The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Hand in paws Sam fought Adien with all his strength this beast had to be put down, there was still a chance that TATMAH didn’t know where he was and if Adien escaped their was the chance that they would come for him in numbers and instead of just him being taken back they would take the students and his friends. There was no way that was going to happen. Sam shifted his weight and pulled his right fist back and balled it up into a fist and was about the strike Adien when he felt a blow to the chest.
"GET. OUT." "Go away and leave us alone!"
Sam was knocked back a few inches as a gust of wind pushed him further from Aiden, “No!” said Sam as he tried to move closer to Aiden his feet using the ice around him to help him gain some distance in the funnel of wind that was a courtesy of his friend ghost.
"Come back when you can behave."
“This doesn't concern you GHOST!!” yelled Sam as he tried to figure how to get to the cat. Sam’s eyes started to grow a deep shade of blue as the moonlight reflected off of them as the air around him started to fist, which carried through the funnel surrounding him. “Stop the Funnels NOW!” screamed Sam as he continued to sound more anxious than anything, “I have to stop him!” said Sam as he lifted both his hands and poured all his powers into his hand shooting shards of ice along with beams of coldness that usually turned to ice when it hit something.
"Why are attacking my friend, Aiden!? And Sam, why are you attacking my date!? Have you lost your freaking minds? I mean, I know men can be bullheaded, but Jesus Christ! Both of you are going to stop this right now! I won't have it! Bring your testosterone levels down, or I swear, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!"
Sam could hear Arielle but that didn’t matter he had to kill the beast before he got away or worse took Sam in the process. “LEAVE US BE!!!!” yelled Sam as he started pouring more and more power into his assault on the funnel.

The invisible blow to the chest came out of no where. At first the weretiger thought that Sam had managed to get a strike in unawares. But that would not have been possible for the shifter's attention was focused completely on it's opponent. It could not have been caught unawares so easily.
Having the breath knocked out of it, the weretiger went into shock and receeded. The result was Aiden's body changing back into it's human state. From his hands and knees, Aiden breathed as deeply as he could trying to get the air back into his lungs.
"Come back when you can behave."
"This doesn't concen you. Leave us alone and go on about your business," said Aiden to the new arrival. He was quite annoyed with her for stopping their brawl.
Aiden made ready for the weretiger to take over again. He was certainly more tired than he ever had been after a transformation. It was in part due to the totalness of the weretiger's control during this particular transformation. And the suddeness as well.
Whatever the strength of the two former agents' powers from their days fighting together, Aiden knew that Sam had gained more strength than he had since each of their respective escapes. Aiden was not about to lose this fight though. Not to Sam. Not to anyone.
Sam's ice projectiles bounced back at him, though the condescend cold swirled along inside of her barrier. "This doesn't concen you." "Leave us alone ." The boys were practically broken records.
"This is my home and my family. Get. Off. My. Lawn."
Ghost pushed the barrier forward steadily so that the no-longer-cat-man would be forced to retreat or take a hefty amount of slapping wind to the face. Sam was shouting at her, but she wasn't actually listening to him. He was angry and needed to cool his head before he was allowed to express his opinion.
Even Arielle was shouting, though she seemed more angry at Sam, not that he didn't deserve it for freezing the girl solid. Wait... how had she gotten out? That would be something she would need to ask her after she drove away the bad kitty.

"Aiden! God damn it!" Arielle cried watching Ghost's barrier of swirling wind drawing nearer to the weretiger shifter. Everyone assumed he was the bad guy...well, he did go berserk and attack Sam...but that wasn't the point! No one would listen to reason. This was her home too and no one cared about anything she had to say.
"Aiden, I'm coming!" Arielle cried, shifting to her liquid mode and jetting around the barrier of wind. Though the winds were strong, the water elemental's will was stronger. She was not about to have the best thing to happen to in her life literally get blown out of it. Going wide around the barrier and jetting towards Aiden, Arielle reformed to her human self and wrapped her arms tightly around him.
"I'm sorry you had to meet them on these terms..." she said looking up at him, her hair blowing widely in the currents. "Just know from here on out, whatever you go through, I'm right here. Starting now." and she spoke those words sincerely from her heart. Hopefully, holding on to him, would cause Ghost to back off if she ddin't want to blow away a friend. Then again, Sam who she thought was her friend froze her over. What the hell were these people's definition of friendship? Guess she'd find out soon.

