The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Shade chuckled slightly at Vibe's comment. Well, my blades didn't even scratch those mechanic beasts.He thought to himself, replaying the fight in his head. It really hadn't been much of a fight though. Just the Stalker literally manhandling him.

"Yeah, you guessed right. I was the distraction, and well...my distraction didn't turn out so well for me."

Shade placed a hand inside his hood as he wiggled a finger inside his ear. They had suddenly started to ring. Hearing the shaking of the glass, Shade casted an unseen glance at the cup before turning back to Vibe.

"You hear that?"

"Yeah, you guessed right. I was the distraction, and well...my distraction didn't turn out so well for me."

"At least you're still alive." Vibe shrugged. A bit of her previous annoyance had ebbed, replaced by worry for her sister. Nearly three months had passed since their separation. Was she okay?

"You hear that?"

"Hear what?" She looked up, and heard the glass shaking. "Oh, sorry," she commented passively and waved her hand. The vibrating and ringing ceased for a brief moment, before starting up again. "Guess I was distracted. Ugh..... I need to go to the gym....."

A frustrated grunt left her throat. The energy drink had started to kick in. Mixed with her frustration, she suddenly felt jittery. She headed toward the door. 'Working out' definitely wasn't her style, but a long swim was.
