The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Siren spins around the bench and follows her. "Ok, how about this? Point one- you avoid confrontation. Yes, I know you're empathic and arguments can be hard on you but shit! You run away from all confrontation, not just arguments!"
*Delphi stops infront of the bathroom, and turns around.* What- I don't run away from every confrontation. I'll admit I spend a lot of time avoiding conflict , and yes it is hard to deal with it, but since that is bull shit, how about you tell me how I should handel conflict?
"Avoided this argument for the entire day." He says, spinning on his heal and walking away from her. He doesn't want to end the discussion, it's more a tactict to give her a taste of her own medicin, as it were, by leaving in the middle of something.
*Del smirks, she know what this is supposed to be. A tatse of her own medicine, she could chase after him but if he just would get really angry maybe he would actually get down to the freaking problem sometime before she dies.* Maybe I can make it to tomorrow. *She says getting back to the door and opening it and shutting it behind her. She takes a step back, crosses her arms, and looks at her watch timing how long before Siren walks in really pissed off.* . . .3 . . .2 . . . 1
Siren follows her through the door, and blinks, as he doesn't see her imediately, turns, and sees her waiting. "Cute." Oh yeah. He's really pissed now, the air is starting to crackle with resonations of angry music.
Please by all means don't let you're leaving to teach me a lesson intrupt your train of though please go on, but I will be taking a shower. *Del warns him as she gets into the shower and closes the curtain on her fully dressed.*
I would guess that you would open the curtin and turn off the hot water. And if that fails, then turn on the hot water in the kitchen, bathroom and flush every toilet in the building if you can find them. *Del says, peeking her head out from the curtain.* Now will you just tell me right now why you are so angry, or else I will take a cold shower. Believe me it won't be the first time, I can more than handle it.
Yes, I will sit down and talk with you. *Del says opening the curtain most of the way and sitting on the edge of the tub looking directly at Siren.* Please start.
Siren gives her a look, and then takes a deep breath (very deep given his lung strenght), exhails, and takes of his glasses, polishing them on the edge of his shirt. It's a calming process, so that he can atempt to actually have a rational discussion himself.
"Alright. What's been annoying me. Today? We come in after a nice morning in the snow, and you give me all the signals that you want to play. I'm more than willing to comply, as one might expect." A scarcastic smile, then serious again. "Now... for an empath... you certainly seem to avoid my emotions when it comes to our sex life."
