The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Arielle spiraled towards Aura, readying herself for impact and laughing to herself thinking she had clearly won the battle. She was pulsating with enough force to drill through a dry wall. Any more power and with impact, Arielle could easily crush Aura, killing her. Something she didn't want to do.
Just as she was about to strike, the young mutant side stepped, avoiding the head on attack and Arielle felt a numbing strike through her. That damn sword aura sword again and the swipe managed to sever Arielle's water drill technique and the water elemental found herself spraying in all different directions. Great.
"Shit. Should have known it wouldn't have been that easy..." her consciousness cursed and slowly but surely began to recall her water particles back to each other. After doing so, the water elemental returned to her liquid-humanoid shape and stood before Aura once again.
"Nice..." was all she could say to the younger mutant. "You got lucky, but you better hope that luck doesn't run out!" Arielle growled. Turning her arms into water whips and her legs melted into a single stream, she jetted off like a hydrant towards the Order girl, furiously swiping her pressurized limbs. "Your parents obviously didn't discipline you enough, so I'll give you a lashing you won't forget!"

From his position, Nathan began to reevealuate his opinion of both Arielle and Aura. But mostly Aura because her abilities were previously foreign to him. He wondered to what extent she could use her abilities and what kind of other shapes and useful things she could do with her power.
Arielle did not disappoint though as she attacked with creativity. But Nathan would rather be simple and effective than creative. His battle with the mysterious air elemental taught him that. That was his style. Each person fought differently. It was their own choice of technique.
So far the battle intrigued Nathan but there was still no cause for alarm for him to interfere with the fight as of yet. Apparently their fighting was also attracting a few spectators as well. It wasn't everyday that humans saw mutants fighting each other in Central Park.
But in this city it's definitely possible, thought Nathan. He always thought it was a shame that he had to fight others of his own race. But if that's what it took to make the world a better place then so be it.
Nathan glanced through the newly arrived, interested faces of the crowd. There was an old man, a mother with her child, even a group of young teenage boys. Nathan saw a figure sitting at a bench. What was odd was that the person wasn't as intrigued as the others were. The figure simply sat on the bench with it's hood pulled up to cover it's features. Nathan dismissed it though and turned back to watching the fight.
The Aura did exactly what she had needed it to do, it stopped the drill form, but Arielle did just what was expected she simply reformed her body. What was the extent of the girl's power's, she took the few seconds while Arielle reformed to notice the crowd around, them, she smiled as an her idea began to grow fruit. Still She did not let her eyes linger long, instead smiling to the other Mutant as she responded.
"Your inexperience in combat is obvious though, Luck had nothing to do with it, because in truth their is only skill" She said in reply, her voice unable to hide the thrill and happiness that was running through her. She was able to dodge several of the whip strikes, still once cought her in the flank and sent her flying torward the crowd edge, near the mother and Child, though she stayed on her feet, her Blade swung cutting through the bag on the woman's arm, cutting it in two, it's contents spilled all over the ground. Grabbing an unused Diaper, she opened it and threw it at Arielle as soon a she got close, even as she took another blow that forced her back again. The Idea was to try to absorb as much of Arielle as possible, wondering if she could maintain her ability to transform with some of her trapped in a huggies. It was then she saw the hooded woman, though she was only able to see a glance, as she grabbed another of the improvised weapons. "I guess we will see if they really do leak!" She shouted gleefully.

Leila smirked menacingly as her fellow Order Member soaring towards the crowd. By then, she had slowly gotten to her feet. 'Way to improvise," she thought, watching as some of Arielle's substance absorbed into the diaper. She was about 10 feet away from the fight now, seperated by a few people, mostly young teenage boys that were definitely exited about watching two women fighting. Leila bit her lip, wondering if she should come in now. The order Member seemed to be doing well without her, maybe just linger around, just in case? She walked closer, shoving an old couple aside so that she was in the first line of spectators.
Right beside the child, who looked deadly terrified of the scenery. As Leila caught the kid's eye, he started crying. Leila grinned evily, and he turned away. Leila then looked back at the fight, trying to catch her partner's eye and signal without anyone else noticing, that she was reinforcement. How should she do it though? If she winked, Nathan was bound to see something, he was staring right at Aura, he would probably notice her wink.
Leila finally decided on just waiting. Waiting for Nathan to join in, once he light himself up, she would try and kick, shove or do something to Arielle's water-self so that it could move into Nathan's fire, and hopefully make her disapear into the air. Would she be able to reform herself then? Leila doubted that, but how do you move a puddle of water into some human-shaped fire?

