The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Character
Personality: Alexandra never had a well defined personality, as she changes just like the weather. One day she could be cold and uncaring like an iceberg while another she could be ill-tempered like an exploding volcano. However a few personality traits resist trough the constant change and that is her stubbornness and the strong will. Alexandra will never back down from acquiring what she wants and she will use whatever means are necessary to do so. Her trust is gained not easily and once is lost it’s quite impossible to gain it back. She’s not a person that looks to make friends, most of the time she is faithful to her own interest. From her point of view, having friends is more of a weakness rather than a strength. That, however doesn’t mean she will push away people who are trying to be. She possesses a certain skill of acting and deceiving people with easiness. She can be charming and friendly if that it’s necessary and it’s quite hard to read behind her actions. Alexandra is loyal if she is given the right incentive but… she’s not exactly obedient. [update] Although she is not yet aware of it, she suffers from dissociative identity disorder, but after the head trauma she had received in Tibet and the coma that followed these personalities had begun to make slight appearances. There are three personalities inside her mind. 1) The first is her normal self, dominant at the moments, which preserves the traits mentioned above. 2) The second is the good side of her. If this takes over, Alexandra would be nice without trying to pretend it. Optimism, kindness and the desire to help others define her and her usual dislike for humans is non-existent. 3) The third is the evil side of her. This personality is deceitful, alluring and seductive. An urge to get revenge on humans and kill them, or anyone who stands in her way as a matter of fact rules her actions if this personality takes over. Although these personalities have made slight appearances, her normal self is still dominant and her surroundings have a major saying in which one would appear. For example if she is at the Mansion, there are very slim chances for the evil personality to appear. Hobbies/ Interests: music - Alexandra enjoys almost any kind of music and, often, she is seen with her headphones on. She greatly enjoys Evanescence and usually listens to it whenever she's having a bad day drawing - perhaps she is not the most skilled person doing it but she can make some pretty good drawings if she tries. She usually draws to calm herself down dancing - being a great fan of almost any kind of music, she finds it easy to dance as well. She knows most types of dancing, including ballroom dancing or ballet. reading - although reading is mandatory because of her mutation she enjoys it very much. Whenever she takes a pause from reading chemistry, biology or physics, she greatly enjoys reading books from the international literature. She loves reading history books and mythology. Job: She works as the doc prof's assistant in the Mansion Infirmary Fears/ phobias/ concerns: : fears deep water and is a bit claustrophobic (not like storm but she begins to panic if she is kept in small and enclosed spaces for long). Her only concerns are to have enough money and not to be killed. Special talents: drawing and dancing, speaks english, spanish, french, romanian.

Mutations
Mutation Description: Circe is able to manipulate matter at a molecular level, this allowing her to control the movements of the molecules, change states of matter, affect the density and break or recreate the forces that hold molecules within a substance together.
Strengths:
This ability allows Circe to use her surroundings for both offensive and defensive powers. She affects matter in several ways:
1) Circe controls the movement of molecules of the targeted substance area, meaning that she could relocate the molecules at her will, allowing her either to move a substance from a location to another or to reshape it. The ability affects matter in all states, solid, liquid or vapors. The movements of molecules usually takes little time to accomplish, however it depends on the complexity of the affected substance and/or Circe’s physical/mental condition. Moving a substance from a location to another appears to human eye like teleportation, however, the molecules just travel at high speed toward the targeted area. The movement of molecule used on solids for either reshaping or relocation (as long as the speed is slowed down enough to make it visible) would give the affected solid substance a liquid-like appearance.
2) Circe can change the states of matter of the affected substance by controlling the movements of the molecules contained by the substance. The transformation takes little time to accomplish and changes the temperature of the substance accordingly. The substance doesn’t need to pass trough an intermediary phase in order to reach the desired state of matter.
3) Circe is able to affect the density of a substance, by either increasing or decreasing it. Increasing the density of a substance results in making the affected matter more compressed and durable. The size of the object shaped from the affected substance becomes smaller, depending on how much Circe increases its density. On the other hand, decreasing the density of a substance results in making the substance to occupy more space and to be less durable. The size changes as well, making the object shaped from the affected substance to appear bigger than it was while still having the same mass.
4) Circe is able to break and recreate the forces that hold the molecules together. She can break only an amount of these forces, breaking the substance in smaller pieces, or break all forces that hold the molecules of a substance together making it undetectable to the normal eye. Also, she can recreate these forces, therefore recreating the object shaped from the affected substance (or a part of the object, depending on her needs at the moment). For the normal eye, it would appear like the object has been created from thin air.
