These black marks are tattoos made from a special secret ink recipe that reacted with his mutation. The swirling energies of his body interact with the tattoos to make thim writhe and dance all over his skin, although they are more agitated when he makes use of his mutation. Character
Personality: Psycho is almost the stereotypical juvenile delenquent. He has a disdain for society and the limits of it, and so rebels violently. He tends to drown his problems in metal and booze, and both of those end up getting him in trouble. He maintains a hard exterior to deter those who would try to befriend him, and when that doesn't work he generally ignores them. He has no friends, and wouldn't know what to do with one if he found it. Hobbies/ Interests: He loves listening to hard metal, and you can often find him with earbuds, uncaring about the world around him. Job or part time job and description: N/A Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Psycho has very little fears. The only noticable thing is his trepedation concerning women. Women just always seem to make him nervous, so he tries as hard as possible to remain distant. Even more distant than he usually is. Special talents: Psycho can paint with acrylics fairly well, and is moderately good at gymnastics.
Morality
Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Nuetral; Psycho is not evil, he is neutral. However, his actions more often than not are rebellious, falling into the bad side of the spectrum. Depending on his environment and other influencing factors, Psycho could fall either way.
Mutations
Mutation description: Psycho is a very strong telepath. A telepath is one who can read the minds of others. Psycho can, with a little bit of concentration, completely hear an untrained person's surface thoughts. When he is not concentrating on hearing a particular person's thoughts, Psycho hears snippets of every unprotected person's thoughts, all at once. Psycho can also, once he has penetrated someone's mind, use his powers to talk to them mind-to-mind. He can use this to communicate over long distances, or just for screwing around with people. Strengths: The ability to know what a person is thinking would give Psycho an advantage in any diplomatic actions, or in a fight, as he could know what the person was thinking and how to counter or avoid the next move. Also, being able to talk to people inside their heads is useful because he can communticate over long distances silently, and he can, over a long period of mental conversation, often drive someone insane. Weaknesses: When Psycho is not concentrating on a particular person's thoughts, he hears bits and pieces of every thought around him. This is very overwhelming, and he has an almost continual migrane. Also, some people have the training or instinct to recognize and defend against mental intrusions. Such mental battles leave Psycho very weak, and he often loses. Sometimes Psycho's surface thoughts are projected into a person's mind when he is talking to them mind-to-mind, letting them read his mind for a little while.
Secondary mutation description: Psycho is also an accomplished telekinetic. A telekinetic is a person who uses psychic energy to move things with their thoughts. At this moment in time, Psycho can lift and move about 50 lbs easily, 70 lbs with some strain, and 100 lbs with much strain, within a 25-30 ft. radius (depending on his concentration.) Strengths: This allows Psycho to stop people who are attacking him, move objects he can't reach or lift, and it scares the hell out of most everyone. He can also use it to fling light objects very fast, and these can wound his opponents. Weaknesses: If Psycho tries to lift more than 100 lbs, he risks fainting, going into a coma, or even dying. Also, his control is not very good, so he cannot do anything delicate with his telekinesis.
Fighting Style
Explanation: Psycho mainly uses his powers to fight, but when that is not possible for whatever reason (or he just feels like it) Psycho has about ten to twelves knives always on him in hidden spots. He is very skilled with these knives, although he never learned to throw them. Pros for fighting style: Using knives ensures that anyone fighting him hand-to-hand is at a distinct advantage, and knives are much easier to hide than, say, baseball bats, guns, or other such weapons. Cons for fighting style: The fact that knives are very sharp means that it is hard to truly fight someone without inflicting some sort of serious wound. If Psycho needs to incapacitate someone without any lasting damage, he's out of luck. Also, knives have a shorter reach than many weapons, and against a gun he's just screwed.

History Of Your Character: Psycho was born in a small local hospital in one of the many small cities dotting the regions around the U.S. border. The city he was born in was notorious for it's drug and illegal immigrant trafficing, and he got indoctrinated into the gang of a drug lord at age seven, serving as a transporter of the drugs to the drop site near the border. He worked for the drug lord for three years, until he and his new partner were caught in a stakeout by U.S.. border patrol as they were crossing the border near Tuscon, Arizona. The border patrol took them to Tuscon, where they were scheduled for a stint in juvie. After serving three weeks of his eighteen month sentance, Psycho escaped from juvie during a bathroom break, and began living on the streets. He was approached the next day by a group of drunks from the Mexican Mafia. They were looking for some sport, and figured that beating a little kid to death sounded like fun. They formed a circle, and started kicking at him. Then one of them had the bright idea of taking the kid into the gang. However, two of the three didn't want to share the loyalty of their new member, and a fight started. When the whole thing wound down, three had been killed. The two who survived later said it was like an outside source was reading the minds of the other three, and telling them mentally where they were going to strike. So were his powers revealed. Six years later, Psycho was a luteinent in the Mexican Mafia, having used a combination of driving the competition insane and subtle displays of telekinesis to gain power. It was because of that same combination that his nickname was coined. All the telepathy in the world, however, wasn't strong enough to penetrate the strong mental barriers of the SWAT team waiting in ambush for a drug run. He was still a minor at the time, by a year and three days, so he was given a choice. The first choice was high-security juvie until eighteen, then jail for four years, and paroll for three. The second choice was to go to the sister school of Xavier's Mansion. This was given as an option because Psycho had tried to read the mind of the judge at his trial. The judge was a mild telepath himself, and after he won the mental conflict that ensued, he figured out that Psycho was a mutant as well. While he was waiting to leave, the Mutant Registration Act occured, and he was put into prison. The real thing, the slammer. When it passed, things went on as planned, but many of the inmates had to be transferred to insane aslyums. It was rather dull in jail...
Roleplay Where did you learn about this site?: I was looking around on google for some Avatar rp sites, and one of them had your banner up, so I checked it out, and liked what I saw. Do you have any other existing characters, if so who: Nada Sample RP: "Come, William, you wouldn't want to be late getting to the mansion, now would you?" Mr. Gregory, or Gregorgy, as Psycho called him, was sitting in the back seat of the police cruiser with Psycho. They were riding to the sister school of the X-Mansion, and Psycho was none-too-thrilled. "Actually, Gregorgy, yes I would. Why don't we take a stop at Starubucks, or something. I'm thirsty. And it's Psycho. P-S-Y-K-O. Learn it." Psycho was looking out the windowsill, wishing he had his Mp3 player so he could drown out the drone of his social worker with some heavy metal. Even Mr. Gregory's mind was boring. I hope this kid can turn around. Otherwise, I don't know what I can do for him. My first kid and I get me a convict, geez... Why does he smell so bad? I told him to take a shower... This officer is driving fast, wonder if he's following the speed limit? Boooring. "It's spelled P-S-Y-C-H-O, William, and I'm going to call you by your given name." Psycho sighed and looked out the window. He would say some disturbing thoughts (mentally) to Mr. Gregory and watch him sweat for a while, just to pass the time, but he had already done it three times, and any more would just be redundant. "Whatever." Mr. Gregory sighed, and said "How about this, William. If I give you your Mp3 player back, will you call yourself by your given name?" Psycho sat up quickly, and nodded. Mr. Gregory pulled it out of his pocket and handed it to Psycho, who promptly plugged in and pounded away...
