The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The child stirred, soon waking from her nightmarish dream, soon to find herself in a new location soon, to learn more about her powers, soon to be adopted.
Her eyes opened. Then she moved her body so that she was sitting up, her eyes opened and closed. Here she realized two things seriously wrong, one this place seemed like a hostpital, and 2 her momma wasn’t here, and she then remembered her whole family is dead. Her lips quivered, then the child screamed, screamed as loud as she could and as much as possible. She was screaming because she was in a room that looked like a hospital room and her mother wasn’t there, in fact no friends were either.
The child remembered what it was like going out of town, to some famous hospital, where only your mother visited you or a brother if he came along. The big thing was, no friends visited her, and that’s what had really hurt, that’s what made her depressed. That’s what made her want to get out of the hospital, and return home. But now she can’t, now she had no home to go too, no family, and no friends. The child’s screaming took a higher pitch, as she now sees herself levitating a few inches off her bed. She attempted to grab the head part of the bed, and pull herself down. “Someone! Nurse, doctor! Something’s happening!!” she exclaimed as loud as her lungs could allow her.”
She had been resting her eyes, still too weak to move from her bed. The sound of screaming wrenched her from the sleep she was in, and she opened her eyes and turned her head toward the sound. Sighing tiredly, she attempted to stand, rolling half out of the bed she was in, and setting bare feet on the cool tile of the floor. Xavia braced herself against the bed, legs wobbly and weak as a newborn kitten. She took a deep breath and pushed herself away, to walk unsteadily toward the sound of screaming.
Approaching the little girl, she reached out and touched the girl on the shoulder, perhaps a comforting hand. “Shh, shh, darlink.” She closed her eyes and concentrated, letting the scent of roses permeate through the air. “You are safe here, darlink.” She attempted to push the girl down onto the bed, not finding it odd that she was floating. She had seen weirder with herself, and the plants that grew from her own body.
Hopefully, she thought, the scent would calm the child and stop the screaming. Of course, she could relate to the child’s fear, being that she was in a similar situation. She had been in a coma for a few months, not that she knew what day or time it was, only that she had awakened in the infirmary not too long before.
Wanting to comfort and be comforted, had spurred her into action. Even though she, herself, was in rough shape, the child was more important, she supposed. She hoped her presence at the girl’s bedside wouldn’t be startling or frightening, but instead, soothing and calming.

The kid looked over at the lady, her screaming stopped, she blinked feeling the hand on her shoulders, a Apert Syndromed hand moved to move some hair from her eyes before she asked, in a soft, shaky voice you aren’t a doctor or a nurse are you?’ she asked, then for once, tears fell from her eyes. She blinked once again when she was pushed down, realizing the other girl didn’t find this weird. Also while this was going on, her nose started giving her a weird feeling. Then she realized, there was a scent. She started to calm a bit, before she remembered, The IV... normally if she was in one of the hell rooms, there would be an IV on her.
The child checked “no iv...’ she says softly, a small smile flickered onto her lips. But it went away almost too quick. She also looked up. “W what’s your name anyways?’ she asked, whipping at the tears from her eyes and the parts close to her eyes. “ I I am Caelita Weeyico...” she says then went on “the Grand champion of the kid playground fights...and the last daughter...of the weeyico clan...’ she says then sat up, but this time, moved so that she can lean to the girl.
“No, I am no Doctor, darlink.” Her voice quavered a little bit, and she glanced over her shoulder toward the door, wondering if the kind, elderly gentleman was going to come rushing in to check on the girl and admonish herself for being out of bed so soon after waking from her coma.
Her hand moved to brush through the girl’s hair, softly threading into the strands to rake through. Her eyes closed, and she found herself leaning against the girl’s bed for support, feeling quite weak. “I am Xavia (Sah-vee-ah).” Her fingers stilled, and she pulled back a little as she opened her eyes and saw movement in the doorway.
”Young lady, you should not be up and out of your bed.” It was the Doc-Prof, admonishing her, as she had guessed. He then turned toward the girl, and went on to say, ”And you, young lady, why are you carrying on so?” The Doc-Prof moved over to the bedside of the girl, gently taking Xavia’s arm to usher her back to her bed.
