The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(OOC: Rook also, thanks @neo for the subject name <3)
Zelda was enjoying a nice cup of Starbucks as she walked back to her Hospital. She had taken a small break, her body craving some type of caffeine to keep pushing it through the rest of the day. The weather seemed a bit colder than most days, but summer was wrapping up. She was totally a walking cliche - her coffee, her outfit, her walk down the block. Really, maybe she should apply to be an actress on Grey's Anatomy. It seems like her life was mirroring that,
Oh well, Zelda loved it. She had worn a more comfortable outfit with her lab coat over it. Today was just research - the hospital didn't have her even scheduled. It was a free day and Zelda chose to do what she loved during it. Work. She knew she was addicted but she really didn't have anything better to do - her work was her life. There was nothing more important to her than her research and her patients.
Zelda was only about a block away from the hospital before she saw several police cars, a fire truck, and an ambulance with their lights and sirens wailing. It looked like the police had formed some type of barricade in an ally. Huh. Zelda was instinctively a curious person, plus if an ambulance was there, someone could be her. Plus, who didn't like a little surprise work?
Zelda semi-walked/semi-power walked to the officer on duty. She showed her badge and began to ask questions regarding the situation. Turns out, a mutant's power must have just began to manifest and he was on his way to the hospital. The officer told Zelda the kid was only about 13 years old - roughly the right age for powers to be manifesting. Zelda wasn't quite prepared for what his powers were - but apparently metal, steel like shards were moving in and out of his body. A few would fly off of him. Also turns out police are hesitant to tranq a 13 year old, even if he's pretty dangerous. Probably helped that he was seeking help to begin with.
Zelda went over to the ambulance to get the common relaxer they were trying to inject into the poor guy. Poor paramedic got one of the shards in her leg. Looked... Painful. Zelda patted the girl, "I'm sorry, you did a great job. It's dangerous." She wrote her number down on a piece of paper, handing it to the girl. "I'll make sure they give you a few extra days off than what you'd usually get. Just shoot me your name & your hospital ID # and I'll make sure of it." She smiled, gave one more gentle pat on the back. She hoped that her offer would help the girl be more calm - they really didn't need to lose anymore paramedics. And the paramedic wasn't too happy, anymore.
Once Zelda got a couple syringes of the drug full, she began to slowly move towards the teenager. She left the safety of the barricade and began to slowly walk towards the teenager. "Hi there, I'm Dr. Zelda Gray, I work for the hospital up the street." She slowly moved forward. She kept the syringes hidden behind the sleeve of her lab coat.
"And this was looking like such a good day too..." Alex grumbled as he stood on the corner of an intersection, his black leather jacket covered in white paint. He wasn't wearing the soiled jacket, but was carrying it in a plastic bag. Only an hour ago he had been wearing it as he was walking through a hardware store as he looked for a new pocket knife. However what was looking to be a nice day had turned on it's ear when a worker at the store dropped the can of paint behind him and it splashed upwards instead of out. While he was mad, the fact that the manager was so apologetic helped Alex relax a little. After giving Alex the money to get a replacement jacket, the gemstone manipulator finally let the guy off the hook and left.
However he was still steamed, and the bad part of Alex's temper was that when he finally got angry it stuck around for a while.
Crossing the street and continuing his walk, Rook was wondering if he should've let them off the hook so easily, however all things considered that employee was fired for this, so getting the cash needed to replace his coat was enough. However he was slightly cold now, and since he had his malachite wrapped around his torso instead of being on his arms, he was finding it slightly hard to breath. It was against his better judgement, but walking around with gemstones on his bare wrists was just stupid. He might as well be walking around with a sign that said 'rob me!' So he kept his malachite hidden under his T-shirt.
As he rounded another bend to get to a good place to wave down a cab, the sight of police cars and other flashing lights quickly caught his attention. Before Alex knew it he was running towards them to see if he could lend a hand. As he did so he saw a woman entering an ambulance on the opposite edge of the barricade while a police officer stepped up to block his path, though when he held up his MRC consultant card the officer allowed Alex to hear what was going on. "13? Oh, that poor kid." That's when Alex made his decision; he would attempt to get the child to calm down and maybe help the child learn to control his powers so he wouldn't be throwing anything else around that could hurt someone. And if he couldn't calm him down... he would have to tranquilize the kid, but he'd be right next to him when he woke up to help talk him through controlling his powers.
