The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tses just shrugged, and feigned innocence. "Whatever. Don't wear them at night. You look fine either way." She watched him as he gathered his stuff, and put her familiar boots on, zipping and buckling them slowly to keep herself distracted. Without really thinking about it, she loosened the buckles a little. wanting to have a little more space than she normally did. Somehow, everything kept making her feel confined right now. She needed air. Her apartment just seemed too small.
"Depends on what you want to do. We can just climb upwards then go from there?" Tses suggested, and gave a little smirk. It seemed to waver a little though, and she was having trouble keeping herself together. She was too eager to get outside, too eager for a distraction.

"Yeah, I gotcha.I think they may become a new staple in my wardrobe now though. Like, symbolic of the new me or some crap," he said with a slight chuckle, noting she seemed sort of...anxious.
"I just wanna get out and do something. You know just a couple of kids causing trouble. Not everyone else's idea of a date, but it works for us~" He winked, moving towards the window and opening it, disregarding the note that was still stuck on it.
The man shimmied up the fire escape, to the roof like they had only once before. Once up, he sat on the ledge, looking up at the sky, letting his mind sort of drift back to the memories of how things were. Due to his mistakes, he wasn't sure if they'd ever be that way again. But he was willing to try. Maybe things would be better now, between them. But he could only hope.
As the air rushed into the room, Tses wandered after him like a moth to the light. But she paused at the window, noticing the note on the window. She frowned a little, squinting at it, but the only words she could read right away were 'Tses, Sorry, Understand and Fish[y]'. There were several I's in the mix, but it would take longer to decipher it than she wanted to spend indoors. So she figured she'd just do the simple thing and ask.
She scrambled up the fire escape, not as graceful as she normally was, but crawled to the rooftop without incident. Then she flopped on the rooftop, and breathed in the air, shutting her eyes and sighing. Her brain felt happily dizzy from the oxygen, and she finally lost a little of the shaking that seemed to follow her from that terrible trunk.
"If you could call this a date." She smirked, and opened an eye, peaking at him. "You still owe me one, by the way." She shut her eyes again and put her hands behind her head, just breathing deeply. Some of the buzzing left her brain, and she felt her muscles relaxing a little. But she was still ready for fun. "and tonight doesn't count." She added quickly in case he tried to get out of it. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do exactly, but she was still a little miffed about missing out on New Years.
After another moment, she paused, and then asked. "Hey Ty, what was that stuff on the paper outside my window?"[/color] She didn't know if he remembered her reading problems, so she approached it lightly trying to keep her pride intact.

Ty smiled as she joined him. "Oh, I know I still owe you. And it doesn't count. Which means I get another date with my girl~ Guaranteed." He winked, lying back with her. Inside, his little gears were spinning, trying to think of something fun, amazing, and likely less than legal that they could do.
"Oh...I'd left you a note before I found you kidnapped, and I just left it there. It explained what happened...how I was angry, and a jerk. I apologized in it, and signed it Love Fishy." He looked over at her, smiling softly. "Just to let you know that I was worried about you and I was okay and that I still love you. No matter how stupid I may be sometimes."
Tses glanced over at him, and smiled slightly, chuckling. "That's kinda cute.... Although, you do realize I can't really read half the notes you leave me, don't you?" She said, opening her eyes and glancing at him. Then she looked away again and sighed. "Always makes me feel dumb admitting it though." She stood up suddenly, and brushed off her hands on her jeans, holding out a hand to help him up.
"C'mon. Let's find a spot where we can throw stuff at people or something. I'll make you your own explosive, and you can try to land it in a trash can or something." She winked at him, then without waiting for him she took a running start and leapt from their roof to the one next door.

Ty's face dropped, and he facepalmed. "Oh....right....I forgot....I'm sorry," he replied, biting his lip a little. "It was the only thing that came to mind," he admitted, taking her hand in his and standing up, not letting go of her hand until he was fully on his feet.
"Sounds like a blast!" he answered her suggestion, no pun intended. Laughing, he took off after her, leaping to the next roof rather gracefully. As he followed her, the thoughts and memories that he'd been dwelling on that made him feel bad and confused had disappeared. For now, they were just two dumb kids about to go do something dumb for the sheer hell of it.
Tses skittered on the first roof, landing a little sloppily for her taste, but the rush of running was catching up to her. She glanced back only momentarily to make sure Ty was following, then let herself be swallowed by the thrill of the run. Her second jump was much more graceful and she laughed with relief, hair blown back by the wind. It felt good to just let go and run, skirting the edges of the rooftop with danger, and she had gone several buildings before she finally let herself slow, sides tingling with a welcomed burn. She put her hands behind her head and breathed deeply, relaxing as little glimmers of green energy wound around her arms. She hardly noticed she was doing it, but lately the tendrils of her powers were doing that when she was overly emotional.
Glancing, and waiting for Ty to catch up, she turned and glanced at the busy streets below. Laying on her belly, she put her arms up on the edge of the building, and started looking for a target. "Have a good run?" She smirked at Ty, then glanced back down.