Xavia looked to the young girl and sighed, before obediently walking with the Doc-Prof. Once he had her situated back in her bed, he went over to the girl to make sure she was alright and do a vital check.
Waiting was definitely not Sara’s Forte. Sara had been waiting for almost two weeks now, for her sight to return to her, just like everyone kept telling her it would. ‘Oh just sit it out.’ ‘There’s nothing physically wrong with your eyes. Just the fact that the pupils won’t dilate to let any light in.’ In fact the pupils were so contracted they were nothing but pencil thin slits. You could hardly see them, against Sara’s amber colored iris so it looked like they weren’t there at all. Then there was Sara’s favorite words of encouragement to hate. ‘You’re a healer. Your eye sight will return just like your body fixes everything else.’ Bull Hockey!
Sara knew her body very well. If it had something to heal, then it healed in a matter of heart beats. Bones mended in minutes and in a matter of an hour or more, depending on the break, would be completely healed. So if there really was something with her eyes, that her body was going to fix, two weeks should have been long enough. Then again, The injury that caused Sara to loose her sight hadn’t happened to her before. In fact most people never got up again, when this injury happened. Sara Nobes was shot in the head.
Normally Sara lived out on the streets, however this latest tragedy in her life had her spending nights at the mansion. Doc Prof deemed her too stable to stay in the infirmary. He told her she would have an easier time in the dormitories like everyone else. He was probably right, since technically there was nothing he could do for her, but Sara also wondered if it was because she wasn’t the best patient in the world. As demonstrated right now where Sara wasn’t waiting at the infirmary door for the good Doc Prof to let her in. She was just walking in.
The tip of Sara’s tail twitched back and forth as Sara mouthed the number of steps she had left before she reached the right door. A long white cane traveled back and forth across the floor in front of her feet as she walked, telling her what she might bump into before she actually did. Sara was starting to adjust to life without sight, that didn’t mean she wanted to stay that way. Doc Prof had mentioned running a test. An MRI, if her sight continued to not be there. Maybe now was the right time to take him up on that offer…
Sara was just to the door of the infirmary when she heard a kid scream. Apparently I’m not the only one who thinks Doc’s bed side manner needs improving. Sara thought to herself with a sigh. Her free hand stretched out searching for the door frame, found it, and Sara turned down the hallway, counting again. It didn’t take her long to hear Doc Prof scolding the child for screaming and someone else for being up. Sara had been consintrating so much on counting the steps it took her to get where she was going, the smell of roses had snuck up on her. “ACHEW!” The sneeze made Sara’s body buckle. Stupid senses…
“Hey Doc Prof?” Sara slid her hand across the wall again, found the right door way, and stepped in. “Do you have a minute?” Sara let herself in, then stood just inside.

Caelita looked at the doctor, a gare evident in her face, her hatred to doctors and nurses evident also on her face. Sure she knew they were just doing their job but that didn’t stop her from hating them” Kreten, you try loosing hyour whole family in a Zkurveny fire, then waking up in a god forsaken hospital room, thinking that it was all a dream then remembering it wasn’t” she says crossing her arms really not liking this man. “oh and since that girl isnt a doctor I want her around me” she says frowning some, then turned her head as Were Entered, blinking a bit, and thinking ‘Whoa..shes a Cat..and a Human being!’ and from the Ladies words she can tell she also wasn’t a doctor.
“oh and Doctor stop calling me young lady, it makes me seem like I am a weak child” she says, frowning then lookd over to Were, before realizing something else, Were cant see. Her eyes blinked a few moments, then leaned back relaxing in the bed. “oh..and where am I? I know I am in some kind of hostpital room’ she added hoping it would eliminate people from wise cracking.
“That girl,” the Doc Prof said crisply, not impolitely though, “Just awakened from a coma. She doesn’t need the excitement.”
The 25 year old looked over toward the girl, then did a double take as………… the cat lady…. From her dream…. Walked in? Xavia blinked a few times, and canted her head.