This kid wasn't the only one that had a rough time when he's powers emerged. Alex did as well.
With that in mind he turned to head towards the nearest ambulance, only to see the woman from earlier starting to head towards the kid! Who the heck was she?! Was she qualified for this? Then again was he? However he wasn't sure if she had some sort of way to protect herself from the child while he did. Without thinking about his own safety he had taken a few steps towards the woman before stopping when he realized he entered the danger zone without a plan... or the knock out drug. Alex, this is why you should go back to being a custodian or a potter. he thought as he held out both of his hands at waste level so the kid could see he was unarmed.
"Hey. I'm Alex. Take it easy, I'm not going to do anything. I'm a mutant like you." he said as his cyan eyes began to glow a bright green.
He wasn't taking another step until the kid calmed down a hair or two.

The teenager had his hands wrapped around his legs and his head on his knees. He was sobbing, he was very distraught. There wasn't much they could do besides get him into the hospital so he relaxes, then find out where his parents are. Next step? Maybe the Xavier's school. They would accept him. Probably would happily accept him.
Zelda continued to move slowly to the poor kid and Zelda was trying to strategize a way to get one of the syringes into the kids thigh. If she could get that in him, it would probably relax him to the point his powers will subside or at least freeze in place. The blades would no longer shoot out. He wouldn't be sobbing, either. He would just feel a bit nice, sleepy, and maybe a bit tingly from the medicine. So long as there were no side effects,at least... But that's something they could deal with after the fact. Either way, she and the paramedics could get him to the hospital that way.
>> "Hey. I'm Alex. Take it easy, I'm not going to do anything. I'm a mutant like you."
Zelda almost jumped at hearing a man entering the danger zone. She looked over to him and smiled - good, a mutant would be very helpful to help the kid stay calm. Zelda even caught a glance of his eyes changing colors. He could prove his powers - also very helpful. Zelda herself was just an ordinary human - a doctor trying to make a difference in the world. The kid would trust the mutant, at least most likely, more than her.
Zelda was trying to go around to the side of the teenager. It looked like she might be able to get the needle into him that way. She looked over to this guy named Alex and mouthed some words, "I have a relaxer, I just need to get it into his thigh." She made a point with her finger and poked it into her thigh. Hopefully if he couldn't read lips, he was good at charades. She also slowly pulled to try to show him her hospital badge, so he knew she was a medical professional who wanted to help the kid. Granted, she hoped he had good vision with those glowing eyes.
She didn't move until she saw some type of confirmation from Alex that he had understood at least some parts of her request from him. Zelda was worried the police may decide to bring in some META bots. They would probably glitch and since the poor teen can't control his powers, they might presume to simply attack him because he's attacking - even though he's not attacking anyone specifically.
Time wasn't on their side... At all. The police wouldn't wait around forever without making a move - her arrival and Alex's maybe gave them 5-10 more minutes of spare time.
Alex glanced over at the woman and saw her lips moving. Reading lips wasn't the best of his abilities, but he got the gist of it, and nodded. After mouthing the words "MRC consultant." he turned his attention back to the kid. He would play the role of distraction. He had to keep the kid's attention on him and figure out a way to keep him calm. However time wasn't on their side. He knew from experience that the police wouldn't wait long to act... and if META bots arrived it could be all over. He might of helped the FBI and MRC catch a dangerous mutant mercenary group that turned terrorist, but that didn't give him any real authority. If those bots showed up the most he could do was make them hesitate a second or two before they followed their programming... or glitch out. After that he was going to end up being a bullet sponge. At least his Malachite could take a few hits.
Alex shoved those thoughts the back of his mind and began to take slow steps directly towards the kid.
"Discovering that you're a mutant is scary. You suddenly have a brand new part of your body and you have no idea to control it, or if it can be controlled."
Step. Alex glanced at the crowd and police and knew that many of them might think he was lying. He was sure some of them were thinking How could a mutant not know how to control their power? Time to throw it into perspective.
He also saw a few phones and cameras out. Great, so this is gonna end up on the evening news and possibly on YouTube.
"It's just like with a newly born infant. They have legs but the don't know how to walk. They have vocal cords but they don't know how to talk. They have to learn how to control their legs so they can walk. They have to learn to form sounds into words."
Step. He looked back at the kid.