Ty watched admiringly as she jumped from rooftop to rooftop. He had to admit he loved seeing her like this. His second jump was just as graceful, and he giggled with glee as he caught up to her. The next several were just as graceful, and coupled with just as much laughter.
For the first time in almost a month, Ty felt alive. And he was having fun. He lay next to her, slightly winded as he looked to the streets below. "Yup," he said with a small pant. "So...you find a good target yet?" he asked, chuckling a bit as his blue eyes peered over the edge.
Tses glanced from person to person, and slowly formed a tiny explosive in her hand. She finally got her mental cross-hairs on a rather stuck up looking business man with a cup of coffee in his right hand. Perfect. With care, she dropped the tiny orb and it fell into the lidless cup with a plop. Then she quickly ducked back under the edge of the roof, snorting with laughter as she head the loud pop of the cup exploding and angry cursing from below. "Awe... I wanna see the look on his face but---" A snort of laughter. "Then I'd give up us away. Oh!"
She turned to him, a wild grin on his face. "Did I tell you I learned to drive? Well sorta, I mean, I stole a car. Well, I didn't really steal it because I parked it right back in the spot where I took it from, but there was this kid in the car and he kept yelling at me, but eventually I got him to teach me to drive it and we didn't crash or anything!" She looked like a Cheshire cat when she smiled in that slightly scary way. She was a force of nature when she was let off the leash, and she could only imagine what it looked like when she got in the car. "He thought I was stupid because I didn't know what a stop sign was, but c'mon... it's not like there are any of those up here!" She waved her arms around dramatically pointing across the rooftops.

Ty bit his lip, snorting loudly as the coffee cup exploded due to Tses's little prank. "Oh my God that's priceless..." he said amidst his chuckle. Then, he looked at her with wide eyes, more surprised than anything.
"Wait...you stole a car? Okay, though I guess I drove you to that by hiding from my problems, but....that's pretty badass..." he smiled, shaking his head. "I didn't do much but try to work out, try to read, stuff like that, heh. But ya know, I coulda taught ya to drive. I learned the same way, only with friends. And no one was in the car." He stuck his tongue out teasingly, coupled with a wink.
Tses smirked and laughed, putting her head back on the concrete lip of the building. "You should have seen it though! It was hilarious! Ok, so the car was running in the parking lot and the keys were already in it, so I was like, 'well, best time to learn I guess', so I jumped in and started trying to drive it, even though I've only been in one once before, then all of a sudden this kid comes climbing up from the back seat, yelling at me in this accent, like 'oh my gawd yehr crazy lady! Turn tha car around!' I wanted to play this game, while one person steers while the other tries to land explosives in passing trash cans, but he didn't think it was that fun so I took him back to the store, but we should totally play that game again sometime!" She was obviously delighted at the thought of grand theft auto and destruction of public property, in a way, it was a wonder she managed to stay out of jail. Perhaps there was a reason for Jacobs concern over them.
With a sigh, she shook her head and rolled back over, peeking over the edge of the building. Below her, strangers were trying to clean up the coffee mess still. Smirking, she made another explosive, and held it out to Ty, setting an extra long 'timer'. Then she motioned to the ladies purse just a few feet away. She waited to see if he could managed the shot or not.

"Oh my God, really!" Ty replied, cackling so hard he rolled over. "Did I mention I freaking love you?" he asked when he could finally stop laughing long enough to breathe, much less talk. Part of him was sad she did this without him, but the other part found it oddly attractive, and freaking hilarious. "Man...I wish I'd have seen that. Sounds like a hell of a time. When we get through here, we should totally play that game. Since you have to make the explosives, I'll drive~"
When he calmed down, Tses had made and handed him an explosive, pointing out his shot. From above, he scoped it out, aiming for his target. Shouldn't be too hard, right? Once he was comfortable, and sure he had his sights set right, he released the explosive, and it dropped down, but missed the woman's purse by several feet. Instead, it hit the nearby fire hydrant. Almost as if he'd done it on purpose, the little green orb landed right on the bolt, the explosion breaking it and soaking everyone in range. Which, in turn caused everyone involved to shriek and cuss and sputter with rage.
Ty was, by this point, laughing so hard tears were staining his eyes, and he rolled so he was out of sight, holding his stomach, still giggling like a schoolgirl. He may have missed but....man this one was priceless. "Oops...." he said between cackling, "I didn't even know old ladies could cuss like that!"
For a few moments, it felt like things were back to normal. Just laughing, joking, and that little side hurting pain that came from feeling good. She was somewhere in blissful oblivion where pain couldn't touch her. But then, as Ty turned throw the explosive, a small side of her brain momentarily crumbled. Her hands shook momentarily, and she nervously clutched her palms together, the glowing light around her flickering just a tiny bit brighter. In the back of her mind, a darkness kept creeping forward, and she kept fighting to keep it at bay. It lasted only a second, but it was like drenched with cold fear, until the fire hydrant exploded, and a smile returned to her face.
"Heh, you'd almost think you that on purpose Fish." She said with a smirk, and laughed as she listened to the old lady cursing. She gave a small tug on his jacket, and nodded her head away from the crime scene. "We may want to move a bit further south. I think you've set off the uh, criminal car alarm." She snorted.

Sadly, Ty hadn't notice her mini-meltdown. The pickpocket really was in his own little world, in a place where negativity and fear couldn't touch him. This was just so much fun...
"Yeah. But to be honest I totally missed," he replied, looking at her just as she'd snapped back to herself. The redhead nodded when she tugged on his jacket, and he followed her away from the crime scene. "Yeah, true. But I gotta say it was totally worth it. That, my dear, is something that we may never see again~" The man was grinning from ear to ear, obviously proud of what was otherwise a mistake. Still...priceless.
Tses smirked at him, and shook her head. She did a little cat walk along the edge of the building, then hopped across the short gap without much difficulty. A small little rainbow glittered to her left, where the water from the fire hydrant was creating a mist in the air, and she took a moment to smile at it, before wandering further from their crime scene.
"So you really up for a joyride? You probably drive better than I do, considering the only pieces of the car I really understand are the gas and the brake. Well, braking is optional." She winked back at him, and walked backwards a few steps. She paused and made sure there was no half fished or completely finished skylight behind her first though. Didn't want to try THAT again.
