The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Brawl at the Hole in the Wall (Werecat/Lori/Jacen)
Lori seethed for a time, but really there was nothing to fuel the fire. She didn't realize how much she'd become accustomed to the static electricity and sparks that came with being angry. Somehow it was less fun without it visually manifesting. What a downer.
"I'm impressed you had the presence of mind to think up a false name so quickly under pressure."
There it was. Underneath the underneath was that military suspicion. She knew it was bad news getting mixed up with a straight-laced man. There were only two options open to them. They could continue to lie to themselves or they could try to turn each other to their respective sides.
"At the end of the day, hopefully wit wins over brawn." Because as strong as she was, she still wouldn't win in an arm wrestling match with Brickson or Jacen. Maybe not even the cat girl. It was so dumb! She could lift all the weights in the world and genetics would be just as much her enemy as it always was.
Lori stirred the ice in her drink with her finger, another usual no-no that was now okay. It didn't matter if Jacen believed her story, it mattered that he didn't dig. Military-types could be tricky. Sometimes because it’s their job, and sometimes because it’s habit. If he had any suspicion he didn't bother Lily with it. Smart man. If she could keep him without trouble, she might have considered it more seriously.
"Up for that dance now? Unless you'd rather play a game of pool or darts."
CRACK The definitive sound of a pool cue snapping sounded letting Lily and Jacen know Brickson wasn't quite done stewing.
"Guess we did come here to dance. Not really in the mood, but why waste the night, right?" Lily sucked down the last of her drink and put her hand in Jacen's. She sucked at dancing because she was entirely too cerebral about it. No amount of reading or observation could ever compensate for natural grace or improvisation. Sure, she was quick witted, but her body wasn't capable of the same agility.
She'd drunk enough that she felt slightly detached. It still wasn't enough to make her fluid. Any dancing on her part would be inelegant at best.

Grinning to the recommended bet Bacchus laughed, “I love money Sheila, but afraid I can’t do that, I don’t have the money to match that, not now at least and I’m afraid the girls at the bar won’t lend me anymore.” Grinning for the fact that he gets free drinks he said, “Loser buys the next round?” it was a win-win for him either way Bacchus was going to get a free drink out of the mix.
As the balls were racked Bacchus felt the tightening of his stomach around the large amounts of alcohol. “Shi!” said Bacchus as he closed his mouth and hit the cue ball with his stick which ended up flying up into the air right to where of Jenny’s date was standing, 'he better think fast' thought Bacchus. If he wasn’t about to throw up he would have done so from laughing to hard, he had no intention do o anything of the sort but it just landed there, ‘what a great shot!’ thought Bacchus as he gave a look to the cat lady ‘saying put the game on hold, bout to blow’.
Running to the front door Bacchus felt his stomach and self shrink to his original size as he came within striking distance or Jenny and her date, “Shit!” said Bacchus as he looked where to puke ‘On Eric, or Jenny and her date…’ before Bacchus could answer he unloaded at least half to a third a keg of alcohol on her. It was something straight out of the excorsist movie, green puke that shot out like a jet, he was half expecting his head and neck to do a complete rotation after.
The guys at the bar were laughing at the two covered in puke as the Kelly and Chelsea took control of the situation, Chelsea jumped down from her platform and landed next to Bacchus as she started to push him out side so he could finish the large amount of vomit that seemed to slow and stop once he was outside. He felt himself get bigger and the sudden urge to vomit ended. Chelsea yelled in her cool tone, “What the hell was that? You never get sick…” she put her hand on Bacchus as he grew a little more and crouched down to the ground breathing in, “I don’t know but that shit hit the fan…” he paused for a second then started to laugh, “Got good aim though. ”
Sara smirked at the new bet possibilities. Ok a drink wasn’t that bad. Two free drinks was definitely better than and if she lost the bet, buy one drink, get one free wasn’t that bad either. “Well that bet works just as well.” Sara smirked. “Though I find it unfair that you get your drink’s free, here, anyways.” Sara teased.
