The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Teddie shrugged. "I guess so. Name's Teddie, or you can call me Mouse if ya want. Don't matter to me." She flicked some of her reddish hair out of her face and extended one hand.

"Well, to answer your first question first..I can call animals and hear their thoughts. I don't have total control over them, or coerce them. They still have free will and don't have to help me if they don't want to. And as for the second question..it's what all the kids called me at my old school. I tend to be kinda quiet and a real wallflower." she said, blushing, her face as red as her hair. She nervously ran one hand through her short locks, fiddling with a black-dyed chunk.
*Axel thought that was really interesting* "I can telekinetically move a range of crafting materials and I usually use that power to craft life size statues made out of those materials. Then i use my second power, which allows me to possess said statues. If people were to call to me something, I'd prefer it be Golem, after the clay servents of hebrew myth who were controlled by religious words. Those golems of myth were controlled by a word, whereas the ones that I create are controlled by my very essence and i become them, until i choose to leave the golem or until the golem is destroyed. The latter has negative effects on me." said Axel. *gets up, stretches, then sits down again*. "So, how long till we get moving? I'm itching to do something." asked Axel.
(if we get to fight anyone, I gotta sneak away and make a Golem before I can fight well)
(i get the feeling that my explanation of my second power was mainly confusing)

Teddie's eyes flew open wide. "That is so freaking COOL!" she exclaimed, smiling at him. "I don't know how long till the bus, or whatever gets here." the girl lamented and plopped down on the bench beside him, her black shoulder bag between her feet.
"Maybe I can liven things up a bit before the bus gets here though..." Teddie mused and closed her eyes for a moment, a searching look on her face. There was a piercing cry as a hawk came winging in from overhead and landed on her outstretched arm. Teddie stroked its back.
"Well, Axel..meet Skychaser.." she said, by way of introduction and invited him to stroke the large, grey-brown hawk's back. The hawk stared at the both of them with fierce intensity in her golden eyes.
After a moment of wary judging, Axel reached out and stroked the majestic bird with the back of his thumb. The feathers felt rough but tidy to his touch. 'Hello Skychaser' Axel smiled after stroking the hawk, and the hawk just gave him a piercing stare. A wee bit of time passed.
"Say, do you play chess? Or perhaps checkers?" asked Axel

Teddie gave her arm sort of a short thrust into the air and Skychaser took off with a screech. "Checkers, yes. Chess..well..only with my computer. I'm not really all that good at it. "she confessed, blushing again.
Fade shook her head, she was thinking about an old friend and completely zoned out. "OK, well, I can see you guys have already met and had quite a conversation judging by the color of Teddie's cheeks. Anyways, I guess we'll go when the bus comes...whenever it comes, and as for these two...well, I'm sure they're in a trance. Neither of you guys had anything to do with them zoning out, or me for that matter, did you?" She meant as in maybe one of them could put people in trances. She highly doubted it since Teddie already told her about her power and she didn't think this other guy was capable of that, however, looks can be deceiving.

Teddie raised her hands in defense. "I had absolutely nothing to do with it." she affirmed and grinned as she saw the bus round the corner and pull up the street.
"Alright..it's about friggin time. I got my 'rents credit cards and I'm ready to spend their hard earned cash on stuff I want for a change." she said, somewhat sarcastically.
Fade smiled as Teddie denied that she had anything to do with it. "Well, they had better snap outta it, they're gonna miss the bus." She said before she turned and began to lightly tap Orb's cheek. "Wakey up, zone in, common, we're going, let's go." She said, trying to get him to zone in and get on the bus. However, this technique was not working very well because he still sat there, motionless.

The bus pulled up and the doors swung open with a swish. "C'mon lazybones.."Teddie said, pulling Golem to his feet. *Remember..you're only fifteen. He's..I dunno..twentysomething. You are NOT allowed to like him like that.He is too old for you..* her brain reminded her.
Fade smiled as she attempted to get the others to zone in. "This really isn't working." She shrugged before she pushed the lifeguard onto the bus. "Can you gimme a hand, get Orb on the bus." She said, well, it was SUPPOSED to be a question, to Teddie.

Teddie shrugged her shoulders and got to her feet. "C'mon Orb..upsy daisie there big guy...."she said, pushing him to his feet and forcing him forwards onto the bus.
Fade sat down in an empty seat, next to an empty seat. She slide her fist under her chin and stared out the window into the world that had been so ignorant of what was going on around it. However, was their ignorance innocent? Or did they merely choose not to see the world as a place where co-existing was welcome?
