The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Emmy found your scent and we followed it. I found your cellphone wedged into the grate around a tree and... well, we'll just say I figured it out."
He sighed. That time in the street seemed so long ago. "So I sent Emmy back with your phone, picked a fight with the guys who were still lingering in the area after catching you, and let them catch me too."

"Emmy has my phone?" Daria sighed. "If I had it we could probably get out of here. We're still in the country right? I blacked out for I don't know how long."

"I... yeah, I'm pretty sure. THey didn't seem to be beating me long enough to even get out of state. And she has your phone... I didn't figure that having it on me and letting them get ahold of it was a good idea. I hope you don't mind, but I told her to give it to Tricity and have her call your... friend if I didn't make it back."

It's the go out part I don't like." Daria mumbled but she could fell it. This was her end. "But I guess you're right. Better that way." She curled herself into the best ball she could without hurting herself.
Jaya was just beginning to come to again. She had been forced out of her clothes and into a hospital gown that clung to her clammy skin. She felt sick, as though the fact that she didn't have the extra energy she was used to was actually draining her of what little she did have. She had been taken into a room and questioned, she couldn't remember the questions, she couldn't remember her answers, all she could remember was that she'd gotten herself into more trouble somehow and had ended up back in her cell, bruised and possibly a little bit bloody, she wasn't sure. All she knew was that it hurt. She was in a different cell now too, this one only containing room for one person, this one she could actually see out of, as it was more like a jail cell than her first, more confining, room. She could hear voices, people were talking, it sounded like other prisoners. "Is someone there?" she called out weakly.

"Yeah... we can hear you," Mike said weakly, a bit more disheartened now that he knew that they weren't the only ones in for it.
"And we might not be going out, baby... Just keep hoping. All we need to do is hit fresh air where you can 'port. I make sure we get out of here, you make sure we get far away. Keep it simple, keep it possible."
"What's going on?" Jaya said, sensing that these other prisoners were planning somethin and she was out of the loop. She was feeling more and more drained with every passing moment. Was she really losing energy, or was it just because she wasn't used to it? What if I'm using up the naturally stored energy in my body to make up for what's missing, Jaya thought, getting worried.

Once again Sapphire was sent to patrol the hallways with a clipboard in her hand. The woman rolled her eyes as two lumbering idiotic humans followed behind her. They had been given a steroid serum for the past 4 years and both looked like 7 foot gorillas. They where the only non Sadistic guards she could find but they still liked to hit people because they made 'funny noises'.
Sapphire jotted various items down, Dingo tail showing from under her lab coat, a clear sign that she had been using her powers allot lately. Sapphire stopped in front of Daria's cell.
"Mungo, Jungo relocate the subject into the cell next to hers." Sapphire ordered, watching as the two lumbering Idiots looked at her strangely.
"Did you not hear me? Put the girl in the cell next to hers."
"...."
"Oh for the love of god, move Kitty to blond boys cell with a Whee." Sapphire grumbled.
This was what they two understood, they opened the door to Daria's cell and dragged the cat woman out. Every once and A while they would poke at her wounds or pick and the dried blood with their calloused fingers. to see if she would do anything before they threw her in Mike's cell. The Giants lumbered off down the hallway to do who knows what.
Sapphire sighed, rubbing her temples gently. "You just cant find good help these days." Sapphire rolled her eyes before looking at everyone. "So how fun where your examinations? I bet they where just so fun you can hardly stand it."
((SOrry about the G modding...I think I G moded but I digress, If anyone wants me to change this I will. I needed to add this in anyways)

Daria didn't fight back but she hissed in pain several times. She couldn't show she had any energy just yet. She landed heavy on her back-her freshest wound and groaned before rolling onto her side.
"Ow." she muttered. Then she heard Sapphire speaking to her and wasn't quite sure if she heard sarcasm or not.
"It was great, you should try it sometimes." she muttered.

Mike gritted his teeth, and had lunged for the guards, but only succeeded in getting the bars slammed in his face. "Turn the inhibitor off, see just how tough you feel," he muttered through clenched teeth as he crouched protectively over Daria, examining her wounds.
This was, really, the first Daria had been able to see Mike clearly since they'd come in. His face was puffy, and most of it bruised, from the beatings. One eye was swollen almost shut. He was favoring his right hand, which looked like it had been stomped on a few times, and his skin was sporting just as many cuts as Daria's... if not more, given how much Mike had fought back.
Still, at the moment, seeing Daria had lit the defiant fire back into his eyes, and the tired, beaten prisoner was forgotten. Even without his powers and with his injuries, he looked somewhat intimidating. Still, he held his tongue and just glared at Sapphire. She was playing a part... but he didn't have to like the part she was playing.

"Sorry I had mine last month and I particularly dont want to go through it again." Sapphire stated with a smirk, eyes gleaming with a bid of sadistic glee. She heard her watch vibrate and rolled her eyes, "What is it doctor?"
"I would like you to complete you patrol with Bloodfang." Fusionists voice crackled.
"No way in hell, we dont even have a full data file on him yet to be able to trust him with patrol." Sapphire spat, clearly fuming.
"Now, Now sapphire we dont want to have another session for that attiutude of yours now do we?"
"No master...send him in."
As Bloodfang walked into the room an ominous silence fell upon the cellmates for bloodfang looked as if he was hit by a truck. He had bruises and cuts all over his body and yet he was smiling. He walked to sapphire with a grin. "If you are wondering, yes I had an encounter with you sister."
Sapphire growled at Bloodfang. "You sick bastard if you-"
"Oh for the love of god she beat the living shit out of me do you honestly think I could have done anything to her? I did however get something to remember her by this time." Bloodfang smirked, pulling out Emerald's blood stained necklace from his pocket. He let out a yelp as Sapphire punched him with inhuman strength down the hallway.
"Leave asshole." Saphire growled, puttng Emmys necklace in her pocket as BF ran off with his tail between his legs. The older woman sighed deeply. "How dare he take the gift I made for emmy."
For a moment sapphire was caught in her own thoughts upon the last christmas the family spent together and how she gave the necklace to Emerald with a small grin on her face. "She still wears it..." Sapphire said softly, pulling off a smal smile.
((Sapphire is caught in her own thoughts to anyone is aloud to interupt
Jaya was caught up in wondering what on earth an x-man was when the woman came back. She watched all that happened, seeing everything from her across-the-hall view. She didn't understand a lot of what was going on, the draining affect that her lack of powers was having on her seemed to leave her more dazed and confused than usual. She made an attempt to lean forward and realized that she could no longer sit upright without leaning against the wall. She sighed, feeling the cold wall press against her skin through the thin fabric of the hospital gown. She felt weaker than ever. "Oh help me," she said to no one in particular, she was just praying that she'd make it out of this alive.