Just as their game started, Sara swirled her scotch around under her nose, and big guy started taking his shot only to have the cue ball sail right off the table “Told ya.” Sara teased again and followed the ball’s path. “Nice shot…”
Bacchus left the table and Sara watched as he ran only to make another “Very nice shot.” Sara grinned again. Watching him disappear onto the street while the ladies of the place quieted people down. “Hey a little help.” Sara yelled at the guy who was hit with the cue ball. Giving a little wave to get his attention.
Lily really wasn't that great a dancer but at the moment Jacen couldn't have cared less. They were in a club that included pole dancing which meant that the music was on the seductive side. A couple didn't have to be greatly skilled to dance together using music like this they just had to be willing to bring bedroom expressionalism to the dance floor while fully clothed. "Or in some cases, just mostly clothes." Jacen thought with a raised eyebrow as he watched one of the other couples throw their shirts to the side, leaving the man bare chested and the woman in just her brassiere.
"Why do I get the feeling you'd be more comfortable at a bar with just straight up drinking instead of all this dancing?" Jacen teased quietly, his eyes dropping to look into the woman's with as much heat as he was willing to show out in public, "Next time you pick the meeting spot."
Jacen wasn't out for anything romantic and somehow he knew that Lily felt the same way. She wouldn't be picking an expensive restaurant for a quiet dinner or anything like that. Maybe a late night ball game would be more her speed. "Check to see what sports teams are in town next weekend and how much tickets cost. That might be a better fit."
As the couple began to make a spin on the floor, Jacen felt something hard strike his right arm. Turning quickly the man's eyes narrowed, looking for an attacker but instead finding a white cue ball rolling slowly across the dance floor.
"What the..." He began to murmur before suddenly, the green giant came rushing toward them. Even after the fact, Jacen wouldn't know whether it was intentional or whether the man had simply been unable to make it all the way to the bathroom. Either way, a large quantity of vomit was suddenly hurtling toward the both of them.
Turning automatically, Jacen shielded himself with his arm and the back of his jacket, trying to protect Lily as well while knowing that more than likely it was hopeless. With the quantity of intestinal fluid coming their way it was almost guaranteed that she would get at least a little bit on her.
As the man ran off to apparently finishe elsewhere, Jacen made an expression of distaste and slowly slipped off his now stained jacket. The scent was horrible though he could remember smelling something similar in a back alleyway while doing his duties as a police officer.
“Hey a little help.” A feminine voice yelled from over near the pool tables. Glancing over Jacen saw the feline that apparently wanted her cue ball back. Glancing down the man only shook his head in obvious distaste.
"You don't want this one!" Jacen called back as he looked at the now green and yellow covered ball, "Really... you don't."
She'd heard that it was all in the hips. After a little dancing with Jacen, Lori decided it was more in the eyes and implications. She'd started by observing the people who shared the floor and trying to emulate what she thought would be best, but after they started taking their shirts off, she wondered what was left to emulate. She was wearing a dress. Short as all sin, yes, but it was one piece. She looked back at Jacen to make sure he wasn't getting naked too, but he had something much better.
It was heat, pure and simple. He wanted her and didn't mind letting her see it all over his face. After she saw that didn't matter that she didn't have the moves or coordination. Actually not very much mattered at all. And for one of the very few times in her life, Lori let go of some of that strict command. If her fist was clenched, it would be like loosening a single finger. Not much, but enough that she relinquished some of her dominance and maybe, just maybe started to enjoy herself... a little. But only a little.
"Why do I get the feeling you'd be more comfortable at a bar with just straight up drinking instead of all this dancing?" "Because it doesn't take a genius to see that I suck at this?" She stretched her arms all the way up to Jacen's shoulders to close some of the distance between them. It was hardly dancing anymore.
"Next time you pick the meeting spot." "He learns." She grinned more tooth than expression of happiness. So much for giving up control, she was back at the reigns now. And she was pulling him in to reward his good behavior when something impacted with Jacen before making a loud thunking bounce to the ground.
"What the..." was not the word choice Lily or even Lori would have chosen. She looked down to see that a cue ball settled between their feet. Brickson. Her fists clenched reflexively in Jacen's shirt. Oh, he had gone too far. She un-mangled her hands and turned toward the pool tables that were surprisingly close by.