"Trust me, I know how scary it is. I found out I was a mutant in one of the worst ways possible; I almost killed my dad the instant my mutant revealed itself. He had to get a pace maker installed to stay alive. I didn't even know I had it, so how could I control it?"
Step.
"Out of fear of hurting others and out of horror for what I did I ran. I thought I had become a monster."
Step.
"But being a mutant doesn't make me a monster. It only makes me different."
Step.
"The same goes for you. You aren't a monster. You hear me? You are not a monster."

MRC consultant. Ahhh. That would explain why the police let him through the line. That was good - he knew how the police thought, mostly at least. That meant he knew how dangerous this situation can be for the young teen. Especially if META bots begin showing up. And they definitely would, it was only a matter of time. A couple flashes from phones made Zelda glare back towards the encroaching crowds. It was day time, why in the world did they have their flashes on? It looked like a few of them got the gist with her salty shade towards them and quickly turned it off. Too bad they kept filming and taking pictures.
She carefully walked as the stranger continued to talk to the young mutant. She was about 3/4ths of the way there. She needed to begin to make herself known to the mutant so he wouldn't freak that she was getting so close.
Ouch. That was a pretty sad backstory for the stranger. Nearly killing his dad as he found out about his mutation. Life wasn't fair, even to kids. "He's right - there's schools that can help you, too. I know one that would love to have an amazing, young person like you." Zelda had kept contacts at the school - from Nate (for different reasons than work) and Doc Prof, to some of the administration. She had maintained some them primarily for this reason.
"We just need you to calm down a little so we can help you." SLICE! One of the knives went right past her shoulder, cutting the fabric on her lab coat. Didn't cut the skin but was... Very uncomfortably close to her face. Maybe she should have worn goggles? A couple more of the metal shards went out of the boy, a few in the direction of the man walking. Hopefully he would get out of there way before they reached him but they were pretty fast. Zelda didn't have time to blink.
They only needed to get a little bit further... She already was prepared to pull out the syringe.
Ah, so this Zelda was aware of the X-Men's mansion? That was good. This meant that once the kid was gotten off the streets, they could get him to the mansion where he could learn to control his powers without having to worry about harming others. However if the police and MRC wouldn't allow the kid out of their sight, then Alex would be willing to help the kid control his powers. Mutations were hereditary in his family and every single time one showed up it was controlled differently. It got to the point that his great uncle had wrote a book on different ways on how mutants could control their power, and Alex's dad had added to it... and Alex had it in his backpack. Surely something in there could help him help this kid.
As Zelda spoke however, several shards of metal suddenly went flying out of the kid. Alex had lifted his hands and started to form his malachite into a shield, but despite how fast he could make it he couldn't bring it up in time to block all of the shards of metal. Several had gotten embedded into the green gemstone shield... but one had slipped passed the shield before it had widened enough to catch all the shards of metal and it slashed into Alex's left thigh. The slash wasn't deep at all, but it was long. The malachite manipulator let out a pain filled grunt and grasped his wounded thigh. If the situation had been less tense he might of cracked a joke at his own expense, like saying 'that was a cut above the rest,' but now was the worst time to make a joke.
Seeing the police tense up and a few of them tightening their grips on their guns... and even grabbing their radios and calling for backup. Great, now those META bots really were on their way if they weren't already. He had to get Zelda closer so she could give him that injection... but how?
He could think of only one thing, and he started to walk faster to towards the kid... or more like limp since his thigh ached so much. "Alright," Alex said through clenched teeth. "My powers are capable of stopping yours." he said as he gave the malachite shield a small shake, causing the metal to fall out of it, and then the shield quickly repaired itself so it was completely pristine. "So with that in mind, keep your eyes on me. Look only at me, nothing else. Focus everything on me. If you feel like you are about to let loose another blade, aim it at me. My powers can stop it. No one else will get hurt." Alex said quickly as the shield increased in size till it was 6 feet tall and 6 feet wide, and a foot thick... and yet Alex was moving it as if it was nothing.
"I'm also willing to create a cocoon of my power around you to stop any chance of those blades hurting anyone else, but I won't unless you give me permission to do so."

