“I had an idea of what yer powers were but I didn’t want to say something and risk offending you again.” Streak said to her. If he was right he thought they’d had someone with similar powers as her around the mansion before. He didn’t think he’d ever met the person but was pretty sure that Sam had and that he was right. “Since you mentioned it when we met I figured that he knew you and had a reason for inviting you to stay at the mansion.” Streak said addressing her comments one at a time. Streak was a little surprised that she snapped like that.

That’s weird. Why wouldn’t she think that we’d have to tell the teachers. He thought. “Calm down. It’s just a precaution that we have to take. I don’t think you’ll be feared. Maybe from some of the younger students but that’ll only be because they won’t understand you. “We can always try different techniques for controlling it. But there’s really no way of knowing if we don’t try something.” Streak said. He wanted to keep her calm because there was no reason for anyone to get mad. They were having a normal adult discussion…Well maybe normal for mutants. He doubted that humans ever had this conversation.

Streak was surprised at the question. It sounded like a loaded question and one that anyone had to be careful to answer. He started to answer her. “We don’t expect anything from you. Except for perhaps tolerance, patients, and the understanding that it’s going to take a while for us and you to figure out what you can do. This ain’t gonna happen over night. Since we try to instill toleration for humans we can only as that ya learn that from us also. But as for anything specific…That’s up to you.” The silver eyed mutant hoped he’d answered the question well enough. He looked to Sam and Dominic to see if they could come up with anything better.

"Uhhhh, yeah..." Dominic replied to Zahira getting back to his feet and nodded as she told Streak and Sam of how they met. Then there was Zahira's little freak out about having her powers told to the teachers. It was understandable and just a precaution to make sure anyone would get hurt. Not that she would purposely hurt someone, at least Dominic didn't think she would.

"Shawn is right. We just want to help you and see if you can get your powers under control. The only people who'll fear you are those who won't understand. Everything will be fine. My bro and Shawn are here to help and so am I. You got nothing to worry about." he gave her a reassuring smile.
