The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tses gave a playful smirk and put her hands on her face. "Psh, I know I'm faster. If you were faster you would be leading, not following. You are just keeping up." She grinned and put her hands behind her head and looked at the tiger. She gave a mock sigh.
"It's not your fault. Some people are cats. Some people are fish. You're just not meant to be a runner." She was intentionally egging him on now. She would have executed it a lot better if she hadn't gotten that dumb lip ring this morning which made a few of the words come out a little sloppier. She should have put some ice on that dumb thing. It was hurting a little bit.
"I know. Once we leave, I'll race you home. Even with a busted arm I bet I can beat you." She stuck her tongue out, and grinned again.

"Thing about keeping up, you're only going as fast as the person in front of you," he replied, a fire in his icy blue eyes--though a competitive one, not an angry one. He smirked, as he got an idea.
"You're on. Though normally we'd have a way to make things more...interesting. Would you like to think up something the loser has to do?" His eyes twinkled with mischief, leaving the ball in her court.
Tses laughed, and rolled her eyes at him. "And what if the person in front of you is only going slow enough for you to keep up? I don't think that's a good measure of speed."
At his suggestion, her grin widened. A flicker of her old self showed through in the playfulness. "Something you have to do when---I mean---if you loose? Well.... there is this giaaaaant stuffed tiger I saw in the window of the gift shop. I say, if you loose, you have to get it for me." She smirked, and turned away from the cheetah, getting interested in their new challenge. "But heaven forbid, if I loose... is there a punishment?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.
She hoped he wouldn't say something like no cupcakes.

"When evading cops, the last thing on someone's mind is generally letting those behind catch up," he replied with a wink. He smiled at her part of the bet, and it grew even more mischievous as he thought of one. "You know...If I lose, I'll buy you the tiger." He stepped forward, closing the gap between them.
"But if I win..." He let the sentence hang a bit, as he thought of something. "You let me make you dinner." Sure, it wasn't a punishment, but maybe she wouldn't know that.
Tses snickered slightly at his response. It was a snort of a laugh that appeared and disappeared with something from beneath her amnesia showing through. The idea of a cop catching her was ridiculous. Although she wouldn't know why they were chasing her in the first place...
And then he said his end of the deal. She frowned. "Make me dinner? That seems like an odd thing to let you do. How is that a punishment? I love free food! No take-backs, that's the bet! One last look at the tigers and the race is on!" She declared, and took off at a dash to the exhibit before he could change his mind. She was certain she would win.
Although she wasn't sure how loosing could be so bad either.

Ty smiled, now, no matter what, in a sense they both won.Chuckling, he took off after her, this time adding a little more speed, but not quite running full. They made it to the tigers, and he stopped to look at them one last time.
His competitive edge was briefly dropped when he saw the white one. He remembered so many things the two of them had been through. It made him smile dreamily, then he looked at her. "So, whenever you're ready. Racin' home?" he asked, brushing aside his touchy-feely moment to give way back to the competitive edge.
Tses didn't quite have the same nostalgia Ty did for the tigers, but something about them made her feel ... happy. The way they moved, the way the white one turned at looked at her. It was like, for a moment the fog was lifting...
And then the challenge came back and it returned, leaving her back in the haze. "You're on. The race starts....now!"
With a laugh she took off and made a bee line for the exit. Pedestrians scrambled out of the way, zoo staff shot her dirty looks, but she didn't care. She was going to win! Down the sidewalk, back towards the house, moving through traffic and getting a few angry looks. One foot hitting the sidewalk quickly after the other, the stinging sensation traveling up her still sore legs and through her broken arm. But this was a competition and she had to win! She didn't glance back for Ty. She was certain he had to be behind her somewhere...

Ty gave a wild grin as the competition started, and he took off as well. However, he didn't take the same route she did. No, he backtracked, then hopped the back fence, taking the back-alleys before climbing a fire escape. From there, he took to the rooftops, just like he was used to. After all, she never said they had to stay on the ground, did she?
Reaching the apartment building, he went in through the fire escape, setting the tiger he'd lugged with him from the zoo on the coffee table, and plopping on the couch, out of breath, but victorious.
The apartment door opened, and he looked up at her with a grin. "Well hey there~" he teased lightly.
Tses finally made it up the stairs to her apartment, only hesitating once at the wrong floor, and then strode excitedly towards the door. As she pushed it open, however, her smile vanished when she noticed the figure witting on the couch.
Not possible.
"How did you... you weren't anywhere behind me! How did you get here first?" She glanced around as if the room tattle on him and tell what he'd done. His smug look said something had happened she'd missed, and that miffed her. "You cheated, didn't you? How did you win!" She wined in an accusatory tone and crossed her arms in frustration across her chest.
Ty smiled, standing up. "No, I didn't cheat. You never said I couldn't use back-alleys and rooftops, which is what I did. I was never behind you because I was above and in front of you." He grinned, handing her the stuffed tiger. "Though I admit it was a challenge doing that while carrying this."
He gave her hand a gentle squeeze before turning to go to the kitchen. "But hey, you got both prizes. Can ya really complain?"
Tses crossed her arms and tapped her foot. She tried to look stern and tried to look intimidating. But really, the only thing wrong with this was the little blow to her pride. She got the tiger, and now she was getting free food. But she felt like he had tricked her and she didn't like being tricked.
Then he handed her the tiger and she buried her face in it, watching from over the top of it's fluffy head as Ty went into the kitchen. She frowned at his question and stuck out her tongue. "Yes, yes I can complain because now we won't know who is really faster!" She grumbled, then sighed and went to flop on the couch. Gathering her collection of tigers together she sat and grumped at him, looking like a pair of blond pigtails buried in a pile of black and white. It was hard to look stern when you were surrounded by that much cute, adorable, and stuffing.
"Actually we do know who's faster. I got here first, while lugging a giant stuffed animal. Case and point~" he replied teasingly as he fired up the stove, losing his jacket in favor of a black tee shirt and faded blue jeans. On the counter, was his arsenal. Hamburger meat, bacon, onions, mushrooms and french fries.
He cooked in silence, and in awhile the apartment was filled with heavenly smells. On the menu: Hamburgers, bacon, sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, and fries, complete with any topping they'd want.
Ty fixed a plate for each of them, leaving her burger plain while loading his down. "Okay, they're done, fix it how you'd like," he said, sitting down at the table.
Tses gave a groan and stuck out her tongue, but as he started cooking it was hard to be grumpy. The food smelt too good. One thing she hadn't lost even with her memories was her appetite, and that seemed to be even bigger than her tiny figure. Hovering slightly as he cooked, she watched and stared at the different food items getting made. She accepted the burger without complaint and piled practically everything on top. Extra bacon and fries of course.
Extra fries. Always extra fries.
She didn't talk much as she ate, but that didn't last too long. Her grace while eating was never one of her strongest traits, so the food disappeared within what felt like moment. Settling back into her seat she ate the last few fries, she scooted over to where she left her stuffed animals and nested amongst them, closing her eyes sleepily.
"I guess you win this time. But only through bribery. Food and stuffed animals are my weaknesses." She yawned, and her eyes flickered as she tried to stay awake.

Ty ate in silence, as usual putting away just as much as Tses was. For two so small, they sure could shovel down a plate of food. When she finished eating, he took their dishes, and put all of the food in the fridge for later. Then, he began washing dishes.
"I am full aware what your weaknesses are," he replied with a chuckle as he finished up, then turned down the lights as he plopped on the couch and grabbed the blanket he'd been using. "The important thing was that you had fun."