Zelda winced as she watched the metal shard dig and then fly away from the man's leg. That looked painful, pretty long. It may need stitches but it definitely needed to be sanitized - this may be metal shards but it did come from a kid. Who knows what kind of germs could be living on those shards. She'd have to get that checked out as soon as they got this kid under control. Zelda was nearing him and slowly pulled one of the syringes out, still careful to make sure that he wouldn't notice it. It would defeat this entire purpose if the kid saw it and panicked. He may want help but he isn't in control right now - his emotions & mutation was in control.
The boy was unsure of what to do, but he seemed to connect a bit with Alex as he actually looked up towards him with tear soaked eyes. He was devastated, afraid, and his soft, broken voice made it even more heartbreaking: "I don't know what's happening... My mom saw it and she won't talk to me anymore... She made me leave... I... I was going to the h-hospital..." He looked towards the guys, staring straight at his shield.
Zelda nodded towards the guy, that was good. He was paying attention to Alex and that meant she could make her move. Poor kid, though. It nearly broke Zelda's heart hearing him break into what is happening. Maybe she could help him and it definitely looked Alex might be able to help too. No one deserved to be in that much pain. Zelda shook her head at the last suggestion - they didn't need to confine him, at least not yet. He needed to be calm.
Lucky for them, Zelda got her chance as he was looking towards Alex. She dove in and injected the syringe into his leg. He jumped, afraid, and a few metal shards shot towards Alex shield. The kid then slumped, the metal shards disappearing into his body, as he slowly started to fall. Zelda quickly grabbed him so he wouldn't fall and hugged him close to her and petted his head, "Shhh... Shhh.. It's okay, it's okay. I need to know your name, okay?" When her deceased best friend manifested, she was there for this. She would never know how it felt but she knew enough from his pain to know the kind of pain. Most likely, his mom has rejected him and won't let him come home.
He sniffed and looked up towards her, "Abel..." She nodded and pulled his head against her chest as he continued to sob. "We'll figure it out, okay? You won't be alone and you'll be able to learn to control it." She motioned for Alex to come over in case he had any words to add."
Finally the kid started to talk... and what he said was what Alex had expected; his family now viewed him as a monster and kicked him out. No one asked to be a mutant, no one gets the option to choose. Either you are or you aren't. Seriously it's just another form of racism to hate a mutant... and that's why Alex wanted to do his best to end it. It was a very complicated process but he was doing his best. How he just had to keep going.
... though at the moment the most he could do was dig his heels into the ground and brace himself as his malachite wall was shotgunned by a bunch of metal shards that could pass for steak knives. Every single blade embedded itself into the shield, creating large cracks in the shield so it seemed as though the shield would shatter. Instead the cracks slowly closed as the shield seemed to heel itself. Moments later all the blades were pushed out of the shield and fell to the ground as Alex peeked around the edge of his shield to see that Zelda had managed to get the relaxer into the kid.
Letting out a sigh of relief he recalled the shield back into his arms, and created a cane to help support his weight so he didn't put it all onto his injured hip. Half walking, half limping, Alex made it to the kid and Zelda. "Abel, there is a school held within a mansion that is close by. They help mutants learn to control their powers. I work there too so if you decide to go there I'll always be available to talk while I'm in the building."
As he spoke Alex heard the sound of a moving vehicle that seemed to have a powerful engine, as if it was meant to transport something that was heavy. Please tell me that is just another ambulance. Alex thought as he glanced over at Zelda with a look that said he'd keep them all safe if the situation began to turn south.

Zelda held the poor kid as he cried onto her. He couldn't help his mutation came on so suddenly and it was even worse that his mother abandoned him. There would be consequences for his mother. Abandonment of a kid, she was confident, was a felony child abuse charge. He seemed like a good kid, too. He tried to get help as soon as he manifested and that showed some determination and a good moral compass on him.
She nodded, "I know which school he's talking about, too. There's X-Man and they'd be lucky to have someone like you in their school. I'm a pretty frequent visitor there, too, so we can talk as well." She looked at the wound in Alex's leg and winced, "We need to get that cleaned and bandaged, asap."
The poor kid kept sobbing into Zelda's shirt, clearly lost and unsure of what to do. She simply held him for the time being, rubbing his back.
The cops seemed to back off a little bit at this point as they began to remove the barriers. Hopefully, they'd let her just take him to the hospital - they were only about a block away, anyways. A couple of them nodded towards them and began to head towards their car. But, then there was a loud engine sound. Oh no. Her eyes darted to Alex, "We need to get out of here, now. We can talk with the police at the hospital, but there is no way I'm letting one of those stupid robots get anywhere near this kid." She glanced up and down the alleyway. There was one door but she wasn't sure if it was locked or not. It was probably locked. Plus, who knows where it went too?
