. Some other’s were picking up their weapons again. One thing was certain to him. And that was that they weren’t going to take any chances again. They’d beaten them once and their opponents weren’t going to let it happen again. When would they attack again? Would they wait and regroup or would this turn into a free for all against two mutants.
Things were on fast mode. One second Jewel was grabbed and pulled down by the guy behind her; the next, Shawn was there, catching her before she hit the ground. Oh, so this is how being saved feels like. For the moment. Jewel held on to Streak's shoulder as she caught her breath and regained her balance. She did it pretty quick, even with pain pulsing in waves from her shoulder to her fingertips. Lifting her left arm, she tentatively moved it around, and winced, biting her lip. "I might have something broken here." She didn't add the swear word, but one was definitely meant there. Shaking her hair out of her eyes she looked around. Shawn seemed to have made a fair job knocking people out. Unfortunately some were still standing, or picking themselves back up, and it looked like the fight was far from over. Jewel let go of Streak and took the time to adjust her chest plate. Adding some silver from her left arm she covered her injured shoulder. The cool metal felt good for the pain. She made sure it held in place. Looking aroun again, she watched the rest of their attackers gather into a group - they seemed to have figured out they were not going to win without some real teamwork. Jewel frowned. Not good. The silver on her right arm formed itself into a blade. She glanced at Shawn. "Any plans?..."

“I’ll take a look at that when we get out of this.” Streak replied to her taking a quick glance at her shoulder. Another glance around told him that they were more prepared this time. They learned fast that a group attack might prove useful to them. The look on Jewel’s face agreed with what Streak was thinking. This wasn’t a good thing.
The weapons they held also weren’t a good thing. “Not really. I was just kind of going by luck here.” He took her lead and formed a couple of small knives that would be suitable for his self defense. Ironically the only thing that came to his mind was how much this actually looked like an execution squad. They were lined up single file with weapons in hand facing the two mutants. If the first time was easy the second time was going to be harder.
This fact was obvious to everyone. They were still out numbered but they were all tired and by this time their injuries should have started to really hurt if they weren’t already. Judging by the way all of their opponents were moving they were either slow and taking their time, or they were moving with deliberation and had some kind of plan in mind. In actuality it was easier to fight them the way they were, compared to when they were scattered at the beginning of this fight.
As Streak had figured out through training, he knew it was easier when they were all lined up and you could see them all at the same time. “If we can keep them like this then we should be able to beat them fairly easily again.” Streak mentioned to Lily. Maybe now that they were a little more worn out they would feel like talking to them. “Do yall feel like talking now?” Streak asked the group in front of them. He wasn’t really expecting an answer but it would be nice for a change. The silver mutants stood there in silence as he waited for someone, perhaps the leader, to answer his question.
“Not really. I was just kind of going by luck here.” Not that was comforting. Jewel frowned. Going by luck might work if you have been living the X way of life for years and are a well-built guy trained in all kinds of combat, but for a lady like her... well, tough luck. The men who were still standing lined up in some kind of formation. Not good. Not good at all. Jewel's eyes narrowed as her gaze slipped from one opponent to the other. They had all kinds of weapons, and a menacing way of holding them too. “If we can keep them like this then we should be able to beat them fairly easily again.” Like we beat them the first time. Jewel shook her head. The pain in her shoulder was getting worse, and bringing her mood down with itself too. Just trust Shawn. He knows what he's doing. Hopefully. This time it was Shawn who tired to talk to them; as they stood waiting for some kind of answer, or at least a reaction, Lily shifted her hand on the sword's hilt, and looked at their opponents again. None of them were answering. In fact, very few were looking at them directly. Jewel tilted her head. Something was not right. If they had no intention answering, what were they waiting for?... Looking along their line again, the Southern belle racked her brain trying to put her finger on something that was off about this picture. Knives. Bats. Pipes. Brass knuckles. Click. Jewel's eyes widened. She remembered now. "Shawn, didn't one of them have a..." BANG. Gun.

Streak realized he wasn’t getting an answer from them about the time that Lily did. There was something different about them. He scanned the group’s eyes in front of him. They weren’t paying much attention to those that they were attacking. It was more like they were just blindly attacking whoever seemed to get across their path, and those someone’s that happened to cross the group’s path was Lily and Streak. Lily brought the one thing that he happened to forget while he was fighting all the rest of them. The realization of what he had forgotten came back to him with a rush of noise and a flash of light. A gun. How could I forget? The fact of what he was happening and how much of a stupid mistake he had made hit him like a run away truck. Literally. A small bullet sized truck. Streak cried out in pain.