“You!” She pointed toward the blind cat lady, even if she couldn’t see her, and shook it, “No, can’t be. I dream you up. You are not real.” Her voice was a squeak, and she was adamant as she spoke. Now she had seen everything. Okay, show is over, this has to be another dream.
But was it?
She was pressed down by the Doc/Prof’s hands before he turned to greet the catlady and talk to her. Whatever was said by him was missed by Xavia as she stared at Catwoman for the longest, most perplexed, time.
Sara heard the younger girls story. The stress in her voice about having the doctor near her, and decided, as long as there were not medical emergencies, her interruption had good timing.
The Doc Prof Looked tired as he turned from the young lady, the coma girl and Sara heard him move closer to her. He removed hi glasses and pressed at the ridge of his nose, rubbing, between his eyes.
“No, can’t be. I dream you up. You are not real.”
Doc Prof replaced his glasses and tilted his head first at the coma patient, then at Sara who just shrugged at his sudden silence. “Hey. I can honestly say I can’t picture her face.” Even if her voice did sound familiar. Doc Prof continued just staring at Sara, Then she heard him shuffle the papers so he could take a little light instrument out of his pocket to examine Sara’s eyes with as she stood there. “It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been told I’ve appeared in someone else’s dream.” Sara said ligtly
The Doc Prof finished his examination of Sara’s right eye, and she felt him lift her eye lid to her left one moving the light an inch away from her. No change. “Have you noticed any other changes since the accident?”
Apparently getting shot in the head was considered an accident.. .. .. Sara Shrugged. “Maybe. But it’s nothing big.”
Doc Prof sighed again. “If there is damage that your body can’t heal, there may not be much that I can do. I can still run the MRI”
Sara nodded and walked further in the room. “Tomorrow.” Even though She couldn’t see him Doc Prof still nodded and she heard him leave the room. The feline found a chair between the two beds and sat down. “I assume neither one of you know where you are.” She said addressing both of them. Seeing as the child had asked, and the other hadn’t answered. “Well you’re both in a safe place. You’re currently sitting in the infirmary, located in Xavier’s sister school for the gifted. Gifted being a fancy code name for mutants. My name is Sara, and the man that just left the room, is the good Doc Prof.”

Cae watches as the cat lady moved over and sat between the beds. Then blinked”infirmary of the Xaviers sister school for the gifted?’ she asked then blinked”wait.. my best friend used to go here..’ she says, then frowned”before she died’ she says blinking a bit. then sat up a bit more”by the way, I am Caelita, Caelita Weeyico’ she says, “nice to meet you, Sara” she says then blinked”that Kreten’s name is Doc prof?’ she asked blinking a bit then frowned”sorry, Kreten is Asshole in Czech’ she says then looekd over to the other girl, before looking at sara”by the way..if you don’t mind me asking..er what accident was that guy talking about?’ she asked her possibly new friend.
After a while, she sighed, thinking of her parents and family who had died in the fire, then noticed a Newspaper by the bed, she leaned over to pick it up and read”The Masacre of The weeyico clan..’ she says then frowned”so its in the newspapers..’ she says tears started to fall before she qhiped at them, with her hands. Then looked at theother girl, very glad that she didn’t ask about Caelita’s fingers, also never really liking to answer that question.
Xavia blinked a few times, and lay her head down on the rumpled pillow on her bed, frowning to herself. She sighed, and rested her eyes, then, musing about the turn of events that marked her awakening.
She hadn’t realized that the cat lady was blind, which seemed unusual in itself.
Not much more can be said about her situation right now, just that she was silent in her own thoughts. Many, many thoughts that drowned out the talking of the others.
Sara’s brow furrowed as she listened to more of the child’s story. From what Sara had heard from her already, she had entirely too much tragedy in her young life. Sara could only imagine what it was like to loose someone as close as family could be, but she knew the pain of friends. He sort of wondered if that was the same. However her train of thought was cut short with the question of what happened to her.
“I fell and hit my head.” Sara said. Purposefully leaving out the fact that prior to falling, she’d been shot in the head. There was enough depression in this room and she didn’t want to add to it. “As a result I lot my eye sight, but I’m told my blindness is only temporary.” Sara said as she leaned towards the child’s bed and a smirk started to pull at the corner of her mouth. “I’m tougher than I look.”
