"Hey Raina. This is Shin and Codi." He said indicating the two guys in turn. Codi definitely seemed shy around beautiful women. Shawn smiled at her. "Codi just arrived here and Shin's been here about a week. I'm just giving them a little tour of the place. Haven't seen you since your party. Ya look good." Streak said continuing their conversation. He always would have preferred hanging out with her rather than give two people tours. Raina always made people happier.

Raina grinned "I haven't been home much since the party I've been spending all my time at work and with Lu-' she cut herself off embaressed "er, uh, well. I've been busy." she winked. "But I'm feeling much happier since the party that's for sure. I'm taking a trip soon." she commented. She looked to the two young men. "new comers eh? Well, sorry I wasnt around to meet you when you arrived Shin." she said extending her hand to meet his. "And welcome Codi! I hope you both enjoy it here. I'm the resident music teacher but I'm also a guidence councelor if you ever need a place to vent about your mutation or just life in general." she added.

"Are you both enjoying the mansion so far? Streaky-poo here isn't boring you is he?" she grinned evily at Streak.

codi felt as thou he had butterflies in his stomach. "um it is a good place to live to live." he said rather horseishly. immedaitly after saying that lots of his blood flowed out of the souls of his feet codi passed out. people stopped around them when they saw a new student laying in a pool of his own blood

“…” Shin nearly twitched as the blood came flowing out. He opened his mouth to say something, but all that came out was a squeak. “Maybe we should go get the doctor? New kid doesn’t look so good.”

He turned his eyes to Shawn and Raina uncertainly. This sort of thing hadn't ever happened around him before. Sure, the random boxer had gotten a nosebleed, but this... it left him at a loss.

Streak blushed and rolled his eyes at Raina's nickname for him. He was, however, brought back to his senses when Codi randomly started leaking blood out the bottom of his feet. Passing out is never a good thing. "I see you still have that affect on boys, don't you Raina?" Streak said countering Raina's comment. "Ya know this get really old after a while." He couldn't even count the number of times that he'd taken people to the infirmary for one reason or another.

Streak proceeded to pick up Codi and began carrying him towards the infirmary. "Come on guys lets go. I'm sure the doc will definitely want to keep a close eye on this one."

Raina watched as Codi passed out. "Oh no, part of his mutation?" she looked to Streak for confirmation. "Sorry Shin." she added. "This is why people come here, to get help with this kind of thing." she grinned. "Poor Codi can't be all out in public with blood gushing out of his feet." she checked his pulse and temperature. "Doc Prof will know what to do. He should probably get aquainted with Codi, Shin it wouldn't be too bad for you to know who he is either. Why don't you guys take him and I'll clean this up." she looked at the pool of blood

“Sure…” Shin trailed, bending over to grab an arm. “You grab one too. We’ll lift together.” He tried to ignore the blood on the ground. Was she really okay with cleaning that up? He mentally shrugged. Someone has to. The important thing to think about now was getting the boy to the doctor.

Streak proceeded to pick up Codi and with Shin's help headed towards the infirmary. "I don't know if that's part of his mutation or something he can't control. Either way I don't think it's a good thing." Streak said. "Alright let's go Shin." It didn't take long to get to the infirmary and once there Shawn called for DocProf. He appeared from his office in the back and took a look at the kid Streak and Shin were carrying. "Streak you've got to be more careful." he said smiling at the silver eyed young man.

"Hey I didn't do this he did it on his own. Blood started leaking from his feet and he passed out." Shawn told the doctor. "Put him over here. I'll take a look at him." the doc said indicating the nearest bed. "He says his power is to manipulate the blood in his body. Apparently he's not that good at keeping it in his body." Streak said a little sarcastically. DocProf then went about 'working his magic' as it were so that he could figure out what was going on with Codi.

codi began to regenerate his blood. just laying there he started to wake up. "hello...is anyone there." he layed there slowly pulling himself togeather. codi thought back to the other times this had happened.

Shin helped Shawn move the body, and when they reached the doctor’s room they set it down on the indicated bed. Shin dusted his hands off and took a step back to clear way for the doctor.

“Poor thing,” Shin replied as the doctor stepped past to ‘work his magic’. “I’m glad he was here instead of on the street when that happened, though… just think. That would have been awful.” The corners of his mouth sunk as he thought about it. People were always so cruel to those that were different than them.

Shin’s fist clenched at his side as he gathered resolve. Maybe if people couldn’t see the good in those around them… maybe he’d have to help show the world an example of what it looked like. His mind flashed back to the events from a few days earlier.

“I was wondering…” He looked up at Shawn as if he had something on his mind. “What it takes to join up…”

In the background, the doctor pressed his fingers against Codi’s temples, and as he focused, he glowed with a faint white light.

"Ya good thing it happened here and not somewhere else. No one would have taken him to the hospital or anything." Streak agreed with Shin. He continued to watch what DocProf was doing. It always amazed him that he was able to heal so many different people with so many different powers all coming in with different wounds. Although Streak had been in here so many times that he doubted that he could even come in with anything he hadn't had once before. Shawn thought about that for a minute. How many times had he actually been in here? He was brought back from his wondering when Shin spoke to him.

“I was wondering…” “What it takes to join up…”

"Join what?" Streak always liked playing dumb with the students when it came to joining the X-Men. He was going to continue when Codi woke up. Streak walked over to him and said, "I'm still here. How're ya feelin'?" He had a feeling he knew what the answer would be but he wanted to know for sure.

codi blushed for makeing them worry "where am i, who are you two" he was slightly embarrassed for the words had slipped out before he could stop them. now he severly regreted it. "i apologize for...my words." he flinched as thou he expected to be struck.

“Don’t worry about it,” Shin replied softly. “You just passed out and we carried you here. Any person would ask those same questions if it happened to them. The important thing is how you feel. Are you feeling any better?”

Shin’s eyes were sincere.

Streak watched with great care as Codi woke up. Was delusion or amnesia common with hid powers? Streak wondered. Shin also seemed worried about Codi. That was good. You can't always have someone on your team that doesn't care about the lives of others, especially the innocent. Shin didn't know it but if he was going to become part of the X-Men, Streak was going to start his surveying now. Shawn wasn't going to say anything until he had learned if Codi was alright.

codi sat up a little then grasped his side as if he had been stabed by an invisable knife. "ugh...i'll be better in no time. at least this time they didn't take me to the morgue." he tried to force a laugh but the memories of what they did to him in that day would haunt him for the rest of his life. "it's no big deal this has happened a few times before." he shuttered.
