When TripAdvisor lists a homeless shelter at #166 of New York's must see destinations, it makes people think there's something to it. That this something is **DANGER! HOMO SUPERIOR!** does manage to make itself abundantly clear, and it is this that Kai estimated to be the cause of 100% of NYC tourists and 99.999998% of the locals crossing to the other side of the street when in that part of town.
The .000012% exception, of course, was none other than himself.
Sanctuary was nothing if not a house with a reputation, and it had long been on Kai's bucket list to take a selfie with the iconic gold doors, then live to tell the story. The fact was, said statement pieces on said street were nowhere in sight. So the teen did the next best thing-- he walked through the absence of gates, straight inside.
"Just looking," the receptionist was told, without so much as a glance in her direction. Kai glanced at his watch, took a seat in one of the nearby armchairs-- leather, surprisingly nice, closed his eyes, and waited.

Aura walked in the door's of Sanctuary with a robotic leg over her shoulder. It was lighter then some might have thought. The severed leg had been cut off is a clean cut, a single stroke. Aura had started taking Robot parts the way she once done with people only this time to examine them. Everything had weak point's, vital areas that once destroyed would disable or render the robot or person from being a threat. Aura wanted the parts as in tact as she could find them for this reason. Then she could disseminate that knowledge and with luck render them less effective.
Aura did not notice the person in the chair instead focused on Lisa as she set the part beside the womans desk to be processed. Aura understood how to defeat a person, vital organs would kill and limb shots usually disabled. However she had no idea what circuit board in the robot was vital from a back up or anything else.
Aura would have left the room but at that moment Solkat, her pet skunk decided to wonder out from under Lisa's desk. People noticed right away of course and it made the veteran sanctuary residents evident as they gave the skunk a fair birth but did not stop as some others did when they saw the black and white kitty.
With a smile AUra moved into the sitting area to catch up with the skunk, scooping her up deciding it might not be the best thing for people to see when they first walked in, even if she was adorable. STanding she saw the person in the armchair. "Hello, your a new face, I am Aura" she said trying to be friendly.
