The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

What a day to sleep. Warm weather, nice breeze from a fan. What a way of waking up but wait a minute. Cailyn didn't have a fan in her room. It would mess up her puzzles. She had no windows open, where did this breeze come from. This was very odd. She twitched her nose as she slowly opened her eyes. Hello ceiling and light, but it wasn't the ceiling and light she knew and rememberd. This one was different, and moving very slowly. Why was the ceiling moving ?! She looked around her and she wasn't even in her own bed. She was in the air ! What was going on here?
In all the confusion she started looking around really fast. She was in a bookstore or library, floating in the air. She never knew she could teleport. Was this a new power of some sort, very weird and all. She looked at her hand and it was all foggy and not her hand at all. It scared her and she let out a high pitched Eep. At that moment her hand became "normal" again and she fell down to the ground with a bonk on her butt. Her butt hurt now and she rubbed it as she tried to get up. But then she turned into the see-through fassion as she was before. Was she dead?! How could she be dead. She paniced and tried to move to the door but it didn't work very well.
Luckely for her there was a fan nearby that turned a 90 degrees corner every once in a while. It passed by every now and then blowing the ghost Cailyn to the door closer and closer. This was going to take forever. She then remember how to swim. She tried to move through the air like it was water. It worked slighty but not very well. How was she ever going to find out if she died like this. Maybe some of the other ghosts would come and teach her, like on TV. Sadly most ghosts on TV weren't very nice though. What was she going to do. There she was floating around, being blown to a door at a speed of 0.000001 miles per hour. What a crummy way of spending time as a ghost. Atleast there where no voices telling her what to do now. One of the very convinient changes of being a ghost now.

((OOC: Here's a Full Circle NPC to interact with. Have fun.))
The lock clicked. The back door swung open. With a slight jingle, keys folded back into a black leather pocket. A pair of steel-toed leather boots tromped over the rug. It was early. Too early. The taste of a hastily-snagged jelly donut and a cup of designer coffee still lingered in Aurum’s mouth. He glanced at the automated security system, then reached up to tap in a code. A green light lit up, a beep. Everything was good to go. Aurum pressed a hand against his face as he glanced at a hanging mirror on the wall of the hall. He reached up to twiddle with a brownish-blonde tuft of hair that hung over his eyes. He was beginning to look like a weeping willow. It’d be time for a change soon. He smirked at his clean-shaven mug, then walked into the inventory room. He jerked a green apron off the wall, and replaced it with his leather jacket. Now he was just a guy in a white business shirt and an apron, ready for the day’s grind. Which reminded him, today was Friday. French Blend. Nice.
A sound from the main room jerked his mind out of the beans. He swiveled to face a row of bookcases and called out.
“That you, Ghost? Fell asleep in the stacks again, eh? Well, I‘m just unlocking now. I‘ll be with you in a second.” His fingers fumbled with the strings at the back of the apron, jerking it into a knot. A minute later, he waltzed into the main room to witness the oddness of an air elemental. “… You okay?” He blinked. The wispy white form he’d seen before drifted helplessly towards a doorway. He glanced from he to the room fan, and back again, confused. What exactly was she trying to accomplish here? More importantly, would it interfere with brewing beans.
Somebody came into the library. Or atleast it sounded like somebody did. The person probable went on with his or her normal routine in the library. Maybe the person worked here, maybe it was somebody who wanted a book. Who knew.
“That you, Ghost? Fell asleep in the stacks again, eh? Well, I‘m just unlocking now. I‘ll be with you in a second.”
She was a ghost of somebody! Panic struck but it didn't help much seeing as she couldn't travel anywhere yet. The voice definantly sounded male, and a bit familiar aswel. Who could it be. Would it be the person who kept pet ghosts and somehow she ended up here. Maybe the local ghost trainer, like on TV. This was getting very strange seeing as she herself was inching slowly towards the door.
“… You okay?”
And there he was. The young man from the bookstore who wanted to have a riddle contest with her when she wasn't a ghost yet. "Uhmm, Boo?" She said to the young man. Was she haunting the store that she ended up every once in a while. This was getting all to strange.

