The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The year is 2016 and Streak was living in the mansion. He was now a full X-Men, no longer a trainee and he hadn't been for quite some time. While spending his time there he had seen many new students come and go, join the xmen and leave the xmen. He had seen many mutants turn from good to evil and even some of his friends start out good and join other groups that were thriving in New York. The mansion had grown in size, the xmen's quest for mutant and human equality not achieving much in the years. He had been in many battles where it was mutant on mutant and mutant on human. Many didn't understand or didn't want to understand that there was no difference between humans and mutants. He had been in many battles that thwart the Order and the Kabal from achieving mutant domination. That wasn't the case. It hadn't been the case for months, weeks, days, today even. Life, it seemed for Streak, had turned into pretty dull existence. He felt like he was in a rut and couldn't get out.
He woke up, not unlike many of the days and months past. Since he wasn't a teacher and he didn't want to be one he had no real reason for staying other than to provide protection for the students from mutants and humans. His days were quite often the same. For a different reason today, Streak sought to change that.
It was a crisp December day. Getting close to the beginning of winter. It was such a fun time for Streak. He always enjoyed the snow. Especially now because he could spend all day in it and not be cold. He took a deep breath and feeling the cool air flow through his nostrils and fill his lungs. The man of silver looked out his window, which he had come accustom to having open lately, and saw that there was a fresh snow fall on the mansion grounds. He climbed out of bed and walked over to the window. It was mid morning and there were already some students playing out in the snow. He smiled. Something he only did rarely now when he was told there was a mission. He looked forward to the adventure.
Streak moved away from the window and went to his closet pulling on some clothes. He still wore pants every so often to keep himself dry in the snow and to prevent scratches to his legs. He pulled on a t-shirt that he had recently bought and decided that he sould get some breakfast.
As he was walking down the hall, something caught his eye. It was an atlas lying on the floor. He walked over and picked it up. He flipped through it as he continued walking down the hallway. It wasn't a normal atlas of city streets, state roads and so on. It was an atlas of the world. It showed destinations. Roads of the world not just the U.S.; but places like London, Paris, Dublin, roads through Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Egypt. It was enormous. He was amazed there was something so big with so much information.
Once he reached the kitchen he set the book down and looked through the kitchen to see what he was interested in eating. After cooking up a batch of eggs and toast he sat down and started to delve into the depths of the atlas. He wasn't sure why but that book in particular seemed to grab his attention more than anything else had in a long time.

Streak could hardly tear himself away from the book. He looked up from the atlas and his breakfast to see if there was anyone in the room. He had been so mesmerized by the atlas that he hadn't bothered to see if there were even other people in the room. There weren't so he didn't feel so bad about wandering around like he was in a trance the whole time. Streak had finished his breakfast in silence. He continued to sit at the table for a couple of minutes after finishing his food thinking. Once he was done he cleaned up his dishes in silence.
His mind was swimming with possibilities. He knew that what he did today would change his life forever. He was looking for adventure. Something he hadn't hadn't a long time. He carried the atlas with him as he made his way out of the kitchen and into the living room. Streak took a seat next to the window. It was a nice day out. The sun was shining, students were having snowball fights, making snow men, snow angels, and other things that Streak couldn't tell what they were going to be yet since some students had just started making them. He cracked open the window he was sitting next to so that he could hear them and make sure they weren't getting hurt.
It was interesting to watch the students playing in the snow. There were always some students there dressed like him. Some were dressed like it was summer, while others were dressed appropriately. There seemed to be a little commotion going on where they were having a snowball fight. He smiled and watched the kids play. Some of their voices floated to him above everything else. "Hey! No powers man that's cheating." Streak looked out across the mansion grounds and saw the fight going on. From his vantage point it looked like a pyromancer was using his powers to stop any snowballs from hitting him by melting them. "Okay. Fine. But you can't use your ice powers wither." So it was an icemancer versus a pyromancer. That's cool.
He was in a good mood today. It felt like the older days back when he used to do that with many of the mansion students around his age. Many of them, it seemed, had moved on after getting control over their powers. This thought made him sad so he decided to start flipping through the atlas again and see what country, or state, caught his attention. He continued to flip through the pages idly as he listened to the students outside playing in the snow. He decided he wasn't going to figure anything out by sitting inside on what seemed like such a perfect winter day. Once more the man of silver closed the atals and walked this time walked outside.
He found the tree that he normally sat under during the other seasons of the year. The ground under the tall tree was covered in snow just like the rest of the grounds. Streak, for a third time that morning, started flipping through the atlas. He looked up through the tree to where the sun was and saw the tree was covered in ice. That made a very interesting look of many prisms all hanging off a the tree like it was a Christmas tree and they were the ornaments.