She picked the poor kid up. He was lightweight, probably undernourished for what Zelda presumed was his age. There may be more bad to this poor kid's life that she didn't realize in the moment of the situation. She motioned for Alex to follow her and she tried to open the door, but it was locked. Sh*t. "I'm hoping you can make a lockpick out of your powers..?"
A very loud "ALERT. ALERT. ARREST REQUESTED FOR HOSTIL-HOSTIL-HOSTILE MUTANT." beeping from a large META bot in the background. Fish sticks.
Hearing what Zelda said about the X-Mansion made Alex do a double take, followed by a small smile slowly crossing his face. "Guess that means we're gonna be seeing each other repeatably." he said with a smile, then glanced down at his hip, winced slightly, and nodded. "No argument here, but I'd prefer to make sure the kid is safe first." he said with a nod as he gently padded the kid's back. As the police cleared away the barriers Alex's gaze shifted to Zelda, and he couldn't help but smile out of respect.
However when she picked up the kid and started to run, he didn't give any argument and quickly followed. He hated those META bots since they acted as if everyone was a criminal and would shoot first and act questions never. He took more then a bullet or two from those things when he was with the MRC, and one point he demanded that they leave the bots behind on their missions. Finally a protocol was installed onto the bots to never shoot at anyone that was colored a malachite green, but it meant that Alex had to keep his malachite visible at all times to avoid getting shot. It worked, but the question was did these bots have that protocol? If they did then they could just walk away under a malachite shield. However Alex didn't want to test that out since if they didn't have it they turn everyone into Swiss cheese.
"I can do more then make a lock pick." he said as a malachite rod extended to the lock, and barely a second later the rod rotated with the sound of a click. Alex opened the door and pulled the malachite away form the door to reveal that the end of the rod and grown into a key! Inside there were a few people that looked like they were part of a gang, and this was confirmed when they started to draw guns with an angry look on their faces. However before they could fully draw their weapons all 4 of them found their weapons encased within a malachite crystal though their hands were still free, and each crystal had a gemstone rod leading back to Alex's right hand. "Boys, don't bother. You can let us pass through or we can have some serious problems." Alex stated, followed by every single rod spouting spikes. "Take your pick." The only response that they got was all four gangsters letting go of their weapons and running.
"After you and get going." Alex said as he used his free hand to apply pressure to his injured hip as he dropped the weapons and recalled the malachite. Glancing over his shoulder where he could hear the sound of a META bot and realizing that he couldn't run, and knowing that Zelda wouldn't be able to either carrying a kid, Alex made up his mind; it was time to put his power to use.
With that he recalled the gemstone cane, slammed his fists together so he could fuse his two malachite bracers into one large hunk of gemstone, and quickly created what could be called a gemstone wheelchair under him... and thanks to the fact he could control the wheels he quickly took off after Zelda at 16 miles an hour, about the pace of a full blown sprint of the average Joe. As he moved he continued to make his malachite grow. so by the time he had caught with her he had grown another malachite seat behind his own so it looked like a sort of wheel chair train that was held up by 4 wheels. "Get aboard! I can move us at 17 miles an hour with this thing."
Sure, he knew it looked ridiculous but he also knew it would work.

Zelda gave Alex a warm sile and nodded, "Yeah, I think we will be." It looked like their paths would be crossing a lot. That would be good, he seemed like a good guy - and attractive. She nodded, the kid of course was the priority right now. They both could agree with that. The wound on his leg couldn't be comfortable or painless, but it wasn't going to be fatal. She could start a course of antibiotics just in case there was any type of infection, anyways. That would cover all their bases.
Abel mumbled under his breath, "I'm sorry... Thank you dudes so much..." He was clearly feeling the effects of the shot. That was good - it kept him calm. It made it less likely for the META bot to start throwing grenades at them while they tried to get away. His voice was weak, tired, but innocent. It nearly broke Zelda's heart. She just whispered a small shhhh. He didn't need to worry about this business, they just needed to get to the hospital so they could get him and Alex taken care of. Once there, they could figure the rest out.
