The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Eric crawled through the manhole squinting in the sunlight. "you'd think with the money that I have stolen I'd go and buy sunglasses" He said. he began to walk down the ally thinking of places what would make a good hideout. "there are so many abandoned buildings, and old houses that we could end up anywhere."
James walked ahead of Eric not by much but by enough so that any body who saw them wouldn't know that they were together. He surveyed the buildings looking in windows to see if they could use it to their advantage. He stopped dead in his tracks as he found an old ware house it had small windows and looked as if the walls were steel reinforced concrete. Motioning for Eric to follow him inside the double doors, James then looked as though he had just struck the jackpot. The inside was perfect it had a large upper deck area that would be perfect for bedrooms. The ground level was large enough to store 3 vehicles and still have room to work on the comfortably. James then ran to find the door to the basement, it was amazingly huge and perfect for a training area. James found Eric and told him about the basement. "We can put in a target range, like you would need it, but I would use it to practice my accuracy." he said laughing.

Eric looked around in amazment. 'how did I never find this place?" he thought. Before Eric left the old hideout he remembered to grab the dufflebag of money he had from his last robbery. "Here kid I've got the money, and you've got the car...lets go get it, and do a little shopping for some security cameras, and some other things.....I'm not getting kicked out of a home again." Eric was impressed by how smart James was and that he found this place so quickly. Eric would have been too deep in thought to notice it.
After spending the most of 3 days 'buying' securiy cameras and a decent laser grid system, then they put all of it up. Their new home was as well fortified as the could make it. The upper floor was transformed into 5 bedroom type areas and a bathroom. James lay on his new bed drawing up floor plans for the basement/training area. He would show them to Eric later, when he found him again. Eric had been gone for the better part of 2 days, he had helped James put up the laser grid and a few cameras. James had gone and made a detailed map of the police station and the impound lot. He was going to get his car back tonight with or without Eric.

Eric walked into their new home with a smile on this face. He couldn't have been happier with what they had acomplished. Eric walked up stairs to tell James where he had been for the last 2 days. "James.....I've been trying to find people to train with us to start team. The two of us are pretty well off on our own, but think about if we filled up the rest of the bedrooms...this place could become more than it already is". Then Eric noticed the map of the police station and the impound lot laying next to James. He knew what was on his mind, and he was ready to do all he could to help.
James noticed that Eric was staring at the maps. "I'm going tonight, but if you don't want to come then I'm still going. I can understand since you haven't gotten all on of your weapons here yet." James said as he started to trace the route he had planned on using to get inside of the fence. He then headed to his dresser and pulled out his black leather suit and small mask. Putting the suit on as he walked to the door.

"thats a dumb thing to say....I am going with you....this should be fun." Eric had a smirk on his face and that feeling of excitment was swelling inside of him. "so when do I get a mask, and costume?" he said jokingly. Eric ran downstairs and changed into his clothes; grabbing his trench coat, sword, and new pair of $300 sunglasses. Then he stopped, turned around and walked back over to the table in the corner. Laughing; he put a pair of ear plugs in his pocket just in case things got noisy. Eric ran back up stairs to James saying "this is all I really need...my sword, but when you have a knack for firing a gun why not use that to your advantage. Plus I'm just lazy."
James headed out the door, with his costume on, it helped him blend into the shadows now that he had black hair instead of the bleach blonde. He stood next to the door and started to psych himself up for their mission to get his most beloved thing back, his 1968 GTO. James started to punch the wall and then all of a sudden he just ran up the wall flipping back the ground after a couple steps. "Hey man are you ready to go." James said as he started to stretch his legs and arms.

Eric stared at James wide eyed, and amazed. "Yeah sure....I'm ready...." Eric swung his sword around, and then made sure his boots were tight enough. He felt he was a little calmer than James seemed to be, but he had done stuff like this many time, it was becoming the same old thing, but that didn't bother Eric. It was something to pass the time away, and he still found it fairly fun.
Jaya had been watching the progress in the ware house for the past three days. Ever since she had woken to see the two men coming out of the sewer. The place had been abandoned, but these two seemed to make it come to life. She had watched from the adjacent rooftops as they put up cameras and other security items. But for the past three days not much had happened. She had been asleep again when she heard noises. She peered over the edge of the rooftop. They were down there. One of them was barely visible, wearing mostly black, and the other one looked rather imposing: trench coat sweeping out behind him, sword in hand. Jaya's curiosity was overwhelming. As they moved out she followed them slowly, watching their progress from various rooftops. She ran quietly above them, keeping stride, her only fear was that they would hear her when she wasn't running: when she was watching them and couldn't sit still, tapping her fingers, tapping, tapping, but she couldn't just let them go, she wanted to see what was going on.

Eric parked the van inside the warehouse he was feeling very alive at that moment. Then he heard it....a small tapping up above him that no one else would ever dream of hearing. He kicked in his infrared vision and looked above him. He could see a figure of a person hunched down trying to hide. If it wasn't for his eyes he would have never saw her. Eric put his hand on the hilt of his sword and drew it out just a little....it made no sound at all. He whispered to James "I think we have some company tonight....lets properly greet them."
James pulled his car in behind Eric in the van, then watched him as he got out and stared at the cealing. James just waited, he knew that if he made too much noise Eric would lose concentration. As Eric started to draw his katana silently, James walked slowly up nest to him. "Okay, how many are there?" James asked in anticipation.
She watched them pull up their new vehicles, watched them get out, watched the man in the trench coat pull out his sword. Did they see me? she wondered. The other man had glanced up, they saw her, she was sure of hit. This could be bad, these guys were dangerous. She had watched what they'd done, and they were dangerous, stealthy, violent, not good to get in trouble with. She pulled back from the edge of the roof, slipping down to find the fire-escape. She began to climb down as quietly as she could. Please don't here me, please don't here me! she thought. Her breathing was getting heavy, she was panicing and she could tell. Keep calm, keep calm. She was almost to the ground, almost there...

Eric watched her going down the fire escape and slowly walked over to the other side of the building to greet their visitor. "is there something we can do for you?" he said with that dark smirk on his face that he had so often.
Jaya jumped at the voice, slipped, and ended up dangling upsidedown by her shoelace, her head even with the man's. She gulped. "Um, no, I'm fine thank you, just, uh, hanging around, you know? I mean, it's not the most normal position, but then I again, I'm not the most normal person either." She looked at the guy, his face hadn't changed. Oh crap, she thought, now I've done it. "I didn't do anything, if you're here about the man, I didn't do it, I don't usually do stuff like that."
