The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Sara’s sight was back again an she actually found herself stumbling around more than a few hours ago when she couldn’t see with her eyes, but instead, could sense movement. The movement of everything around her, and the movement of herself. Trouble making tail included.
Sara was currently enjoying what was left of the day, outside, on the mansion grounds. There was maybe 40 minutes before the sun began to set, and the thought of sitting still inside till it was completely dark, sounded like a genuinely boring time. Plus the German Shepard, Roxxie, who Sam had given to Sara to take care of liked the outside more than the inside. Yeah, that’s right. The excursion outside was more for the dog.
Roxxie trotted back and forth, weaving a path around Sara with her head down, sniffing the grass here and there. Sara had a leash that was folded so that it looped around one of the back belt loops of her faded jeans and dangled just past her knees. Every now and then the leash bumped into her tail, but other than that, it was forgotten. Sara Saw little to no need for the leash. To be honest if the dog started to wonder too far, Sara was fast enough to correct Roxxie before she got into trouble. An argument the two of them had already sorted out. In fact Roxxie had learned Sara’s rules to how far she could wander so well that most of the time, she spent was on the edge of the space she was allowed. Just because she could. Roxxie was had learned what Sara would allow her to do, and Sara was still realizing the fact that she now had a dog.
Sara closed her eyes as the warmth from the sun started to penetrate her fur and she could feel some of her muscles start to melt into relaxation around her shoulders and the open section of her lower back. Just below the hem of her shirt.
Absentmindedly, Sara’s right ear flicked back to follow the sound of Roxxie’s paws on the grass as the dog found a thick stick in a bush and started wrestling it free. Sara cracked her eyes open just as Roxxie started trotting back with the stick and nudged her paw like hand with it just before pulling her head away to tease Sara with the dogs newest toy. Roxxie’s tail swished back and forth across the tops of the grass as she trotted away, then looked back at Sara, and rounded her way back, to tap Sara’s hand with the stick.
The game repeated twice more, each time with Sara opening her hand for the stick, and the dog dodging it, till Sara’s fingers closed around the toy, and Roxxie instantly dropped it into Sara’s hands. Roxxie went straight into fetch mode. Doing a sort of side ways run with all her attention on the stick. Dogs were always so easy to please.
Sara shook her head. A small smirk had formed on her face. As much as she hadn’t been sure she could handle having a dog, this was one of the good parts about it. Not to mention Sara could mess with Roxxie’s head as much as Roxxie liked to think she was messing with Sara’s. Sara turned around and through the stick in the opposite direction Roxxie had started to run. The dog’s tail kept wagging anyways, as Roxxie took off after the stick.

Having 'slept', as he calls it, for roughly 500 years gave Jeramya a fairly accurate internal clock and when sunrise and sunset were going to happen, give or take a half hour to an hour. When he put out the single candle on his table and headed out of his room via the tunnel to see the sunset. He took his tool bag with him, clutched in his teeth since his 'hands' were occupied with propelling him forward through the underbrush. Having taken this route at least twice a day or more since a little after arriving and never encountering anyone, Jeramya was completely surprised and blindsided by a dog larger than himself came rushing toward him.
"AHHhhy!" He yelped out as he and the dog collided. While his bag went flying away as he rolled away, Jeramya was so shocked that he partially shifted back to normal. A somewhat formed horn sticking out from his head, his lower jaw protruded and showed his teeth, his body was somewhat malformed as one side attempted to extend to it's normal length.
While this had never happened before and would have fascinated him at any other time, the fact that a rather large dog, who he had collided with, was standing very close with teeth bared held his full attention. When it began to bark quite loudly, in his face, he couldn't help but be startled again, jump back, yelp again and stare very wide-eyed at the dog just hoping it wouldn't bit him.
If Sara was paying complete attention to her surroundings, she would have certainly not have thrown the stick in that Direction. Unfortunately the stick had already left her hand by the time she saw the odd little mutant.
Roxxie didn’t see him either and as a result she crashed right into him. The dog hit the ground with one shoulder but was right back on her feet in surprise, and confusion barking. Sara’s ears flicked back as she flinched at the sound. “Roxxie, Down!” Sara said as she moved forward. She instantly put herself between dog and odd little mutant. One hand snagged Roxxie’s collar as the dog went to lean around Sara to bark again. How embarrassing. Sara’s nose was darkening, in the dimming light. “Hey, are you alright?” She asked the odd little mutant. Roxxie sat on Sara’s other side with Sara’s attention divided.