It’s said that your life flashes before your eyes before you die. He may not have been about to die but he did seem to relive a lot of things from his life. He was a kid, learning to ride a horse for the first time back on his ranch, a few more indistinct moments flashed before he was able to recognize that he was now staying at the mansion. He was happy and meeting new people, trying new things and even joining in on parties. He watched himself evolve over the time and see his powers grow. He was then watching himself once again relive the trials that he went through at the camps. The pain seemed to come back to him along with the blood that was seeping out of the bullet wound in his chest. Then he was looking at himself once again much more recently training people and meeting Lily. Seconds seem to tick by very slowly, or quickly, however you want to look at it. Whenever one was reliving ones life, time was something that mattered very little. Streak’s eyes opened again as the visions of his life subdued. He was back, standing in front of a big line of people that were very angry.
His blood was running freely from the wound in his stomach below his ribs. Streak gripped the wound and proceeded to apply pressure and cover it with his own silver band aid. The blood was still seeping out a bit; however, it was slowed down a lot from Streak using his silver to stop it. The pain was still evident. It wasn't going to go away. The silver man continued to draw in short, sharp breaths which continued to cause him pain every time he would breath. Now that he was severely wounded he needed to focus on not getting to careless and slow. Getting to slow could prove very bad for him and for Lily. Shooting. Such a cheap and cowardly move. Fighting hand to hand was a lot more respectable and it gave your opponent a chance to fight back. But with guns there was o fighting back, especially if they were hit in the right spot. Why didn't he shoot again? Streak wondered quickly before he was charged at again. This was the time to end this. All their opponents were equipped with weapons. Streak turned the knives in his hands into a sword. Once his sword was completely formed, he ran it across his left arm. As he did this, a shield appeared on his arm. Along with the other blades that were already on his body he was positive that they would have a really hard time getting to him or through him. The first one to reach Streak was one with a pipe. He swung it hard and landed with a loud CLANK against the mutants shield. The pipe rolled off his shield and he swung up with his sword.
There was a very simple answer to why the man with the gun did not shoot again: He was lying on the ground, gasping for air.
When the shot rang out, time stopped for Lily and so did everything else. She'd experienced a lot of things since her powers manifested, and it became clear that her life'd changed forever - she experienced confusion, and sadness, and then shame, and guilt, and then hope, and a whole variety of emotions, but the one that filled her mind in this moment, pushing everything else aside, was fear. Pure, and more powerful than ever before. And then her mind hit the fast-forward button, and things started happening. Shawn grasped at the wound, and covered it with silver, but still, he was obviously in a lot of pain. Lily hadn't seen people get shot before in real life, but she was pretty sure he shouldn't be standing with a wound that severe. And then, when his silver formed weapons, and he kept fighting no matter how hard it was for him to stand, a rush of adrenaline washed out the fear and replaced it with anger. Lily spun around, and glared at the man who was still holding the gun, aiming for a second shot. Her eyes narrowed. The stupid bastard was wearing a neclace made of gold. The gun hit the ground, and a second later so did he, grasping his neck with both hands, trying to get rid of the piece of jewelry that miraculously turned agains thim and wound around his neck, blocking all the air. Lily stood with her arm stretched towards him, and suddenly became aware of the racket of the fight behind her. Some of the attackers realized their boss (?) was down, but most of them didn't. "Stop it! NOW!" It was sharp, and commanding, and definitely louder that she thought it would be. With blood drumming in her ears, she watched as the men turned towards her, apparently more than a little bit surprised at her new attitude. The man on the ground made a desperate sound, gasping for air. They looked at him, then back at Lily. She was flushed, and determined, and pissed off. They didn't get the attention of all of them, but definitely drew most of them away from Shawn. Now just keep them occupied. "That's right. I'm a mutant. And you have no idea what I can do to you." she yelled at them, making a gesture with her left hand. The man ont he ground shuddered and turned more pale, fighting for air. She hoped they wouldn't figure out how she was doing it. "Now. All of you. Run. Away." she said, pressing every word. Usually she wasn't good at threatening people, but right now, the adrenaline was doing all the talk. One of the men swung the bat he was holding in his hand, and grinned at her with a grin that was obviously trying to hide other emotions. "And if we don't, missy?" Jewel's eyes narrowed as she looked at him. "You have golden teeth." "Yeah, then what?" Lily's right hand came up and in one swift movement it closed into a fist. The man dropped the bat, bent over, and slapped his hands onto his mouth, spitting out a fair amount of blood. "I won't tell you twice. Run."

