Emerald nodded to Tricity's request of one water soaked Sentinel. The wolf Girl smiled before she started to concentrate on the nearest water source which was the pond in front of the school. Emerald smiled as the Pond water created a tidal wave that was sent crashing down upon the Sentinel and the Sentinel only.

The sentinel looked down at Emerald and before the Wolf girl could react it shot an eye beam laser at her, causing her to slam into a tree. Normally it would have killed any mutant with the lasers but it had been set on stun because it was getting orders to capture Oceanwolf. She felt some of her ribs crack as she slammed face first into the bark. Her entire body felt as if it were on fire as she began shifting her position to face Tricity.

She had a busted lip as she turned around wobbly, eyes focusing on Tricity. "Now would be a really good time to shock that thing before it takes me to the labs!" Emerald growled anxiously.

"Capture Oceanwolf for further study the Sentinel said, moving closer to Emmy.

*Tricity stepped foward, her eyes completely black, as she concentrated on the robot. She shot the electricity from her eyes, a blue and white, jagged energy blast hit the sentinel. It started circling in place and shocks shot off from its body, showering the lawn.*
sentinel: "Orders...ord...ord....receive....shut....power....shut down...."
*Orion used more chaos to build in his fist, slamming it down on the ground again. The sentinel staggered and fell to the lawn, completely shutting down. Tricity didn't want to touch Emerald, for fear of shocking her. She bent next to the girl and looked her over.*
"Are you alright, hun?"

"Yep, I gotta a busted lip, brusied and some broken rib bones but I feel fine otherwise." Emerald said with a grin. Her tail wagged back and forth weakly as she looked at Tricity.

"I guess this is all in a days work for us. All we need is someone ride on the back of a Senital and then we can have a party."

Mike joined the group, crouching protectively over Emerald with his telekinetic shield surrounding them. "Tell me... Tricity, are you attached to that van?" he asked, still looking rather tired from decapitating the sentinel, nodding back toward the empty van they'd returned in.

Daria only slightly overheard the conversation. She was busy throwing her tired body at one Sentinel that was trying hard to get into the mansion. it was shooting something Daria couldn't teleport so she was dodging and weaving. Finally she dove forward and kicked the sentinal hard in it's center. It hardly made a dent but it stumbled off course shooting a tree which fell on top of it. It was immobile for the minute. She jumped behind a sentinel and teleported it over the head of another dropping it and causing a large crash.

Bast appeared once again beside Tricity and Cass just in time to hear his question.

"Seriously, we'll just buy you a new van...decked out with the logo and on hydrolics.." she promised.

Riruki was last to get out of the van, her head was throbbing and she was felling dizzy.

But her thoughts of the school really filled her conciousness with a strong desire to help out. So she got out and began firing whatever blasts she could produce. Many of them were useless because earth blasts were the only ones that worked on inanimate objects. She tried to control the blasts and make the ones she wanted to.


She did manage to make a distraction and a commotion before her dizzyness overcame her and she collapsed.

Michael swore as he darted out from where they were standing, scooping Riruki off the ground before a Sentinel could notice her. He protected them both with his shield as he ran back to the group. "I can throw the van, but I need someone to ignite it. Any takers?" he called as he came running back.

(x-men arrived back from the museum, sentinels pwned, this part of the SL is about over. no more order, jus' go ahead and post if you've something to say Fade.

Kalt watched everything happening and felt her mind going. With so much going on she could not use any of her power because she did not want to run into anyone else. Kalt could not expend any of the energy running through her veins and the amount of it was over whelming when combined with her lack of sleep. Flashes of memory of times when her mind had left swirled through her brain. Kalt used the last bit of her sanity to worm hole herself away but with out specifing a destination.

With a nod from Orion, Mike reached out and siezed the van in a telekinetic hold, hurling it toward the back of the nearest sentinel. As he slumped forward in exhaustion, the van knocked the Sentinel forward into its remaining comerade. As soon as they were touching, Orion reached out and fired a bolt of pure chaos at the van.

THe explosion was spectacular. The gas tank ignited, amplified through Orion's powers, setting both of the Sentinels into an inferno. The X-Men and students rushed away, narrowly avoiding the falling Sentinel parts and flaming debris. As they stood on the front steps to the mansion, the scene was eerily silent, as the flames smoldered in the ruins of the giant robots.

Then, quietly, they filtered back inside, many still in shock. Those who were hurt were taken up to the infirmary, and the rest went to try to make sense of the insane events of the night...
