The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Someone had taken the golden doors of Sanctuary from them. Aura had no proof of who was responsible yet which annoyed her. The X-men had tried it once before but Aura was not sure they would try something so pointless again and Aura recalled something about a third party being involved in that mess. Either way she would need to talk with Frosty on the matter which would be at a later date. Tonight they had work to do however and so Aura had sent out the call to the Order.
A cure would be nice for many yes, but even with the best intentions it would likely become a weapon at some point. The idea of someone being able to erase mutants by the city full scared Aura to her core. Such an attack on their kind could never be permitted and so Aura had sent a spy into the Raganarok organization and it was bearing fruit already. It was why they now had a target which would soon be within sight.
The order van that carried them was driven by a cricket mutant Aura knew well. Aura looked around at the others who had answered the call to Arms her family. Thats what the order was to her.
"They are likely to have off site back up's we will need to track down as well, however the computer equipment should be a top priority as well as anyone one armed. The back ups will need to be found later but we have a team working on that as well. I would favot stealth to keep the police out of our hair's is possible but if any of you have a better plan?' she she asked preferring straight fighting but also knwoing the police had relatively good response time here and so the mission could turn very bloody and body heavy quickly.
Enders rocked back and forth as the van they occupied trucked down the road towards their target a cigarette poking from his mouth smoke slowly licking its way up his face towards squinted eyes. In his hands he held the Police issued Glock 19 he had “acquired” over the years and he went over it racking the slide back a few times to ensure it was well oiled before jamming the full magazine into it and racking the slide once more to chamber a 9mm round. Bringing the pistol to his side he shoved it down into the thigh holster that lay strapped to his leg and with a click locked it into place.
As Aura spoke Enders plucked the cigarette from his lips and with a final exhale from his nostrils he flicked the stub out of open window. He had come prepared for stealth and certainly hoped for it, he was only on this mission because he truly believed Aura when she said that this cure was a threat to all of their kind and paired with her promise that they wouldn’t kill any innocent people who happened to be in the building. The Marine also wasn’t going to go into a battle unprepared and was dressed appropriately. Black combat boots led to black cargo pants, a thigh holster strapped to his right leg. On his upper body he had donned a sleeveless black compression shirt underneath a black MOLLE vest carrier which held several magazine pouches all filled, several flex cuffs to incapacitate any who tried to stop them, a fixed blade knife strapped to the right shoulder, and inside the vest held two ceramic plates to protect him.
Reaching a hand up he pulled the black half mask over his nose and let it snap into place. The crystal manipulator remained silent as they rumbled along and didn’t activate his power yet, best to conserve power until he knew he was going to need it.
The seat in the back appeared to be empty in the dark of night. Only a passing street light would hit the car, revealing Shade location. He didn't know why he hadn't opted out of riding in the van. It was loud and crowded. Shade preferred a bit more operating room when he worked.
The mutant in front of Shade was playing with his gun before they arrived. It annoyed Shade. The constant sliding of the bolt made Shade want to slide his knife into the man's throat. His heart burn flared at the thought, the effect of his conscience remaining him that he had made a promise to not kill. Shade growled softly at the pain. Tonight would probably be bad enough without Shade worrying about where to stab people.
Shade was glad Aura wanted to work in the shadows. It was Shade's specialty. The back up sounded like a problem for the others, but Shade only had to slip away in the shadows. He had the objective. He could count on the others for the distraction.
Aura got out of the car with a confident smile. They could do this, they were strong and powerful. The place was inconspicuous and well not hidden it was something you could have just passed by.
"Hey shade, can you cut the power for us?" she said glancing up at the power line cable. They had brought a set of special wire cutters for the job. She offered them to shade not sure if he needed them or could do the job with his own arms. Either way she did want to see him electrocuted. She had recently learned how that very thing felt and would be happy to avoid it herself.
By cutting the power to the building itself Aura figured they would have almost all the time they needed. Sahdes mission was a bit different then her own and Josephs. She suspected some of the people with her might not want to do what was needed. She had confidence however that Shade would enjoy the extra curricular activities.
She moved to the door, a steel almost concealed door, used for people to take smoke breaks. Moments later what looked like a security guard came out the door, the camera abaove it clearly focussed on the hooded girl, Moving to put the guards back to Joseph she smiled at the officer who asked her why she was there.