There was a rumbling of a distant, the distinct sound of a Twin Cam engine.. those whom know this sound, will know it is a harley rolling down the street heading in the direction of Sara.. This individual on the harley Camo pants, an pea green jacket, with spots on the arm, where patchs were ripped off.. Those whom didn't know better would swear he had a helmet on that looked draconic, but this was not the case, because it was his normal self..
"Roxxie, Down!" A female voice shouted to, he assumed the dog. He made no movement nor that he heard the woman's words at all, at least not until Roxxie moved to stand next to her. Her being a walking cat-person. Once Roxxie was at her side she spoke again. Jay looked at her and attempted to answer, "Ah sling thlo." His words were quite slurred as he spoke. Once he realized this he looked at himself, surprised at how strange he looked. Reaching up with one hand to feel his face he realized why it was so hard to talk, only half of his mouth was formed correctly. He held up a hand, palm towards her and his index finger up in a 'one moment please' gesture.
Not sure how he only partially changed forms Jay concentrated on himself, to the exclusion of everything else around him. Generally the process was fairly easy and relatively quick, but it took a minute or two for him to get his body in order, to get his body to pick a form. When he was done he leaned forward onto his hands and wrapped his wings around him before standing. "Ahh, thank you for your concern, I'm alright."
Stepping towards her he held out his hand, "Jeramya Olax. I'm sorry if I startled Roxxie. I'm not use to seeing other people, or animals, over this way. I should look before leaping as the saying goes."
Sara’s first thought was on the mutant’s speech. It took her a moment of repeating what he said in her head, to figure it out exactly. It was a bit of a surprise to her when he shifted back to something less rocky and his speech was completely normal. Mean while Roxxie was at Sara’s heal calming down. Sara didn’t pet her till she ha stopped the sharp barks and had moved on to a little confused sort of whine. That was quickly remedied by Sara throwing the stick and she took off after it. Catching it in mid air.
“Good to know you’re not hurt.” Sara said as she watched the dog weave her way back to them at a trot. “It’s not a problem. I believe you startled my dog, Roxxie, as much as she startled you. She’s normally a very tolerant dog.” Considering she even let Sara in the same room with Sam, the first time Sara was meeting with the dog, was saying a lot. “By the way. My name is Sara Nobes.”
“If you want your solitude, I can take Roxxie somewhere else.” Sara said as a form of apology. She understood wanting to have alone time very well. If that’s what he wanted she’d respect his wishes.
A familiar motorcycle sound caught her attention as Roxxie finally reached her and shoved the stick in Sara’s hand then turned around to look at the approaching Motorcycle as well. “And this Dragon man coming our way is Ayesac.” Sara said as she waved to him.

Pulling up towards the curb, he kicked the stand down, as he got off the bike, he leaned it in the direction he was stepping off.. He offered there werecat a smile.. "well, Hello there my kitten." looking to the dog.. "and Mr. Rufflestiltskin." giving a glance to the Gargoyle, he really didn't care how the person looked, as long as they didn't mess with his girl, or pull anything stupid, hopefully, they were smarter then that.
Ayesac walked to Sara's side, placing his arm around her hip.. "I've been busy in canada.."

"Pleasure to meet you."
Jeramya knelt down low, balancing on the balls of his feet while he held out his hand toward Roxxie, palm up. He smiled, "Sorry about that Roxxie. Friends?" Looking up at Sara for a moment before looking toward the Ayesac and pausing. "Oh, not at all. I don't mind company. A change of pace and meeting new people is good."
As he approached, Jeramya stood up to a comfortable height as he listened to how the man spoke. It seemed they knew each other fairly well, especially how he said 'my kitten', Jay assumed the two were together or at least quite familiar. He held his hand out to the man in greeting, "Jeramya Olax. I have to admit, I don't believe I've seen you around here before. Somewhat of a rarity considering my usual perch on the roof." He gave a lighthearted chuckle.
Jay raised his eyebrow as a thought struck him and began to look around. "Forgive me, I..ah," He turned in place while he glanced around, "Seem to have lost my tools." He said as he moved just slightly and began to search the underbrush near him
(Please excuse me if i have some odd gramar marks here. The roomie`s computer is messing with my head on purpose.)
Sara walked over and gave Ayesac a hug, though even her, being a foot tall cat, put her just a little too short to comfortable put her arms around his shoulders. So it was a tight squeeze around his ribs. The really mushy stuff could be saved for later. "hello there big red. Missed you."
Mean while Roxxie had hesitantly sniffed Jeramya`s hand. her tail relaxed seeing that Sara had no problem with this boy who knocked her down, and Ayeac had no problem with him, so the dog figured she shouldn`t have a problem either, and withing seconds her tail slowly swept back and forth into a dignified wag.
It seemed roxxie and sara had a few things in common, because when jeramya turned and started looking for something in the low under brush, it took Roxxie two seconds to find the little case with Jeramya`s tools. (hope i got that detail right.) Roxxie promptly scooped up the case, claiming it as a new toy, nudged Jeramya with the edge f it, then danced just out of his reach.

(same goes for me)
Ayesac wrapped his arms around Werecat, giving her a squeeze, while picking her up slightly.. "Hey there kitten." Ayesac smiled, as he looked into her eyes. His eyes turned to Jeramya and to Roxie, whom was greeting them in her own way. With his arm still around Sara, he extended his right hand to Jeramya, "Sup? The Name is Ayesac, I`ve been around, but not as often as I wanted to, being business keeps me away sometimes... along with other things" He smirked a little, Watched Jeramya turn... "Lost tools? looking at roxie whom seemed to vanish into the underbrush.. "Ya gave her a mission!"
He took a few steps towards the brush... "interesting".. looking at the box "what sorta tools?"