"Are you serious?!" Arielle cried as she was bombarded by a diaper and then another. At first Arielle had thought Aura had gotten too desperate that she resorted to throwing pampers, but it didn't take long to catch on to the girl's real plan. Especially when she could feel a tiny change in her mass seeing a some of herself absorbed into the diapers.
"Smart," Arielle ceased in attack and somersaulted back a few feet, taking a defensive stance. This was truly a battle of skill and it would take more than strength to win it. She'd have to get just as creative as Aura was. The water elemental thought hard on what she could do to gain an upper hand. She couldn't risk being absorbed by pampers. Not only would she be defeated but it'd be the most humiliating defeat known to mutant kind. Aura had made use of what was available at hand, which just happened to be diapers fallen from the woman's purse. Arielle scanned her surroundings for anything. All she could see were people, trees, snow....snow. An idea clicked in her head. Arielle jetted over to a small pile and absorbed a bit into her liquid being, seeing as snow liquidated when in contact with water. Gaining back the mass she had lost from the pampers and more, Arielle turned back to Aura, grinning with delight.
"I've been trying to keep a calm level head about fighting you, but apparently, it's time I just go crazy...like a storm..." she grinned jetting quickly to the left and to the right. She continued this pattern a few times circling around Aura in an attempt to confuse the younger mutant. She had always attacked head on, and Aura countered it because she had been predictable. That and Arielle stuck to all the techniques she knew could do with her powers. Aqua jets and water whips where always clean and precise moves, but now it was time she lost a bit of control. To let loose. Be wild. And she would. With the acquired mass from the snow she had melted into her form, Arielle rushed towards Aura, letting control of herself, she moved at higher velocity and had literally become a miniature rain storm of raging water and rushed to surround Aura and deluge the young mutant. All the while Arielle increased her pressure making the beating of her water particles heavier and more powerful.
"Inexperienced in combat my ass. There's a reason why water is one of the most powerful forces on this planet and I'm about to show you why..." she consciousness spoke and the pressure and weight of herself ever increasing and battering the order member harder. "Preachy lady indeed. You might as well call me downpour because I'm about to wash you out." she added, unaware of the hooded figure looming closer and observing the battle.

