The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Since Sylar is finally approved, and I am able to finally make threads and post, I decided to put a thread up for RP requests to smooth out my ability to sort who's interested in a thread with me, and discuss where to put them.
So anyone interested in an thread with Sylar, please discuss it with me here so I can easily reference things and better be able to start a thread for us.
Sylar lives underground during the day, hiding out in the sewers and subways, but makes nightly raids into the city streets for food, so that opens up a few different spots for him to finally meet another Mutant.
So Sylar had lots of fun with the threads that came from the first time I posted this, so I'm refreshing and updating it to say once more, it's open season on sewer monsters! There's only one sewer monster though, but he's got plenty of time for threads with anyone who wants one! So to anyone interested in threading with me, let me know! I'm currently dry on threads and looking for any kind of action! Sylar has been to both the Mansion and Sanctuary, so he can show up just about anywhere now!
Serena would totally take pity on him and try to show him that not everyone is cynical and that giving other people a chance is worth it, So, would you like to have them meet eachother somehow, like for example if she was near a sewer or something when trying to practice her power and then they could meet or something? PM me if you like the idea
@syn Sylar is quite scared of normal people and crowds, so the only places outside of the underground he visits are alleys when hes crossing the city, and buildings he can steal food from, like corner stores, closed restaurants, etc, so we'll need a spot where she could actually spot him, or perhaps hear about him and end up looking for him.
@alma Really i'm interested in any threads right now to start righting, and all of your characters are interested, though I wonder how a thread with Sylar and Alma would go, as I assume the "bodachs" don't produce any type of heat, which means Sylar couldn't see them at all.
And with another montrous mutant like Gina, he's probably be more interested in communicating because of their similar status as visibly mutant.

Kiva would like Sylar, I think. She certainly wouldn't be bothered by his appearance, since she's pretty visible in her own right, if not as much. She doesn't have any allegiance in any direction, but she'd probably try to help him out all the same. She goes out at night enough that she could maybe potentially come across him during one of his raids.

Welcome to MRO, Sylar! Enjoy your stay!
I... don't see either Miles or Harlan taking kindly to a sewer dwelling hungry mutant who looks like Sylar at first sight. Miles would run for his life and Harlan would likely draw his gun. There'd have to be some peaceful interaction afterwards for either of them to calm down, but there's potential there.

I can see Sapphire maybe posting with him maybe, I can see her being in places outside of the beaten path to paint so I can see the mysterious, unsettling artist find Sylar amusing if anything.

I'm up for a thread with a sewer monster! I volunteer one mouse girl. She will be living in the mansion, but being new to the city in sure she'd be eager to explore. Maybe even look for new.mouse friends in the sewers
Spooking a little mouse sounds pretty entertaining!
Also, for anyone else interested, I've finally found a decent photo to use for Sylar thanks to Victoria, check him out if you've always wondered just what the sewer monster looks like!