Jacen defensively elbowed in front of her when Brickson came barreling toward them, but it wasn't enough. Nothing was enough. She would have preferred a bodily injury. Instead she got vomit. Putrid, sticky, smelly, curdled, highly-alcoholic, burning hot, chunky, green, viscous vomit.
Every muscle in Lily's body tensed and she stood very, very still as Brickson continued to spew like a water pump on his way out the door. No doubt this establishment would loose at least two customers tonight. She was afraid to move because moving meant that the sick could spread. He'd mostly gotten her legs which was good because her dress had a chance to survive the night. It was also very bad because she felt the fast cooling chunks against the skin of her legs.
The cat girl asked for the cue back and Jacen let her know that it was... in dispose. Lily tried not to look down into the tossed cookies to see what the ball actually looked like. She was actually trying not to breathe too, until she realized how foolish an attempt that was. Begrudgingly she took a squishy, vomitous step. And then another and another until she was walking past the cat girl in pursuit of Brickson. Lori made sure to flick her heels at the cat girl and send some lovely verdant chunks her way. She hoped fur was a real b*tch to clean.
She grabbed Brickson's dropped pool cue on her way out. If she ever left Jacen's field she'd be crackling head to toe and the vomit smell would amplify because it was cooking. She was going to need so much more than a shower to clean off the last horrible weekend and accompanying week...
Lori knew just where this cue needed to go. She sincerely hoped it reached Brickson's colon.

The warm hands on his enlarged back were warm to the touch even through his shirt, the went up and down in a hypnotic motion, ‘up, down, up down up, down’ followed Bacchus as his mind was swimming in the fresh air that was now surrounding him. Never before did Bacchus feel so sick then so refreshed. His nose was no longer stuffy, there was no longer the dimmed down hearing that was in the bar, and his vision was no longer slightly blurred that came along with being drunk.
Looking up to see Chelsea at his side he smiled, “Sorry bout the mess, don’t know what happened,” he was sitting down hunched over as Chelsea was standing up upright rubbing the Giant on the back. ”Did it have something to do with the girl? Jenny was it?” letting out a small distasteful spit Bacchus shrugged his large shoulders and said, “Could be, didn’t feel bad till her and her bloke entered the bar. Could be her or her date…”
Remembering the feeling of being alone with the beauty Jenny he didn’t ever remember feeling like this, there was the feeling of a few other things most involved her in that shower they entered but it didn’t end her leaving him in the burning building for dead with nothing but a towel.
Maybe it was the other guy, it would make sense cause Bacchus wasn’t drunk when the guy walked, and he wasn’t throwing up. It makes sense somewhat, right? He had to do something his powers going on the fritz that or the sight of jenny really did make him sick, he wasn’t ready to strike that from the ideas either.
“Chelsea, I’m fine but I’ll stay out here for a bit.” He paused taking in a breath, “Put Eric and O’Maley in charge of the bouncing till I’m back in there, they both owe me a favor.” He yawned as she walked in and he was left alone in the cold night air that made his body feel that much better. No longer did he feel sick but rather curious, curious to figure out why what happened, happened.

(OOC: Permission received from Werecat to post out of order.)
IC: It didn't take an extremely observant person or even a close friend to realize that Lily was ticked. Jacen had only known her for a couple of weeks now but it was still quite clear that Brickson had managed to tick this little lady off and if Jacen didn't keep close to her it was quite possible she was fry the big boy's ass. There was no use in even trying to talk her out of it and Jacen knew it. Just like he knew their relationship wasn't destined to go anywhere, he knew that she was just to strongwilled to control.
Trailing behind the blond woman Jacen immediately noticed when, with a flick of her heal, she sent some of the fragrant chunks sailing toward the cat lady. "Oh this is just what we need. More people to join in the brawl." Jacen thought to himself, immediately moving to intercept Brickson's friend. Maybe he could distract her with a few questions while he tried to figure out what was really going on between Lily and the giant.
"So what's up with the big guy out there?" Jacen asked as he moved to intercept the feline that had turned to follow blondie with a slightly ticked off expression on her face. Being in the military and S.W.A.T. had taught Jacen to read people and as it was, he didn't have the slightest doubt that this woman could handle herself in a fight. Quickly intercepting here between two pool tables, Jacen effectively blocked her path unless she decided to vault over one of the tables. "Care to share why he has such a bad opinion of my friend?"
