The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

*Tricity embraced him and then leaned against the bike along with its owner.* "My boyfriend also rides. He custom makes his bikes. He actually did my car too." *She informed Kaine, pointing over to her car a bit ways down the driveway.* "I love that car. It's a form of freedom." *After standing up from the bike, she turned to face it and gave it a look.* "Beautiful, indeed."

"That is one nice set of wheels the reason i prefer bikes is you will never get caught in a traffic jam on a bike cause you can weave around" Kaine felt her against him as they hugged and when she stood and walked away a bit "Ok i won't smoke in the building um just a thought you wanna go for a ride" kaine said gesturing towards his bike i got a spair leather you could wear" Kaine summoned from the shadows his leather jacket and his spair for tricity "so hows about it?"
*Tricity hesitated for a moment, but she decided she needed the quick break from the everyday. She picked up her radio and informed him they would be back in a few minutes.* "Sure, sounds like fun!"

"Well, care to take a look inside? As you can tell it's very big, and the inside is almost like a maze. It's taken me a while to know where some places are, though I still don't know where everything is." Dia chirpped happily.
Now she would wait for Hitomi to make a decision. If Hitomi didn't want to go inside that was fine with her. But if she did, Dia could show her the places she knew how to get to.
Kody shifted her messenger-style travel bag for what had to be the hundredth time. She wished she could wear a backpack, but due to obvious reasons, she couldn't. Sighing the readhead recalled her clast conversation with her dad. He had offered to let her take the truck. Why hadn't she taken the truck? She loved driving that thing. But no, she had decided that if she was going to start on her own, she was going to do it the right way. That left the bus trip out of the city and hitch-hiking with that lovely tourist couple from southern Florida.
Glancing up at the sky, Kody shifted her bag again. It got painful, trying to carry everything on one shoulder all the time. She didn't want to fly though. Well, it was more like she couldn't. There was no good way to carry the bag when she flew. Ah! And there was the building. The school. Man, was it huge.
Pulling a slip of crumpled white paper out of her faded, ripped jeans, Kody read the address once again. Yep. This was it. She hoped. The redhead walked the rest of the way quickly. On the way, she checked her appearance. She wore a tight white halter top, a pair of ripped, faded jeans, hemp converse hi-tops, and a short-sleeved bright green zip-up hoodie. The weather was warm, she could take off the sweatshirt, but she wasn't quite ready yet. Running a hand through her short copper hair, Kody adgusted the aviator sunglasses on her nose. She loved those glasses. They'd been her mother's.
Pushing thoughts of her mother out of her head, Kody finally stopped before the gate. She took a deap breath and pushed the buzzer.
"No, no one should mind. You're a visitor and you want to see what it's like at this mansion. If anyone does mind I'll take the blame since I am the one that lead you here." Though Dia was more than confident that no one would mind Hitomi coming here.
Glancing over she spotted a red head buzzing for the indoors. Dia messed with the wiring within the controls. Though the wiring more than likely had plastic covering this did not prevent the metal controller from gaining access to the copper wires. Yet it was a slower process because of the covering, Dia was successful. Once success was reached she then opened up the gates with her abilities as well.
The messing around with wiring was done so that the alarm wouldn't go off and all hell wouldn't break loose and the gates opening, well that was a given.
"This is the mansion's grounds which extend all the way around the mansion and to the back. The back yard is very spacious. Almost equal in length to the front as far as how far you have to walk from the gates to the front door." She smiled as she too looked around. There were trees planted in all the right places. Even a person deeply involved in feng shui would be pleased.
"Well we are only through the gates, if we were to say go inside and threaten mutants then you'd have chaos. Besides that there are mutants that stand guard to make sure the front is clear of intruders."
Thinking about Hitomi's question more she continued, "So...I guess if someone wants in here bad enough they could break in. Depends on their knowledge of wires and not just the wires in the box back there." Dia didn't only mess with the wires in the box but to the whole security system. Of course she only did this so that the security system was fooled into thinking that someone on the inside let her in. But now that they were in, anyone else that tried to break in would more than likely cause alarm.
