The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Got a plot in mind?
MRO plots are player-created the Mods facilitate and organize the big ones, but we get the ideas from you. Do you have a plot in mind, and want to know whether it needs Mod approval? Check out our plot guidelines.
okay, heres basically the outline. Normal day as usual, with everyone. Then eventually one night, Deja has a nightmare, about the future. Everyone wakesup and are in the future bodies. From there, you can show whats might happen to your chracther in the future, wheter, becoming good, bad or anything else. Now heres the problem. In the future, there is a strong mutant trying to keep this future as it is. Now this is just some brainstorms. Ideas please!
Veeeeery interesting. This would make me tip all my cards sooner than expected... which I'm not against. Especially since a leap to the future would, for Calley, be a flying leap to "WTF?!" territory.
...If this plot gets approved, I've got to get a whole slew of things approved between the Mods, me, and Hunter... oh wow. lol
Just to clarify: we would go back to present-time at the end of the plot, right? Just checkin'.
Oh! Another question: will our characters have some sort of memory as to what has happened between the present-time and the future-time, or will they just be shoved into the future with only their past memories, and they'll have to figure things out as they go along?
I was thinking, its like we take complete forms of our future selves. like we may have the occasionally, this feels different but besides that, were our future selves. So when we go back to present we will remember the whole thing. But like I said, the future can be changed.
Okay from ideas of others. Instead of her causing it herself, a powerful mutant(talking Prof Xavier type) goes into her mind and somehow activates her power to take them to the future. He then trys to control the future and from there, its how you want to play your character.
well i think it would be more interesting if we had no recalection of what happened in between and we would have to find out what exactly happened to get us this way, Like how i want to make Geo into a poor washed up wanderer and Riggs into a rich sucessful buisness man.
I think it could be a really cool. It would be really fun to play Katrina older too, once her powers have fully developed. Personally, I'd like to go forward at least 6 or 7 years so she'll be at least 18 or 19.
Question: Would we remember what happened when we woke up again? I think it would be better not to remember everything when we wake up after the whole plot line is over.
It seems like it would be best if this was one possible future, but it doesn't necessarily have to turn out that way. Especially if something really bad happened, or already had happened by the time we get there, we could all learn our lesson and maybe change things so the bad things don't come to pass.
Question: When we wake up in the future, are we going to have memories of what led up to that point? I would be fine with zero memories, full memories, or anything in between (such as having memories but realizing that something is wrong.)
It would be interesting if only mutants realized that time had shifted forward and humans didn't realize what had happened. (Or only mutants that are within a certain range of Deja when it happens.)
I like the idea of a really bad person (Prof X type) trying to control the future through Deja. That would give us something to fight against. We could all work together again, or alternately, some of us could be on the bad guy's side.
Also, it would be cool if Hunter was president of the U.S.. (He'd have to get some laws changed to allow foreign born folk to become the president)
Since we're all putting in our two cents then I'm dumping a truck load. Why should Hunter be in charge? Why can't Syn be Queen or Empress? Hunter always gets what he wants.

Hmm...Interesting. I like it a lot. Maybe Syn should be president? and Hunter could be Vice President or First Man?
The remembering thing. I'm teetering on that. Though I think I'm personally in favor of not remembering what happened in the time between, except for maybe 'recent' events or if we gained a wife/husband, kids etc we'd remember them, and our jobs if we had them.