The jacket that Jacen now held in his hand reeked, as did the shirt that ahd absorbed some of the moisture before he coudl get the jacket all the way off. If he had thought about it he would have realized just how offensive this might all be to a cat's sensitive nose but unforutnately, his mind was busy on other things.
Sara couldn’t believe this girl. Big guy was right the girl was a truly evil girl. Sara lifted her feet when the girl kicked at her, but the feline hadn’t exactly been fast enough to avoid getting vomit splattered on her fur. Vomit… on her Fur… That was hell to get out. It wasn’t like Sara could just take her fur off and send it to the dry cleaners. She might as well shave her legs because scrubbing was not going to get rid of the icky sensation that was climbing through the follicles, soaking into her skin and up her leg.
And the smell…
Sara glared at the other girl, and spun the pool cue in her left hand. She started taking quick steps after the other girl when her date got in Sara’s way. Baaaaad move buddy… Sara steadied her temper as he asked her the question and Sara gave her the answer she knew. “According to my friend, your girl took a large amount of his money, zapped him in the shower, and left him to die with nothing but a towel.” Sara’s right hand shot up and she used the tips of her index finger and middle finger to shove at a pressure point just under Jacen’s arm pit, next to his chest to get him away from her.
Next it was a hop over the pool table. Mid way through the air, Sara picked up one of the pool balls and checked it at Lori’s head. “Hey you!” She yelled as she took to running steps to catch up to the other girl who had covered her legs with vomit, and tried to give her a black eye.
“Hey you!” and then a sharp CRACK to the back of her head. She never even saw it coming.
She was very practiced in the art of high heels. She was not however practiced in the art of high heels covered is sludgy upchuck while having pool balls flung at the back of her head. She did what anyone would have done. She fell flat on her face dropping the pool cue and grabbing the back of her head.
Fantastic. Wonderful. Her sparks intensified sending out large jumping streaks of electricity before... nothing. She hadn't moved but the electricity in the air was suddenly gone excepting the uncontrollable sparking at her legs and now her hands where she had fallen in more of Brisckson's mess.
Like she wasn't covered in seeping stinking disgustingness? Like the smell and feel were going to go away from her skin any time soon? Like the trick Pluto had pulled was going to go away? Like the pictures weren't floating around taunting her about how she'd been wasting her time at the Sanctuary? She'd gotten soft? She was too trusting?
She moved slowly, keeping her face turned away and behind a curtain oh her own hair. If anyone ever saw that she'd let a moment of weakness over come her and let even a single tear escape ... well, she'd never be able to keep them out. Her fingers went slowly around the putrid chunk-dreged pool cue. She gripped it as she stood and then... swung. Hard. As hard as she could. Right for the cat girl's face.
It was a swinging arc, fast and hard, but easy to see from miles away. A distraction. Her other hand had a scoop of puke and that was going right for Sara's face. How dare Sara make Lori doubt herself.

Looking up to the sky Bacchus sighed, the crashes and clanks of the bar could be heard as if it was happening through a loud speaker. Breathing in and standing up twelve feet tall Bacchus sighed and shrunk to seven feet and six inches, his stomach didn’t really do much, he couldn’t even feel the liquor in hi system anymore. Pukeing natures way of saying ‘hey you drank a lot so lets give you a do over to see if you can drink that much again’. Unfortunately he wouldn’t be doing, as much drinking as he did before, now wasn’t the time he had bouncing to do and from the sounds of it the entire bar might break out in a fight.
Now longer did he feel sick and the feeling of a fight came rushing back to him, he was ready for some bouncing. Letting out a large roar Bacchus pushed the door open and said, “Right Now Time For The Bouncing!” looking around Bacchus tried to figure out who was causing all the commotion. Sighing a little Bacchus frowned at the pair who had been causing all the noise, the Cat Sheila and Jenny. Jenny wasn’t really a surprise she did seem like she would be the center of attention.
