Darius continued to chomp on his apple he got from the dining room as he walked along the mansions main path and sat up against a statue looking at the clear blue sky, a bird flew by over ahead. I hope she takes up my offer of meet out here he thought to himself about Deathstar I really want to see if this works, if it does shes really gonna enjoy herself. Darius checked his watch She might be busy don't worry he thought as he had a nice suprise for her. With one last bite he finished the rest of his apple and threw it into the air and released a tiny clear beam of light from his pupil catching it on fire which turned to ash by the time it hit the ground. Ha thats actually my first time I've used an ability here he thought laughing slightly to himself Should be careful though I was just lucky with it that time. Darius still didn't have full control, on that side of his abilties.
Deathstar slowly but sure left the dining room and went out on the mansion grounds only to find darius, eating an apple, she stood for a moment just to watch him, she really enjoyed his company but didn't want show interstest, because she is deathstar never to fall for anyone in fear that her sister might appear and take his life, which would end up being another void in her life that she did not want to happen...
she step out on the lawn, as she sees him use his amazing powers, burning the apple to ashes... thats a good to way to dispose of your trash she says as she walks behind him , not knowing she was there all along.... So whats up?...You got something?.. she stood there gazing in darius eyes can't help but feel chills go through her spine
He saw Layla approach and he leaped up to greet her "Hey ya" he said leaning against the statue trying to read her mood. " I've been asking around to find out a little more about my fellow mutants here." he paused and began to unzip his jacket "And well, I've been told you have an incredible gift" he said taking of his jacket leaving only his vest on. Darius paused for a second and then tensed, suddenly two wings shot out of his back which he expanded as wide as they could go. The silky feathers reflected light off them making them glisten. He step towards Deathstar holding out his hand. "I want to show you something but I can only do it with your help, touch my hand take as much as you need you won't hurt me" he said extending his hand out futher to her.
Deathstar stood in her presence not moving, admiring his wings, they were beautiful but she was reluctant to do what he says, she begins to back away.. No, Darius you don't want me to do this, I can hurt you...don't let me do this to you she said looking away, not ever in her life backing from using her powers, she turned down his request, no matter what his powers can do , she can hurt him temporarily and permanenent damage....
Darius sighed "Your right not only that but it would be irrisponsable of me as you might end up taking my other more dangerous powers too, hey don't worry about it." he said as his feathers dropped of one by one until eventually they all fell to the floor and the bones of his wings turned to dust and blew away in the wind. "Sorry for wasting your time, but hey thanks for coming" he said as he turned away and start to head back to the mansion. Before he got too far an idea sprang into his head "Hey Layla" he said sin back around to her "How you feel about showing me the danger room, still haven't seen it and I've been dying to have a go in there" he said hoping he might get a chance to stretch his muscles.
Deathstar turns around and looks at darius, I've been there once, Tricity said only official X-men can go in there it can be a little dangerous, but I go in there anyways, cause no on e can tell me what to do... she heads back to the mansion and immediately stops, You never wasted my time, someone who just met me, who likes me for me, is my time well spent. once again deathstar was speaking from her heart, she is really falling for darius, but only if he knows it....
she continues walking towards the mansion, a stops before she gets to the door, are you coming or are you just going to stand there she says to darius insisting that he follows her to the danger room
Darius looked at Deathstar with an unsure look "I haven't even talked to Tricity yet I don't want to get her all annoyed with me for something like the Danger Room sorry Star I just can't hey maybe once I've had a good chat with her" he said feeling bad again as he felt like he was letting Deathstar down in some way.