Sam winched as his ice shards were caught by the wind and brought into his face. ‘Damn it Ghost…’ thought Sam as his anger was reaching a head again, he had to stop Aiden, he had to kill him no matter what he wasn’t going to risk letting Aiden go just s he can bring TAT reinforcements to take Sam back to the life he didn’t want to live again.
Sam watched as Arielle went from her water form to her human form only to wrap herself around Aiden, ‘your going to get yourself killed’ thought Sam as he mentally gave Arielle a warning. He knew that Aiden was just using her as a shield; he always did fight to win. “DAMN IT!” Sam yelled as he felt himself getting more and more worked up.
Slamming his right foot to the ground Sam’s ice dug itself into the ground to give him the leverage he needed to keep moving further. The left foot repeated the process then the right again. Faster than the last Sam’s momentum began to pick up speed as he started to form a sword made of ice, he had to end this. Arielle would be fine she wasn’t his target the beast she was holding on to was.

Arielle was suddenly in front of Aiden with her arms wrapped around him apologizing for the way her friends were acting. Aiden couldn't believe the girl. He was deeply touched by her promise. He had always been on his own before then. The thought of her companionship wasn't entirely unpleasant either.
Aiden imagined that she must feel very confused right now. What with him and Sam attacking each other and now her friend trying to get rid of him. He couldn't think of a situation that he had been through that was quite like this. And yet she was still standing in front of him. Protecting him from people she knew better than she knew him.
Something nagged at him though. Arielle said she knew both of them. How could she know Sam. Unless he infiltrated this school in hopes to get to him. But that would have had to been in the last couple of days. It was all to entangled for Aiden to unravel at the moment.
What he did understand was that Sam was now advancing toward him and Arielle. The shifter wasn't going to let Sam lay his hands on her. Not now, not ever. Aiden changed positions so that Arielle was now behind him and he was in between her and Sam. "It's ok. Everything's going to be fine," he said trying to reassure her.
The shifter was too tired for the full transformation. So he settled for simply his arms and legs. That way he could still maintain his human process of thought and not have it lost among his more basic, bestial urges. Sam still came on. Aiden tensed up in a crouching stance to protect Arielle from him.
OOC: permission given for a take down. (hope i didn't do it too soon )
Arielle, one of the most vicious fighters Ghost had ever seen in the danger room went to stand beside the man. No, not beside, in front of. Arielle was protecting him from... her. Herself and Sam. Sam who was pushing his way stubbornly through her barrier.
There were lots of things that didn't add up in this scenario, but one more than the others: Sam. Ghost blew herself between the man who had gone cat again and the slowly advancing Sam. The barrier meant nothing now so she dismissed it or rather she changed it. She focused the stream of air at Sam and Sam alone as she called his name.
He didn't even seem to notice that she was there and that left one thing. It was tricky to keep up the steady blast of swiftly moving wind while she changed into her more solid state. It left her back completely exposed to the supposed enemy. Arielle had better have chosen wisely because she was trusting her to be the sane one in this situation. Sam was just acting to weirdly.
Once solid enough, Ghost put her hand on Sam's chest, and started forcing the air from hi lungs. "Sam, look at me. Tell me what's going on." She hardly able to hold him back and prepared herself to take any hit he might try to get past teh gush of winds. He was straining forward like his life depended on it. His own straining would make his exhalations go faster. "I'm sorry, Sam."
Arielle sighed, watching Aiden take another stand, waiting for Sam to come with his ice blade. Luckily Ghost was keeping Sam at bay, but still. Aiden getting back up for a fight wasn't helping the situation. Even if it was for her. "Men..." she muttered under her breath, thinking of how much better things would be if she were into women. While she and Ghost were trying to prevent the violence, Sam and Aiden were just dying to tear each others throats out.
"Seriously, I hope I never have sons," she said getting back to her feet and walking in front of Aiden once more. "Sam, listen to me, no pun intended but...chill the f*** out!" she screamed having more than enough. "Why did you even attack him?" Arielle asked turning back to the weretiger shifter. She was protecting Aiden, but he wasn't all that innocent since he did attack first. "Do you guys know each other or something?! What is really going on?"

