Everyday clothing style: Her styles changes from day to day, as her wardrobe is endless. Her favorite piece of clothing however, is her pair of black Skinny Jeans and a nice Sky blue tank top with the word "Dolphin" writen across the chest in fake Diamonds. She also has a thing for dark hoodies.

Character

Personality: Leila Mariella's personality is pretty far out. She's very out-going and selfish, but she tends to pretend to be the shy, nice and cheerful girl for her own reasons. She grew up traveling the world with her Rich Scientist of a father, so she's very smart and, well, rich. She can speak so many Languages, including English, French, and quite surprisingly, Fish. She tends to get everything she wants everytime, so she doesn't respond well when someone refuses to do something for her, from a small favor like putting her glass in the sink, to being forced to betray a long time friend. Plus, she's as stubborn as her father and as determined as her mother. Once she starts something, she'll stick through it until the very end, even if it puts her life in danger. She'll also risk her life for close friends, evil or not. You can also say she can get obsessive over things like men or fashion. A newly aquired trait, is that Leila's an evil little girl who wants power and glory over Humans. She also wants revenge over her Father for sending out that man to Mutate her.

Job or part time job and description: Leila's in her Final Year of school to become a Marine Biologist, and she works at an Aquarium in New York. (Previously a Waitress at a Café.)

Mutation

Mutation Discription: Leila has begun to feel a change in her Dolphin Transformation. Over the first few Months at the Mansion, her Powers have begun to get stronger, two lumps growing on each side of her Dolphin tail and two others just in front of her fins. She didn't mind much, thinking nothing could be so wrong, until those lumps soon became long, muscular arms and legs. Now she could walk on land, but not only that, she could also breath and speak, when in her Dolphin state. In March of 2009, she looked a lot more Human then Dolphin. Her greyish blue skin, long dolphin nose and fins are probably the only physical things that left her diffrent from any Human. Not to mention her tail.
Strenghs: Leila's Dolphin skin is leathery hard and slightly thicker then Human skin. It's tough, though not tough enough to keep her safe from bullets and sharp stabs. Sure, she'd keep fighting longer until really needing medical attention, but that's it. Her long legs are also helpful for running, though her tail prevents that, unfortunately. Her tail is the strongest of her odd features. It's really tough, having strong muscles and thicker skin then the rest of her body. It would take at least 10 Gun Shots (Large Guns) to actually affect it, and it could hurt you by a simple hit.
Weaknesses: Leila's Transformation from WereDolphin to Human takes a lot more strengh and energy then her Human to WereDolphin Transformation. When, after a battle, she Transforms again, it's hard for her to do much more then sleep. It takes 12 hours of rest for her energy to be at it's fullest, and until then, it's best if she doesn't Shift. An other weakness would be that it takes her exactly 1½ minutes for her to shift and it can be a little painful. It would take a few minutes before the pain stops fully afterwards, a little longer when at her Human form, as she's less tough. So basically, after getting the hang of her WereDolphin State, she'll nearly never change forms, always staying a WereDolphin.
Secondary Mutation Discription: Leila's hearing is slightly enhanced when on land. She could hear a whispered conversation easily, or even footsteps coming her way. When WereDolphin, on top of water, she can hear slightly better, but not like when underwater, like every Dolphin, she can hear a whole lot better. Her Hearing can go as far as a 2 Miles Radius. An other, yet slightly expected Power, is that she can converse with Fish; at will when in her WereDolphin form, and off and on when in her Human Form. She has no control when she can hear and speak to them, but when she does, it's for small periods of time. So basically, it's better when she shifts.
Strenghs: Leila's very good with her hearing, as she gets in a lot of pratice everyday. Her Fish talking abilities get frustrating when she has long amounts of times without being able to talk to any, but when she's concentrating very hard (Which gives her head aches) and is near enough to touch the fish, she can get a few words at will.
Weaknesses: Leila gets very big headaches when she concentrates on hearing further then she's capable of.. Though, that's what she'll need to do to improve, she gets tired easily after doing it for a long amount of time. Her Fish Talk is uncontrollable when she's Human, meaning she could have weeks without being able to speak to fish, that gets a little frustrating, but she can speak to them at will and a lot more clearly when she's a WereDolphin.

