The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It seems to me that the biggest weakness of the resistance is that we don't know enough about the Stalkers. Would it be possible for us to catch one?
Could Abyss bring it into the void? I mean, if guns and armor can go in, why not Stalkers?
We could use Nox's ability to control waves to block radio waves and other such signals coming from the Stalker so the hideout wouldn't be found.
Then, Gearhead could take it apart to see how it worked and find it's weaknesses. She could also, with enough talented and with enough time, reprogram it to be on our side OR build other decoy stalkers to be on our side.
From what I gather it requier's concious effort of someone in the void to exit, and seeing as Stalkers have no "mind" to speak of they can't exit it. Also, a live Stalker at the labs is simply too dangerous. Instead I'll give you weapons designed to incapacitate one and bring it back for study.
I think the thought of having MORE Stalkers running around regardless of who they worked for would be over doing it. There's been more than enough concern just on the few that do exist.
I think we would need to capture one so that Hunt has a chance to play with *cough* practise with/test his shiny weapons. But I like the idea of a smaller, surgical raid that goes in and nabs one. I think a good team for that would be: Abyss (capture it in the void), Nox (stop it from radioing for help/through infrared at it until it overheats and incapsitates itself), Shogun (can tell the position of all the human guards within 50 metres) and I can't think of anyone else right now. But a small team of three or four should be fine anywho. Tell me what you guys think?

I would like to join seeing as your resident armourere ill also porbably be designing the weapons, and i would love to go on a mission, also as i am completely human the stalker would not attack me
Ah, no you see Hades is not a mutant as his powers do not come from an X-gene. He is instead a Superhuman, whose powers come from scientific experimentation on himself. Subtle differance. Whether or not the Stalkers will notice this differance is up to CyberDoc though.
Well, seeing as how the robots haven't yet been enhanced to detect mutants from humans at this point they won't know if Hades is a human or mutant unless he does something considered to be inhuman.
Also, should anyone attack the Stalkers they will retaliate no matter if it is a mutant or human. They still have their military programming and will defend themselves at all costs.
i like the idea of bringing back a leg. Ooh, question for cyberdoc, can shogun's sword cut through a stalker? (obviously not when it's shield is up) probably not, but it's worth asking anyway

if i make something powerful enough to cripple it and the we somehow switch it off we could bring one back reasonabley intact, but i will have to borrow abyss for the job, noboyelse could handel the shear bulk of explosive that i am thinking of inleashing and nobody else could drag a heavily damaged abiet intact stalker back
I thought we were discussing bringing a part of one back. It's already been stated that a whole robot wouldn't be a good idea. I'm also still wondering about Shogun's sword.
