Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Pippa skipped the hot tub party. It had been a joint effort between HR and PR, and it was a measurable success, even if it had some... sizable wrinkles to be smoothed out later on. Haven made a splash for sure (no they were not going to use that in official communications, thank you), and also raised money for a good cause. Pippa put a lot of work in from the background, and was going to deal with the cleanup as well, but she decided not to be present at the actual event. Mostly because showing up in a bathing suit would have probably tilted the media response in a whole different... top-heavy direction.

And yet, she did get the rundown, from a recovering Svetlana, and other Haven members who attended. Sifting through the information, someone stood out: a young social media influencer named Shay. Haven was not very strong on the social media front. Pippa intended to change that. So, she reached out to ShadyShay - gotta work on that- and invited them to Haven for a meeting.

Pippa had a habit of tailoring her appearance to the people she was meeting with. Not to the extent as Shay, who seemed to be an actual shapeshifter, but she did pay attention to detail. As she waited at the front desk for Shay, she was wearing a white blouse and a green skirt, with a pair of red gloves. Her hair was let down for a more casual look. Let's not spook the influencer with a full business outfit.

Haven needed fresh blood. And fresh social media channels. Hopefully, Shady Shay would be a good fit for both.