“And as much as I hate doctors a young lady like yourself should not being saying Asshole. Not even in other languages.”
The next chain of events involving the news paper wasn’t pleasant. Sara couldn’t read the news paper, but she could hear it, and she frowned. The fact that someone had come in and put a news paper on this child’s bed for her to see the proof of her families’ death. Well Sara found it irresponsible, disrespectful, and insensitive. The paper rustled in the child’s hands and Sara gently put her hand over it. Pushing the page down against the bed and folding it. “You can read that later.” Sara said softly, then glancing at the other lady who claimed Sara was from her dream for help or assistance. If she was awake enough to give it.

Caelita couldn’t help to giggle a little, she didn’t say her family swore a lot. When Sara moved to take the newspaper, she lets her, since she wasn’t interested in the news paper muhc, unless it caught her attention, which it had. She would listen as sara explained why she was blind, though she couldn’t help to think the girl was lieing, because she herself fell once, infact she fell down the staires when she was much younger.
The child figured that the other didn’t want to talk about it. Then came the other surprise question”do either of you wanna be my new mommy, or new sister?’ she asked, “I know I can handle myself but sometimes that’s not good enough for those annoying adults..” she says blinking a bit, looking at either of them. She then reaches and grabs a glass of water and drinks, emptying the glass in a couple of gulps.
Sara’s brow furrowed in confusion for a moment as the girl went from shedding a few tears, and doing what one would expect a girl to do who had just lost her parents, to giggling. The news paper was slid away with no fuss from her and Sara carefully folded it, placing it under her arm. If she didn’t get her sight back soon, to read the article, maybe another mansion resident would read it to her.
Sara was about to turn away when the girl asked what Sara thought was the oddest question for a girl that just lost her entire family. She wanted a New mommy? And she said so brightly compared to the way Sara expected a girl in her situation would ask. Sara wondered if that was how some people dealt with loss.
“I don’t think anyone here can really take the title, mother, however, I will make sure you are taken care of.”

Caelita sat there, listening ass were spoke, she glanced to Dryad, who went back to sleep, then moved her feet over the edge of the bed”that would be bgreat’ she says seeming calm and happy, then lets herself fall off the bed, her bare feet slapping on the ground”I don’t know about you, but I am ready to get the hell out of this room” she says, then she thought of the Iv, and smirked. ”cant get on me, IV” she says darkly, before looking at were”ohh..and I think I gotta stange clothes’ she says also. “do you know of any spare clothes I can get?’ she asked Were
Her feet dragged a little as she moved towards the doorway really wanting to get out of the room, she really didn’t like it all that much”I wonder if I get my room..’ she says mostly to herself as she moved her hands to open the door, she felt a slight pain when she moved the door back. “hey Were.. what do you think my powers are?’ she asked the older girl she still was ceurious about it, she vturned to the girl and for a moment, she was floating, when she noticed this, she screamed”I’m floating!!”
The kid wanted to get up and Sara let her. Carefully listening to her movement and her heart beat for any extra strain, though the IV was a pain. Sara hated IVs they’d been used too much on her, when she was a kid.
Though when the child got to the door, Sara put a gentle hand on her should to halt her. Hopefully. “I don’t know what you’re mutation is, but it’s definitely not healing if you’re still hurt.” She was part predator. Picking out when others were injured was simple to her. “There will be a change of cloths in the closet down the hall, but first, just to be sure, I want you to let the Doc Prof at least check you out. You’re in the infirmary now, for a reason and if something medically happened to you, because you are leaving now, I would only be the one to blame, seeing as I told you I would take care of you.”
Sara stepped aside so that Caelita could see the bed again. “Just let the Doc Prof examine you long enough to give you a clean bill of health, seeing as your are up an moving, he should be able to do that, and then we’ll go and get you set up in a room here.” Sara sighed remembering how fast she couldn’t wait to get out of here before. Medical areas gave her the willies. “My body heals it’s self and I still have spent a night or two here under Doc Prof’s care.”