Nathan watched in interest as the young girl used daipers as an attempt t absorb Arielle's liquid. It was quite ingenious and it showed that she thought outside the box. He felt he had to give credit where credit was due. But to be fair it nothing like that was going to happen again.
Facing the crowd of onlookers, Nathan said "I need everyone to stand back please. It is for your own safety and I'm sure that all of you have that in foremost part of your mind right now when you're watching a pair of mutants fight." The crowd surprisingly did as he asked. But just to be on the safe side the fire elemental created a wall of flames between the crowd and the fight.
The hooded figure that he had seen earlier was now standing in front of everyone else so his firewall appeared just behind her. Apparently the bench was no longer a reasonable perch for her to watch the brawl.
Nathan grew irritated with the person's lack of common sense. But rather than just have her stay there and get hurt the elemental elected to do the right thing. He walked up to the figure and said, "I would greatly appreciate it if you would get on the other side of that line. It would be in your best interest." As he spoke, he motioned his hand and the section of fire beside the person flared down to the ground leaving a line of burnt grass and earth.
She watched as the improvised weapons did their work, but they were two slow, and she knew it having never intended it to finish her opponent, only to push her to use more and more of her energy. She Had Noticed the Hooded woman, she felt anyone should have, she was different then the human scum somehow, but Aura did not dwell on this instead her gaze remained on the preacher.
"Ah so you were toying with me? I was hoping that was the case, otherwise this really would have been a boring fight" She said with a gleeful smile, her eyes sparkled as she laughed at the beauty of it all. "I'm looking forward to this" She said as she watched the woman grow. Despite her talk though Aura knew she was in trouble here. She lacked a way to directly fight back against a foe who could not be sliced. The Preachers ability to absorb snow into her body also disabled her trump card and so the fight would be tougher.
She glanced back at the wall of flame severing her ties to further human involvement in the fight, as Nerid shifted left and right, Aura stood there calmly, her eyes were glazed over as if was not even watching the speedy mutant, let her waste her energy. She had been careful with her own moves trying to conserve her energy for defense. "Power does not make up for experience, if you were any good, This would already be over" She said mocking the girl.
The girl had become a storm and had surrounded her quickly, Aura waisted no time, she turned and ran for the tree she had cut into earlier, She powered through the beating, the rain particles were taking on her shield. Focusing, On her blade she cut the tree at an angle as she leapt past it, the Tree fell, right for the crowd. She could have batted at her directly, tossing water drops left and right, or she could force the hero, to be a hero. She let her blades flow back into her aura, as she landed and broke for the edge of the storm, she kept going in the direction Nerid would have to move away from to save the humans in the way. The Flames would destroy some of tree she imagined, but a large part of it would fall upon the human's enough to Kill them.
She wondered what comment would come from the Water Bag now, still she has calm but happy. Either the angel would destroy the tree, or the water lady would, She hoped the angel would have to step in for her. Aura breathed a bit hard, the deluge, had done some work on her shield though it would not evident from her aura itself. She wipes some blood away from her nose. It was easy to see Arielle had more raw power then her, Aura's Control was better though.

Leila was getting slightly edgy with the fact that she wasn't fighting right now. She knew perfectly well that Aura seemed to be doing quite well on her own, but Leila had grown fond of the crazy rush of enjoyment fighting other Mutants or Humans ended up bringing to her. Mutants especially, because quite frankly, Humans had no chance against her kind. She had moved slightly in front of everyone else now, watching the fight with vague interest, trying to see when her queue would be. Aura, she was younger then Leila imagined, but she did seem a lot stronger and smarter then the average teenager.
Leila's eyes darted to Nathan for a breif second, as he spoke to the crowd. Right, she wasn't standing back, as everyone else did so, she actually took an other step forward, making her about six feet from the actual fight itself. A large wall of fire errupted from behind her, but she did not budge. She was expecting her friend to come this way and tell her off, and so he did. "I'm not going anywhere," she said, in a menacing, low voice that sounded nothing like her own. Perfect. She slowly drew back to weapon from under her sweatshirt, grinning evily at him. "I'm here for reinforcements." she breathed, suddenly swaying her blade towards Nathan.
Poor guy, she hoped inside that he'd be okay after this. It wasn't fair for him to get hurt because Arielle wanted to fight someone. She stepped forward again, leaning on the sword, smiling still.

Arielle's force grew more furious as she followed Aura in an attempt to slow her down. She had to give credit where it was due, this girl was putting up one hell of a fight and she was definitely lucky she had that aura barrier to give her some cover. Other wise, this would have been over seconds ago. Then Aura had finally managed to slip away from Arielle's down pour. The water elemental cursed, but did so even more when she saw the younger mutant cut through a tree.
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" Arielle's consciousness screamed. It was then Arielle realized that Aura truly had an advantage over her. The civilians. Aura could be as reckless as she wanted but Arielle was forced to hold back and always put others before herself due to her training. The tree wobbled a bit before it actually began to take it's fall towards the crowd. The water elemental had to act fast and she jetted towards the crowd and turned herself into a large and highly pressurized globe of water, taking the impact and held the tree back seconds before it was to make impact and spill blood. Not to mention causing a fire if the tree would have hit Nathan's flame wall.
With all the strength she could conjure, the water globe jetted upwards, giving Arielle the force to push the tree in the opposite direction where it would be clear of people to fall. After that feat, Arielle returned to her humanoid transmute state and took a knee and attempted to catch her breath. This Aura girl was beginning to work hard on her nerves. How could anyone be so reckless and uncaring about innocent lives? Not to mention that all these new techniques was starting to take a toll on her energy. She could easily clear a danger room session without breaking a sweat, this fight was on a completely different level.
"You're dirty, knowing damn well I'm not allowed to let people die if I can do something about it. Nice way to use that against me. I've been trying to hold back, but you're really starting to piss me off..." Arielle growled. Then looking to her right, she saw Nathan confronting a hooded figure. Arielle's eyes widened when she saw the mystery person take a swinging a blade at Nathan.
"Great, more trouble..." Arielle sighed and looked back to Aura. Arielle knew Nathan was stronger than herself and could handle his own. Right now, she had to handle her opponent and she waited for the young mutant's next cowardly move.

