The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"I know that the person that lead me inside was named Mike but I don't think he's in charge. But he did help me get a room." Cassiel, or Mike, was the only name she knew for Dia had yet to meet Tricity who was the head mistress.
It as a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky, not too hot or cold. Efren could help but appreciate it...not much else to due on the bus ride to his new home. He rested his head on his hand and images of the grounds began to flood his head. Last time he was a school was last year, at graduation. But this was to be much different, private school...on the other side of the US. He switched the song on his i-pod to a more up-beat tune. The bus came to a stop on corner near the school. He quickly gathered his things and got off. The walked slowly toward it, allowing the anticipation and nervousness to build up. He reached the gate at last and pressed the button on the gate. He cleared his throat, "Hello, this is Efren Sotello. I came to join this school." He stood in front of the gate, waiting for something to happen.
*After coming down from the infirmary, dropping Hairpin off and knowing she would be just fine by the DocProf, Tricity immediately got a beep on her radio from Johnathon who told her there was to be a new resident in the school and he was here at the gate.* "I'll be there in a second, John." *Tricity took her clipboard out and pulled the 'new resident' folder out with the name Efren Sotello on it. She never had the chance to look it over since the outbreak of the viral infection, but of course, she trusted Xavier and knew he made good decisions on who was stay at the mansion. Tricity looked over John's shoulder and saw the man at the gate. He looked exactly like the picture given to Tricity, so she informed John to open the gates. She walked around to the front of the mansion and opened the big double door to meet up with Efren. As she crossed the grounds and onto the paved driveway, Tricity wished she hadn't work high heels and a skirt today because she would be walking around a lot. She finally came upon the man and smiled warmly, extending her hand out.* "Hi! My name is Delilah Rose Tipper. You are Efren Sotello, right?"
"Good to meet you too. I'm sorry, but it's been very busy lately in the mansion...and well, I wasn't able to look over your profile yet. So, all I really know is your name. What are your powers exactly? I need to know everything about them, or as much as you know for the safety of everyone else in the mansion as well as yourself." *She motioned for him to follow her back up the driveway and radioed to Johnathon to close the gates.* "So, tell me about yourself, Efren."
*Efren walked along side of her. He was surprised she hadn't mentioned his height, or cracked a joke about it.* "Well, I have super-human strenght...I don't really know the limits on that yet. I have some invulnerability and a healing factor...I can heal pretty rapidly. Is there anything else you need to know?"
"How about classes? It says here you're 20, right? Did you want to take any college courses?" *She asked as they neared the marble steps leading inside the mansion.*
"Depends on what you want to study, but we proved financial aid and the like to help you out, along with a work-study kind of program where you can work around the mansion and we'll pay for classes. If you don't find the classes you need here, you can transfer credits to another school since we are certified. OH, since you are older than 16, you are allowed your very own room which is upstairs on the second floor. Come on, let's get inside." *Tricity took her heels off and lead him up the stairs and inside of the mansion.*
By this time nearly all of the mutants at the Mansion had to have at least seens some CNN, NBC, or other news broadcasts depicting Blunderbore carving a path through New York towards the Mansion. Sit it would be expected that either a large amount of mutants would ambush him upon arrival, or they'd have hidden themselves deep within the Mansion. Nevertheless, Blunderbore approached the gates of the mansion. He placed a clay finger on the intercom. "My named is Blunderbore. Send Kitty Fererra out now, or I will come in and get her." he said into the intercom. He increased his size to his maximun 22 feet. He hoped they'd say no, and he was ready to fight.
*Tricity pushed her way through the crowds of children to get to the security booth. Johnathon pointed at the screen and then looked at her.* John: "That's that Blunderbore guy." "Who??" John: "He's been running around New York, destroying everything in his way." "Great...Keep everyone inside, Johnathon." *He nodded and Tricity turned around, heading back outside. She wasn't sure how many adults were in the mansion at the time, but she figured she shouldn't do this alone. Tricity quickly jogged down the hall and made an announcement on the PA to meet her out on the front yard.*
Blunderbore leaned back, and with a wave of hard clay, destroyed the gate of the mansion.. Bricks and bits of clay washed all over the front yard of the mansion. He began moving foreward. The few police cars that had followed him backed off, and began to retreat down the road. As an afterthought, the giant clay figure sent a wave of clay in their direction, smashing both into each other in an explosion of fire, metal, and clay. He then turned back towards the mansion, and began once again moving foreward.
"Shit..." *Tricity said as she watched from the window along with everyone else as this monster of a mutant came barreling across the front yard.* "JOHNATHON!!" *The teen came running to her as he looked through the window as well.* John: "I'll go out there with you...maybe I can melt him or something." "No. Take the kids downstairs, right away." John: "But..." "Just DO IT. Please..." *John rolled his eyes, but began instructing everyone to follow him into the danger room.* "WAIT! Put them in the war room. The danger room still has some mutants in it that haven't been quarantined." *John nodded and ushered the students away. Tricity took a surge from the socket which in turn shut the electricity off in the hallway and part of the kitchen. She swallowed hard and pulled open the doors, stepping outside. Blunderbore was now smashing his way through the front yard, heading toward her.* "Dammit, I could use some help."
Blunderbore halted, seeing a woman exit the mansion. "WELL?!" he asked, crossing his massive clay arms. "Where's the Fererra kid?" he asked as stared at Tricity, who was about 10 yards away.
"Sorry, you've got the wrong address, buddy. I'd like it if you'd put my gate back too...they aren't cheap, ya know?" *Tricity teased, hoping this would cause more time for help to arrive as well as praying Hairpin wouldn't come running outside.*
