Kalos liked the neck, so Gina kept it. The child then reccommended something other than sleeves-- gloves, like the ones that she was wearing. These were shown and explained as--
>> "This is cover my hands so I do not lose a piece."
"You can definitely have glove," the gargoyle affirmed, even adopting the child's unusual way of speaking. The gargoyle glanced at the white costume gloves, which (as adult length gloves) went up beyond the child's elbows. Gina drew two lines, one on each of the figure's forearms, signifying gloves. Then she wrote "over-the-elbow gloves, already has" in a bubbly scrawl.
"What colors should the dress be?" Gina inquired, smiling. That was an important detail. And, since she was already jotting notes down, she might as well write that, too.

What color? Kalos' first inclination was to shout PINK from the rooftops. Pink was definitely her color. But... "Pink maybe not so good as my pink. Her pink was the superior pink. Always. "I love the wild colors." Did that make sense? What colors even looked good with pink? Kalos gravitated healily toward mustard yellow and things that were shiny or multi-colored.
"How does the color of the sea sound? Blue, but the blue with the green inside of it as well?"

Gina nodded. She thought she understood what "wild colors" were.
"Like a rainbow?" she asked.

Oh, wild like nature?
"Sure, I could make a sea-colored dress," Gina agreed, "Are there other colors you'd want to add to the dress?"

Did she mean something like a rainbow? No. Rainbows were orderly and calm. Kalos didn't feel orderly or calm. She shook her head and furrowed her eyebrows while she thought overtime about it.
Were there other colors? Was this a test? "I like them all. Maybe not brown, except chocolate is brown..." Hmm. Did she like brown? People could be brown. "My trouble is choosing only one color. Or making the colors be nice to each other. I like them when they are—" She cast about for the right word. "Uh. I like when they fight? I like it when they have crash, boom, wrestle."
Only, that wasn't dignified. Kalos deflated a bit.
"Queens do not have fighting colors on their dresses... do they?"