“Ohi!” Bacchus said as he extended his hand out like giant snakes and caused his fingers to wrap around Jenny. “Fights happen outside, I don’t want any collateral damage here.” He had Lori by the shoulder, as Bacchus's head was already turned when he got hold of them. “Jenny I wouldn’t Zap just yet, muscles have a tendency to contract uncontrollably when they get shocked, and you how seen what I can do.” He didn’t squeeze her to hard in fact he was rather gentle with her.
Looking back to Sara Bacchus called out, “Sheila you wanna have a go with this one follow her out.” Lifting Jenny off of the ground Bacchus walked her outside and gently set her down then quickly pulled back before she could shock him, unless she could throw electricity if that was the case he would be in trouble.
(And permission to go right back to the original order.)
Now free of the other blonde’s date, Sara was making her way to Jenny, who was now, apparently giving off a light show. Oh this was going to be interesting. Despite the electricity that was clearly coming off of Jenny, Sara walked closer so that she was standing over the other girl. Weather the other girls saw her or not, was another question. Jenny had hair in her eyes.
Although hair or no hair it seemed she was still up for more of a fight. Sara may have thrown the first pool ball, but Jenny Threw the first punch. A punch that Sara saw coming as her arm holding the pool cue rose to block from the inside Jenny’s arm. Shocks went from Jenny to Sara, though they weren’t the strength that her old camp arm band use to put through her. Sara’s jaw tightened her muscles twitched, and she aimed a Jab for Jenny’s left eye. Mean while Jenny had a stealthy Vomit attack that nearly snuck up on Sara. She weaved to the side as putrid puke flew at her face, but wasn’t completely fast enough as barf speckled her right cheek, ear, and hair.
“B****!” Sara spat out. The pool cue in her hand spun and she aimed to smack jenny across the ribs with it just before Bacchus broke them up and pulled Jenny out of the bar. Sara was grumbled a few choice thing under her breath as she desperately whipped at the side of her face with the fur on the back of her hand. She followed Bacchus and Jenny outside. Pool cue still in hand.
Jacen stumbled back against one of the pool tables as his mind tried to process the fact that his left arm was numb. He couldn't feel anything as the arm hung at his side like a lifeless piece of flesh. What had he said? All he'd done was ask for an explanation and then that b**** of a cat decided to attack him?
Reaching over with his right hand Jacen began to massage at the muscle, trying to stimulate the blood flow and get his strength back. Lily needed him... she needed help. The arm was beginning to tingle and with great effort he was able to curl his fingers into a fist. It wasn't great but it would have to do for now. Hopefully it would be enough.
Reaching over Jacen grabbed a black eight ball and gripped it tightly in his right hand before breaking into a jog after the three individuals that were heading for the door. It really was amazing just how hard a pool ball was and how much damage it could do to an individual when used correctly.
Stepping outside Jacen found himself looking at the three figures. Big boy was stepping away from where he had apparently dropped Lily while Miss Kitty was beginning to close in on the petite blond. "Ten feet... I've got ten feet." The S.W.A.T. officer thought to himself as he closed in on the cat so that his field would once again touch her. Winding up, Jacen let loose with as strong a throw as he could muster from this point blank range, right toward the back of the feline's head.
"Next time don't provoke someone that'll fight back Kitty Cat!" He barked out seconds after releasing the eight ball. Fair was fair... kitty cat had pegged Lily in the back of the head so why couldn't he return the favor?
Lori didn't throw the first punch. Brickson's first aggressive act manifested in the form of a pool ball, quickly followed by vomit all over Lori and her um-date. Vomit does things to people. Makes them feel insulted and angry and all kinds of gross. Did I mention angry?
Lori's swing was deflected, that was to be expected. What was not to be expected was that the cat girl would jab her in the FACE as she flung her sneaky vomit attack. It was a mutual face attack moment excepting the fact that Lori's arms were much shorter and the cat girl only got a fraction of the splatter she deserved. Meanwhile Lori's face got a fist to the eye with all the arm behind it that Lori lacked. She actually felt her eyeball squish a bit. Now the front of her head hurt almost as bad as the back of her head.
“Ohi! Fights happen outside, I don’t want any collateral damage here.”