There was something about the hooded figure that Nathan found eerily familiar. He certainly couldn't recall ever meeting the girl before. The face drew an absolute blank when he thought about it. The fire elemental thought he would remember seeing a girl with red eyes and black hair. Perhaps it was the shape of her body or her posture that reminded him of someone he knew.
Nathan had very little time to think about it as the girl, Aura slashed a tree down on the unsuspecting crowd. Even if Nathan moved fast enough, he still didn't possess the right power to stop something of that size. Luckily, Arielle reacted quick enough to do something about it. And the crowd finally seemed to come to there senses as well. They ran off in panic, fleeing in the opposite direction of the brawling mutants.
The pyromancer couldn't have been more happy now that it was only mutants in the area. The only ones who would get hurt would be them. Well, all except the human girl who wore a hood. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm here for reinforcements." She started to take something out from under her sweatshirt now.
The fire elemetal saw the glint of metal and took a step back fearing that the girl had gun. He was no less surprised when she brandished a sword and started to slash at him with the blade. He easily dodged since he had already taken a step back from the girl.
Psh. I can do that. The sword of flames made it's appearence in Nathan's hand again. He figured he would try and reason with the girl though she obviously had some connection with Aura and in all likelihood was also a mutant. "What are you doing? There's no need for this."
Arielle played the hero, just as planned, the bonus being the girl's furious cry upon seeing just where the tree was heading. She had been rooting for the girl to fail at the job, simply because she was sure the the angel, could finish her, had he stepped in, they may have retreated and then what was going to come next would never have happened. She inwardly smiled assuming the angel would be just slightly annoyed. "Your the one who wanted to play hero and because of that they are vulnerable, you picked this fight, their blood is on your hands." She said calmly, as she again wiped away blood and then licked it from her fingers.
"I had no intention of hurting these Humans before you came, i was mugged and you picked a fight over that, you fools care so much about the humans you would have let me die tonight." She said her voice grew cold. "It seems i have a friend" she said as looked over to the hooded woman.
Aura needed to end this, With the humans gone, her last line of indirect combat failed, human shields as well as using the child to finish this were, almost extinguished but as her eyes looked over the area their had to be something, and then she spotted it, a kid, who must have wandered in from the opposite side of the wall of fire. She rushed forward suddenly, as she snatched the kid up using momentum and threw him, at Arrielle, she was sure the girl could dodge, but the Hero had to play her part.
Bringing her hands close to her side, her aura began to focus there, the aura surrounding her body faded until it went away, the concentrated blades formed and covered her hands and wrists from view. Before the Kid Could land, her blade came behind the child, Aura had aimed with the first, Aeriell could dodge or turn to water, but if she did the kid was going to have a very short life, the secound blade stayed behind, most of her power aimed at the child.

Leila smirked at Nathan, trying not to make any expressions he may of seen on her face before. She looked at him, her eyes scarlet and furious. "What am I doing?" she asked casually, a evil grin upon her delicate features. Then he face became serious again, as she approached Nathan, leaving about 4 feet distance. "What does it look like? I got a call, and now I'm coming to help my fellows out." she lifted her chin, directing it at Aura.
"I think," she wen't on, spotting Arielle's water-sheild, a slight impressed look upon her face. If she wouldn't of had been working right now, she would of congratulated the girl, but when she turned back to Nathan, all expression was gone, returning to seriousness. "it's rather silly of you X-folk to start a fight in the middle of a Human-filled Park. I would be ashamed. I thought X-Men were supposed to keep Humans away from harm... I thought you guys loved and cared about the slimy little scum bags that hurt so many of our kind."
She paused, glancing at Aura again, who now had a child, a pleading, crying child. Would Arielle let herself get seriously injured for a young child? Leila grinned evily, showing her perfect white teeth. "That's exellent work your doing there, I don't think you needed my help afterall." she said, gravely to the fellow Order Member. She turned back to Nathan, "So, where were we?" she hissed, taking one more, sly step forward and holding up her blade to match his Fire one's height.

