The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

DragonKing tried to soothe the pacing girls nerves. “It will be fine.”
Inwardly he nodded at her sign of loyalty. He respected it, but he this aspect of him had mellowed since being in contact with western society. After she finished filling out the forms and the “higher up” had left (occ sorry for that if you want me to mod my post more than happy to)
“That was not so bad was it?” He patted her affectionately on the shoulder. “So wanna train?” (OCC wanna start a continued thread in the Training room?)
As they were heading to the training room, Dk started talking again. “I have heard something about you so only fair that you hear about me.” He paused for a minute and then continued as he though of how best to put things.
“Simply put, I am the result of a genetic experiment to enhance the effect of my x-gene. I was intended to be used as a human weapon, I was trained in all manner of skills. I was designed as a one man army, capable of taking out a large number of people in a small amout of time and take minimum damage. I was part of a group of 7. Then an American agent came and sabotaged the lab. The resulting explosion killed my six brothers and almost killed me.” Dk had that slight faraway look in his eyes.
“For many years I was lead to believe that it was somehow my fault. But not too long ago I discovered the truth, the truth that has set me free after many years. So now I am the hunter. They created a deadly weapon, now they must suffer the consequences.”
He trailed off, and he calmed himself down. His breathing slowed down to normal speed and he relaxed again. “Sorry about that. Anyhow what do you want to train?” he asked as he opened the door for her to the training room.
Isabel gave a nod at the confirmation that the forms would be obtained and filled out at the first possible chance. "You can get those forms from Lisa. She's the woman at the front desk in the Foyer. You can't miss her," she replied, still smiling easily at the young girl. However, that smile faded a bit as one eyebrow rose, giving her a bit of a surprised expression as the Order's potential new member dropped to her knees in some kind of outward showing of her respect toward Isabel's position. Now that was a reaction she'd never gotten before. At least, not without having injured someone enough to make them drop in such a way. Still regarding the young woman curiously, Isabel listened to all she had to say, gradually righting her position as she stopped leaning against the frame of the door and took a few more steps into the room in order to place herself closer to the one who revealed herself to go by the alias of Aura.
Slowly a grin crept back across her features the longer Aura talked, chuckling lightly at the possible gruesome addition she could add to the Sanctuary's property. "Sounds to me like you and Syn have similar tastes in decor, though I hardly think a waterfall will be necessary at the moment," she replied, signaling for Aura to get back to her feet. While the show of respect was appreciated, it still seemed somehow out of place to the ribboned mutant, much preferring to talk to the girl when she was standing. "Well, from that lovely little speech you've just given, it seems as if you've got all the essential things we ask for before adding someone to our ranks. Obedience, confidence, devotion, respect. I like you attitude, Aura. You and I are quite similar in some aspects you've mentioned," she continued, pleased with how simple and quickly this particular interview was going. This young girl had covered all the basics she would have asked for anyhow, and she looked to be quite sincere about all of it. "I'd say you're well on your way to joining our lovely group. Of course, Syn is in charge of officially inducting members, so I'll have to relay everything to her before anything is set in stone. But, from what I've heard, I don't think you'll run into too many roadblocks. You'll know soon enough if and when you're considered an official member," she said, taking a step back and turning to leave the two to their own activities while she would go seek out Syn. "Welcome to the Sanctuary, Aura. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here."
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
Her sign of respect had been ingrained in her as it had been in all the kids under Miracles command. It had been needed or so she had been told, to ensure survival. Soldiers who obeyed orders without question were the most effective, well defined command cut time down between order and execution and so helped to make operations run smoother. She would get the needed forms of course, such paper work made sense to her as it helped to more.
Her offer of the fountain was declined which was good in a way, she lacked the Knowledge of how to make such a thing, though she could not imagine it being very difficult. "I await Syn's word then" She said after she listened to Isabels reply. She was sure she had done well on the interview. She only wished her friends had lived to see this day. She knew they would be by her side in this, each of them had learned to fear and hate humans as time went on, despite Miracles claim humans were just as viable species as any other. Their was little more to say as the Woman walked off, she had noticed a few things of interest, Isabel was older then her, but still young, she wondered just how old Syn was and was quite excited about the concept of eventually meeting the mystery woman.
With that she walked over to Lisa's desk and quickly filled out the forms, her hand writing was on the lousy side, mostly because she had done so little of it, she had not even been to school since she was thirteen. Not that she had ever liked school or with the constant suspensions had ever been thare for a long stretch. She was not an angry girl, just one who enjoyed casual combat and later one who enjoyed casual murder as well.
