The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It was midnight at the central park and Devon was reminiscing in the shadows of the trees. Thinking about who he really is as a person and where he stands in this mutant war, Devon was surprised of how much he cared about his life. Leaning up against a oak tree Devon stared at the stars which illuminated New York, with his legs crossed and his arms behind his back he was struggling not to lose his sanity. He was torn between reliving his criminal habits or seeking peace in this fast paced city.
Alone at the park, Devon fell into his thoughts and the sounds of crickets seemed to be getting louder with each heart beat. Being depressed was something Devon was used to feeling, but with his attitude its something that most people can't see in him. Wearing at green pajama pants and a gray T-shirt Devon wasn't ashamed of being seen in his pajamas.
"Such a lonely night" he said as he slowly slumped to the ground. Sitting with his legs crossed on the ground and looking at the moon, Devon couldn't help but smile a little. Hearing footsteps from the trees Devon quickly turned his head and tried to make an image of the darkness. "Whose there" he shouted into the shadows.
Aura entered central park looking around, licking her fingers to clean them of the blood she had recently let. Aura smiled recalling the homeless man who had tried to mug her. Looking in a Shop window she ajusted her hair a bit making sure it was at least somewhat decent and free of any of the blood she had recently spilled. With a smile From her pink lips she moved on to the park itself, it was large and she had a spot she liked to come to relax, not to far from the spot she had fought Aeriel in.
Aura walked with a determined grace, her eyes scanned the area around her as she went looking for any threats that might emerge against her. Rubbing her eyes to clear them on the water that kept building up, She pushed her way through some of the bushes, she barely noticed Devon until he asked who was there then her sight locked on him.
"I am Aura, and you My friend?" She asked politely, leaning against a tree opposite of Devon. She wondered just who this man was. She was confident she was in no danger however, not yet. She wiped some of the dried blood from her sweater failing to get much of it off.

Seeing a figure in the darkness, the image of a young girl emerged from the trees. "I am Aura, and you My friend"? she asked as Devon lifted his eyebrow. "Well aren't you a sight for green eyes" he said to the young girl which by then leaned against the tree opposite to him. "My name is Devon, but you can call me Troll" he said while examining the girl, looking like she was in her teens Devon couldn't help but wonder why she was out there so late. Catching the scent of blood Devon went on a slight blood craze which he didn't feel in a long time.
"Hmm why such a sweet girl like you have blood on you? If your trying to bring blood stained clothes into style....you are soo working it" he said while winking and laughing. There was something about that girl that seemed deadly which Devon found himself drawn to.
She was a bit unsure how to take the comment about being a sight for his green eyes, and after wrestling with t for a moment, but before she did to much with it the Man spoke to her again revealing his name as well as an Alias. She let him examine her and smiled when he noticed the blood. His comment about bringing blood stains into style made her laugh a bit, she had never been one for Style much to occupied in combat to ever pay much care to how she dressed. He seemed to enjoy the idea she had blood on her hands and this made Aura intrested in Devon as well.
"I needed a new Lampshade" she responded as ran her fingers across the tree bark. Despite the Wooded area's being sources of pain for her as well as memories of gunfire and screams, something that had become a bit of a lullaby to her. "Sadly, the man was.....uncooperative and so my cut was less clean then i wanted" She said with a bit of a pout. "Still only a human" she went on before deciding to indulge in ehr own curiosity.
"Strange for a man this time a night, not to be more concerned with a bit of blood, which tells me your likely to see it a lot. Come here often?" She asked maintaining the sweetness to her voice as she spoke, she really was a sweet girl, unless you were a human who got in her way, then she did the humane thing and simply killed. "So my friend does a young girl have anything to fear from you?" She asked as her eyes swept the area looking for signs of danger, a habit much like her training.