His clothes started getting wet so he covered himself in silver and continued to flip through the book. Suddenly the cold and wet feeling disappeared and was replaced with the soft feeling that he was sitting on very soft white carpet or a seat that was trying to swallow him up. He only got this feeling because the snow was all around him. Suddenly an idea popped into his head like an apple had fallen out of the tree and hit him in the head. Streak looked at the atlas with new found wonder and amazement.
That's it!" He said a little louder than he had meant. He looked around to see if anyone had heard him; however all the students were busy playing in the snow to notice his appearance or his sudden loud noise. Now talking much softer as if he was sharing a secret with a person sitting next to him he said, "I can tour the world." A wicked, some might say crazy, smile contorted his silver face. He was excited and even though he was covered in silver he was showing the excitement very clearly on his face. The sun lit up his face and made him look even more deranged than he was.
In truth he was feeling very excited at the prospect of seeing how the world had fared after the Haywire virus had subsided to just a common flu type virus. Streak had always had this thought in the back of his mind, however, the perfect placement of the atlas this morning pulled the idea to the front of his mind. "I can start here." He started talking to himself. The silver man flipped to the pages giving an overall appearance of the the United States. His silver fingers traced a few highways that were on the map as he continued to talk to himself "I can start here in New York and head north up to Maine. The I can head south along the East coast and finally head to the Midwest, through the south and end up in the West coast. I can travel through parts of Canada and Mexico through out the entire trip."
The plan came to him, formed fully into his head. Streak didn't need to give it a second thought. He was going to see everything that was going on in the world. The thought of meeting mutants fro a different culture or even seeing mutant that he knew, but had left, again seemed to energize him more. He knew where a few of them disappeared but he thought maybe he'd find more the more he traveled.
He quickly got up and started flying to his room. That was another reason he kept the window open. He didn't really need the window seeing as Streak flew straight past the window and thought the brick next to it. He soon started packing to go on the trip. As far as he knew there was nothing upcoming that would prevent him from taking this little trip. Besides. He thought as he pulled out his suit case out of his closet, threw it up onto his bed and started to pull clothes out. I remember seeing other people taking little vacations every once in a while. Streak would have time to plan to the trip later after he had finished packing.

It was getting late in the day. Streak had been busy in his room packing for the trip that, what seemed like only minutes ago but was actually hours, had so spontaneously popped into his head. He had been so preoccupied with packing that he had almost forgotten to eat lunch. He quickly ran to the kitchen and through the walls, and floors, to get to the kitchen. Streak grabbed something to eat and again disappeared into his room with his food to continue eating.
He finally was finished packing. The man of silver looked out the window and saw that it was dark. Once again, just like in the morning he took the book with him to the dining hall to have some dinner. Again he was completely immersed in the atlas. This time Streak decided that it was time to plan out his trip. He already knew how he would start but where he would go after covering America. He decided that after he finished America he would to up through Canada. Then he would fly south to Mexico, Central America, South America, and Antarctica. The thought of going to Antarctica and meeting some of his past fellow friends made him even more anxious to start his trip.
After thinking for a while he decided that there was no need for Streak to take any clothing with him. He would be flying the entire way and would just pick up some clothes around the world to fit in. He left his suitcase packed but took it off his bed and placed it on the floor. After visiting this part of the hemisphere he decided that he would spend some time in Antarctica. Once he left there Streak decided he would fly up to Europe and move from north to south and east to west.
He flipped through the atlas for what seemed like the millionth time today."Let's see. After Europe I can through Africa and towards parts of Southern Asia and over to Australia." He said to himself back in his room. Streak was thumbing through the pages and traced his route. "After visiting Australia I can head back up through Asia..." He flipped back to the pages that covered parts of Asia and continued talking to himself. "Once I've seen the world, I can take my time getting back to America. Unless I hear of something happening with the xmen and they need my help." He looked around the room for his xmen communicator. The silver man decided that he was going to carry that with him where ever he was in the world and could return as fast as was possible for him to help out. Streak found the communicator sitting on his desk picked it up and put it in his ear. He decided that he was going to leave his uniform here he had made for the xmen. Now that he'd planned is trip Streak was ready to go. All he needed was to get some rest. He would leave soon, within the next day or so Streak decided.

Streak woke up the next day feeling very refreshed. It was the first time he'd felt refreshed and energized in the morning. He picked up the earpiece from his nightstand and put it back in his ear. He was just about ready to leave. Streak once again left his room and closed it for what he thought would be the last time in quite some time. He needed to get away from the memories, the trouble, and the past. Ever since that fateful night with Emma, which as it turned out was ten years ago to the date, and many other painful nights had started his downward slide into his current condition of degradation, boredom and all around unhappiness. Emma had broken his heart and he never seemed to get past it and have a relationship of the same caliber that he had with her. Once she disappeared from his life he always seemed to have a hard time getting past what she had done to him.
He wanted, no needed, to leave all of the memories of her, all of his friends, and what has been his home for so long behind to start a new chapter in his life. Streak knew that no one would object to his leaving, since over the years he had become somewhat withdrawn from other people in the mansion. He was still friends with the people that remained in the mansion but he always felt distant and a little out of the group. But that didn't matter now. None of it mattered now. He was going to start a new chapter in his life and, little did Streak now, it was going to become one of the most important times of his life.
The man of silver quickly ate his breakfast, cleaned his dishes and left to make sure there was no question in his mind of what he was going to be doing or where he was going on his trip. He saw a few of the newer students in the hall and gave a small wave to them and said, "Hello" or the occasional "Hey." Again there wasn't much of a conversation with any of them. None of the students knew much about Streak except perhaps the fact that he was a member of the Xmen. The earpiece sat perfectly on his ear. It was another that Streak had personally made for the xmen because the one he was given never sat right on or in his ear. Once back in his room he went over the plan for a final time. Finally Streak was satisfied with his plan and decided that if he forgot any part of his plan he could always make things up as he went along.
Since Streak had spent many days over the past few years in the Danger Room he had perfected his flying and many other parts of his powers. He walked straight through the wall and flew out his room. He began heading away from the mansion and with it he felt freer and less bound by the painful memories of his past. Though he still bore the scars from the camps, which happened so long ago, he was able to forget some of the memories that had been caused there at the camps. Streak was on his way to starting a new life and he was happy about it.
