The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Evelyn had never been to the Sanctuary, at least to her memory, but she found the place easily enough. It didn't take long after leaving her apartment to navigate to the strange little mutant shelter. She had the syringe tucked safely into a bag she had brought, the purse traded with the booster seat she had used to get to the city. No need for that on the subway, which had brought her here.
[Familiarity] Evelyn paused as she noticed the receptionist gazed at her, the woman giving her a small once over. Evelyn knew that glance. It was the 'have I seen you before?'. Evelyn answered it with a little shrug. Neither actually said anything, but it was a quick exchange that said 'heck if I know'.
"I expect someone to meet me here shortly," Evelyn finally remarked in a formal tone. Politely, Lisa offered her a place to sit. Hopefully, Doc would be along soon with the boy he had mentioned...
He stood before the Sanctuary, clutching a leather messenger bag close to his form as he looked about slowly. He hadn't ever walked inside before, but he felt like he could make his way around the place like it was an old home. He stared at the golden doors for longer than he meant to. Had he been lost in thought or something? He jerked to attention, feeling his head for a long brimmed hat placed upon it.
Right, he was here, best to go in! Time was wasting!
He strode into the building with purpose, looking about very briefly before he spotted who he was looking for. The Seven year old stood out like a sore thumb in the lobby. "Evelyn, my new friend! Wonderful to see you made it here safe!" He walked over to where she was seated and took off the hat, looking about for a moment before placing it on her head.
"Come! We must hurry! I believe he should be here." He started walking once more with giddyup in his step, walking the oddly familiar halls. His conscious seemed to stretch out as he turned a few times, feeling strange feelings, as if he'd traced the same path as someone else before. He shook off the feeling as he found himself standing before an old office...
"Sorry... Wrong place." Compound eyes lingered on the door for a moment longer before he turned and continued into the living areas. With confidence he walked down another hall, and then up to a small room with a closed door. Quickly, he knocked twice. Then twice again. Then twice again. Then twice again. Then twice again. Then twice again.
Why was he knocking like this? Did he always knock like this? Well, for Ty he did. Or did he? When had he ever knocked for the young man?

Ty was learning to love his room. His older self had a pretty respectable style, and he had some cool stuff. And the bed was a lot comfier than the bench he woke up on. Plus, he didn't need a job, so he could just pick pockets as needed for a little extra spending money; it was a pretty sweet deal.
Knock knock.
Ty groaned, rolling over in bed, sleeping soundly.
Knock knock.
Ugh. Ten more minutes.
Knock knock.
Okay make it twenty.
Knock knock.
"Whaaaaat...." Ty groaned, throwing the blanket back and crawling out of bed with a grumble, shaggy red hair strewn about his head as he threw on a tee shirt and jeans so he wasn't answering the door in his boxers. Then he groggily stumbledto the door and opened it, flinching when he saw the giant roach standing there."What, you making house calls, now?" he grumbled. "I thought the address section was for mail, not stalking."
He glanced down at the kid, who looked very familiar, much like a woman he'd seen in his visions awhile back. Someone he'd met and talked to in a coffee shop.
"Let me guess...this has something to do with this whole being younger bulls***, yeah?" he asked dryly before grabbing his jacket off the back of the door and throwing it on. "Start explaining, I guess..." He tightened his black fingerless gloves, figuring he was in for a hell of a day.