The grass whistled as Devon sat up from the old tree, unfolding his legs and tilting his head Devon was getting more inquisitive about the girl. Brushing the wood chips off his shoulder and kneeling one leg up she spoke again which slightly echoed with the breeze. "I needed a new Lampshade" she said, Devon perked his ears up and a curious expression covered his face. Not knowing how to respond to that comment Devon waited for her to continue. "Sadly, the man was.....uncooperative and so my cut was less clean then i wanted, silly only a human." Devon rubbed his hands together and smiled as she said these words. She reminded him a lot about his younger self and Devon seemed a little jealous of her youth.
Catching on that the girl was a mutant Devon stood up from the tree and leaned back. Putting his hands in his pockets his green eyes glowed brighter then usual. "Strange for a man this time a night, not to be more concerned with a bit of blood, which tells me your likely to see it a lot. Come here often?" he asked in a curious tone. Examining the environment around him Devon turned back to Aura and responded "when I was in Florida, I killed a lot of humans. But hey, whats a mutant suppose to do when he wants a little fun?" he lifting his shoulders. Devon remembered how is friend promised they were going to live peacefully once in New York, and since then Devon mourned since his kidnapping.
"So my friend does a young girl have anything to fear from you?" Devon smiled as she asked this question. "Your o.k with me Aura, I don't like killing cute mutants like you, and since I moved down here I've been trying to cut back on killing, but the urges are killing me" he said with a frown. "So, are you just a killer or are you working for something bigger?" he asked her while glaring into her eyes.
"That is true, Humans are easy to kill but good for some quick fun" She replied, as her fingers traced the lines of bark behind her, she moved them so that only her finger tips were touching the tree. Her Pink aura appeared around her finger, and she sunk her finger into the tree a bit, making a small cut in it as she continued to listen to Troll. "So what's Florida Like, i heard about it awhile ago" She said recalling where the state was but not to much else, she had not been a model student in school, she knew where it was do to the map book Miracle had kept around and from what she recalled of school. She saw the man's eyes and with his words it was clear they were of the same breed.
She ignored the comment about not killing her on the basis she was cute as best she could "The urge to kill is hard to resist, that euphoria it gives one during the final blow can be addicting" She admitted, though Aura more enjoyed the fight then the actual killing, murdering just anyone though lacked a challenge and a purpose which to Aura tainted the fun. "Still I prefer the fight to the kill, it's exciting and had a pleasure all it's own" She mentioned pushing off from the tree as he continued. "We are all part of something bigger" She replied looking back into his eyes, clearly side stepping the question
"So your feelings on the humans are quite low then from the sound's of it" She went on still looking back at his eyes, the glowing green eyes looked interesting to her and reminded her, of her past Friend though the color was quite off. Her eyes broke with his, only to assess his build in case he became a threat, words and actions could be very different. "I live over at Sanctuary, a place for mutants with questionable pasts" She said looking back at his eyes.

"So what's Florida Like, I heard about it awhile ago" she asked, as Devon stood up straightly and tucking his hands into his pockets. Raising his left eye brow no one ever asked him with was it like back in Florida since he moved down here. "Its not looking that bright right now for mutants" he replied while tilting his head up. Putting the back of his head against the tree he stared at the moon, thinking about what he lost just to get here. More stars illuminated in the sky and the clouds swirled around the moon, appearing to be a vortex of silver threads, Devon looking up at it, temporarily lost himself looking at the beauty.
"The urge to kill is hard to resist, that euphoria it gives one during the final blow can be addicting.Still I prefer the fight to the kill, it's exciting and had a pleasure all it's own" Aura said while Devon slightly adjusted his foot on the grass. She leaned up from the tree and there were slight puncture marks from where her fingers where, which made Devon tense up. Wondering who she really was she continued, "we are all part of something bigger." "Indeed we are, but what parts we play are what is really important. So what part are playing?" he asked while tucking his lips in.
"So your feelings on the humans are quite low then from the sound's of it" she said while peering into Devon's eyes. Part of Devon's murderous self emerged from the question which has been happening a few times since his arrival. "Its not that I don't like them, I just like to kill them" he said while smiling. "I live over at Sanctuary, a place for mutants with questionable pasts" she said while looking back at him. "The Order huh? Let me guess, a group of powerful mutant supremacists that likes to get there ideas across from violence, I like it! But, I'm playing with the good guys now and I'm looking forward to where it takes me" he said. Looking back at her he asked "What about you, do you have plans for your future? Or are you going to be a little bad girl forever?" he asked.