Weaknesses:
1) The most important weakness of her powers is the need to know the chemical composition of the substance she is manipulating, down to the smallest details. Without the knowledge of a substance’s composition, she can not affect it.
2) Before manipulating the object, Circe must have visual contact with the area she affects, at least for a brief moment. The more she is familiar with the surroundings, the best she can manipulate the matter around her. Her powers could work with a perfect description of the matter she will be trying to manipulate, including size, composition, the distance from her position, the shape, everything down to the smallest details but it is not guaranteed it will even work. If none of these is available, molecular manipulation won’t work, not even knowing the chemical composition.
3) Within her comfort zone (read bellow for the limitations) Circe is able to use her powers for 90 minutes without interruption. The following limitations affect all aspects of molecular manipulation.
4) Circe can manipulate comfortably a chemical compound that contains a maximum number of 5 different chemical elements in it. For compounds that have more than 5 elements, for every different element added, the time she can use her mutation is cut in half. For compounds with less or 5 elements, Circe can use her mutation without interruption for 90 minutes. For 6 elements, the time will be reduced to 45 minutes. For 7 elements the maximum time is 22 minutes and 30 seconds. So Circe's top limit is 15 different elements, the maximum time she could manipulate such compound being 5 seconds. Also, compounds with more than 5 elements require physical contact before being manipulated.
5) Manipulating areas larger than 9 ft drain energy more rapidly than normal. For every other 9 ft manipulated, the maximum time she can use her mutation is 45 minutes instead of the usual 90 minutes. The maximum area she can manipulate is 99 ft, an area she can manipulate for about 5 seconds.
6) Manipulating multiple chemical compounds or areas at once has the same effect as manipulating a chemical compound with more than 5 elements or an area larger than 9 ft. Manipulating 2 areas or 2 different chemical compounds will allow her to use her powers for 45 minutes instead of 90. The maximum number of areas or compounds she can manipulate at once is 11 for about 5 seconds.
7) The volume of matter Circe can manipulate comfortably is 1 cubic ft. Beyond that, the time she can use her mutation is divided in half resulting that the maximum volume she can manipulate is 11 cubic ft for about 5 seconds.
8) Pushing her powers beyond the comfort zone is very dangerous for Circe as her brain starts to be overloaded with information. Depending on how far she pushes her mutation, it can result in loosing her focus, feeling tired, nose bleeding, intense headaches, cerebral hemorrhages, irreversible brain damage, permanent coma or death. So while theoretically she could manipulate a 99ft area, that would most likely lead to her death. Recharging her 'batteries' after pushing her limits (when the effect is not death or anything irreversible) can take up to 24 hours of sleeping without interruption.
9) The matter affected by Circe’s manipulation will act according to the temperature, pressure and the substances that the matter is exposed to. This includes density manipulation and changing the states of matter.
10) Circe can not control the amount of temperature being released while she is affecting the state of matter of a substance, this being a natural result of the manipulation.
11) In the case of substances that require touching in order to be manipulated, if Circe affects their state of matter does not mean that she gets resistance to high/low temperatures. She would be affected by the temperature change in the same way as the normal human body is.
12) Very vulnerable to light based powers, while her mutation is activated. Due the fact that Circe gets the mental picture of the molecular arrangement within an area/object trough her eyes, while her mutation is activated, her eyes are more sensitive to powerful light, may it be natural (powerful sunlight, strong artificial light) or manipulated by another mutant. Having her eyes exposed to powerful light while using her mutation can lead to temporary blindness, the duration of the blindness depending on the amount of light her eyes have been exposed to. If not using her mutation, light affects her in the same way as normal human vision is affected by the amount of light in the surroundings.