Fighting Style

Explanation: Ever since her Upgrade in Mutation, Leila has aquired some new moves and a new Weapon: a long, axe-like sword that can slash through just about anything. She has good speed and balance, though her tail tends to get in the way when in her WereDolphin Form. She never fights when in her Human Form unless she's forced too.
Pros for fighting style: She has a big Advantage with her Weapon, and could easily take down Humans with only one slash. Her slightly above-average strengh in the tail is also good, if she wants to knock anyone to the ground without them really expecting it.
Cons for fighting style: SHe trips on her Dolphin tail a lot, and sometimes she's in pain after Transforming. (She usually is, though sometimes more then others)

History Of Your Character:

It all started on December 2nd, in a Toronto Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Harte gave birth to a wonderful girl they named Leila Mariella. Growing up, Leila traveled everywhere, learning diffrent languages and cultures. As her father was a famous Scientist/Author, she was home schooled and knew more things then the Average High School student when she was only about eleven. As the years past by, she found herself attracted to the beauty of cities, and started drawing scenes around the age of Thirteen. Nowadays, she can draw anything and actually make it look as if it's a photograph. Basketball has always been something Leila loved doing, learning the basics as a young child, and actually getting a chance to play with a National French Woman's team. (Just because her father knew the Manager) So, she had a perfect life until her fifteenth birthday, when things changed dramatically for the young blonde.

On her 15th birthday, Leila was in Paris with her mother while Mr. Harte gave an other one of his lectures. As Leila was walking near the Eiffel Tower, she got attacked by some masked figures. She woke up a few days later, with serious injuries everywhere and her mother dead. She could scence something diffrent about herself too, only to realize that she had Super Fish Abilities. Deciding to try and escape the men, which Lei knew as her father's faithful Partner Mr. Warthmal and a few Allies, she changed for the first time into a Dolphin, and swam out through an Under ground Suage pipe. That was the only time she was able to transform at will, ever since, it had to be Salt Water.

Ever since, Lei has been hiding from her troubles and trying to seem as normal as possible, pretending her Abnormality didn't exist. Writing and Singing also came after her mother's death. Her father still didn't know about her secret, and she wanted to keep it that way, so she worte a series of stories about a young Mermaid trying to find her way through life without anyone finding out about her abnormality. When she turned nineteen, she moved to Ottawa where her Cousin Austin lived, to start University, making her Major as a Marine Biologist, yet, studying English Litterature. In September of 2008, Leila moved to New York to finish off her last year of School there. Plus, she got hired as a part time Waitress and rented a small Apartement. Her life seems to go well now, until she met Sam Johnson.

yaaay another Canadian! My characters Raina and Naveed are Canadian, and Raina being an icechanter/mermaid would totalllllly love to meet a dolphin shifter! She’s pretty much a Savage Animal by now, only wanting to kill and have what she doesn’t have.

History Of Your Character:

After the Haywire was released, Leila spent the first year in New York, helping out with fighting the X-Men and keeping the Order from destruction. This however, got slightly boring, and she decided to get herself something new to do, and in December 2010, Leila left for Australia, where she would be a lot of help with fighting the remaining Mutants trying to re-gain their population.

By then, she had already inherited her deceased father’s money, so she had no job and she drank a lot; she got pregnant with an unknown man, but lost the baby just a month after she found out, when she got a blow at the stomach during a fight with an Officer. She was in Jail in April 2011 for Murders she had committed over the 4 months she’d spent in Australia, but escaped in August, killing the entire gang of Police Officers who tried stopping her.

From then on, she spent her life on the run, living for a while in most parts of the world. It wasn’t until 2014 that she decided to come back to the States, but not New York. She moved to Florida, where she could enjoy the Ocean. That was when she found out that everyone tended to leave her alone when she was shifted, so she spent about six months in her WereDolphin state, never changing.

She was a maniac now, killing and torturing, gaining power for her team, but also for herself. She returned to the Sanctuary in 2019, a few weeks after the New Year. She seemed a bit better, she was sober again and actually conversed with people once in a while... But she was still gloomy, after 10 years, she had still not gotten over her feelings for a certain X-Men; plus, the way her life was now didn't help her moods either.