Flroida was looking poorly on mutants according to this one, and she really had no evidence to go against that, so she took the information for later use. The Order Might wish to know places where Mutants were being treated particularly poorly, though it would be ebst to gather more information first. Aura had no bothered to look up at the moon in a long time, but Devon's gaze upward brought her eyes to it as well, though all she saw in it was the moon and the clouds.
Aura, fingers dug a little deeper into the tree, she was not looking for anything, just practicing her control. He asked her what part she was playing, to which she smiled brightly revealing her white teeth. "I Play the part of the Soilder" She said honestly, flicking a peace of bark off into the brush she had passed through. "I fight, that is what i was meant to do" She said trying to answer the question simply but honestly.
"killing Humans is easy though, even with their guns their only a minor annoyance, like a group of flys, I prefer to fight Mutants honestly, much more fun, far more challingeing. You actually have to put effort into the fight" She said her eyes shined brightly as she said this, it was clear she enjoyed combat more then killing anyone. What took her by surprise was that Devon knew of the Order itself, many mutants knew of Sanctuary but far fewer knew about the order, she assumed someone in the mansion had mentioned it. "my plans are what they always have been, to protect my team and myself From Humans, do that degree i will Fight even if that means carving a bloody path through those in my way" She said though her voice had lost just a hint of the sweetness in it. "They offered me a place at the mansion, But places like that are not suited for me, I can not guard Livestock" She said witha laugh. "In the end, My vengeance will claim so many human life's, i will be legend" She said though beign a legend was not truely one of her goals.
"So what is the mansion like, im kind of curious how it Differs from Sanctuary" She said never mentioning the order, she was unsure how he knew about it, but it was not something people useually just mentioned without some kind of goal.

Devon dug his feet into the soil where the oak tree was ingrained, turning his head and facing a small clover on the ground he began to notice the ground were filled with them. His environment was slowly changing due to the decreasing temperatures, he was surrounded by trees and small flower patches. Shivering from the cold his attention went back to Aura.
Once Devon mentioned the Order she seemed shocked that he was actually right. "Oh, I'm guessing your wondering how I know. Well a girl like you covered in blood, human killing, mysterious, and deadly, and since your part of it I guess its pretty obvious this 'Order' isn't really nice. Unless your a black sheep in a white herd which I doubt you are, since you don't seem like the type to hang around goody people." Devon said while staring back at the clover. This girl was sharp for her age, which Devon thought was amusing since she reminded him a lot of himself when he was younger.
Staring at Aura gently as she talked about her path in this war, made Devon realize that each mutant no matter who they are, have a mission. After hearing about her path, Devon pulled his hands out and crossed them in front of his chest. Thought something she said made Devon listen even more intently "In the end, My vengeance will claim so many human life's, i will be legend" she said. Picking up a four leaf clover and twirling it in his fingers Devon simultaneously look at it from her. "Your too young to be worried about being a legend, besides from generation to generation you will be forgotten. Time is a funny thing, you may be a killer know, but a angel in the future" he said while looking sharply at her.
Aura asked what was the mansion like which Devon only replied by a smile. Still holding the clover in his hand he walked over to Aura and placed his hand out revealing the four leaf clover in the palm of his hand. "Here, I think with the path your walking your going to need more luck then me" he said while looking deep into her eyes.
"I'm very kind to those of my kind that have done nothing to those i Serve or to me" She said simply, her eyes barely blinked as she said it. She did not see herself as unkind, rather she was much more like a chess player, playing the game of life with the rules she was tought. Aura Guessed she did make a pretty strange sight with the blood on her clothing, and for the first time that night she considered changing, but this was far more interesting to her. "i was quite willing to go to the Mansion actually, but ol' Frosty wanted me to talk to the police first and that obviously was not going to work, come to think of it i owe him for finding the Sanctuary in the first place." She said with a shrug
"If no one recalls my existence i can live with that, my death in the end is simply the destruction of a weapon. The Humans sent many of my friends to visit the after life, the least i can do is return the favor. How i am recalled Matters little as long as my people survive" She said honestly, firmly believing that which she said. Aura, had never considered her own death anything to worrey about, she would die one day, Miracle had made sure they all knew they would she said that even though they were Mutants they were mortal. "Still you are quite correct" She said with a smile looking back into his eyes.