History
History Of Your Character: She was born as Alexandra Kettler, in the year of 1989 as the daughter of wealthy Tiberiu Kettler and beautiful Maria Kettler. She had a beautiful and happy childhood and everything she wanted was granted to her. At her 14th birthday, her powers appeared, when she almost drowned in the pool. Her powers turned the water into vapors. Her parents accepted her with the condition of not using her powers anymore. But she broke this condition and in the greatest secret she began to practice on her own. She began to investigate and look for people like her. She found the Underground and became a member of the group, participating in missions (missions as in tormenting foolish humans). She became a rebel of some sort but her parents thought that it was just a stage in her teen years and didn’t bother. Four years later, when the mutant registration law was adopted, her parents decided that it was best for her to be registered. But her smaller sister, Ana, foolishly told her about their plan and Alexandra decided to run away. Trying to hide Underground, she found out that many of the members were caught and taken into camps, thanks to members who have broken the oat of silence. The remaining of the group decided to flee to America. She took the name Alexandra Violet Leigh, got a false passport and ID and decided to have her revenge. Unfortunately, her friends were caught before they could get to America. Now, she is looking for someone that could help her achieve her goals. [update]After arriving in America and having different ‘accidents’ with the authorities during the Registration Act, she was approached by Hunter Antonescu and asked to join the Kabal. During a mission in Tibet she was ambushed and badly hurt and fell in a deep coma. 8 months later she woke up, finding out that the Registration Act had been removed and the leadership of the Kabal had changed. Now she is recovering and continues to work for the Kabal.

Where did you learn about this site?: Almighty Google. I was looking for an X-Men RPG forum. Do you have any other existing characters, if so who: none. Sample RP:
“A DNA sequence or genetic sequence is a succession of letters representing the primary structure of a real or hypothetical DNA molecule or strand, with the capacity to carry information. The possible letters are A, C, G, and T, representing the four nucleotide subunits of a DNA strand - adenine, cytosine, guanine, thymine bases covalently linked to phospho-backbone. In the typical case, the sequences are printed abutting one another without gaps, as in the sequence AAAGTCTGAC, going from 5' to 3' from left to right. A succession of any number of nucleotides greater than four is liable to be called a sequence. With regard to its biological function, which may depend on context, a sequence may be sense or anti-sense, and either coding or noncoding. DNA sequences can also contain "junk DNA.""
She took off her reading glasses and rubbed her temples lightly. She looked outside the window of the overcrowded café and wondered how many of them were outside… How many mutants were hiding, just like she did? She sighed, then looked at the tv in the corner of the room. The news title made her shiver. “MUTANT REGISTRATION ACT WAS APPROVED” she red. She wished she could hear more of what was said about it, but, with all the noise it was impossible. Yes, she had found out a while ago what she was… From the tv. Before, she called herself just special… gifted. But the word ‘mutant’ didn’t really bother her. In fact, she liked the fact that she could do something others couldn’t. And that law, it gave her the creeps just by hearing the name. She knew that they would want to do something more than just registering and making them wear the inhibitor. She wondered what her parents would think about. She never dared to ask for their opinion, afraid of what they might say. She didn’t want to be registered. “Oh, God! What’s with this agitation?” someone said, sitting at her table. Startled, she looked at the person and breathed relieved when she recognized her friend, Julia. Her human friend. Alexandra just shrugged as an answer to the girl’s question. “So, what were you looking at?” she asked. “Saw any pretty boys around?” “No. Just watching the tv.” She answered, coldness in her voice. The girl turned around, looked briefly at the tv, then turned back. “Oh. That.” She said sounding almost disgusted. “Well, I hope they register them all. And hopefully, one day, the government will lock them away some place.” She said. Alexandra felt sick just by hearing her. What would she say if she knew that she was sharing a table with a mutant ‘that should be locked away someplace’? “Really?” she asked, trying to hide the anger she was feeling now. She would have gladly disintegrate Julia’s head right there and then. Her cell phone rang. Taking her eyes of her ‘friend’ she answered. “Yes, Ana.” She said. “Hi, Alex. Where are you?” her sister asked in a joyful voice. “Around.” She answered. “Why do you ask?” “Well, you should come home. Mom and dad called those people with the registration act to come over and you have to be here.” She said. Her eyes widened with anger. “What?” she asked louder than she should have. Julia looked at her raising an eyebrow. “ That law about mutant registration was approved and mom and dad said that it would be better if you were registered.” Ana explained. Alexandra closed her eyes. This was what she feared most. But no, she won’t do what they say. She didn’t care if she was breaking the law or her parents’ word. “Fine.” She said and hung up, not waiting anymore for an answer from her sister. “So, what’s wrong?” Julia asked, feeling curious. “Nothing.” She answered coldly. “I have to go.” Taking her book and her bag she left without even answering to Julia’s ‘good bye’.

looking forward to hearing your proposition, fever.
Okay I'll PM you after I've discussed it with the other person involved. Circe = limitlss possibilities, yet not immediately omnipotent. I like it. Good balance of strength and weakness. ;D