Lori stumbled back a step with the impact, her cleanest hand flying up to her face. She bumped into something rock solid and covered in a puke splattered teeshirt. Ow. Her hand loosened on the vomit-slicked pool cue and the cat-lady took a hold of her weapon... and rapped her on the ribs with it as she was trying to fend off Brickson's fatty-sausage fingers. She was all too open for the thwap against her ribs and it temporarily knocked the air from her lungs, effectively knocking the fight out of her long enough for Brickson to drag her bodily from the bar.
Under normal circumstances she would have given him hell for picking her up. She hated being picked up, still did in fact, but her options were to nurse her wounds or bruise herself against Briskson's midsection. The only wounds he would sustain from Lori were unintentional ones sparking from the vomit she was practically covered in now.
Brickson deposited her outside of the establishment and she crumpled onto the ground, curling slightly into a child's pose. She wasn't sure what hurt more: her head, her face, her ribs, or her dignity. One thing was for sure... she only had a few moment's before Jacen made it impossible for little Lori to keep up with the heavy hitters.
She made herself sit up. She looked for the nearest and largest metal structure, which happened to be an SUV, and made the strongest magnetic field she could muster. The car groaned and then tipped, bounced once to help her get lift and then went right toward the whole party. Lori flattened herself back to the ground, the car should clear her prone form, though not by much, it was an SUV after all. Anyone and everyone else? Hopefully it'd flatten them... Except that she heard Jacen's voice.
Lori tried to slow the momentum, but Jacen seemed to be close enough to where the magnetic field needed to go that she couldn't do a damn thing except, "Jacen, don't--!" It was all she could think to say. Not duck, or dodge, or dive away... Don't. Don't be brave. Be safe. Come back to pummel meanie faces another day. She sat on her knees sparking and stinking in cooked barf, hands outstretched to stop the car from it's current trajectory, mouth ajar. What else could she do?

The bar was now empty of all the brawlers, which was the job he got paid to do, normally he would be getting paid extra for booting them but with the large amount of vomit on the floor in the bar he seriously doubted that he would be getting any cash for the night. “Booger…” said Bacchus as he looked from Jenny who was on the ground and possibly pissed off more from the vomit than being picked up like the small rag doll that she was. He couldn’t help but flash a grin at her, she certainly did deserve everything she was getting, and she did leave him to die in a burning building.
Turning his head slightly Bacchus spotted the cat women and the bloke that he was sure made his powers all wonky and disrupted his good night. Bacchus noticed as the man made a movement and Bacchus called out, “Watch out Sheila!” Turning his head slightly Bacchus whished he could have had someone say the same to him. As the pair got closer to him Bacchus felt his arm shrivel up to normal human sizes, “Shit!” said Bacchus as he was hit with the front end of a SUV.
Coughing up blood Bacchus felt his body get pressed on with so much force, ‘really wished that bloke would…Bingo Bango!’ thought Bacchus as he felt his body dense up despite the pain from moments ago Bacchus’s feet stretched out into the ground which caused him to catch the car and stop not only him self but the force behind the car as well.
Growing a bit more Bacchus grinned as he looked over the car to see the blonde temptress and her vomit covered skin, “What goes around comes around!” yelled Bacchus as his voice was carried throughout the streets as he threw the car like a missile back at her. He knew she could stop it or at least hoped she could, worse case scenario is he would be even if she couldn’t stop it.

Head lights were approaching and growing brighter when…
“Watch out Sheila!”
Bacchus’s warning came a split second too late… THWAMPED! The 8 ball bounced off of the back of Sara’s head and she stumbled forward. The pool cue clattered to the road. Her head bowed and her right hand instantly reaching to massage the new lump. The head lights were getting brighter, and all Sara could think was to get out of the way. Bacchus would be fine, since Sara hadn’t put together that Jacen made powers fail, but herself.. well. She didn’t could heal from being hit by a car, but healing hurts.
Sara spun on her heals, then twisted her body around. Her body leaned forward like a linebacker, and she moved to tackle lover boy to the ground, and consequently out of the way. Her, slender, shoulder aimed for his midsection. They Hit the ground and Sara rolled onto her elbow, pushing her self away from the dirty cement. Her other hand shot forward, so fast all one could see was a blur, as she aimed a punch across the man’s jaw. She pushed her knees under her and then her feet.