She nodded and watched Alex pick the lock to the door, her face clearly showing impressed. Even Abel was impressed. "Nice, that was awesome, actually." That was until she saw the gangmembers inside as they tried to point their guns towards them - but again, Alex came to the rescue. They were going to let them pass by. Zelda let out a visible sigh of relief as they backed down, "We'd be screwed without you, thanks."
She did her best to go as fast as she could but she was carrying a 13 year old boy. He wasn't exactly easy to carry. He was malnourished, clearly he didn't weigh enough, but at least she could carry him and go at a relatively fast walking speed. She moved through the building, finally exiting onto the street, carefully looking around. The police were still there. It looked like they were actually arresting the gangmembers. The META bot was still saying 'Hostile' but seemed to be stuck in the alley. Whew. She took a step out and began to walk towards the hospital when Alex showed up in a wheelchair. Impressive. She nodded and quickly jumped onto the backseat. "Who knew you could create a car like that. Awesome." She chuckled and leaned back in the back wheelchair as he took off. "It's only down this block and to the left. Well, you can just follow the signs I guess."
To say that Zelda's complements were making Alex feel a little prideful would be an understatement, however he attempted to not allow it to go to his head. They had a kid to deliver to the hospital, and he needed medical attention himself. Without any sort of pain killers or bandages, Alex's thigh felt like it was on fire and the only thing that was slowing the flow of blood was his hand and sleeve.
Still though, he tried to stay positive. "Thank you for choosing Malachite Transportation. Fasten your seat belts and please enjoy the trip." Alex stated as a bit of malachite extended across Zelda and the kid to keep them in their seat, though it was fairly loose since it was technically a solid rod of gemstone. However it wasn't like they would need it since 17 miles an hour was literally a running pace... albeit a fast running pace for someone that was really fit but still a running pace. As the trio made their way down the street like this they quickly got stares from every single person they passed. And who could blame them for staring? They were on a bright green double wheelchair that had no motor and yet it was moving faster then most people could run! And it was dead silent too... save for the occasional grunt of pain coming from Alex when ever they hit a bump.
When they pulled up to the hospital Alex took them directly to the emergency doors, still getting stares from everyone. As the malachite seat belts detached and retracted back into the rest of the construct Alex said "Last stop! Everybody out!" However he didn't stand up until Zelda and the kid did so. When they did he got even more stares from everyone as the entire double wheelchair construct just seem to melt and retract into his forearms. However the moment he was finished and his eyes stopped glowing, Alex winced and looked down at his thigh... and the entire pant leg of his blue jeans on that side was red, making the injury look far worse then it actually was. His adrenaline was tapering off too, so anything that was helping him block out the pain from his wound was vanishing too.
Alex, despite all you are capable of, you're still human. And you bleed like one too. he thought as he bit his lower lip in an attempt to stop himself from letting out a pain filled groan. With that, he glanced over at Zelda and said "Erm... little help?"

Zelda was a bit shocked, to say the least, to be riding down the street on a malachite wheelchair with a kid in her arm. The stares they received were... interesting, too. Some people fumbled for their phones to take pictures. Others just stared with their mouths gaped open. She whipped her cell phone out to give the hospital a heads up that they were coming.
Once they arrived to at the emergency room doors, Zelda hopped off the wheelchair, "I need two wheelchairs, now!" A couple, presumably nurses, scurried inside the building. She glanced towards Alex as he asked for help and nodded, "Abel, I need you to stand for me, okay? We gotta help Alex get into the hospital." The poor boy nodded and wiggled out of Zelda's arms, standing but holding onto her side. Zelda quickly rushed over to Alex and put his arm on the side of his cut over her shoulder as she began to walk into the emergency room. Luckily for them, the nurses got them two wheel chairs and quickly pulled them up Zelda carefully hoisted Alex into one and then helped Abel into the other.
With that done, it was time to get them checked in - that was something the administrators did. Zelda mentioned something about her paying for their treatment and then they called both Alex and Abel back to check in. In the meantime, Zelda ran to where the boys would be assigned - luckily, beside each other. In the meantime, she went ahead and helped the nurse get all the materials ready they would need to treat them both - mainly, the materials she needed to stitch his leg up. Plus, some good ole' pain killers.
While she waited for them both to be admitted, she sat down in Alex's assigned room and decided it was time to call the mansion. They needed to be prepared for an additional student.