Sam could feel him self get heavy as Ghost had his hands on his chest which as still covered in a layer of ice, “GHOST… Got…. too…. stop…. him…” said Sam as he continued to push forward trying to get to Aiden. Why was everyone protecting him? He was the one that attacked first he was the one that was going to get everyone killed… or worse. Sam felt betrayed as he tried to go through Ghost by continuing to walk forward each step was a bit more sluggish than the last, “Not sorry enough…” Sam muttered as he continued to move forward his breathing became something of gasps for air.
‘I need to get him” Sam thought as he tried to focus on his golem power, ‘come on work…’ Sam looked over to Aiden as a small ice foot sprouted up next to him only to shatter seconds later, ‘Damn it’ thought Sam as his thoughts began to become as sluggish as his body.
Sam’s eyes shifted to Arielle and frowned and then shifted to Ghost and he gave a look that said, ‘you made a mistake’ with that the ice covering Sam shattered and Sam fell forward. His eyes slowly closing before he hit the ground. One word escaped from his lips before he was rendered unconscious “TAT”

Aiden had been prepared for everything. Everything but what happenned. The wind elemental was now focusing her attack only on Sam. For which he was very grateful. But he wondered why. Then he knew. It was Arielle. The elemental obviously trusted her judgement about the strange mutant that she had brought home more than Sam.
The shifter could not figure out Sam's relationship between the two women though. It was obviously something more than acquaintanceship but how much more? Aiden wasn't bout to question his good fortune.
Arielle was asking questions that Aiden didn't want to answer. Questions that he never wanted her to know the answers to. "It's complicated. I'll try and explain everything later. This really isn't the best time." He said motioning to Sam.
At the mention of TAT with Sam's last breath, Aiden wanted to claw his eyes out. The nerve of him. The less everyone knew about them the better. What would have happenned if one of the two women had recognized the name? Nothing good, that's what. "Is he going to be alright?" Aiden asked hoping for a no to the question.
“GHOST… Got…. too…. stop…. him…” "Tell me why and I will stop, Sam. Give me a reason."
But he couldn't, or rather he didn't. He just looked at her with betrayal written all over his face. She could see him struggling to hold on even as she felt the last bits of air draining from his body. “Not sorry enough…”
No, she wasn't sorry enough to stop and would continue to not be sorry for breaking up a pointless fight. She'd thought it was a simple matter of intrusion, but now... It was like a vendetta between these two. Ghost had never seen Sam like this before.
As Sam's pushing weakened, Ghost's buffering winds lessened until finally... finally the stubborn ice man fell forward. Right onto Ghost. She tried to catch him, but weighed down with the coating layer of ice, he was just too heavy. So she fell backward on her butt. Hard. with Sam landing neatly against her stomach. Suddenly Ghost was breathless and looking up at the cloudy winter sky.
"TAT" he said. As if TAT was going to make up for his irrational behavior.
Panting to catch her breath again, Ghost hesitated when the stranger spoke up. >>"Is he going to be alright?"
Ghost grumbled and shoved at Sam's heavy limp body until he rolled off of her. She touched his chest making certain that his automatic breathing functions had taken over when he lost consciousness.
"He'll be fine." Ghost took her time standing. She brushed off her achey bottom and smoothed her skirt always mindful of keeping herself between her teammate and the newcomer. No matter how much Nereid trusted the cat man, Ghost didn't. He hadn't exactly behaved himself as of yet. "I believe you have some explaining to do. Inside if you like, but if you cause bodily harm to anyone in this school, you will leave."
Ghost wasn't much for threats, but the memory of the birthday brawl was too fresh in her mind. It wasn't too harsh to ask someone to leave after they cause harm to someone. It was common sense. She sighed and looked at Sam who lay on his back on the cold ground, not that he would mind but it would probably be best if they got him inside before he got the chance to go nutso again. "Help me carry him, Nereid?"

