The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"They are only going to be able to stand that for an hour or two. Babies love snow but they can't tell you what parts aren't warm enough." Del's mom enlightens them. "You know what you two could do is when you're done with that drop them off at the house, some one will happily watch them for you two."
Oh, mom I don't want to impose on anyone. *Del says, not wanting to cut someones fun.*
"<Feh, I grew up in a land without snow, so I don't know everything about babies.>" Siren mutters, amused, as he tries to get one of his daughters to eat.
Siren pushes and shovels and moves the mush that Harmony's trying to spit out back into her mouth. "<Mushy, isn't it?>" He tells her "<But you like it. Mmmmm, tastey.>"
"Daaadieeeeeee"
"I think she thinks 'dadie' means no." Siren muses, amused. "I am somehow less flatterd all of a sudden."
She just isn't hungry yet. I fed them not too long ago. *Delphi comments.*
"The first word means everything to a baby. You get much to excited that they understand. But one word quickly leads to the entire language." Del's mom explains. "And then they never shut up.'
Siren laughs. "Alright, alright, no more mush, I get the point. If you're going to learn how to talk out of desperation no to eat it... You can get away with it this time, you manipulative little jubblies."
*Del laughs a little smirking.* And now they know how effective it is.
"Yes well back to what I was saying. You should let some of the younger cousins sit, they would love it." Mrs. Starling says pushing the point, "And if not them I would love to watch the kids and your dad should spend some time with them."
*Del and Siren make it through breakfast to choirouses of Noes and Daddies from Apollo and Harmony. They all help clean up dishes and then wrap up the kids for out doors.* * Del's mom leads the troop over to the main house where plenty of families are out and about on snow mobeils, sleds, and ice skates. *