Greg arrived and used Evelyn as a hat-holder. She should have felt a little annoyed with this, but something told her the giant cockroach/man was a little, well, not all there. The echoes seemed to think he had echoes himself of some sort, based on the way he often seemed to lose track of thoughts or get distracted.
[Possible internal conflict. Psychological unstable tendencies, odd body language.] She would have to study more, but was already committed to this project, so she didn't retreat.
At the door, she waited until a boy appeared, and the glance he gave her was actually quite surprising. [Recognition.] Another person who knew the past her! At least, somewhat. He responded as if he did, and he also claimed it had something to do with the de-aging.
Evelyn sighed and lifted the little syringe out of her back, holding it up to him. "We are under the impression you may be able to glean some information from this. Unless you're too busy to handle such an adult responsibility. Frankly, I'm not sure your qualified to be trusted with this." She didn't like the boy already. Her eyes were sharp and unhappy.
Ty took a bit to answer. This was pretty predictable. After all, he was a teenager. The knocking would persist until he answered the door. He was happy to see them. That was sarcasm. Gregory tipped a nonexistent cap to the young man, and then bowed his head slightly.
"Yes, I do apologize for barging in, but the circumstance called for it." He stepped away from the door to reveal Evelyn, who drew an instant reaction.
The giant bugs antennae lowered a bit when Ty was a bit crude. "Ah, very astute of you, young man. My associate here is name Evelyn. She has an important piece to the puzzle of this situation. I think we have enough with the two of you to get some real answers." He beamed.
Still, there was hesitation. He looked back to Evelyn as she spoke. She did not approve of Ty. He looked back to Ty. How ever could she disapprove? "Now, now, I hope we can all act civil! Remember, we all have a common goal! Young lady, I promise I will assume full responsibility for this young man's actions." He gave a firm nod as he stepped back.
"Perhaps we should find somewhere more comfortable to do this? Any ideas, Mr.Fisher?"

Ty rubbed his eyes; he needed coffee but after the kid spoke it became apparent that there was not enough coffee in the world to deal with that. "Look here, you little sh**, I just woke up, I was not expecting company, and I didn't know preschool let out this early," he snapped. "I promise I can handle whatever you have for me." He sighed, listening as the Roach spoke.
"I liked her better when we were grown and talking in a coffee shop," he grumbled, before stepping aside and motioning them in. "Here's as good as place as any. Make yourself at home." Besides the bed there was a recliner and a love seat to sit on, from back when the version of him that originally lived here had more company. First, he walked over to the coffee table in the corner where a coffee pot and all the fixings were. He brewed a pot, and poured a rather large cup before taking a sip, savoring the flavor for a minute before setting the cup down and holding his hand out for the syringe.
"If it'll get us to the bottom of this, I'm willing to work amicably," he said, giving a nod.
Evelyn found herself in a strange situation. She was here for the pursuit of information. There had been a mystery, and she had been inclined to help solve it. But she did not like the boy. He did not like her either. But he knew the old her, so the tiny sociopath in front of him was hardly what he would have been hoping to encounter.
Doc told her he would take responsibility for Mr. Fisher. That didn't have a lot of weight at this point, because she wasn't sure he was completely sane, and she wasn't sure this kid was completely trustworthy.
Overall, all signs pointed that she shouldn't walk into the room.
So she did.
Inside, she found a spot to sit on the recliner, perched properly on the edge of the cushion. She gave the boy the item, and was careful not to touch his skin. "I don't think it's fair for you to judge me based on some secondhand memory. I've met several of us de-aged mutants, and no one has their actual memories."
They had been seeking the syringe. [Inanimate object. Comments on past self, contradicts current knowledge of de-aging process. Roach-mutant commented utilize object to find origins.] Had there been something that remembered meeting her? That seemed far more likely.
The echoes spent time questioning situations when she knew he would soon give the answer anyway. It was a game of prediction. There was no reward except being right. And, well, Evelyn liked being right.
Now, it may have just been his imagination. But... It seemed. Just a little. Like there might be some tension in the air. Doc looked about for a moment, as if trying to find a knife to cut the tension with.
"I assure you, she is quite capable, and would likely be in... second grade? by age. Though as far as intelligence is concerned, I have met many adults with less knowledge and propensity toward learning." The doctorate paused when invited in, stepping back to allow Evelyn to go first.
The girl made herself comfortable, and the giant bug made his way in, standing in an open patch of space. "It is as I explained, Evelyn, Mr.Fisher is able to read the memories of objects! I take it you have had some time to look into your past more?"
He watched as the item was transferred to the young man. "Great! We'll be an excellent team!" His mandibles clacked with excitement. "Well, I suppose it is the moment of truth."