She took the clover and looked at it strangely not quite getting what it had to do with luck, still she smiled back to him "Um Thank you, but i have no belief in luck" She said admittedly, another concept that had been driven from her mind. "Maybe my path is false, but it is the one i have decided to travel" She said though she believed it it was hardly the complete truth. "All i can say is beleive in your path and follow your goals, even if one day that means we have to fight" She said witha wild smile at the idea of combat, still she kept his gaze. "So what is your goal from here?" She asked tilting her head though maintaining eye contact. "you look like a man who knows how to get what he wants in life" she continued, as she brought her hand which had been playing with the tree down to her side, her pink mini blades which had extended a bit like claws from her hand faded until it left the visual plane.

Standing close to Aura, the petals from the flower patches flowed around them both as they stood there. Yellow and purple flowers danced around them, and as they reflected the lunar light they sparkled around them both. "Um Thank you, but i have no belief in luck" Aura said while taking the clover. "Then maybe you should start" he said while examining the puncture marks on the tree more closely. A look of doubt came across he face and Devon tried to pin point what was causing it, but reading her was like reading a book upside down.
"All i can say is believe in your path and follow your goals, even if one day that means we have to fight" she said while a smile came upon her face. Devon smiled back at Aura and his gaze lightened as the more petals swarmed around them. "So what is your goal from here? You look like a man who knows how to get what he wants in life" she asked Devon as she brought her hands to her side.
Devon slowly walked away from Aura, walking in front of a dark shade which was created by two Trees while the strong breeze slowly settled. Facing the darkness he replied "My path you ask? I walk in the middle of good and evil, and my path is something anonymous at the moment" he said while the atmosphere in the park was getting thick. Turning back to Aura he gave a light smile and a peace sign "Maybe next time I'll tell you more about myself, and I won't be wearing my pajamas" he said with a smile. "It was nice talking to you Aura, even though your a crazy little girl" he said humorously.
She mentally dismissed the comment about luck, it tugged at her a bit, but luck was like magic, an explanation for something people did not understand, an effect of doing somthing even slightly different. Then again their own mutant Powers were alot like magic. In that sense Luck should be just as real as any of their powers she mentally reasoned. "Well maybe your right on the lukc part my friend" she said calmly, her voice sounded distracted as she considered the idea.
"Well im sure a true goal will form in time, out of what you have already manufactured for yourself" she said realizing that many people had goals they eather did not wish to share or did not truly know the core. Walking the Middle just made him sound like he was unable to decide to Aura. "Maybe you'l catch me in mine" she said with a laugh knowing it would not happon, as the only place those were worn was in her room, and then she would decapitate anyone who violated her room. " Ever consider, maybe it's this world that is crzy?" She said tilting her head again as he walked off, she smiled to herself. When she thought she was along, she formed a blade around her left arm, and cut deeply into the tree at her left, though not enough to hurt the tree to much, it was a childish jesture aimed at nothing more then amusing herself.

Devon gave a smile at Aura as he looked back into the darkness, he was glad that she accompanied him and made him think about where he really stands in his path. He was never to type plan his life, he always let time go by while he got what he wanted, and he guessed thats what a path was. Taking a one last look at Aura he stepped into the shadows which led to the street corner. A shadowy path came across Devon, the trees and plants seemed to fade as he walked from the park to the side walk. Street lights shined at Devon as he walked steadily down the curve. He was thinking about Aura all the way threw the mansion, and wondering what would be the next time they will meet.
While stepping in the mansion grounds a smile came upon his face as he made his way to the mansion. Looking back up at the moon the south breeze brushed the clouds leaving the moon a bare sight.
