That is a fair statement. Although to be fair if you had just come to the rug this afternoon we would have had some fun. I though we were teasing but you kept on with the music and I figured if you were going to get involved with the piano then I would go take a nap. I'm sorry if you felt I was blowing you off but I was feeling the same thing. *Del says, and this is mostly true. But there is a tiny part of her that just really doesn't want to have sex. And not because it isn't fun, by all means it is amazing but one of the risks is kids. No matter how prepared Del is she knows there really isn't a 100% gaurentee on fun without possibly ending up with more kids.*
Siren makes a slight frustrated noise. "Del... I always persue you. I'm always the one who- who takes the iniciative. I wanted to see if you... If you were willing to persue me for a change."
I didn't. *Del says pointing out the obvious. She has had sixteen years of sex out side of marriage is bad, no no! Siren is lucky she got past that but there is still a tiny part that is going to fall back on childhood beliefs, no matter how rational she is now.*
It probably doesn't help now, but I'm sorry. *Del offers, she can admit that she doesn't persue Siren activly, she can be sorry but it really is unlikely to change and she knows it.*
Siren . . . *Del automatically feels bad too.* I-I, it is hard for me to persue you, but not because I don't want you. Please don't think it is because I don't want to be with you. *Del appoligises.*
He looks up at her, confused. "Hard? How? I mean... I'm not doubting your word here, but- I mean, I don't expect you to be jumping me every time you see me, but it's nice to... to get that sort of reassureance occasionally."
Siren I'm not Catholic, not anymore but you need to understand I was raised catholic. *Del says carefully, not wanting to word this wrong.* Since I was a baby I've been told very specifically what the rules are on sex and I don't believe them any more. Not rationally any ways but, deep down I still revert to them and this whole situation is so different from anything I ever pictured let alone believed some times it is just difficult, I mean do you even know the churches stance on sex? *Del says smirking at that last though.*
Ok well think about it and then think about what we do and tell me how well those two thoughts mesh. *Del says pointing out that catholics believe there is literally only one way sex is ok. Between a husband a wife in an attempt to create a life. In other words, if there are obstacles like condoms or age than no sex! Siren and Del not married and now on a frequent protected sex kick.*
Right so I am doing what I can ok? I will try and work on it but that is the most I can promise. *Del says. And now she would like to take her shower and it wouldn't be bad if Siren joined her, but whould he be up for that?*
Siren smiles. "Hey. C'mere." He becons with his head. He then gives he a gentle kiss on the forhead. "That's all I could ever ask for."
Siren would definatly be up for a shower. Not really shower-sex though, because he doesn't particularly feel like inniatiating it at the moment, and they've just coverd that Delphi doesn't really do that.
Ok well . . . I want to take a shower for bed, you're welcome to join but honestly, shower before bed. *Del spells it out clearly, she isn't looking for shower-sex.*