Streak was fighting as well as he could. It wasn't easy considering the fact that he was wounded and his blood was still seeping out of the makeshift band aid he'd used. The strike from Streak's sword cut deep on his opponents arms. The man released the weapon he was holding immediately started screaming in pain. The silver mutant was only seconds away from being by someone else's weapon. He saw it coming out of the corner of his eye. The only problem was he was to slow. The wound had slowed his reactions and the mans bat glanced off his shield and hit him hard in the shoulder. The pain in his shoulder only amplified the pain in his stomach. Another problem then arose. Streak couldn't move his left arm. It actually seemed to be hanging a little lower to his side than it usually does. the pain pulsed through his arm, down to his wound and back again.
Now he was moving even slower. He was glad when a majority of the guys seemed to start paying attention to what Lily was doing to the man with the gun. Well at least he used to have a gun. He'd dropped it and was now gripping his throat. Some of the others had turned and moved on to threatening her. The remaining ones that were facing him were starting to lose their attention on him. He continued to fight them with only one arm working. He couldn't lift his shield to block things so he needed to move out of the way as best he could. Unfortunately every once in a while they would hit his shield and that would send even more pain pulsing through his body. A wheel kick seemed to be the answer to his dilemma. They were all lined up and it was one of the easiest ways to finish them. He threw all he could into the move. After his foot raised off the ground he felt his heel connect with one, two, three jaws. As he put his foot down they went down. It was very Chuck Norris-y about it but he didn't care because it was effective. On the ground that is.
Streak looked around four guys down and every one else was looking in horror at Lily. The one guy who was stupid enough to stand up to her was now giving off muffled cries of pain as he gripped his mouth. The display she was putting on seemed to be working for their benefit. Many of them were willing to leave at this point. Well those that could leave were willing to leave. "Jewel. Stop." Streak spat out as cradled his arm and wound close to his body. Those that could still stand and were aware of what was going on seemed to all come to the realization at once. They fled as fast as they could. Streak walked up to her and placed his one good arm around her. The sword was slowly pulled back into his body. Once the sword was gone he started to retract the shield. Seeing as all that were conscious had left Streak didn't feel the need to keep his weapons out. That and he didn't think he could keep them much longer. His breathing had become ragged and short again. Slowly he could feel the wound starting to clot.
"Jewel. Stop." Lily let out a shaky breath, and her arms droped to her sides; the man on the ground was half unconscious by now, and panted with a whistling sound in his throat as he struggled to his feet and scampered after the others. In a matter of minutes, they were left alone (not counting the bodies of hurt and/or knocked out people all around). Jewel stood panting, her heart pounding against her ribs, and as the rush of adrenaline started to wear off, she could feel her limbs going weak. She was aware of Shawn's arm around her, and made a heroic effort to pull herself together. Not yet, girl, not yet. You can break down later. Turning to look at him, she winced - he looked... well, he looked like someone who got shot and cut and beaten up. She could tell that he was using up his last shreds of strength to stand. "Shawn, are you...." No, he's obviously not all right, you idiot "... let's get you back to the car." Putting her right arm around him - the one that was not hurt - she walked with Shawn back across the park to the car. She was careful not to cause more pain than the wounds themselves. She could sense him pulling the silver onto and around the wounds, and because he was much taller and heavier than she was, she used some of her powers to help him keep standing and walking. Once they got back to the car, she turned to him again "Give me the keys, I'm driving. We'll be back in the Mansion in to time, okay? Just don't pass out on me."

Streak slowly carried himself along while Jewel helped him back to the car. The silver from the rest of his body was starting to disappear as he pulled it back in. The only places left covered were his torso and his possibly dislocated shoulder. Lily was going to drive? He hadn't let someone drive his car in... Ever. But since he was in no condition to drive, he was also in no condition to argue. Tenderly and slowly he fished out his keys from his pocket. "Here." Streak said as he handed her the keys. There was nothing for him to say about the matter. all he wanted to do was to get back to the mansion and to heal as fast as he could. If he shoulder was going to heal he needed someone to check it out and put it back in socket.
The car was still right where they thad left it a little while ago. It didn't seem like they're night out was going very well. Actually it was going rather badly. His car had been stolen, they had been attacked by a gang and in the process he'd been shot and beaten. "Let's get out of here." He said as he climbed into the car and buckled himself in."I hope you're a good driver." Streak said trying to lighten the mood. He continued to take in sharp breaths. There was nothing he could do to prevent it because the pain was to much for him to take normal and even breaths. He could only hope that they got back soon because he would make it a point to see the doc first thing.
