The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

*Delphi spends a good chunk of her time with a camera taking pictures.* If one of you would just lie down rub the ground I could says you are making snow angels. *Del pleas with her kids.*
"Oi oi." Siren calls to his kids. "<Mom wants this. Watch me, alright? Like this!" He flops down in the snow next them to make a snow angle, but only really succeds in getting babie tackled.
Perfect. *Del says snapping the picture just the same and with just as much pride before she sits down next to them and joins in.*
From the window Grandma and Mrs. Starling are watching along with a few other aunts.
"Look them, they make quite the family." "Yes, they do. I don't think I could of had the energry for two more with my first." "I was young when I had Cassie and so out of my debth, but I always wondered if I had waited and had more money could I have done more for her?" "James and I had kids latter when we had the money for the trip and we got tired faster, I don't really know which is better."
Grandma intrupts, "The three seem mutualy exclusive, if you have time you don't have money or energy. If you have the energy you have neither of the other two."
If Siren was in with the analytical aunts, he might point out it could be a combination of Delphi and Siren's opposite factors they bring into the relationship. But he's not inside, he's out, and they continue to play with the kids until, as is enevitable, someone has a little bit too much fun and starts to cry.
*Delphi scoops up Aria who has had enough. Del wipes at both their tears as she turns to Siren.* I think it is time to get them warm and down for a nap.
*Everyone is hauled into the cabin by Siren and Del after some good-byes are called out to cousins nearby. They then changed diapers and head to the play pen to put them down for a nice long nap.* Well they got fussy fast.
"Lots of excitement." Siren says, as they head out to the living room after putting the kids down. "Tires them out faster." He sits on the piano bench with his hot tea which is in continuous supply from the kitchen.
That could be a very good thing. *Del says starting up a fire in the fire place and then sitting on one of the love seat couches infront of the fireplace holding a cup of tea in her hands, that she sips at.* Can you imagine what it will be like when they are walking? *Del asks staring vaguely ahead, one might even say into the future.*
Nothing set in stone. *Del says shrugging it off.* Just kids running around like wild indians. Although will happily inform you they will all get chicken pox at the same time. Exciting, huh?
Now that is cheating, and no. The object of getting over something like that is to have the immunity. *Future doctor Del corrects Siren.* The'd have to see the healers everytime they would get it again.
Ha, ha no sweetie. *Del insists, and then teases him.* This from the man who didn't want to sing to his kids because it felt like cheating. *She points out.*