Aurum stared at the back wall through Ghost for a second. Wispy hair and glassy eyes shrouded the rack of Dickens behind her. He frowned inwardly, trying to place where the humor lay in a Ghost saying 'boo'. "Boo," He replied. Aurum shifted his attention uncomfortably from the smoky outline of the woman towards the coffee bar. Caylee hopped down from a shelf and stared, wide-eyed, up at the wraith. This was her haunt. Why was some silly specter encroaching upon her territory? Caylee licked the back of her paw cattily, shirking the thought. What did it matter? Her master'd scare the baleful siren away soon enough. Not even a wail from that whale could repel the white-haired waif's spray bottle spritz. She strutted past the floating air elemental, and brushed up against Aurum's leg conspiratorially.
The brunette bent down in front of the counter to brush fingers against the milky white fur of the cat’s neck. “So, I was thinking I’d help with inventory later, since you said you needed extra hands…” He looked up at the apparition with a weak smile. She was in that form, still… it had been a while since he’d last seen her in that form. Almost a lifetime ago. The last time, she’d been injured, and… he frowned. “Any particular reason you’re taking an ethereal jaunt?”
“Any particular reason you’re taking an ethereal jaunt?”
Strange set of words. Was it normal for the person who was talking to her to see and talk to ghosts like that. This was all getting a bit weird for her, and that was just a understatement. Not only found herself in a ghostly body but with a person who acted like it was the most normal thing in the world. All the other things he said about inventory ment nothing to her. She was very clueless where she was. She looked at the little cat who was licking her paw and ogling her. It was a very nice looking cat. The one you just want to pick up and cuddle. However the cat didn't like her presence that much though.
"I'm a ghost, am i not? " She asked the person. It was a bit of a statement aswel. "Anyways, where am i?" She quickly added a bit ashamed of herself. She should know where she was when she woke up, shouldn't see. If not and this would be a recuring thing, she would have to start getting out more.

"Er... Full Circle. Are you feeling alright, Ghost? You're usually more tangible... both mentally, and physically." Aurum blinked. If this was a joke, the punchline had missed its mark.
The back door creaked open. Aurum's attention spun towards the noise. "Hey, Shin... uh..." A rather large red giant bumbled around a bookcase. Aurum's eyes widened. "You aren't shin... hey buddy. Only employees are allowed to use that entrance. I'm gonna have to ask you to leave..."
"But, it's me. Shin." The red giant put a smothering hand to his chest for emphasis. He glanced back at the stacks and called for Kasumi to come out, then turned his attention back to the brown-haired shop clerk. "Aurum, something is very wrong here... we woke up this morning outside our own bodies... I woke up in this guy here, and..." He jabbed a thumb back at the girl. "Kasumi woke up in her."
"I'll say something weird is happening... what reason do I have to believe either of you is telling the truth?"
"Because I covered for you that time you spilled coffee all over that new release..." Shinbyss crossed his arms. If Aurum didn't believe they were telling the truth, this could be bad. It had already been enough work fitting through the cramped back door... he didn't want it to hit him on his way out.

Kasumi is right behind Shin as she looks around soon she waves to Ghost and smiles soon she speaks "It is true... Ghost it is me.. I do not know how it happened. I mean I miss my spots. " Shakes her head as she sighs "I sound like a nut case. How can I prove that I am really me?" She closes her eyes and thinks something something soon she claps her hands "The poll party someone lost there top Shin used his shards to save the poor girl while Koga got her top back!"
Kasumi hoped that it was enough for Ghost to see that she is the real deal. She did not want to think that she is lieing. Kasumi did not like this at all she blinks away some tears as she lets out a small eepp god she wanted her old body back more then anything. She did not mind her body she loved everything about it.