Arielle was more than relieved when Sam had collapsed. However she was still worried about him. He might have lost his marbles, but she knew he was still a good guy. He was the first person she met here at the mansion and the first to show kindness. He was special and hoped he would make a recovery.
"Puta!" Arielle screamed kicking Sam in his side. "Sorry...he froze me." she sighed and nodded as Ghost asked for her help to carry him inside. She grabbed Sam's legs and waited for Ghost to grab the other end. She couldn't help but wonder about the last thing that came from Sam's lips. What was a TAT? And why was Aiden being so secretive about hos motives behind attacking Sam? Something wasn't right. That was a fact. She wouldn't tolerate secrets. There was no use in being someone's lover and friend if your couldn't confide in them. That applied to Aiden and Sam.
"Indeed, Aiden, I suggest you come in. We're going to have a nice little chat. You can't just attack my friends like that and get off the hook that easily. I know there's a reason and you will tell me." she said authoritatively. He could hold out as long as he wanted, but eventually, she knew he'd break. If not tonight, he surely will when he gets tired of using his hand.

Aiden could have growled when they decided to bring Sam inside with them. There would be no argument with the white hair. Knowing they didn't trust him enough to carry Sam, the shifter simply followed the three of them inside.
There would be no avoidence from the truth now. His past had come back to haunt him. The worst of it was, he didn't know if Arielle would still have feelings for him after she knew the truth. He pondered how life would be without her for a moment. It would certainly be less joyful and loving without her. But it was a life nonetheless. If it came to that he would still manage to live on. He always did.
Aiden became very aware of the frigid air then. He shivered slightly and put his hands in his pockets, bringing his arms close to his sides. A life without Arielle was worse than any kind of pain the weather could inflict.
The shifter followed the group inside and into a room that look to Aiden like it would be warm enough. He simply sat down in a chair and waited for them to see to Sam, however much it annoyed him that they were doing it.
It occured to him that he could run right then. Without a word he would be gone. He could never face Arielle again if he did that. Besides, she would force the information out of Sam one way or another. And he would rather tell her himself. Besides, once you start running it's a hard habit to stop.
She wasn't quite sure what CS would do when he woke up so after Arielle helped her deposit Sam into a kitchen chair, Ghost dug through some drawers in the kitchen until she found duct tape. It was short work to run the tape around his ankles and the chair leg. She didn't stop there, though, but ran the tape all the way up his calf until there was no more chair leg left.
"Mister Kitty, you'd better start explaining to me why I am taping one of my best friends down to a chair before I get grumpy about it." She didn't turn around to face the man as she spoke, but rather kept taping Sam's other leg. Ghost had the foresight to put a kitchen towel down on his arms before she similarly mummified them. There was no point in ripping off the poor guy's arm hairs just because he was having some weird man PMS.
In the end, Sam was thoroughly taped into one of the kitchen chairs and Ghost sat next to him with scissors and more tape. If he woke up and behaved, she'd cut him out. If not, she would use the tape to cover his mouth next. Expectant honey eyes went to Aiden. He'd better talk fast or he was next. And then she would leave them in the Danger room facing each other, both immobilized until someone got a bright idea, got out and killed the other or until they she determined that they were new best friends.