"You're insane! I don't care more about humans than you, nor do I care more about you than humans. Even if you were mugged, that's no reason to have taken that man's life. Self defense is one thing, but killing is on a whole new level!" Arielle retorted, still attempting to catch her breath, but she was still really exhausted. Aura's next move was a cowardly one and Arielle's eyes widened as she suddenly saw a human child flung her way. Arielle bolted to catch the human and the impact of the child sent her to the ground.
All Arielle saw next was the glowing of Aura's blades behind the child sitting a top of her, the water elemental's next reaction was instinct. Having no time to think, Arielle flipped herself over to protect the child and it was as if time froze at that moment. Arielle had forgotten how the pain of a blade felt since every time we was confronted with one, she would revert to her liquid state to avoid harm. And for the first time since discovering her powers, Arielle saw her blood flow from a wound. The the aura blade poking out from her stomach. The water elemental and coughed, spilling more of the crimson liquid onto the crying child that laid beneath her.
"Shit...." she cursed in a low raspy voice before, and felt her body getting weaker, her vision blurrier and her breaths shortening. "Nathan...help...!" she let out a cry with the last of her strength. The human child soaked in blood had gotten the sense to scramble from underneath Arielle and ran off in search for his parent or someone to comfort him. Luckily he did, as Arielle's body went limb and slid from Aura's blade and onto the cold, frost dusted ground.

"We started nothing. It was all Aura. The only reason humans strike back at us is because they fear us. They've always feared what they don't understand. And mutants like you and your friend here aren't giving them any other reason not to."
The girl before Nathan had really started to irritate him with her indifference to life. No matter what race they were. Human or mutant. It did not matter. Life was life. Having heard enough of the girl Nathan slashed with his sword at hers. His blade struck true but it then wrapped around the length of her sword. With a sudden pull, Nathan disarmed the mysterious girl and stood there glaring at her thinking about finishing her off.
Then came the cry form Arielle. "Nathan...help...!" Nathan turned as saw his friend lying on the snow covered ground with blood seeping through a wound in her abdomen. The elemental had never reacted so fast in his life.
One moment he was standing next to the enigma of a girl, next he was sprinting to Arielle side with flames burning away his shirt and the jacket that he wore. His wings sprouted from his shoulder blades then as he scooped up Arielle in his arms. All he could think about her was getting her to the Mansion for some treatment.
His wings easily lifted both of them from the ground and well into the air. The pyromancer thought about one last strike to get back at the two mutants but that just wasn't his way. And Arielle needed him then and he wasn't going to let her down. Nathan flew off in the direction of the Mansion as fast as her could.
She felt her blade strike home and the cry of the girl rang through her ears, and her momentum carried her forward, as she turned she saw Seraph, race to her side, and watched his wings emerge as well as some of his clothing burn off, a defensive maneuver she guessed, but it was not needed, Aura's blade had already began dissipating and she lost the ability to form the blade. Her aura put up a weak barrier, but it would have been nothing Seraph could not have ripped through.
She had wanted to play hero and now she wounded, aura, knew her blade had been off and not killed as she had intended. Had the move failed, she would have lost the fight. Aura kneeled a bit over the grass, and expelled bloody vile from her stomach, something she had been hiding since the water storm. Regaining her Composure she looked over at the hooded girl with just a nod at first.
"Sorry to call you and have all the fun, i had believed the Angel would have struck as well" She said as a sense of calm retook her voice. "Would you believe this was all because i defended myself from a thief?" She said shaking her head before continuing. "I'm Aura, So what should i call the person who watched my back?" She asked still catching her breath, wondering briefly if that preacher lady would live.
